Abstract

The 5E Learning Cycle Model merupakan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek.

Abstract

This research investigates the complex dynamics that shape the sustainability of start-ups in Indonesia, focusing on the influence of government policies, networks, capital structure, entrepreneurial ecosystem, and business incubators. Using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares, this study analyzes data collected from 315 sample start-ups across various sectors. The results show significant relationships among the factors studied. Government policy emerges as a critical determinant, impacting business incubators and the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem. Networks and capital structures also play an essential role, in influencing business incubators and the entrepreneurial landscape. This study highlights the interconnectedness of these elements and underscores the importance of a holistic approach to foster sustainable start-ups. Theoretical implications suggest integrating factors in entrepreneurship models, emphasizing the role of policy-driven ecosystem development, network-centric approaches, and consideration of financial dynamics. Practical implications guide policy makers, entrepreneurs, investors, and business incubator managers in shaping a supportive and dynamic start-up ecosystem. While acknowledging limitations, this study contributes valuable insights into entrepreneurship and offers a foundation for future investigations into the sustainability of start-ups in various contexts.

Abstract

In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which is full of uncertainty, a leader who has a combination of leadership qualities and entrepreneurial spirit is needed for organizational growth, development, and sustainability. The research explored the dimensions of entrepreneurial leadership exemplified by Ciputra, the founder of Ciputra Group. It explored how these dimensions influenced the behavior of leaders who interacted directly with him. The research applied a post-positivist qualitative approach with a Simple Research Design (SRD) and the Coding Color Analysis Procedure (CCAP) to analyze the data. The primary data collection method was conducted through interviews with five informants. The results identify 10 dimensions of entrepreneurial leadership, including resilience, which has yet to be highlighted in previous related research. Resilience, in particular, is notably present among Ciputra Group leaders. Additionally, the results reveal five influences of Ciputra in entrepreneurial leadership dimensions on the behavior of leaders who interact directly with him. The findings are intended to inspire and provide valuable insights to leaders, especially founders, seeking to enhance their organizational performance and sustainability. By understanding and adopting these entrepreneurial leadership dimensions, leaders can better navigate the complexities of today’s business environment and drive their organizations toward tremendous success.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a meta-analysison determining factors that affect student's entrepreneurial intention. There are a variety of findings from several studies on the influence of the variables on entrepreneurial intention (Zhao et al., 2010; Bae et al., 2014). According to Wolf (1986), there is a need for synthesis on the various findings of several studies by using a meta-analysis approach. The meta-analysis procedure adopts the procedure by Baeet al.(2014), which includes sample identification for meta-analysis, determination, and measurement on the analyzed variables, and data analysis. This procedure has been able to filter samples from twelve dissertations/theses that place entrepreneurial intention as the critical variables in the studies. This procedure has also been able to determine eight predictors of entrepreneurial intention, which includesperceived desirability, entrepreneurship education, perceived feasibility, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, entrepreneurial attitude, internal locus of control, need for achievement, and adversityquotient. The meta-analysis findings show six significant predictors, which are perceived desirability, perceived feasibility, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, entrepreneurial attitude, need for achievement, and adversityquotient. Besides that, entrepreneurship education and internal locus of controlare two insignificant predictors.

Abstract

In this study, we examined the effect of an entrepreneurship program based on experiential learning on attitudes and intentions. We used a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected by questionnaire from a sample of 200 students attending in an entrepreneurship program and another sample of 200 students as a control group. Our results indicate that the entrepreneurship program significantly improved students'innovativeness, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, the students in an entrepreneurship program have a higher (average) innovativeness, entrepreneurial selfefficacy, and entrepreneurial intention, at the end of the entrepreneurship program, than a control group of students.

Abstract

This research was conducted at a private university in East Java (University X). The purpose of this study was to examine demographic factors as moderating variables on the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction and the relationship between rewards and job satisfaction and measure the effect of job satisfaction on job performance at the university. 106 administrative staff and 101 lecturers are the samples in this study. The sampling technique was employed using simple random sampling. Structural Equation Model used to analyze the multivariate data. Results showed that employee demographics of both respondents do not act as moderators on the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction and the relationship between rewards and job satisfaction. Likewise, the job satisfaction variable in this study does not provide a mediating effect on the relationship between job stress and employee performance and the relationship between rewards and employee performance. Significant results for administrative staff are shown in the relationship between rewards and job satisfaction and the relationship between rewards and employee performance. As for lecturers, significant results are shown in the relationship between job stress and performance and the relationship between reward and job satisfaction. Further research suggested conducting workload analysis for each position, developing an appropriate reward system, further research to determine the factors that can predict performance, and research continued by using unstructured demographic data, such as income levels or workloads.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is important for economic growth in Indonesia. Entrepreneurial opportunities are essential to maintain a business. This study is intended to explore how business teams recognize entrepreneurial opportunities as a common outcome of their entrepreneurial mindsets. Specifically, this study explores how business teams express their ideas for introducing innovative products in a marketplace where entrepreneurial opportunities underlie those ideas. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach to achieve a comprehensive summarization. A few business teams had already enrolled in the entrepreneurship course. Each business team was asked to report how the business team recognized entrepreneurial opportunities. Content analysis was used to analyze the business team reports. The business team reports were coded into main categories, which the main categories were then analyzed using manifest analysis. The results showed that the business teams recognized the entrepreneurial opportunities underlying their business ideas. Business ideas have several characteristics. This study has implications, limitations, and suggestions for future studies.
