Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology demands readiness from its users. Debriefing and mentoring are things that need to be prepared and done, especially for students in schools. The purpose of this mentoring activity is so that students have knowledge and understanding of digital literacy so that they can use it safely, ethically and according to the culture of the Indonesian nation. The mentoring activity was carried out with lectures with the theme of digital culture and continued with question and answer. Lecture and Q&A activities took place smoothly and brought benefits to the participants. This activity is a useful activity and must still be continued programmatically in order to bring benefits. The areas of digital literacy including digital skills, ethical digitization and safe digitization still need to be given in the next school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V sekolah dasar pada materi cahaya dan sifat-sifatnya. Masalah utama yang ditemukan dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dan kurangnya keterlibatan aktif mereka dalam proses pembelajaran berlangsung hal ini disebabkan oleh proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru dan kurangnya keterlibatan siswa secara langsung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan 2 siklus dan model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model inkuiri.  Model inkuiri di pilih karena dapat melibatkan langsung siswa secara aktif dalam proses menemukan dan memahami konsep melalui kegiatan eksperimen dan diskusi kelompok. Subjek dalam penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas V SDK Mbomba yang berjumlah 16 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui  dokumentasi dan tes hasil belajar siswa dengan soal pilihan ganda 20 nomor. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SDK Mbomba secara signifikan dengan hanya menggunakan 2 siklus. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui data yang dianalisis dengan membandingkan presentase ketuntasan minimal secara klasikal pada setiap akhir siklus 1 dan 2. Pada siklus 1 rata-rata nilai siswa 40 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 10%, setelah dilakukan lagi pada siklus 2 rata-rata nilai meningkat menjadi 64,25 dengan tingkat ketuntasan mencapai 100%. Selain itu, keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran juga meningkat, hal ini ditunjukan keterlibatan langsung siswa saat melakukan kegiatan eksperimen dan diskusi kelompok.

Abstract

Bullying has become a disturbing problem in the school environment, with detrimental impacts on victims and the learning environment as a whole. To overcome this problem, an integrated and effective approach is needed, one of which is through character learning in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with literature study to understand the relationship between character learning and bullying prevention. Through identification of problem topics, literature searches, analysis, and selection of the latest literature, this research aims to explore the effectiveness of character learning in overcoming bullying, understanding appropriate core values, self-strengthening, and managing students' emotions, short and long term impacts of bullying, as well as the role of bystander intervention in encouraging student intervention in bullying situations. The research results show that character education plays an important role in reducing bullying incidents, by strengthening values such as empathy, justice, respect for differences, responsibility and courage. The short and long term impacts of bullying on students include stress, decreased emotional well-being, impaired concentration, mental health problems and low self-esteem. The short and long term implications of bullying include hindered personal development, increased health care costs, and lost productivity. Prevention and intervention strategies include education and awareness, anti- bullying policies, emotional and mental health support, and development of social skills and resilience. Bystander intervention is also important in encouraging students to intervene and fight bullying. This research provides a comprehensive picture of the importance of character learning in overcoming bullying in the school environment and presents practical implications and recommendations for the future.
