Abstract

Emesis gravidarum merupakan keluhan yang sering dialami ibu hamil trimester pertama berupa mual dan muntah yang dapat menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan serta mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari. Salah satu terapi nonfarmakologis yang dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi ketidaknyamanan tersebut adalah massage Tuina. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh massage Tuina pada titik Neiguan (PC6), Zusanli (ST36), Gongsun (SP4), dan Taiyang terhadap penurunan ketidaknyamanan emesis gravidarum pada ibu hamil trimester pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-experimental dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 ibu hamil trimester pertama yang mengalami emesis gravidarum dan dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengukuran tingkat ketidaknyamanan dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner PUQE (Pregnancy Unique Quantification of Emesis and Nausea) sebelum dan sesudah intervensi massage Tuina. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dengan tingkat signifikansi α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum intervensi sebagian besar responden mengalami ketidaknyamanan kategori sedang sebanyak 19 responden (63,3%), sedangkan setelah intervensi sebagian besar mengalami ketidaknyamanan kategori ringan sebanyak 22 responden (73,3%). Hasil uji statistik diperoleh nilai p-value = 0,000 (<0,05), yang menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh massage Tuina pada titik Neiguan (PC6), Zusanli (ST36), Gongsun (SP4), dan Taiyang terhadap penurunan ketidaknyamanan emesis gravidarum. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah massage Tuina efektif sebagai terapi komplementer nonfarmakologis untuk membantu mengurangi ketidaknyamanan emesis gravidarum pada ibu hamil trimester pertama.

Abstract

There are late stage pregnancy complaints that are felt such as low back pain, pelvic pain, pubic symphysis dysfunction, carpal tunnel syndrome, and stress incontinence.(1) Nyeri punggung have anegative impact on daily activities such as when walking, lifting things, climbing stairs, lying on your back, exercising, doing household chores, even at rest and tidur.(3) Stability Ball Exercise is a lumbar dynamic stability exercise to reduce low back pain, increase muscle strength, endurance, balance, and flexibility reflexes.(4) Lumbopelvic exercise is a stretching and strengthening exercise that focuses on strengthening the back and abdominal muscles that function as stabilizers in the lumbopelvic so as to increase the activity ability of functiononal.(5)The purpose of this study was to identify the Effect of Stability Exercise and Lumbopelvic Exercise on Functional Activities in Pregnant Women With Postural Lower Back Pain Conditions. The research method used is quasi-experimental with a time-series experimental design research approach. This study was conducted using the oswestry disability index (ODI) instrument. The results of the study with the anova test obtained differences in the average ODI score before and after the Stability Ball Exercise and lumbopelvic exercise with a sig value of 0.000<0.05, it can be concluded that the variant group has an average ODI score which has a significant effect on increasing functional activity. Can be used as an alternative to gymnastics for pregnant women in services in independent midwifery practice and can improve the quality of comprehensive midwife-based care services.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is also known as menstrual cramps or menstrual pain. In Indonesia, there is a prevalence of dysmenorrhea of 64,5% in adolescents aged 17-24 years. Which affect fatigue, pain in the area below the waist, feelings of anxienty and tension, headaches, confusion, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps and abdominal pain and activity disturbances. The most common symptons felt by midwifery students who experienced dysmenorrhea were low back pain and lower abdominal pain. In English, dysmenorrhea is often referred to as a "painful period" or painful menstruation, menstruation is usually with cramping and pain centered in the lower abdomen. One of the treatments to reduce dysmenorrhea with non- pharmacological therapy is by giving lemon aromatherapy. Limeone is one of the ingredients in lemon aromatherapy oil that can inhibit the prostaglandin working system so that it can reduce pain. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of lemon aromatherapy in reducing dysmenorrhea in teenage girl. This study uses a pre-experimental method with a one-group-pre-test-post-test- design. The sample consisted of 35 respondents with the sampling method using a purposive sampling approach. The results using the dependent T-test (paired sample T-test) obtained a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05). There is an effect of giving lemon aromatherapy to decrease dysmenorrhea in Midwifery students, Faculty of Health Sciences at Bhakti Kencana University. So it is hoped that lemon aromatherapy can be used as a therapy to reduce dysmenorrhea which is a complementary therapy
