Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilakukan dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mitra UMKM terhadap perbaikan kualitas label dan desain logo. Hal ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan daya saing produk dan branding UMKM. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup Focus Group Discussion (FGD), diskusi, dan pendampingan praktis pembuatan label logo kemasan. Pertemuan pertama diawali dengan FGD untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan tantangan UMKM. Tiga pertemuan berikutnya difokuskan pada aspek teknis dan kreatif pembuatan label dan logo, termasuk pengenalan desain dan prinsip-prinsip branding. Pertemuan terakhir berfokus untuk evaluasi hasil dan perencanaan implementasi. Mitra kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah UMKM keripik pisang dan singkong di Desa Benteng berjumlah dua UMKM. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan visualisasi dan informatif label produk, serta peningkatan pemahaman pelaku UMKM tentang pentingnya branding. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan dengan observasi langsung, wawancara berkala, dan adanya pretest dan posttest dari kegiatan yang dilakukan. Dari hasil evaluasi didapatkan hasil peningkatan pemahaman terkait dengan label kemasan dari 75 persen menjadi 85 persen, tingkat kehadiran mitra selama kegiatan sebesar 100 persen, dan kepuasan mitra dalam kegiatan ini mencapai 100 persen. Mitra UMKM juga meyakinkan bahwa hasil penjualan meningkat dan disukai oleh konsumen, khususnya ibu rumah tangga dan anak-anak di Desa Benteng. Model pemberdayaan ini berpotensi untuk direplikasi di daerah lain guna mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal yang berkelanjutan.Abstract: This activity was carried out to increase the understanding of MSME partners on improving the quality of labels and logo designs. This is done to improve product competitiveness and branding of MSMEs. The implementation method includes Focus Group Discussion (FGD), discussion, and practical assistance in making packaging logo labels. The first meeting began with an FGD to identify the needs and challenges of MSMEs. The next three meetings focused on the technical and creative aspects of making labels and logos, including an introduction to design and branding principles. The last meeting focused on evaluating the results and implementation planning. The partners of this service activity are banana and cassava chips MSMEs in Benteng Village, totalling two MSMEs. The results of the service show the visualisation and informativeness of product labels, as well as an increased understanding of MSME players about the importance of branding. Monitoring and evaluation are carried out by direct observation, periodic interviews, and the pretest and posttest of the activities carried out. From the evaluation results, it was found that the increase in understanding related to packaging labels from 75 per cent to 85 per cent, the partner attendance rate during the activity was 100 per cent, and partner satisfaction in this activity reached 100 per cent. MSME partners also assured that sales results increased and were favoured by consumers, especially housewives and children in Benteng Village. This empowerment model has the potential to be replicated in other areas to support sustainable local economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to identify factors that predict the usage behavior of agricultural product e-commerce platform in Indonesia with a comprehensive approach using machine learning algorithms. The research model uses the theory of technology acceptance and use (UTAUT), which consists of variables of social influence, supporting conditions, usage behavior, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, behavioral intention, and supporting conditions. The data in this study were collected throuh an online survey. Model analysis uses a partial least square-structural equation model (PLS-SEM) approach. Furthermore, machine learning algorithms were used to analyze the relationship between elements in the research model. The results showed that behavioral intentions were predicted by performance expectations, effort expectations, social influence, and supporting factors. Agricultural product e-commerce usage behavior is influenced by these behavioral intentions. This study also emphasizes the importance of further research on the application of machine learning algorithms in predicting agricultural e-commerce consumption behavior. Model penelitian menggunakan teori penerimaan dan penggunaan teknologi (UTAUT), yang terdiri dari variabel pengaruh sosial, kondisi pendukung, perilaku penggunaan, harapan kinerja, harapan usaha, niat perilaku, dan kondisi pendukung. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui survei online. Analisis model menggunakan pendekatan partial partial least square-structural equation model (PLS-SEM). Lebih lanjut, algoritma machine learning digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan antar elemen dalam model penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa niat perilaku diprediksi oleh ekspektasi kinerja, ekspektasi usaha, pengaruh sosial, dan faktor pendukung. Perilaku penggunaan platform e-commerce produk pertanian dipengaruhi oleh niat perilaku tersebut. Penelitian ini juga menekankan pentingnya penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai penerapan algoritma machine learning dalam memprediksi perilaku konsumsi e-commerce pertanian. Abstract

Background: The development of the industry, which is increasingly oriented towards increasing competitiveness and quality, is closely related to the ownership of international certification in global competition. Industries that have international certification have a good reputation for improving industrial performance from financial and operational aspects. Purpose: This study aims to analyze research trends, conceptual networks of international certification, and their impact on industrial performance. Design/Methodology/Approach : The approach used in this study is exploratory with the help of bibliometric analysis visualization using r-packages and VOSViewer software. By using various exclusion and inclusion criteria, it was found that there were 450 relevant articles from the Scopus database in the 2014-2024 range with scientific fields, namely management, economics, business, and finance. Findings/Results: The results of the analysis show that there are positive and negative relationships due to the application of international certification. In general, the application of international certification has a positive impact in increasing consumer confidence, increasing the efficiency of company operations, broader market access, improving the image and reputation of the company in the international market. On the other hand, international certification does not always have a positive impact. In some cases, certification has resulted in high costs such as audit costs, training costs, testing, and periodic maintenance costs. In addition, the negative impact of international certification will increase the company's administrative burden, orient the consumer focus on price rather than quality, and not always provide added value. Conclusion: Hopefully, this research leads to the conclusion that international certification research has prospects in the preparation of future stakeholder policies.Originality/State of art: This study fills a gap in the literature by introducing a comprehensive analysis of the effect of international certification on industry performance using bibliometric analysis. A comprehensive bibliometric study of this research trend is under-researched. Different from previous studies that only focus on one industry or certification type, this research conducts analyses across sectors and regions, offering a more in-depth global perspective. Abstract

Business development strategy is very important in supporting the sustainability of existing businesses. One of the application development strategies carried out in the chocolate tempe business in Malang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with analytical techniques, namely the IFE matrix, EFE, SWOT matrix and QSPM. The research took place at the De Tempe Chocolate Company, Malang City. The results obtained by the strategy that can be carried out by the Tempe De Konco Chocolate Company are as follows. The SO strategy at the Tempe De Konco Chocolate Company can be done by adding machines to be able to utilize tempe as a high selling power. In the WO strategy, the Tempe De Konco Chocolate Company can do promotions or marketing through social media so that more visitors will visit the Tempe De Konco Chocolate Company. As for the ST strategy, the Tempe De Konco Chocolate Company can do it by adding product differentiation to make it more varied. For the WT strategy, it can be done by adding cooperation partners.

Abstract

Menurut Riskesdas 2010-2013, persentase penduduk dengan usia lebih dari 10 tahun yang kurang mengonsumsi buah dan sayur masih di atas 90%. Rendahnya persentase anak dalam mengkonsumsi sayur dan buah menjadi dasar untuk mengusulkan kajian efektifitas game edukasi puzzle 3D dalam meningkatkan daya tarik anak serta menganalisis perubahan budaya anak dalam mengonsumsi buah dan sayur.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni literature review, yakni metode untuk mengumpulkan data yang berhubungan dengan sebuah topik penelitian tertentu yang diperoleh dari berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal, internet dan pustaka lain. Hasil dari penelitian, diketahui terdapat keterkaitan antara tingkat pengetahuan gizi terhadap minat anak dalam mengonsumsi buah dan sayur. Selain itu, peranan intervensi media dalam memperkenalkan anak terhadap buah dan sayur juga penting untuk dilakukan, karena dengan penggunaan media yang tepat, anak-anak akan lebih tertarik dalam mengonsumsi buah dan sayur. Dalam hal ini, penggunaan media puzzle 3D dapat menjadi media yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan minat anak-anak dalam mengonsumsi buah dan sayur, karena pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari game ini biasanya lebih mengesankan bagi anak.Keywords: Gasiputri, Efectivitas, fruit and vegetables.

Abstract

The importance of certification is expected to ensure quality, quality, and relevant standards. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence micro and small industries in the food and beverage sector in Indonesia to implement certification and its impact on industry performance. There are 12 factors that influence the industry to apply certification including company age, business entity status, business place status, owner's education level, owner's age, export activity, training activities, joining business associations, assistance from the government, access to credit, capital, and research and development which are analyzed using binary logistic analysis. Meanwhile, the analysis of the impact of certification on performance using a propensity score matching approach includes turnover, profit, and number of workers. This data is sourced from the Central Statistics Agency's 2019 micro and small industry survey with a total of 1,837 micro and small industries in the food and beverage sector that have certification and a group that does not have certification totaling 23,350 industries. Data processing using STATA17 software and microsft excel. Based on the results of the study, there are 9 variables that affect and are significant to the application of certification, while 3 other variables namely export activity variables, capital, and research and development variables have no significant effect. The results of the impact analysis show that certification has no effect on increasing business turnover. While the impact of certification on profit and labor has a positive effect up to Rp7.5 million for industries that have certification.

Abstract

The rapid development of time has reduced the land used by farmers for farming due to development. For that, design a hydroponic system to minimize the land. Chili hydroponic plants are a type of vegetable that has many benefits and is liked by many people. So that hydroponic chili cultivators can produce optimal harvests, a tool is designed using automatic smart control technology using UV lamps. The findings in the field are that there are several steps that must be taken so that hydroponic plants can be more optimal in the results of chili cultivation. The first step is to design a smart plant control automatic tool, then use several sensors including EC sensors, ph sensors, RTC sensors, and ultraviolet lamps. An initial study of the potential benefits to be gained by partners or chili farmers based on the results of field testing is that this technology can maximize harvest time efficiency from manual hydroponic cultivation, which was originally 90 days to 70-80 days. Therefore, the automatic smart plant control system using UV lamps has a harvest speed of 70-80 days, while the manual method can reach 90 days. Thus, it is hoped that the economy of chili cultivators will increase if the smart plant control automatic system is used.

Abstract

Banyak rekomendasi yang akan diberikan kepada Desa Barito dalam memaksimalkan potensi desa yang dimiliki dari berbagai aspek. Antara lain dari aspek ekonomi, ekologi, religi, dan juga aspek sosial budaya masyarakat setempat. Hal ini dilakukan harus berfokus pada peningkatan Sumberdaya Alam, Sumberdaya Manusia, dan juga pemanfaatan teknologi. Pemilihan lokasi yang tepat sasaran, peningkatan kompetensi dan skill masyarakat khususnya keterlibatan generasi muda dalam bergabung Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis), dan juga penggunaan teknologi dalam menghasilkan UMKM Lokal berbasis ekonomi pedesaan. Sehingga dalam jangka panjang dapat menjalin kerjasama dan meyakinkan calon investor baik keterlibatan pemerintah daerah atau pihak swasta yang memberikan keuntungan dan keberlanjutan bagi masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

The agricultural sector contributes almost half of the Indonesian economy. Based on data from BPS in 2019-2020, this sector provides food for more than 270 million people and dominates the source of income in Indonesia by 33.4 million (27.33%). Unfortunately, the high opportunity and prospects are accompanied by a lack of enthusiasm among the younger generation to pursue agricultural careers, resulting in a decline in regeneration. Some influential factors included: (1) the perception that the agricultural sector is less promising in the future, (2) the lack of prestige of relatively low salaries, and (3) the existence and influence of social strata in the community. The current study aimed to investigate students' perceptions and interests, particularly those of agricultural students, concerning their career choices and corroborate the phenomena of the young generation's falling interest in agricultural careers. The participants were 100 agriculture students from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya (FP UB). The study implemented a quantitative approach with a survey method. The data were analyzed using Tableau. The results showed that there were two dominant factors, external and internal, that influenced the career choices of agriculture students. Additionally, the responses from the students based on gender (male and female) were also different. The findings of this study provide a broader view on how to improve students' interest in agricultural careers through external and internal assistance, namely motivation and practical experiences during the academic year.

Abstract

Introduction: This article uses a literature review study approach sourced from previous research and relevant to the topic of this research, namely the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) model. This research aims to (1) analyze the trend of SCOR Model research in the field of Agribusiness (2) identify supply chain management performance indicators (3) identify variables considered in measuring supply chain management performance (4) analyze the effectiveness of SCOR in measuring supply chain management performance, especially in the field of Agribusiness. Methods: This study conducted a literature review of 32 articles from 2014-2023 in the fields of management, business, and agriculture. Data analysis used bibliometrics and Systematic Literature Review sourced from the Scopus database with the help of VOSviewer and R-Studio software. Results: The results showed that the trend in the number of SCOR model studies fluctuated, which was dominated by articles sourced from Scopus with the main keywords that appeared were Supply Chain Management and SCOR Model. All articles carried out four main business processes namely Plan, Source, Make, and deliver with the priority of reliability attributes as the main improvement priority. Conclusion: Most of the supply chain performance levels of the articles analyzed are in the average category.
