Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi, komunikasi dan informasi, berimbas pada munculnya mediasosial,yaitu twitter. Melalui 140 karakter, pengguna dapat mengupdate status/tweets atau melalui aplikasimirip twitter. Twitter merupakan wadah menyalurkan aspirasi dan melihat karakter mahasiswa sertadapat mengekspresikan keadaan yang terjadi. Twitter cukup mempengaruhi perilaku manusia atau masyarakatpada saat ini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh twitter terhadapperilaku kecanduan Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Riau.Penelitian ini menggunakan teori CMC oleh Wood dan Smith dan social media oleh Andreas Kaplan danMichael Haenlein. Metode penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif eksplanasi. Teknik pengumpulan datamenggunakan angket. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 187 responden dan menggunakan teknik random sampling.Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kedua variabel tersebut, peneliti menggunakan analisisregresi linear sederhana. Pengolahan uji kuesioner dilakukan dengan menggunakan program StatistikProduct And Service Solution (SPSS) Windows versi 20.Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai koefisien regresi pada penelitian ini adalah Y = 2,242 + 0,434 X dengantingkat signifikansi 0,000, lebih kecil dari α = 0,05. Artinya terdapat pengaruh twitter terhadap perilakukecanduan mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Riau sebesar 34,5% dan 65,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat strategi komunikasi Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata dalam pengembangan wisata halal di Kota Pekanbaru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dalam 3 cara yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi serta analisis data menggunakan model interactive analysis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa strategi komunikasi dalam pengembangan wisata halal di Pekanbaru terdiri atas empat tahap yakni tahap penelitian yang meliputi pengumpulan informasi, perspektif publik, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keadaan mengenai wisata halal di Kota Pekanbaru. Tahap perencanaan meliputi identifikasi masalah dengan strategi untuk memilih komunikator, pesan, media, sasaran atau target, dan efek atau feedback yang diharapkan. Tahapan implementasi meliputi pembentukan tim yang bertanggung jawab atas pengembangan wisata halal di Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Pekanbaru, tayangan televisi, wawancara di radio, iklan di surat kabar, dan pengiriman tim penyuluhan ke komunitas target sasaran. Tahap evaluasi strategi komunikasi yang meliputi penggunaan media yang efektif dalam penerapan strategi, pencapaian tujuan strategi, pemahaman pesan oleh penerima, dan tindakan audiens setelah menerima dan memahami informasi yang diberikan.Kata Kunci: Strategi komunikasi, wisata halal, komunikator, pesan, media.

Abstract

Memasuki MEA 2015, Indonesia dihadapkan dengan begitu banyak tantangan diberbagai bidangkehidupan termasuk bidang pertahanan dan keamanan. Tingginya tindak kriminalitas di Indonesiakhususnya di Pekanbaru disebabkan lemahnya fungsi lembaga social dan lembaga hokum yang berlakudi masyarakat. Ancaman kejahatan tidak hanya bersumber dari dalam negeri tetapi juga dari negeri. MudahnyaWarga Negara Asing lalu lalang di kota Pekanbaru tanpa adanya aturan yang jelas menyebabkantidak sedikit tindak kejahatan dilakukan justru oleh orang asing. Meskipun demikian, hokum yang berlakutetaplah hokum dimana kejahatan tersebut dilakukan dalam penelitian ini Indonesia. Perempuansebagai pelaku tindak kejahatan memiliki resiko baik psikis maupun fisik yang lebih rentan dibandingkanlaki-laki. Untuk kasus Warga Negara Asing yang menjadi narapidana perempuan di Kota Pekanbaru memrlukanusaha lebih dalam proses adaptasi dengan masyarakat pribumi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodepenelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yangmenyeleksi tiga informan terpilih, yaitu seorang KASUBSI Registrasi Lembaga Permasyarakatan kelas IIA Pekanbaru, dan tiga orang Warga Negara Asing. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi,wawancara mendalam, serta dokumentasi. Untuk teknik analisa data, mengacu pada model interaktifHuberman dan Miles. Untuk pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan tehnik perpanjangan keikutsertaandan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunujukkan bahwa pola komunikasi narapidana perempuanWarga Negara Asing terbagi menjadi dua yaitu, Pola komunikasi internal yang menggunakan skema semuasaluran dimana satu sama lain bisa saling berinteraksi dan mempengaruhi, kemudian pola komunikasieksternal menggunakan skema Y dimana mereka menggunakan perantara sebagai penterjemah. Hambatandalam proses komunikasi terdiri dari hambatan internal dan eksternal.

Abstract

Indonesia is a nation consisting of various ethnicities, races and cultures spread across various islands throughout the archipelago. This ethnic and cultural diversity makes the Indonesian nation rich in culture. With this diversity background, Indonesia will tend to become a nation that is open to immigrants and change. Where the majority of the population is inhabited by indigenous tribes, namely the Malay tribe. Apart from that, Teluk Merbau Village also has a pendang community, namely the Minang tribe. This research aims to determine the strategy of convergence, divergence and excessive accommodation between Minang and Malay ethnic cultures in Teluk Merbau Village, Kubu District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research that focuses on communication accommodation. This research was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation with 7 informants selected using purposive techniques with the criteria of having lived for 5 years, and being 23 years old and willing to be informants in this research. Where four informants are from the Minanag tribe and 3 informants are from the Malay tribe. The analysis technique used follows the concept given by Miles and Huberman. The results of this research show that the convergence strategy used by the Minang ethnic community and the Malay ethnic community in Teluk Merbau Village is adopting the language of the interlocutor, making body movements that indicate interest, adapting the speaking style and not limiting the distance between the interlocutor. The divergence strategy used is making no effort to know and use the other person's language, not using gestures that show interest when communicating, using one's own cultural speaking style, and showing ethnic differences when communicating. The causes of giving the label excessive accommodation are errors in using the language of the interlocutor, excessively assessing the culture of the interlocutor in relation to stereotypes, and maintaining distance when communicating. Abstract

Arak berarak is one of the ceremonies or processions contained in the traditional marriage of the Malay tribe in Lubuk Bendahara Timur Village, Rokan IV Koto District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the communicative situation, communicative events and communicative acts of the arak berarak tradition in Malay tribal weddings in Lubuk Bendahara Timur Village. The research used qualitative method. The research subjects were 7 people who were 3 traditional leaders, 1 bundo kandung, 1 bride's parents, and 2 brides who were selected using purposive technique. The results of the study show that the communicative situation of the arak berarak tradition is carried out in the yard of the bride's residence. While communicative events include a whole series of components that build communication, namely event type, topic, purpose and function, participants, message form, message content, action sequence, interaction rules and interpretation norms in the arak berarak tradition. Abstract

Buru District has 7 tourist destinations, one of the leading destinations is Tanjung Beach. However, in attracting tourist visitors, an effective communication strategy is needed to create tourist attractions in developing tourist attractions. The purpose of this research is to determine communicator strategies, messages, media channels, and audience determination in developing the superior tourist attraction of Tanjung Ambat Beach. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The subjects in this research consist of seven research subjects as informants using purposive techniques. Data collection techniques are through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Hubermen interactive model. The results of this research show that communication strategies are based on the four elements of Lasswell's communication model. Communicator by conveying messages to the audience. The message was conveyed via the Instagram social media channel with the tag line "Come on holiday to Tanjung Ambat Beach". The media strategy used by social media Instagram and Facebook is very effective in promoting tourist destinations. As well as determining the benefits of collaborating with community leaders and youth in holding events to increase tourist visits. Abstract

Phubbing comes from a combination of the terms telephone and snubbing, which is interpreted as an attitude of ignoring the person you are talking to by using a smartphone excessively. The phenomenon of phubbing at the Teluk Kuantan Grand Mosque occurs during recitation where the lecturer is delivering tausiyah but the congregation's attention is more focused on smartphones and this research aims to find out what the motive is for someone to do phubbing and find out what the meaning of phubbing is for phubbers and phubbing victims in interpreting phubbing behavior. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The informants used in this research were 7 congregation members and 2 lecturers who were taken based on accidental techniques. Data collection techniques in this research took the form of in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. For data analysis techniques the author uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. To describe the research results in checking the validity of the data, the author uses triangulation techniques, credibility, extended observations, uses reference materials and conducts member checks. The results of this research show that the motives for phubbing behavior of the congregation at the Teluk Kuantan Grand Mosque are divided into cause and purpose motives. The reason the congregation does phubbing (because of motive) is feeling bored, people around doing phubbing, smartphone addiction and Fomo. Meanwhile, the motive in the future or the goal that a person wants to achieve in carrying out a certain action (in order motive) is to seek pleasure (entertainment) and seek information. In its meaning, the meaning of the congregation regarding the phubbing phenomenon is defined as negative behavior, where a person's behavior who is more focused on his smartphone makes it seem like he doesn't care about his surroundings and ignores other people. Along with increasingly sophisticated technological developments, phubbing behavior is considered a normal phenomenon for both phubbers and phubbing victims. However, phubbing behavior often offends the feelings of the person you are talking to. This is because the interlocutor feels unappreciated when the phubber focuses on his smartphone and tends to ignore direct communication with the interlocutor who is the victim of phubbing. Abstract

Batagak gala penghulu traditional ceremony is a ceremony carried out by the caniago tribe in Nagari Cupak, Gunung Talang District, Solok Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the communicative situation, communicative events and communicative acts in the procession of Batagak gala pangulu traditional ceremony of caniago tribe in Nagari Cupak, Gunung Talang District, Solok Regency. The research used qualitative methods. The research subjects were 4 people who were traditional leaders, 1 bundo kandung, 2 urang pangka and 1 anak pisang who were selected using purposive techniques. The results showed that first, the communicative situation was carried out in the gadang house. Second, communicative events include all the series that make up communication, starting from the type of event, topic, purpose and function, participants, message form, message content, action sequence, interaction rules and interpretation norms and the last communicative act is a person who understands and knows the implementation of traditional ceremony.
