Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan model EJAS dan mengetahui pengetahuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran EJAS, serta menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran EJAS (experiential jelajah alam sekitar) pada mata pelajaran geografi untuk materi pedosfer di SMA N 1 Larangan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre Experimental Design berupa one group pre-test post-test. Populasi pada penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Larangan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling dan terpilih kelas X.E 7. Pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, instrumen tes, angket/kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Analisis hasil data penelitian menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas saphiro-wilk, uji paired samples t-test dan uji n-Gain. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa respons siswa terhadap model pembelajaran EJAS (Experiential Jelajah Alam Sekitar) berdasarkan statistik deskriptif memiliki rata-rata skor sebesar 60,92, dengan kategori yang positif. Uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk menunjukkan bahwa distribusi data pre-test dan post-test normal dengan p-value masing-masing 0,160 dan 0,380 (lebih besar dari 0,05). Uji Paired Samples T-Test mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan model EJAS, dengan perbedaan rata-rata sebesar 13,36, t-value sebesar -12,327, dan p-value 0,000 (< 0,05). Selain itu, uji N-Gain menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,5153, yang termasuk dalam kategori peningkatan sedang. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa model EJAS efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi pedosfer meskipun tingkat efektivitasnya berada pada kategori sedang. Kendala penerapan model EJAS tidak begitu terkendala ketika pelaksanaan, namun perlu ditingkatkannya manajemen waktu pada saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hal tersebut terlihat waktu dua atau tiga jam pelajaran yang dirasa tergesa-gesa untuk melakukan pembelajaran EJAS.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya keterampilan spasial siswa dalam pembelajaran geografi yang dapat ditingkatkan melalui pemanfaatan teknologi WebGIS berbasis My Maps. Teknologi ini memungkinkan siswa untuk mengamati, menganalisis, dan menandai objek geografis secara interaktif. Namun, pengaplikasian teknologi ini masih terkendala oleh pemahaman guru dan keterbatasan perangkat media pembelajaran. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru geografi di MGMP Geografi Kabupaten Rembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, workshop, best practice dan diskusi. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket self-assessment yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi diri saat praktek menggunakan WebGIS berbasis My Maps dan angket kualitas media untuk mengetahui persepsi guru dalam menggunakan media tersebut kemudian di dianalisis menggunakan deskripsi persentase dan diinterpretasikan menggunakan tabel kriteria. Hasil analisis data self-assessment praktik guru pada indikator deteksi sebesar 99,5% berkriteria sangat baik, indikator identifikasi sebesar 98,2% sehingga berkriteria sangat baik, indikator analisis sebesar 100% sehingga berkriteria sangat baik  dan indikator deduksi sebesar 100% sehingga berkriteria sangat baik sedangkan semua indikator sebesar 99,38% sehingga berkriteria sangat baik dan analisis data persepsi penggunaan media  sebesar 99,8% sehingga berkriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

Potensi produksi padi yang besar dengan lingkup wilayah yang luas seperti pada Kabupaten Demak membutuhkan monitoring secara efisien, disisi lain perkembangan teknologi penginderaan jauh memungkinkan monitoring tanaman padi menggunakan citra satelit. Tujuan penelitian ini diantaranya : 1. Memetakan sebaran spasial umur tanaman padi pada Kabupaten Demak sepanjang tahun 2021, 2. Memetakan sebaran spasial produktivitas padi pada lahan sawah di Kabupaten Demak secara temporal dengan menggunakan citra satelit. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengolahan citra penginderaan jauh. pembuatan model dilakukan dengan analisis regresi antara indeks vegetasi dan data produktivitas lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan distribusi fase tumbuh tanaman padi secara temporal, luasan fase tumbuh padi terbesar yakni fase Generatif 1 (6-9 MST) seluas 55163,92 Ha pada Bulan Juni 2021. Perhitungan estimasi produktivitas padi dilakukan dengan NDVI, produktivitas rata-rata tertinggi terdapat pada Kecamatan Kebonagung sebesar 6,97 Ton/Ha pada periode panen Juni. Penerapan model estimasi tingkat produksi padi menggunakan NDVI pada Kabupaten Demak menghasilkan rata-rata simpangan sebesar 1,00 ton/ha. Penerapan model untuk perhitungan jumlah produksi padi menunjukkan, pada tahun 2021 jumlah produksi padi Kabupaten Demak sebesar 418.878,31 ton. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pemetaan tingkat produktivitas tanaman padi menggunakan NDVI memiliki tingkat akurasi yang lebih baik karena tingkat simpangan hasilnya yang lebih kecil ketika dibandingkan dengan data lapangan.

Abstract

Abstract: The preservation of the calendar of season must be maintained as the evidence of culture whose its continuity must not to be lost. This research aims to undertand and analyze the system of inheritance of local values regarding the calendar of season among local fisherman community in Rembang Resident. The research was conducted with qualitative study case approach. The data collection of this research was conducted using in-depth interview, FGD (Focus Group Discussion), observation, as well as the library study and documentation. The data analysis technique was utilized with the Miles and Huberman model analysis technique which includes three stages, such as data reduction, data presetation, and drawing conclusion. The result shows that the knowledge of calendar of season was obtained from many sources, that is from parents, grandfather, uncle, in-law, and fellow fisherman. The inheritance process was done through three transmission routes, that is vertical, oblique, and horizontal transmission. Verbal transmission and direct practical teaching is used as inheritance method when they go to sea. In practice, the inheritance process is carried out verbally and not documented. The passing on of knowledge of the calendar of season aims to help the generation in running their activities on the sea.Keywords: Inheritance; Local Wisdom; Season Calendar.Abstrak: Kelestarian dari kalender musim harus tetap dijaga sebagai sebuah bukti budaya yang keberlangsungannya tidak boleh hilang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis sistem pewarisan nilai-nilai lokal tentang kalender musim pada kelompok nelayan lokal di Kabupaten Rembang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, FGD (Focus Group Discussion), observasi, serta studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis model Miles and Huberman yang meliputi tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan kalender musim didapatkan dari banyak sumber yaitu dari orang tua, kakek, paman, mertua, dan teman sesama nelayan. Proses pewarisan dilakukan melalui tiga jalur transmisi yaitu melalui transmisi vertikal, transmiri miring, dan transmisi horizontal. Metode pewarisan yang digunakan yaitu penyampaian secara lisan dan pengajaran/praktik langsung ketika diajak melaut. Proses pewarisan tersebut dalam praktiknya dilakukan secara verbal/lisan dan tidak terdokumentasikan. Pewarisan pengetahuan kalender musim bertujuan untuk membantu generasi tersebut dalam menjalankan aktivitasnya dalam melaut.Kata Kunci: Pewarisan; Kearifan Lokal; Kalender Musim.

Abstract

Human activity around mangrove areas can harm their health, despite their economic benefits to local communities.  A study of the Comal estuary found that increased human activity was not matched by efforts to protect the mangroves. This lack of awareness is likely due to a lack of information about the importance of mangroves and their vulnerability.  The study used Sentinel-2A and field measurements to assess vulnerability based on factors like mangrove density, salinity, and distance from the shore. That factor were used to generate vulnerability value based on weighted overlay analysis (vulnerability index). The results showed that the eastern part of the estuary was highly vulnerable to wave damage (abrasion) due to its location. In contrast, the central part of the estuary had low vulnerability due to its denser and healthier mangroves. These findings were confirmed by field observations: areas with low vulnerability had dense, healthy mangroves, while areas with high vulnerability had damaged and broken trees. The existence of the vurnerability class can be used as a recommendation for further mangrove management. Restoration can be applied in areas of high mangrove vulnerability. The area has a very low mangrove density due to the large number of mangroves damaged by abrasion, so replanting mangroves in the area is highly recommended. Mangrove planting also needs to require great attention, especially in the area has a problem in the form of large ocean waves, so the construction of a breakwater with a “Shark Tooth” formation is recommended

Abstract

Background: Kemajuan teknologi pada era industri 4.0 yang merupakan era digital menuntut segala informasi untuk mudah diakses termasuk informasi spasial. Salah satunya adalah informasi tentang pengunaan lahan di suatu wilayah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi perangkat kelurahan dalam mengelola data dan peta penggunaan lahan di wilayahnya. Metode: Mitra kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah perangkat Kelurahan Pakintelan, Kelurahan Sekaran dan Kelurahan Patemon. Peserta bimtek sejumlah enam orang perangkat dari ketiga kelurahan tersebut. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan bimbingan teknis (bimtek) untuk mengelola data dan peta penggunaan lahan. Hasil: Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan perangkat kelurahan dalam mengelola data dan peta penggunaan lahan di wilayah masing-masing. Selain itu tersedianya peta penggunaan lahan terbaru untuk ketiga kelurahan. Kesimpulan: Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan perangkat kelurahan dalam mengelola data dan peta penggunaan lahan dapat membantu dalam mewujudkan tertib administrasi di tingkat kelurahan di Kota Semarang.

Abstract

The coastal areas of Semarang City have experienced land conversion due to development activities that threaten mangrove sustainability in recent years. The urgency of this research is the need to monitor mangrove density levels to be used as input in its management. The purpose of this study is to analyze changes in mangrove density levels and the occurrence of abrasion in time series using the Google Earth Engine cloud computing model. The research method used visual interpretation and spectral transformation of NDVI and MNDWI to identify spatial distribution, mangrove density and abrasion. The results showed that there was a significant decrease in mangrove area in 2019-2023 with an area of 111.74 hectares. Furthermore, the level of mangrove density is quite dynamic, especially for high density with a decrease in area from 2019 - 2023 with an area of 260.25 hectares, besides that the decline in high density mangroves also occurred in 2015 - 2023 with a decrease in area of 38.73 hectares. Abrasion in the research location was identified in 2 coastal villages, namely Mangunharjo Village with abrasion along 0.88 km (2015 - 2023) and Tugurejo Village with abrasion along 1.04 km, where both areas also experienced a decrease in mangrove area at a high-density level. In conlusion, there has been a decrease in the area and density of mangroves in the study site, one of which has an impact on abrasion.

Abstract

Social Studies (IPS) education plays a crucial role in understanding local wisdom as a cultural resource that supports sustainable development and is responsive to social contexts. This study explores the integration of local wisdom into elementary school curricula and learning practices using ethnographic qualitative methods, including in-depth interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and document analysis. The results indicate that local wisdom is embedded in local languages and dialects, in folklore, and in arts and crafts. However, challenges such as a lack of teacher training and limited resources were also identified. This study emphasizes the importance of well-planned pedagogical strategies to develop students' character and social attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to design an inquiry-based learning model that integrates local wisdom about mangroves into primary school Social Studies to foster students' social attitudes. Employing a Research and Development approach with the 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate), this research involved 6 primary school teachers and 60 fifth-grade students from coastal schools in Brebes Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected through needs analysis, expert validation, observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The resulting model systematically integrates seven-stage inquiry syntax with mangrove socio-ecological contexts, explicitly oriented toward developing cooperation, empathy, and responsibility. Expert validation by three specialists yielded an average feasibility score of 4.35 out of 5, indicating a very high level of validity. Limited trials revealed measurable improvements in students' social attitudes: cooperation increased by 18%, responsibility by 17%, and empathy by 15%. Qualitative data confirmed enhanced student engagement, collaboration, and environmental awareness. Teachers reported that the model effectively connected learning with students' real-life contexts, although they acknowledged the need for further training and assistance. This study contributes theoretically to contextual Social Studies pedagogy and, in practice, offers a sustainable instructional model for character education in coastal primary schools. The novelty lies in the systematic integration of inquiry-based learning, local mangrove wisdom, and explicit assessment of social attitudes within a single instructional design.
