Abstract

Nopita Sari (09070024), Childrens Achievement and Learning Strategies From Poor Families In SMAN 3 Lengayang South Coastal District. Thesis Sociology Program Educational Studies High School Teaching and Education ( STKIP ) Sumatran PGRI weight , Padang , 2013This research  examines about learning strategies achieving children from poor families in SMAN 3 Lengayang South Coastal District. In the learning process necessary facilities which sometimes costly, consequences for parents who are unable to fulfill that facilities, then the child will be late in the learning process, but not for children who excel from poor families that the author found in SMAN 3 Lengayang. It means that they can still get the achievement even though the economic conditions that limited the strategies they do. This study aims to describe the learning strategies achieving children in SMAN 3 Lengayang South Coastal District and describe the obstacles encountered achieving children from poor families in SMAN 3 Lengayang South Coastal District.The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, which is trying to approach social reality that wish to study in depth and using qualitative data in the form of words and deeds. Informants of this study are the students who excel from poor families in SMAN 3 Lengayang South Coastal District. The selection of informants in this study using purposive sampling technique. Data used primary and secondary. Data collection techniques used were observation , interviews, documentation. The unit of analysis is the individual. Analysis of the data used includes three stages: 1 ) data reduction 2 ) presenting data 3 ) conclusion drawing or verification.Results of this study showed that children performed a variety of strategies for learning achievement such as 1 ) borrow books, among the others: the senior who has graduated, borrow books at the library, borrow books to a different school friends, borrow the book to the teacher 2 ) to repeat the lesson the teacher at the school, 3 ) for the materials and discuss the problems of the Internet, 4 ) form a study group. Then the constraints faced by students who excel , such as 1 ) divide difficult time in learning 2 ) lack of pleasure when one of my friends active in the learning process 3 ) is ridiculed by classmates for bringing lunch ( rice ) to school .

Abstract

Nicaragua has two major problem on its electricity sector. Nicaragua is the country with lowest electricity coverage rate in the region and high dependence on using fossil as source of electrical energy. In the other side Nicaragua did not have enough development fund because of the accumulation of political conflict in the country. This research will describe about the influence of the Inter-American Development Bank’s (IADB) assistance that applied in a program called Programa Nacional de Electrificación Sostenible y Energia Renovable (PNESER) for the development of the electricity sector in Nicaragua.As for the methode used in the study is qualitative research. The data obtained from literature in the form of books, documents, journals, newspapers, internet and other media that related to the issues. To analyze the case, this research will be based on the perspective of Structuralism and Dependency theory.This research show that IADB’s assistance can bring several positive effect for Nicaragua’s electricity sector. Within a few years, the sector modernized and improve the electricity coverage in the country. The Assistance that also earmarked for the development of renewable energy sources has also significantly increase the production of renewable energy sources in the country. But all of this positive effect cause another problem, it makes Nicaragua become a country that have high dependence on foreign party.Keyword: Electricity Sector, PNESER, Production Growth, Electricity Coverage, Renewable Energy, Dependency

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine "the parents understanding of the concept of early childhood education at TK Al-Kholidiyah Sedinginan Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir". Results of this study are expected to be useful as knowledge and as a discourse of knowledge and learning in knowing about the analysis of the parents understanding of the concept of early childhood education at TK Al-Kholidiyah Sedinginan Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir. The population in this study are all the parents that the student's mother in TK Al-Kholidiyah Sedinginan Tanah Putih by 84 mothers of students. The sample used in this study were 46 respondents in TK Al-Kholidiyah Sedinginan Tanah Putih. The data collection techniques that scale in Likert Scale. Data were analyzed using trial scale and statistical methods using SPSS for Window Ver.16.0 The results of data can be seen from the percentage of the overall indicator results the parents understanding of the concept of early childhood education at TK Al-Kholidiyah Sedinginan Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir with a percentage 74.18% and classified in the category of "good". The conclusion of this study parental understanding of the concept of early childhood education at TK Al-Kholidiyah Sedinginan Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir classified in both categories with pesentase 74.18%Keywords: understanding, parents, pre-school, early childhood

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan tipe perilaku faking pada proses wawancara kerja yang dominan ditampilkan oleh kandidat di PT. X. Penelitian  kuantitatif ini dikembangkan dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dengan melibatkan  69 orang kandidat yang melamar di PT. X. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui melalui skala sikap perilaku faking yang dikemukakan oleh Levashina & Campion (2007). Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  tipe perilaku faking yang paling sering ditunjukkan oleh kandidat dalam penelitian ini adalah tipe Slight Image Creation dan tipe perilaku faking yang paling jarang ditunjukkan adalah Ingratiation. Penelitian ini bermanfaat sebagai gambaran bagi para pewawancara untuk mengenali tipe perilaku faking yang ditampilkan oleh kandidat dalam proses wawancara kerja. Pengumpulan data untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat disertai dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Kata kunci :Perilaku menipu, Wawancara, Manajemen Kesan AbstractThis study attempts to describe the type of faking behaviour in the job interview process that is dominant by candidates at PT.  X. This quantitative research is developed by descriptive approach, involving 69 candidates applying at PT.  X. The Research data were collected by using a rating scale of faking behaviour stated by Levashina & Campion (2007).  The results of the analysis of research data indicate the type of faking behavior that is most often shown by candidates in this study is Slight Image Creation and the type of faking behavior that is most rarely shown is Ingratiation. This research is useful for interviewers to support the type of faking behaviour shown by candidates in the job interview process. For further research, data collection is expected to be accompanied by in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. Keywords : Faking behaviour, Interview, Impression Management

Abstract

In classroom interaction, university teacher or lecturer is required to be a facilitator to lead discussion. The university teacher or lecturer must transfer knowledge and ensure that the learning process is active and the material being taught is well received. Students must also take a role in the interactions in the classroom which are intended to foster confidence and understanding in the learning process. The objective of this research is to find out what type of teacher talk and student talk that occurred during virtual linguistics lectures interaction. In this research, the researcher used Foreign Language Interaction (FLINT) as the conceptual framework. Meanwhile, this research was conducted qualitatively. Data were collected through video-recoding of two virtual linguistics lectures in a university in Indonesia. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman (1994) which included data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion. The findings revealed that teacher and student talk were found during the two lectures with teacher talk which was more dominant than student talk. Teacher talk consisted of some categories, including giving information, giving directions, praise and encouragement, asking question, correct without rejection, criticizes students’ behavior and uses the idea of the student. Meanwhile, student talk comprised student response initiate and student response specific. In conclusion, teacher dominates the interaction in virtual classroom and has an important role in leading the class and directing students to actively interact.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine whether there is an influence of digital literacy on the digital ethical values of students in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung. In this research, researchers used a quantitative approach with the Ex Post Facto method. The location of this research was IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung. The population of this study was 260 students in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program in 2023, then a sample of 155 students was obtained. The data collection technique used was an online questionnaire/questionnaire via Google Form. The data analysis used is the analysis prerequisite test, namely the normality test and homogeneity test, then hypothesis testing using the regression equation and t test. The results of this research are that there is a significant influence between digital literacy and the digital ethical values of students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung. Based on the t value, the t-count value = 1.943 and the t-table value = 1.65474 (1.943 1.65474). ) based on these values can be categorized as significant, so that there is an influence of digital literacy on digital ethical values.

Abstract

Departemen EM memiliki peran krusial dalam memastikan mesin berfungsi optimal untuk produksi yang efisien dan berkualitas. Namun, departemen ini sering menghadapi masalah overbudget overtime, di mana biaya lembur untuk pemeliharaan dan perbaikan peralatan selalu melebihi anggaran yang ditetapkan yaitu sebesar $2,500 per bulan dan $30,000 per tahun. Kurangnya perencanaan perawatan, keterbatasan tenaga kerja, dan alokasi anggaran untuk produksi menjadi faktor utama. Dengan menerapkan Lean Management seperti JIT, VSM, dan optimalisasi sumber daya manusia, perusahaan berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan menurunkan biaya lembur. JIT meningkatkan pemeliharaan preventif dan mengurangi biaya darurat, VSM mengidentifikasi pemborosan, sementara optimalisasi sumber daya manusia mengurangi kebutuhan lembur dan meningkatkan produktivitas. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penerapan Lean Management dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dalam pengelolaan biaya lembur, pemeliharaan peralatan, serta memastikan kepatuhan anggaran yang sudah di tetapkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar mahasiswa berdasarkan gender pada mahasiswa Jurusan PAI FTIK IAIN Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Data nilai hasil belajar mahasiswa yang berasal dari nilai UAS. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswaJurusanPAIFTIKIAINPontianak.Adapun sampeldalampenelitianiniadalah mahasiswa semester V terdiri dari empat kelas Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Berdasarkan hasil analsis data uji independent sample t-tes dengan menngunakan analisis program SPSS versi 20.0 didapatkan niai signifikansi 2 tailed 0,007 < 0,05 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar mahasiswa berdasarkan gender pada mahasiswa semester V Jurusan PAI FTIK IAIN Pontianak.

Abstract

Islamic education plays an important role in shaping moderate understanding and attitudes in diversity. Various parties must participate in efforts to create social harmony and peace, so it is important to optimize religious moderation among Muslims. Islamic education plays an important role in shaping understanding and moderate attitudes towards religion. Through quantitative methods, this paper describes the perceptions of students and lecturers towards religious moderation in national insight. Researchers have set four indicators of understanding religious moderation as a reference in obtaining and analyzing data accurately, as follows: 1) having a national commitment, 2) not disturbing others and always respecting other religious opinions, 3) not causing violence both verbal and non-verbal. 4) always appreciating the diversity of local culture. These four indicators have been used to measure or analyze the level of understanding of students and lecturers in the Islamic Education Study Program, IAIN Pontianak about the concept of religious moderation. It can be assumed that the level of understanding of students and lecturers can affect their attitudes and behavior in practicing religious teachings. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education and Character Education can maintain the pillars of moderate character building, emphasizing aspects of tolerance, local wisdom, non-violence, and commitment to the nation, not the other way around, exclusive Islam that even tends to be extreme. This paper contributes to the model of academic-religious development based on religious moderation in higher education. This is important to prevent extremism by strengthening religious practices based on the essence of religious teachings.Pendidikan Islam berperan penting dalam membentuk membentuk pemahaman dan sikap moderat dalam beragam. Berbagai pihak harus berpartisipasi dalam upaya menciptakan harmoni dan perdamaian sosial, sehingga penting untuk mengoptimalkan moderasi beragama di kalangan umat Islam. Pendidikan Islam memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk pemahaman dan sikap moderat terhadap agama. Melalui metode kuantitaif, tulisan ini memaparkan terkait persepsi mahaiswa dan dosen terhadap moderasi beragama dalam wawasan kebangsaan. Peneliti telah menetapkan empat indikator tentang pemahaman moderasi beragama sebagai acuan dalam memperoleh dan menganalisis data secara akurat, sebagai berikut: 1) memiliki komitmen kebangsaan, 2) tidak mengusik orang lain dan senantiasa menghargai pendapat agama lainnya, 3) tidak menimbulkan kekerasan baik yang bersifat verbal maupun non verbal. 4) senantiasa menghargai kebinekaragaman budaya lokal. Keempat indikator tersebut telah digunakan untuk menakar atau menganalisis tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa dan dosen di Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam, IAIN Pontianak tentang konsep moderasi beragama. Hal ini dapat diasumsikan bahwa tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa dan dosen dapat memengaruhi sikap dan prilakunya dalam mempraktikkan ajaran agama. Oleh karena itu Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Pendidikan Karakter dapat mempertahankan pilar pembentukan karakter moderat, menekankan aspek toleransi, kearifan lokal, anti kekerasan, dan komitmen terhadap bangsa, bukan sebaliknya, Islam yang eksklusif bahkan cenderung ekstrim. Tulisan ini berkontribusi pada model pengembangan akademik- keagamaan berbasis moderasi beragama di perguruan tinggi. Hal ini penting untuk mencegah ekstremisme dengan memperkuat praktik keagamaan berdasarkan esensi ajaran agama.

Abstract

Issues Examined in this article: Firstly, the level of comprehension and awareness among teachers at MAN Bengkayang regarding the significance of Classroom Action Research (CAR) in enhancing the quality of education; secondly, the obstacles encountered by teachers at MAN Bengkayang in conducting CAR; thirdly, the identification of effective strategies to improve the capacity of teachers at MAN Bengkayang in implementing AI-based CAR; and fourthly, the extent to which AI-based CAR training programs contribute to the enhancement of teachers' professional competencies at MAN Bengkayang. This article is derived from a community engagement initiative grounded in research utilizing the Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology. The findings are as follows: first, teachers at MAN Bengkayang exhibit a limited understanding of Classroom Action Research (CAR). Second, teachers at MAN Bengkayang face significant challenges in balancing teaching responsibilities with administrative tasks, which impede the effective implementation of CAR. Third, effective strategies to enhance teachers' competencies in conducting AI-based CAR should encompass technological training, fostering collaboration among teachers, leveraging data for evaluation and feedback, integrating technology into the curriculum, and ensuring the availability of adequate infrastructure. Fourth, AI-based CAR training programs have substantially improved the professional competencies of teachers at MAN Bengkayang. Before participating in the AI-based CAR training, the professional competency of teachers at MAN Bengkayang was assessed at 68.12%, categorized as "adequate." Following the training, this competency level increased to 90.1%, categorized as "excellent."Isu yang dibahas dalam artikel ini: Pertama, tingkat pemahaman dan kesadaran guru di MAN Bengkayang terhadap pentingnya Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Kedua, hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru di MAN Bengkayang dalam melaksanakan PTK. Ketiga, identifikasi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru di MAN Bengkayang dalam menerapkan PTK berbasis AI. Keempat, sejauh mana program pelatihan PTK berbasis AI berkontribusi pada peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru di MAN Bengkayang. Artikel ini berasal dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang didasarkan pada penelitian dengan menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Temuan penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: Pertama, Guru di MAN Bengkayang menunjukkan pemahaman yang terbatas tentang Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Kedua, Guru di MAN Bengkayang menghadapi tantangan besar dalam menyeimbangkan tanggung jawab mengajar dengan tugas administratif, yang menghambat pelaksanaan PTK secara efektif. Ketiga, Strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan PTK berbasis AI meliputi: pelatihan teknologi, mendorong kolaborasi antar guru, memanfaatkan data untuk evaluasi dan umpan balik, mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam kurikulum, serta memastikan ketersediaan infrastruktur yang memadai. Keempat, Program pelatihan PTK berbasis AI secara signifikan meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di MAN Bengkayang. Sebelum mengikuti pelatihan PTK berbasis AI, kompetensi profesional guru di MAN Bengkayang dinilai sebesar 68,12% (kategori "cukup"). Setelah pelatihan, tingkat kompetensi ini meningkat menjadi 90,1% (kategori "sangat baik").
