Abstract

Purpose – To assess in-service Teacher Professional Education (Pendidikan Profesi Guru, PPG) students’ perceptions of lecturer competence in providing learning services in the in-service PPG program at the Teacher Education Institute (LPTK) of IAIN Pontianak. The research rationale refers to the demands of the 21st century, Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), and the utilization of the Learning Management System (LMS). Design/methods/approach – Descriptive cross-sectional quantitative survey; 215 students were invited, 177 valid responses were analyzed (≈82,3%). Data were collected through a questionnaire. Descriptive analysis summarized domain scores; construct validity was evaluated with PLS (outer loadings ≥ 0,50) and reliability with Cronbach’s alpha (SPSS 22.0). Findings – All 27 items met the loading threshold. High reliability: pedagogical α=0,907 (9 items), professional α=0,888 (7), personality α=0,884 (6), social α=0,839 (5). Perceptions of lecturer competence “very good”: pedagogical 93,09%; professional 92,94%; personality 93,53%; social 93,08%. Item diagnostics highlighted areas for improvement: diversity of assessment, integration of research findings, consistency of words–actions, as well as lecturers’ closeness in recognizing students. Research implications – Program priorities: assessment literacy, research-based teaching, professional role modeling, and relational lecturer–student practices; calibration of assessment aligned with learning contracts/indicators; optimize the LMS so that the admin role is supportive, not substitutive.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between public understanding of profit-sharing mechanisms and their level of trust in making saving decisions in Islamic banks. Using a literature review method, the research examines various scholarly sources such as journals, books, research reports, and regulations related to Islamic banking. The findings indicate that profit-sharing mechanisms, particularly the Mudharabah and Musharakah contracts, hold significant potential in attracting customers because they offer ethical alternatives aligned with Sharia principles. However, their effectiveness greatly depends on the level of Islamic financial literacy within society, as well as public perceptions of fairness, transparency, and risk management in their implementation. In addition, trust in Islamic banks built through service quality, oversight by the Sharia Supervisory Board, and public education plays a crucial role in influencing customer loyalty and saving decisions. The study also highlights several challenges, including low financial literacy, regulatory limitations, credit risk, and moral hazard, all of which can hinder the optimal application of the profit-sharing model. Overall, the findings emphasize the importance of enhancing Islamic financial literacy, strengthening governance, and promoting product innovation to build greater public trust and encourage wider participation in the Islamic financial system.

Abstract

Sheet jam is a modification of spreadable jam which has a sheet shape that fits the surface of the bread. This research aims to evaluate the effect of replacing granulated sugar with alternative sweeteners, fructose syrup, kelulut honey, and liquid palm sugar, on the physicochemical and sensory characteristics of young coconut meat sheet jam. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with four treatments (P0: granulated sugar, P1: liquid fructose syrup, P2: kelulut honey, P3: liquid palm sugar) and six replications, so there were 24 experiments. The data obtained will be analyzed using Analysis of Variant (ANOVA) then followed by the Honestly Significant Difference (BNJ) test at the 5% level. Meanwhile, the hedonic test data was tested using the Kruskal Wallis test. The results showed that the formulation with fructose syrup provided the best physicochemical characteristics for young coconut meat sheet jam, with a water content of 8.30%, reducing sugar 26.77%, color L 30.78%, color a 8.17%, and color b 11.52%. Sensorily, jam sweetened with fructose syrup obtained the best hedonic scores for taste (3.80: like), aroma (3.66: like), color (4.00: prefer), and texture (4.23: prefer like)

Abstract

The implementation of the Sale and Purchase Binding Agreement (PPJB) in housing transactions frequently gives rise to legal disputes due to delays in the handover of housing units and discrepancies between the agreed specifications and the delivered buildings. This study aims to analyze the implementation of developers' legal liability for breaches of contract arising from the execution of the PPJB. The research employed an empirical juridical method using a descriptive qualitative approach. Primary data were collected through interviews, while secondary data were obtained from legislation, legal literature, and scientific journals. The findings indicate that developers are legally obligated to fulfill all contractual obligations stipulated in the PPJB. Delays in the handover of housing units and discrepancies in building specifications constitute breaches of contract that give rise to legal liability in the form of performance fulfillment and compensation under the Indonesian Civil Code, Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, and Law Number 1 of 2011 concerning Housing and Settlement Areas. Strengthening developers' compliance with contractual obligations and enhancing government supervision are essential to ensure legal certainty and consumer protection in housing transactions.
