Abstract

This research explores the integration of honesty and responsibility into thematic learning at MIS Nurul Yaqin Sambas and SD Inpres 6 Lolu, Palu City. Thematic learning, which combines various subjects through real-life contexts, provides a unique opportunity to instill character values in students. A qualitative case study approach was used, with data collected via observation, interviews, and document analysis. Observations focused on students' behaviors, while semi-structured interviews explored teachers' and students' experiences. Thematic analysis was applied, followed by data triangulation to ensure validity. The findings show that incorporating honesty and responsibility into thematic learning significantly improved students' awareness and behavior related to these values. Students demonstrated increased honesty and responsibility in their daily activities, while teachers played a crucial role by creating a supportive environment, using real-life examples, and recognizing positive behavior. This study suggests that integrating character values into thematic learning is an effective approach for elementary education, fostering students with strong moral and responsible character traits.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganilisis peran keluarga dalam satuan pendidikan di Desa Binangga Kecamatan Marawola Kabubapen Sigi. Artikel ini merupakan hasil kegiatan pengabdian dalam rangka memberdayakan masyarakat untuk mengoptimalkan peran mereka bagi keberlangsungan pendidikan anak melalui pelibatan keluarga khususnya dalam menghadapi kegiatan pembelajaran siswa di rumah pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Pada masa pandemi, pemerintah Indonesia khususnya Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi mengambil kebijakan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran siswa yang sebelumnya dilaksanakan secara luring di sekolah dialihkan menjadi kegiatan pembelajaran daring di rumah. Hal ini menempatkan aspek pendidikan formal dan informal menjadi satu kesatuan sIstem, yakni melibatkan peran keluarga dan pihak sekolah secara bersama-sama. Kondisi tersebut mendorong semua pihak baik keluarga siswa maupun pihak sekolah untuk saling bekerjasama sehingga terbangun komunikasi yang efektif dalam pendampingan belajar sekolah anak di rumah. Beban dan tanggung jawab keluarga terhadap kebutuhan belajar anak dalam hal ini menjadi lebih besar dibandingkan pada masa normal sebelumnya. Komunikasi antara pihak sekolah dan keluarga siswa dengan demikian menjadi persoalan krusial yang harus dilakukan sebaik-baiknya. Sasaran kegiatan atau yang menjadi mitra pengabdian adalah masyarakat Desa Binangga Kecamatan Marawola Kabupaten Sigi di Sulawesi Tengah. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan penyuluhan sebagai bentuk sosialisasi Permendikbud Nomor 30 Tahun 2017 didukung dengan kegiatan pendampingan terhadap peran keluarga dalam pembelajaran anak di rumah, khususnya pada masa pandemi Covid-19 mengingat kegiatan belajar anak lebih banyak dilakukan di rumah.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana guru membuat dan menerapkan modul ajar kurikulum merdeka dalam pembelajaran pancasila di kelas Vll A. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru harus memulai dengan menyusun modul, mengetahui strategi, mengembangkan modul ajar, menyiapkan evaluasi, dan memenuhi dua syarat minimal saat mengembangkan modul ajar kurikulum merdeka. Guru di SMP Negeri 13 Palu telah memiliki kemampuan untuk mengembangkan modul ajar karena modul yang telah disusun oleh guru telah sesuai dengan panduan kementerian. Mereka juga telah belajar menyampaikan materi di kelas, memberi kesempatan kepada peserta didik, membuat argumen tentang materi yang akan disampaikan, dan memberi respon atau umpan balik kepada peserta didik agar proses pembelajaran menjadi menarik. Guru menyesuaikan modul ajar dengan konteks, karakteristik, dan kebutuhan siswa, sehingga siswa tidak bosan belajar.

Abstract

This study investigates the potential of a deep learning pedagogical approach to significantly improve how Pancasila Philosophy is implemented and understood within the Pancasila Education curriculum at a Christian Junior High School in Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. Recognizing the importance of Pancasila in shaping Indonesia's national identity and character, this study explores the design, implementation, and evaluation of a specific deep learning intervention. This intervention was carefully tailored to fit the unique educational context of a Christian junior high school setting, taking into account the integration of faith-based values and the nuances of Indonesia's local cultural landscape. This study seeks to determine the effectiveness of this deep learning strategy in fostering not just a superficial understanding, but a deep and internalized understanding of the core principles of Pancasila among students. By analyzing student engagement, levels of understanding, and attitude changes, the findings aim to provide valuable insights for educators and policymakers. Ultimately, this study seeks to contribute to the development of a more impactful pedagogical model that can strengthen the integration of Pancasila Philosophy across secondary education in Indonesia, particularly within the unique opportunities and constraints presented by faith-based learning environments.

Abstract

The article discusses Indonesia's education system and its implementation of the "Merdeka" curriculum, based on Ki Hadjar Dewantara's educational philosophy. This philosophy emphasizes guiding children's natural abilities toward safety and happiness while considering the laws of nature and the laws of the times. Education should be adapted to children's needs within their cultural and evolving context. However, preliminary findings indicated that teachers, especially those teaching Pancasila and Civic Education, still encounter difficulties implementing differentiated learning approaches. The study examines how Ki Hajar Dewantara's educational principles are applied through differentiated learning in Pancasila and Civic Education at junior high schools in Palu City, focusing on developing appropriate modules. This qualitative study used observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection, followed by data analysis. The research analyzed teachers' understanding and implementation of these concepts. Results showed that junior high school teachers in Palu City who teach Pancasila and Civic Education understand differentiated learning principles but need improvement in a few areas, including differentiated worksheets for group students according to their learning readiness and styles

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of parenting stress experienced by mothers. This research is a type of descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This study used a data collection tool in the form of Parenting Stress Index Short Form (PSI-short form). The subjects used in this study were mothers who live in various regions in Indonesia who were taken by simple random sampling. Data analysis in this study uses percentage techniques. The results obtained in this study describe the stress of parenting in the high category of 1.4%, the medium category of 38.02%, and the low category of 60.5%. Based on the results of the stress level, it shows that the majority of respondents are still able to control their response to the stressors they experience in parenting. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran mengenai stres pengasuhan yang dialami oleh para ibu. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat pengumpul data berupa Parenting Stress Index Short Form (PSI-short form). Subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah para ibu yang berdomisili diberbagai wilayah di Indonesia yang di ambil dengan cara simple random sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik persentase. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menggambarkan kondisi stres pengasuhan pada kategori tinggi sebesar 1,4%, kategori sedang 38,02%, dan kategori rendah 60,5%. Berdasarkan hasil tingkatan stres tersebut menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden masih dapat mengendalikan respon terhadap stressor dalam mengasuh anak yang dialaminya.

Abstract

This research examines the relationship between Islam as a world religion and Patuntung as a traditional religion adhered to by the Ammatoa indigenous community in Kajang, South Sulawesi. The relationship between these two religions is not only oppositional or harmonious but also dynamic and negotiating. This research uses a qualitative method with a 'New Ethnography' approach, which pays attention to three aspects: self-reflection, polyvocality, and testimony. The findings of this research show that the meeting between Islam and Patuntung produces a hybrid reality, namely Sallang, which is basically a different Islam and another Patuntung. Sallang is a new reality that emerged from the meeting between Islam and Patuntung. This is clearly seen from Ammatoa's belief that the Koran is 40 juz, 10 juz revealed in Kajang, and 30 juz revealed in Mecca. This research provides a new contribution to the study of the relationship between world religions and indigenous religions, especially in Indonesia.

Abstract

After participating in learning activities, students measure and assess their learning ability. This process is verified through testing, and the learning outcomes are expressed in symbols, such as numbers, letters, or sentences that describe the attained learning outcomes. In order to improve students' 21st-century learning abilities in Civic Education subjects in the eighth grade at Bukal Public Junior High School No. 8, two goals of this research are to: (1) describe how 4C skills are implemented; and (2) describe the factors that facilitate or impede the implementation of 4C skills in Civic Education subjects in the eighth grade at Bukal Public Junior High School No. 8. Bukal Public Junior High School No. 8 in Buol Regency is the site of the research. Five students, one civic education instructor, and the principal of the school make up the seven subjects of this study. Qualitative research using a descriptive approach is the research methodology employed. Documentation, interviews, and observation were used to obtain data. The results of the research found in the learning phase are (1) the implementation of 4C skills at Bukal Public Junior High School No. 8, Buol Regency, as follows: critical thinking, for example, when the teacher asks questions to students in class during the learning process, none of them are able to answer the questions. Communication, for example, communication skills in classroom learning, not all students are able to communicate well. Collaboration, for example, students can collaborate with their peers during learning. Creativity, for example, creative skills in student learning are still lacking in creating interesting questions. (2) supporting factors in the implementation of 4C skills are policies related to one of the rules, especially time discipline, and the school strives to utilize all facilities provided by the government and do their best in the classroom learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan refleksi kritis tentang budaya sintuvu masyarakat Kaili di Sulawesi Tengah. Kajian budaya sintuvu dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi masyarakat dewasa ini yang rentan dengan konflik akibat terpinggirkannya nilai-nilai kearifan lokal. Tujuan penelitian adalah menemukan hakikat budaya sintuvu berdasarkan histori dan kehidupan keseharian masyarakat Kaili. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian filosofis dengan menggunakan data kepustakaan yang didukung oleh wawancara lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan budaya sintuvu adalah milik masyarakat Kaili dan dipahami mendukung prinsip kebersamaan yang dikenal sejak masa Tomalanggai, dan berkembang sejak masa kerajaan Kaili di Sulawesi Tengah pada abad ke-15 Masehi. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya sintuvu merupakan simbol persatuan dan gotong-royong yang masih relevan hingga sekarang. Nilai-nilai yang mendasari konsep budaya sintuvu dibangun berdasarkan pengalaman hidup sehari-hari masyarakat Kaili, yang mencakup nilai harmoni, kekeluargaan, semangat berbagi, solidaritas, musyawarah mufakat, tanggung jawab, dan keterbukaan. This study is a critical reflection of the Kaili community's sintuvu culture in Central Sulawesi. The study is motivated by the condition of the community today which is vulnerable to conflict due to the marginalization of the values of local wisdom. The purpose of this research is to discover the nature of sintuvu culture based on history and daily life of the Kaili people. This research is a philosophical study using library data supported by field interviews. The results show that the sintuvu culture belongs to the Kaili people and is understood to support the principle of togetherness known since the Tomalanggai period and has developed since the sovereignty of Kaili kingdom in Central Sulawesi in the 15th century. Research conclusion indicates that the culture of sintuvu is a symbol of unity and cooperation which is still relevant today. The underlying values of sintuvu concept are built based on the daily life experiences of the Kaili community, which includes values of harmony, kinship, the spirit of sharing, solidarity, deliberation for consensus, responsibility, and openness.
