Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam rangka mensosialisasikan bagaimana tehnik penyadapan yang dilakukan terhadap tangkai bunga tanaman aren untuk memperoleh air nira yang banyak sebagai sumber gula. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegitan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu dengan cara sosialisasi yang terdiri dari metode ceramah, diskusi dan pelatihan. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah melakukan kegiatan ini adalah : meningkatnya keterampilan masyarakat petani aren di Desa Sialaman dalam hal tehnik penyadapan yang dilakukan terhadap tangkai bunga tanaman aren agar memperoleh air nira yang banyak sebagai sumber gula dan sekaligus sebagai sumber pendapatan masyarakat petani aren.

Abstract

The most important factor affecting the growth of long bean plants is the intake of nutrients or nutrients and can also be done through pruning the lateral branches. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer from tofu waste and pruning lateral branches on long bean production. The study used a randomized block design with two treatments namely liquid organic fertilizer from tofu waste and heating of long bean lateral branches. The treatment interaction P2D1 had highest plant size of 295.63 cm.The highest number of plant flowers was found in the P1D3 by 6.22, and the highest number of pods was found in the P3D3 treatment interaction by11.00. The results showed that the interaction of POC administration and pruning of lateral branches had a significant effect on the growth and production of long bean plants, only seen in the number of flowers per plant at 4 WAP

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di rumah bibit Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Graha Nusantara Padangsidimpuan. Dengan ketinggian +480 m dpl. Pada Bulan Mei sampai Juli 2020. Penelitian ini dingunakan dengan rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Non factorial yaitu Ko= Trichoderma viride, K1= Kotoran sapi, Ayam dan jerami di dekomposisi oleh T.viride sebanyak 100 gr, K2= Kotoran sapi, Ayam dan jerami di dekomposisi oleh Trichoderma Viride sebanyak 200 gr, K3= Kotoran sapi, Ayam dan jerami didekomposisi oleh Trichoderma viride sebanyak 300 gr, K4= Kotoran sapi, Ayam dan jerami di dekomposisikan oleh trichoderma viride sebanyak 400 gr. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1. Semua perlakuan kombinasi berbagai jenis pupuk organic didekomposisi oleh T. viride dapat memperpanjang masa inkubasi Foc. Masa inkubasi Foc yang paling lama yaitu pada bibit pisang yang diberi perlakuan kotoran sapi, ayam, dan jerami di dekomposisi oleh T. viride sebanyak  400 gr (17, 20 hari). Kombinasi berbagai jenis pupuk organik yang didekomposisi dengan Trichoderma virideyang terbaik adalah K4 dengan intensitas kerusakan bonggol  sebesar 11,742 %. Persentase daun terinfeksi Foc terendah pada minggu ke VIII terdapat pada perlakuan kombinasi berbagai jenis pupuk organik yang didekomposisi oleh T. viride sebanyak  400 gr (K4) yaitu 13.634 %. Sedangkan persentase daun terserang tertinggi yaitu pada kontrol 55.130. Kombinasi berbagai jenis pupuk organic yang didekomposisi dengan Trichoderma virideyang terbaik adalah K4 dengan intensitas kerusakan bonggol  sebesar 11,742 %

Abstract

Trichoderma spp. It is an antagonistic fungus that is very important for biodiversity control. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Graha Nusantara Padangsidimpuan, with a height of + 480 m above sea level, in August to September 2018. This study only analyzed the nutrient content contained in the finished compost consisting of five compost treatments, namely: A0 = Chicken manure decomposed by T.viride for 0 weeks, A1 = chicken manure decomposed by T. viride for 1 week, A2 = chicken manure decomposed by T. viride for 2 weeks, A3 = chicken manure decomposed by T. viride for 3 weeks, A4 = chicken manure decomposed by T. viride for 4 weeks. Of the five compost treatments then analyzed the nutrient content which includes N, P, K Total in the Laboratory of Soil Science ANDALAS Padang West Sumatra. The results showed that based on the results of laboratory analysis it can be known that compost with the addition of good trichodermaviride decomposer is good by 4 weeks of storage (A4) i.e. organic B = 45.70 %, organic C = 91.03 , Ratio C / N = 11. 13 %, N Total = 3.51 %, P Total = 3.41 % , K Total = 1.58 %.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the engineering of traps against the effectiveness of caught by rhinoceros beetles on palm oil plants. This research was carried out on farmers who were planted in Sidadi Village, Batang Angkola Subdistrict, South Tapanuli Regency. From October to December 2020. The method used in this study is a survey with a sampling technique that is purposive sampling. Traps are installed at as many as 2 points on an area of 720 m2 with a population of 110 palm oil stalks. Traps were placed at the location of many O. rhinoceros attacks. Ember has a trap size of 20 liters, and at the base of the bucket made 4 holes diameter of 2 mm for water disposal. The zinc plate is cleaved in 2 parts of the faucet 30 x 25 cm arranged in pairs in a 4-room-shaped space placed on top of the bucket and tied with a fastening wire. Pheromones are removed from the packaging and hung on zinc traps given gaps on 4 sides. Trap II, Plastic bucket as a trap. The plastic bucket size of 20 liters, the lid of the bucket is perforated with as many as 5 holes (diameter 55 mm) placed upside down, based on the plastic bucket made 4 holes (diameter 2 mm) for water disposal; Pheromones (Ethyl 4-mathyloctanoate) are removed from the packaging, wrapped around a small 10 cm long wire, and attached to the lid of a plastic bucket that is placed upside down. The results showed that the most effective trap installation is trap 1 which has a higher ability to control rhinoceros beetle pests (Oryctes rhinoceros) which are as many as 46 tails compared to 2 traps with as many as 41 tails on plants that have not produced palm oil

Abstract

Percobaan ini dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh lama perendaman dengan perlakuan berbagai ZPT terhadap perkecambahan biji lamtoro.  Metode yang digunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dua faktor dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor I terdiri dari L1 (6 Jam), L2 (12 Jam), L3 (18 Jam), sedangkan faktor 2 terdiri dari A0 (Air), A1 (Ekstrak Bawang Merah), A2 (Ekstrak Rebung Bambu), A3 (Ekstrak Air Kelapa), A4 (Ekstrak Kecambah Kacang Hijau). Parameter yang diamati adalah daya berkecambah, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan panjang akar. Dari hasil penelitian pada 28 Hst diperoleh  bahwa Lama perendaman memperlihatkan pengaruh yang nyata pada parameter daya berkecambah dan tinggi tanaman, sedangkan pemberian Zpt hanya  memberikan pengaruh yang nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman. Interaksi dari kedua tidak memperlihatkan perbedaan pada semua parameter amatan

Abstract

Petroleum waste generated by oil, gas and geothermal business or activities or other activities that produce petroleum waste is a hazardous and toxic waste that has the potential to cause pollution or environmental damage. To restore land contaminated with petroleum, endemic microbes such as mycorrhizae are needed. The recovery process of polluted soil fertility is highly dependent on the quantity of oil spilled and the potential for bioremediation by microbes in the polluted area. The research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agricultural and Animal Sciences UNIKI, the Aceh Agricultural Technology Study Laboratory, the Horticulture Laboratory, and the Soil Biology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam Banda Aceh. This research was carried out from March to June 2022. Varieties had a very significant effect on stem diameter 15 DAP, wet root weight 110 DAP, number of fruit planted 110 DAP, fruit dry weight at 110 DAP, significantly affected plant height 15 DAP, stem diameter 30 DAP. and plant weight of 110 DAP. The best chili plant growth was found in the Lado variety and the best chili yield was found in the PM 999 variety. There was an insignificant interaction between chili varieties and mycorrhizal types on the growth and yield of chili plants on the waste soil.

Abstract

PKM ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penduduk Desa Sialaman dalam meningkatkan produksi gula semut aren melalui teknik penyadapan bunga jantan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan cara pelatihan dan penyuluhan. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Sialaman tentang teknik menyadap bunga jantan yang dapat meningkatkan produksi gula semut aren dan secara bertahap meningkatkan tingkat perekenomian masyarakat.

Abstract

The aren palm plant is a multi-purpose plant, where almost all parts of this plant can be utilized. One of them is nira water which can be used as sugar. his study aims to identify types of companion plants for sugar palm and agroforestry patterns used in community forests in South Tapanuli Regency. The research method used in this study was a field survey in three villages that have community forests. The results showed that there were 17 types of companion plants growing around the sugar palm plants. The pattern of the agroforestry system that occurs in the forests of South Tapanuli Regency is natural. The results showed that coffee plants were dominated in Simaninggir and Bulu Mario villages, while in Aek Nabara village it was dominated by zalacca plants

Abstract

Sampah organik dan sampah plastik dapat menimbulkan masalah bagi lingkungan, karena membuat lingkungan menjadi kotor dan bau.  Untuk mengatasi masalah ini maka sampah organik dan sampah plastik tersebut diolah menjadi produk lain. Kegiatan ini dilakukan oleh Kelompok Tani Pondok Miri pada bulan Mei 2022. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan praktik daur ulang sampah plastik dan memanfaatkan sampah rumah tangga sebagai medium tanam dan pupuk untuk tanaman obat guna meningkatkan nilai jual dan pendapatan di antara masyarakat, yang diilustrasikan melalui studi kasus di kelompok tani Pondok Miri Asri, Desa Sei Semayang, Sunggal, Deli Serdang. Daur ulang sampah plastik dilakukan dengan menggunakan pipa paralon, botol bekas yang multifungsi untuk menanam tanaman obat, serta galon/gelas air mineral untuk menanam tanaman obat. Pengumpulan sampah plastik, seperti botol plastik, bungkus makanan, bekas pembungkus minyak, bekas gelas plastik, dan sejenisnya, dilakukan di Desa Sei Semayang, Kecamatan Sunggal, Kabupaten Deli Serdang untuk dijadikan wadah tanam bagi tanaman obat.
