Abstract

This activity aims to determine the role of political education agents on the implementation of political education of the younger generation. In addition, this activity also aims to determine the impact of political education of the younger generation on the implementation of political participation. The results of the activity show that the role of agents on the implementation of political participation of the younger generation has not been running well.Furthermore, political education of the younger generation has not had a significant impact on the implementation of political participation. Through this activity we suggest the need to intensify the implementation of political socialization periodically to villages. The need for the government and stakeholders to optimize the role of each political education agent as a partner for the implementation of political education. The need for the younger generation to be given wider opportunities and responsibilities in the public sphere such as being involved as members of political parties, or other socio-political organizations.

Abstract

Different from education in general, nursing education is dominated by the female gender both in Indonesia and in the world. There is still debate about whether gender has an influence on student achievement, including in nursing education. Research objective is to find out the influence of gender on the achievement of nursing diploma level students who are dominated by female gender. This research is a quantitative research, namely retrospective descriptive. The population in this study were students of the Nursing Diploma Three Study Program with a sample size of 93 students. The sampling technique used in the research was total sampling. The instrument used in this research is secondary data, namely by looking at the documentation of student gender biodata, and learning achievement is the Cumulative Achievement Index (GPA) from the student’s Study Result Card after graduation. The statistical test used in analyzing this research is the independent t test; with a significance level of 0.05. Based on bivariate analysis, it is known that there is a relationship between gender and learning achievement with a significance value of 0.03 <0.05. The results indicate that there is a difference in the achievement of female students compared to male students. Female students have an average Grade Point Average of 3.51 with honors, while male students have an average Grade Point Average of 3.44 with a satisfactory grade. From the research it is concluded that there is an influence of gender on the achievement of nursing diploma program students.

Abstract

The initiation of the development of Ngesrepbalong Village as a green economy-based avocado center is supported by the village's regional conditions. A green economy needs to be implemented because Ngesrepbalong is known to be the only village in Kendal Regency that has the potential for landslides. Landslide mitigation can be done by increasing the population of deep-rooted, compact, and massive woody trees such as avocados so that water can be retained and the soil becomes stable. The priority problems of the Gunungsari farmer partners in Ngesrepbalong Village include management and production aspects of preparing their area as an avocado center area. Farmer group institutions have yet to be available, and most avocados are not superior varieties. This activity aims to initiate Ngesrepbalong as a green economy-based avocado center. Activities will occur in May-November 2023 through socialization, training and mentoring, application of technology and mentoring, monitoring and evaluation, and sustainability program. The institution of superior avocado farmers was realized by forming the "Gunung Berkah" avocado farmer group. Facilities and infrastructure such as seedling houses, grafting knives, and others were used to propagate 300 seedlings, and top working on 15 adult avocado trees. The superior variety of trees used for grafting and TW is Diane avocado. Increased empowerment of farmer partners is measured after program implementation. The results of measuring the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective/enthusiasm aspects via questionnaires showed the highest to lowest increases in the affective/enthusiasm, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects, respectively. The availability of grafting and TW facilities and infrastructure, as well as increasing farmers' abilities in these three aspects, is a manifestation of the achievements of the initiation of Ngesrepbalong Village to become a superior avocado center based on a green economy.

Abstract

Notaries, empowered to create authentic deeds, require client personal data to perform their duties, making this information vulnerable to misuse if not properly secured. This paper examines the obligations of notaries in protecting client data under the Personal Data Protection Act No. 27 of 2022. Using doctrinal legal research methods, it explores data protection principles, the legal framework for client rights, and how these responsibilities align with notarial duties. Findings reveal that privacy is central to data protection, with the 2022 Act providing a legal foundation for notaries to safeguard client information, emphasizing the importance of maintaining confidentiality in all deed-related activities. The Personal Data Protection Act supports notaries’ roles as data controllers and processors, linking these duties with the authority granted under the Notary Position Act. The synergy between these laws ensures that clients' data rights are upheld, and notarial responsibilities are reinforced within the legal framework.

Abstract

Background, The annual rise in the nominal District/City Minimum Wage (UMK) is not accompanied by the adherence of Companies/Employers to fulfill their commitment to remunerate workers following the regulations. Labor Supervision, as the coordinator of oversight in the labor sector, encompasses coaching, inspection, testing, and investigation of labor offenses, playing a crucial role in addressing legal infractions related to the payment of wages below the District/City Minimum Wage (UMK). Aim, This study investigates the challenges encountered by Labor Supervision (WASNAKER) in addressing legal infractions concerning wage payments that fall below the district/city minimum wage (UMK). Methods, This article employs an empirical legal methodology utilizing a qualitative approach. Results, From this study, we found obstacles faced by the Cirebon Region III Manpower Supervision (WASNAKER) in handling legal violations against wage payments below the District/City Minimum Wage (UMK) by one of the Commanditaire Vennootschap (CV) in Cirebon Regency, including the Manpower Supervision which does not have executive power in carrying out its supervision activities and the absence of experts in the field of manpower who have certification at the Cirebon Region III Manpower Supervision. Conclusions, Efficient labor oversight is essential to guarantee the enforcement of regulations in compliance with the law. This oversight seeks to uphold labor standards via guidance, inspection, testing, and investigation of labor. However, in its implementation, supervision faces various obstacles, such as the lack of executive power in the supervision process and the absence of certified expert witnesses in the field of labor, as seen in Region III Cirebon. Implication, This study’s results highlight the importance of strengthening the oversight mechanism, including the provision of competent human resources, to ensure compliance with labor regulations and the protection of workers' rights.
