Abstract

Urban agriculture is a part of agriculture that produces, processes and markets agricultural products, especially meeting the daily demands of urban consumers. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training and urban agricultural assistance for the Green Village community, to support the urban agricultural program being developed by the Semarang City Government and UNNES conservation. Community service activities were carried out at the Green Village Housing, Ngijo Village, Gunungpati District, Semarang, in May-August 2019. The problem solving of community service activities was carried out using a group-based and comprehensive approach method. Meanwhile, to overcome the priority issues faced is carried out by: Training and assistance to grow vegetables that are good and environmentally friendly, provision of seeds and plants that support urban agriculture, and provision of urban agricultural infrastructure. In accordance with the objectives to be achieved, the service activities are as expected. The success in achieving the objectives is shown as follows: coordination is carried out to equalize perceptions of the activities to be carried out. To further increase the capacity of the community in carrying out urban agriculture in their area, training and practice are provided on: planting various types of vegetables. In addition, partners are given various types of vegetable seeds that are easy to breed and cultivate. The conclusions of the activity are: increasing the knowledge and skills of community service partners on how to grow vegetables that are good and environmentally friendly, the availability of seeds and vegetable plants that support the implementation of urban agricultural activities in the community service partner's area, community service partners have carried out urban agricultural sarpras innovations in their areas properly and correctly Pertanian Perkotaan merupakan bagian dari pertanian yang memproduksi, memproses, dan memasarkan produk pertanian, terutama memenuhi permintaan harian konsumen di dalam perkotaan. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ialah melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan pertanian perkotaan bagi masyarakat Green Village, untuk mendukung program pertanian perkotaan yang sedang dikembangkan oleh Pemkot Semarang dan konservasi UNNES. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan di Perumahan Green Village, Kelurahan Ngijo, Kecamatan Gunungpati, Semarang, pada Bulan Mei- Agustus 2019. Adapun pemecahan masalah dari kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan metode pendekatan berbasis kelompok dan komprehensif. Sedangkan untuk mengatasi persoalan prioritas yang dihadapi dilakukan dengan: Pelatihan dan Pendampingan menanam sayuran yang baik dan ramah lingkungan, penyediaan bibit dan tanaman yang mendukung pertanian perkotaan, serta penyediaan sarpras pertanian perkotaan. Sesuai dengan tujuan yang hendak dicapai, maka kegiatan pengabdian telah sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Keberhasilan pencapaian tujuan ditunjukkan sebagai berikut: koordinasi dilakukan untuk menyamakan persepsi tentang kegiatan yang akan dilakukan. Untuk lebih meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam melakukan pertanian perkotaan di wilayahnya, diberikan pelatihan dan praktek tentang: penanaman berbagai jenis sayuran. Disamping itu kepada mitra diberikan berbagai jenis bibit sayuran yang mudah dikembang biakan dan dibudidayakan. Simpulan kegiatan ialah: meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra pengabdian tentang cara menanam sayuran yang baik dan ramah lingkungan, tersedianya bibit dan tanaman sayuran yang mendukung terselenggaranya kegiatan pertanian perkotaan di wilayah mitra pengabdian, mitra pengabdian telah melakukan inovasi sarpras pertanian perkotaan di wilayahnya dengan baik dan benar

Abstract

Banjir merupakan suatu kejadian yang ditandai dengan naiknya muka air melebihi kapasitas volume tampungan air semisal sungai atau saluran air. Banjir dapat diprediksi dengan melihat fenomena alam seperti curah hujan yang tinggi. Penelusuran banjir dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk mengurangi dampak yang merugikan akibat banjir. Penelusuran banjir dilakukan dengan memperkirakan waktu dan besaran banjir di suatu titik aliran sungai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui debit banjir rencana pada periode ulang 5 dan 20 tahun, serta mengetahui model matematika penelusuran banjir menggunakan metode numerik. Pada penelitian ini, Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) yang digunakan yaitu sungai Ngunggahan yang berada di kabupaten Wonogiri. Muara dari sungai Ngunggahan adalah di Waduk Gajah Mungkur Wonogiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa metode. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui debit banjir maksimum adalah Hidrograf Santuan Sintetik Soil Conservation Service (SCS). Sedangkan metode yang digunakan untuk perhitungan penelusuran banjir adalah numerik dengan persamaan Saint-Venant. Dalam perhitungannya panjang sungai acuan dibagi menjadi beberapa pias. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data sekunder tahun 2002-2014. Hasil analisis dan perhitungan banjir menggunakan pola distribusi hujan Log Pearson III dan metode Hidrograf Satuan Sintetik SCS diperoleh debit inflow maksimum periode ulang 5 dan 20 tahun sebagai berikut: Q5= 265,836 m3/detik dan Q20= 303,748 m3/detik. Model penelusuran banjir dengan metode numerik di DAS Ngunggahan menghasilkan model hubungan debit dan elevasi banjir dengan h = 0,036 . Q0,634 untuk periode ulang 5 tahun dan h = 0,036 . Q0,635 untuk periode ulang 20 tahun. Model hubungan jarak dan elevasi banjir didapatkan persamaan h = 173,5 . L-0,67 untuk periode ulang 5 tahun dan h = 192,6 . L-0,67 untuk periode ulang 20 tahun. Masing-masing model memberikan keandalan hingga 99%.

Abstract

Bayu Yoga Pratama, 2018 Neraca Sumber Daya Air Di Daerah Aliran Sungai Alang Wonogiri. Skripsi. Program Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta.Pada Setiap daerah pasti akan mengalami pertumbuhan penduduk. Begitu juga pada daerah Wonogiri yang penduduknya semakin lama terus mengalami pertumbuhan. Ada banyak hal yang akan terjadi jika pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk semakin meningkat, yaitu penggunahan lahan untuk pemukiman, perkotaan, dan industri akan meningkat. Hal ini berpengaruh pada jumlah penggunaan air meningkat, jika penggunaan air meningkat maka otomatis kebutuhan air akan meningkat pula. Seiring perkembangan teknologi maka dapat membantu kita untuk mengetahui tentang perbandingan antara kebutuhan air dengan ketersediaan air yang ada di alam, dengan melihat beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi potensi air permukaan yaitu antara lain kondisi DAS, aneka bentuk fisik sumber daya air, luas, volume tampungan, pengaruh iklim, dan aspek pengeoloaan sumber daya air (Sunaryo.et.al.,2015). Dengan mengetahui semua hal itu dan di bantu dengan perkembangan teknologi maka penelitian ini dapat di lakukan.Pengumpulan data merupakan langkah awal penelitian ini dilakukan, kemudian analisis data dan melakukan uji validitas data menggunakan metode RAPS. Perhitungan untuk hujan wilayah menggunakan Polygon Thiessen. Polygon Thiessen di peroleh dati bantuan software ArcGIS. Untuk mengetahui evapotranspirasi potensial dilakukan dengan bantuan software cropwatt. Perhitungan debit dilakukan dengan metode NRECA dan selanjutnya diperoleh nilai debit air. Selanjutnya untuk kebutuhan air yaitu kebutuhan RKI, Peternakan, Perikanan, kebutuhan air sungai, dan irigasi di peroleh data yang dapat dilihat dalam Wonigiri Dalam Angka.Hasil dari perbandingan kebutuhan air dan ketersediaan air di DAS Alang Wonigiri Jawa Tengah 2017 di dapatkan hasil defisit terbesar bernilai 16460014,494 m3/bulan dan peta hasil dari indeks  Pemakaian air berwarna merah, sedangkan hasil prediksi neraca air untuk tahun 2018 didapat hasil defisit dengan nilai terbesar 23932009,41 m3/bulan dan peta hasil indeks pemakain air berwarna merah juga.

Abstract

Pengelolan air diperlukan untuk menjaga ketersediaan air di suatu DAS (Daerah Aliran Sungai). Kebutuhan air di suatu DAS terpenuhi apabila ketersediaan air tercukupi. Perlu diketahui neraca air yang terjadi agar pengelolaan air dapat dilakukan secara optimal.Penelitian ini dilakukan di DAS Tirtomoyo. Penelitian ini menganalisis debit andalan dengan metode GR2M. Metode GR2M jarang digunakan untuk menghitung debit di Indonesia, walaupun hanya menggunakan dua parameter, yaitu kapasitas simpanan kelembaban tanah dan koefisien penyerapan tanah.Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan air di DAS Tirtomoyo tidak dapat memenuhi seluruh kebutuhan air di tahun 2018. Defisit air terbesar terjadi pada bulan April periode 15 harian ke dua sebesar –8,2848 m3/detik sedangkan surplus air terbesar terjadi pada bulan Februari periode 15 harian ke dua sebesar 8,1220 m3/detik.

Abstract

Tourism has become an important milestone in economic development and provides positive impacts, including job creation, increased income and tax contributions. Educational tourism is a program where tourists visit tourist locations to gain direct learning experience. This program combines tourism elements with educational content, creating quality and meaningful activities. Educational tourism is concerned with new learning, cultural knowledge, and application of skills. The popularity of educational tourism continues to grow, for example in foreign language learning. Desa Ringinagung is an example of a tourist destination that has potential in the form of reservoirs and cultural richness. However, the potential of the reservoir has not been optimized as a tourist destination due to the lack of land planning and facilities. The planning process for educational tourism destinations in Embung Sari Agung aims to increase attractiveness, economic value and tourism focus. In this way, the Embung Sari Agung can develop as a tourist attraction that focuses on learning and meaningful experiences.

Abstract

Brass composites can be improved their mechanical properties by the heat treatment process. The improvement of the mechanical properties of this technique is expected to increase the resistance of the composite to erosion that occurs in the environment of flow water. Brass composites used are composites with fly ash 5, 10, 15 and 20%. The heat treatment process was carried out using an electric furnace without protective gas. Composite heat up to 350°C and 400°C for 30 min. and quenching with water. Before and after the erosion test, the weight of the test specimen was weighed with analytical scales. The treatment process affects the tensile strength of brass composites. The heat treatment process of brass composites with 5% fly ash at 350 °C produces the highest tensile strength. Erosion rate testing on brass composites showed the lowest erosion rate occurred on brass composites with 5% fly ash and heat treatment at 350°C.

Abstract

The COVID-19 crisis has become a global challenge that requires a rapid and adaptive public administration response. This article analyzes lessons learned from governments' handling of pandemics around the world. The main focus is on the role of information technology, inter-agency collaboration, health system resilience, policy innovation, and psychological and social factors in the context of public administration responses. The research involved a comprehensive analysis of various policies and strategies implemented by governments at various levels. The results show that information technology, such as contact tracing apps and online platforms, plays a vital role in mitigating the spread of the virus and providing accurate information to the public. Inter-agency and intersectoral collaboration proved to be a decisive factor in the success of the public administration's response. Health system resilience was highlighted, and countries with strong health systems tended to be more successful in providing adequate health services. Policy innovations, including coordinated lockdowns, mass vaccinations and economic support for affected citizens, have proven effective in addressing the socio-economic impacts of the pandemic.People's psychological and social factors play an important role in the success of government policies. Communication strategies that build trust, manage public concerns, and motivate compliance with precautionary measures have proven crucial in easing panic and increasing public support.This article not only identifies lessons learned from handling the COVID-19 pandemic, but also provides suggestions for strengthening the resilience and adaptability of public administration systems in the future. The implications of these findings are expected to help governments and stakeholders prepare for similar challenges in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar Akidah Akhlak terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI MAN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kuantitatif korelatif, tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan penyebaran angket dan pemberian soal untuk mengetahui besar hasil belajar siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 siswa kelas XI MAN 1 Tanjung Jabung Timur. Analisis data mengguanakan teknik regresi linear dengan SPSS.25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara motivasi belajar pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak terhadap hasil belajar siswa menurut hasil yang diperoleh bahwa saat pengujian secara signifikansi motivasi belajar dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa kelas XI MAN Tanjung Jabung Timur.

Abstract

Flooding is a natural event that often occurs in Indonesia. Magetan Regency has several areas drained by various rivers that have the potential to cause flooding problems in the event of high rainfall. Hydrological analysis is needed to determine the various rivers that are potentially unable to accommodate water capacity due to high rainfall, causing flooding problems. Thus, research aims to assess flood mitigation control based on a 25-year return period flood discharge (Q25) using the HSS Snyder method and HEC-HMS software. The flood inundation area due to river runoff is analysed using HEC-RAS 6.4.1 software using a 25-year return period discharge (Q25). This research uses retention basin as one of the efforts in flood mitigation, reducing the amount of flood inundation that occurs by using embankment planning. Retention basin is a water structure that functions to collect rainwater and water runoff to reduce flooding. Retention basin is one of the important steps in the flood inundation that occurred in Magetan Regency using HEC-RAS 6.4.1 software analysis was 3,75 km2. The largest flood inundation occurred in Kartoharjo District with an area 1,31 km2. The design of the Kartoharjo Retention Basin in Magetan Regency can reduce the flood inundation area by 22% to 2,94 km2.

Abstract

The meeting between the river and the sea is called the estuary which is a vital environment for the reproduction of marine life, especially fish. The estuary is preferred for industrial and commercial activities, including the construction of a lucrative port due to easy access to sea transport. However, estuaries face challenges such as sediment deposition that leads to shallow channels and river estuary closures. The mouth of the Luk Ulo River in Kebumen Regency, Indonesia, is particularly affected by sediment transport from the coast and changing the flow of the river to shrimp farming areas. To overcome this problem, the construction of a jetty is planned to stabilize the estuary. The study focused on the Luk Ulo River Estuary, utilizing wave, tidal, and bathymetric data to plan jetties effectively, emphasizing on the proper arrangement of tetrapods to prevent estuaries from becoming unstable. The research, which uses a quantitative descriptive approach, aims to determine the needs of tetrapods, porosity values, and the protective arrangement of jetties. The findings show that the Luk Ulo River estuary, which has a wave-dominated morphological characteristic, is susceptible to estuary closure due to sediment transport dynamics. Data analysis provides insights into tides, sediment transport, tetrapod placement and tetrapod needs that are highly beneficial for future projects, facilitating the design of effective jetty construction measures. This research contributes valuable information to coastal planning, especially in the regular arrangement of tetrapods and the need for tetrapods.
