Abstract

The world of education is one of the sectors affected by the Covid-19 phenomenon. Educators and students experience many difficulties and require them to fight these challenges. This study aims to reveal the impact of the Covid-19 phenomenon on learning Islamic religious education at SMPN 2 Jogoroto Jombang and how educators try to overcome the various negative impacts it causes. Research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection methods of interviews, observation, documentation and uses analysis in accordance with qualitative methods. The Covid-19 phenomenon has had several impacts, including limited facilities and infrastructure in implementing learning, including cellphones, computers, laptops, internet quota. Internet networks are still difficult to access and educators are not flexible in conveying material and monitoring the overall growth and development of children. Online learning accelerates the transformation in digitization. the online learning system is a technology-based learning system which certainly requires educational institutions, both from educators, students, and even parents. The professionalism of PAI teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Jogoroto in generating new ideas to find creativity and present a more effective and efficient learning process. Acceleration of PAI Teachers in the use of online learning applications. Technological transformation creates various online learning program platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom Meeting which can support PAI learning. The internet as a source of positive information in PAI learning at SMP Negeri 2 Jogoroto

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) has brought significant changes in the world of education, including in learning fiqh subjects in Islamic educational institutions. This research aims to find out how the implementation of ICT-based fiqh learning in MA Al Urwatul Wutsqo Jombang, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation interviews and documentation. The results showed that fiqh learning at MA Al Urwatul Wutsqo has integrated various ICT media, such as PowerPoint, learning videos, interactive quiz applications (Quizizz, Kahoot), and the Google Classroom platform. This approach has been proven to increase learning interest, student engagement, and understanding of fiqh material, especially on the practical aspects of worship. Teachers play an active role in designing interactive and contextual learning by utilising available technology. Supporting factors for the success of ICT-based learning include the availability of supporting facilities in the madrasah, support from the principal, teacher training, and students' enthusiasm for digital media. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited equipment and students' uneven ability to use technology.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly influenced the learning styles of Generation Z, including in the context of Islamic education. This study aims to analyze the utilization of mobile learning applications in improving Qur’anic literacy among students at MTs Al Urwatul Wutsqo Jombang. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the use of mobile learning applications enhances students’ learning motivation, Qur’an reading skills, and understanding of the meaning of Qur’anic verses. Furthermore, mobile learning provides flexibility in terms of time and place, aligning with the characteristics of Generation Z who are highly engaged with technology. This study recommends that Islamic educational institutions further integrate digital technology into Qur’anic learning to address the challenges of the digital era and promote sustainable Qur’anic literacy.
