Abstract

Nurse fatigue has been recognized as a threat to both nurse and patient safety. Comparing to other units, inpatient unit has lower nurse to patient ratio. Inpatient unit nurses also work in shift and experience shift rotation. Thus make them more vulnerable to experience fatigue. The purpose of this study was to describe work-related fatigue among inpatient unit nurses. A cross-sectional, descriptive design with cluster sampling technique was used to 93 staffs nurses in six wards. Work-related fatigue was measured using Occupational Fatigue Exhaustion Recovery (OFER) scale. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. A total of 93 nurses provided their personal information details and fully completed self-reported fatigue and recovery questionnaire. The mean (±SD) scores were 56.55 (±15.56), 42.83 (±19.46), and 51.07 (±16.98) for acute fatigue, chronic fatigue, and intershift recovery, respectively. Perinatology unit nurses had the highest acute and chronic fatigue and the lowest intershift recovery. Less experienced nurses experienced lower acute fatigue level which tends to increase progressively with increasing experience and accompanied by poorer recovery. Nursing administrators should consider individual factors while planning staff placement in order to optimize quality of care and meet the job demands in every different unit.

Abstract

Nurses who work in intensive care unit and emergency rooms have excessive workload, and they are required to carry out nursing interventions appropriately and quickly. The heavy workload has an impact on the nurse's mentality, however limited information about the nurse's mentality related to workload. The aim of the study was to identify the mental workload of nurses in intensive care and emergency rooms. Method, this research is quantitative descriptive study with total sampling technique, 63 nurses who worked in ICU, PICU / NICU, and IGD of RSUD Kota Bandung involved in this study. The research instrument was NASA-TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration-Task Load Index). Data were analyed using descriptive analysis in the form of frequency distribution and mean. The results showed that nurses in the emergency room (42.9%) had high mental workload, and the moderate mental workload identified in nurses who works the PICU / NICU and ICU rooms. Conclusion, critical care rooms and emergency room should consider nurses’ working balance and fulfill their rest needs. Further research is needed to examine the efforts that can be made to reduce nurses' mental workload.

Abstract

Perawat mempunyai peranan penting untuk memberikan asuhan keperawatan yang berkualitas. Untuk mencapai itu semua diperlukannya seorang perawat yang benar-benar memiliki kompetensi sesuai dengan area tanggung jawabnya, dan kompetensi tersebut harus selalu di pertahankan dan dikembangkan. Maka diperlukan suatu sistem yang dapat dilaksanakan oleh rumah sakit, salah satunya yaitu sistem pengembangan jenjang karir perawat klinik. Penulisan literature review ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pentingnya sistem pengembangan jenjang karir perawat klinik dan bagaimana pelaksanaan sistem pengembangan jenjang karir perawat klinik di berbagai rumah sakit. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah literature review. Literature diambil dari jurnal artikel, pustaka, dan Grey Literature, sehingga secara keseluruhan didapatkan duapuluh delapan referensi. Hasil dari proses kajian literatur ini diketahui bahwa sistem pengembangan jenjang karir perawat klinik dirasakan sangat penting dilaksanakan di rumah sakit, tetapi masih banyak rumah sakit yang belum menerapkan sistem tersebut. Dan bagi rumah sakit yang sudah melaksanakan sistem tersebut, dalam pelaksanaannya masih belum sesuai dengan standar sistem pengembangan jenjang karir perawat klinik yang seharusnya, sehingga setiap rumah sakit hendaknya melaksanakan evaluasi secara berkala sehingga dapat diketahui hambatan dan masalah yang terjadi.

Abstract

The nurse career ladder is one of the systems done by the hospital in order to improve the nurses’ performance and professionalism according to their expertise and also it can improve hospital’s service quality. The private hospital in tasikmalaya city and the government hospital in ciamis are tried to organize their system in order to improve the hospital’s service quality. This research aims to knowing the implementation the system in both of the hospitals. The research employs qualitative method and case study approach with eight participants netted by purposive sampling technique. The theme found is: 1) the reason of both hospitals implemented system; 2) differenced perception and effectiveness of role, function, and duties nurse department, nurse committee and training personnel; 3) availability of human resources implemented system; 4) optimization implemented system. The results found is differented perception of roles, functions, and duties between nursing department and committee, lacked of support and freedom of training personnel, nursing committee does not had subcommittee credentials, imbalanced proportion between number assessors and nurses and their workload, uncleared legality of implementation system from the director, inappropriated implementation since the system was previously done by the midwives, lacked of support and motivation, differented implementation between action and the actual rules as it was adjusted to the hospitals’ environment. It can be concluded that the implementation system was not yet optimal. The hospital should be able to support and plan the program is well. Pay more attention to requisite and facilities needed for implementation system, and propose the better appreciation to nurse in according to competence.

Abstract

Parenting Style among Teenagers with an Internet Addiction Background: Teenagers are transition from childhood to adulthood which is a period of crisis against maladaptive risks, such as internet addiction. One of the external factors that most influences internet addiction in teenagers is parenting style.Purpose: To describe the parenting style among teenagers with an internet addiction.Method: A quantitative descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. The population was all students in grades of X and XI grade senior high school of Jatinangor, and samples were taken by purposive sampling with criteria of experiencing internet addiction, have complete parents, and living with parents with a total sample of 100 students. Data collection by using an instrument of Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) which has translated in bahasa and tested for its validity with coefficient ≤ 0.300, and its reliability with of Alpha Cronbach ≤ 0.700. The results were analyzed by univariate.Results: The research showed that authoritative father’s parenting style perceived by teenagers (38%), authoritative mother’s parenting style perceived by teenagers (43%), authoritarian father’s parenting style perceived by teenagers (25%), authoritarian mother’s parenting style perceived by teenagers (28%), permissive father’s parenting style perceived by teenagers (28%), and permissive mother’s parenting style perceived by teenagers (16%).Conclusion: Most of the parenting styles perceived by adolescents with internet addiction are democratic maternal. Keywords: Internet addiction; Parent style; Teenagers. Pendahuluan: Masa remaja merupakan masa transisi dari anak-anak menuju  dewasa yang merupakan masa krisis terhadap risiko maladaptif, seperti kecanduan internet. Salah satu faktor eksternal yang paling mempengaruhi kecanduan internet pada remaja ialah pola asuh..Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran pola asuh orang tua pada remaja dengan kecanduan internet.Metode: Penelitian deskriptif-kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini ialah seluruh siswa kelas X dan XI SMA Negeri Jatinangor, sebanyak 838 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi mengalami kecanduan internet, orang tua lengkap dan tinggal bersama orang tua dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Instrumen Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) yang telah dialih bahasakan dan diuji validitasnya dengan nilai koefisien ≤ 0.300, serta reliabilitasnya dengan nilai Alpha Cronbach≤ 0.700. Hasil penelitian dianalisis  dengan teknik analisis univariat.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pola asuh ayah demokratis yang dipersepsikan remaja (38%), pola asuh ibu demokratis yang dipersepsikan remaja (43%), pola asuh ayah otoriter yang dipersepsikan remaja (25%), pola asuh ibu otoriter yang dipersepsikan remaja (28%), pola asuh ayah permisif yang dipersepsikan remaja (28%), dan pola asuh ibu permisif yang dipersepsikan remaja (16%).Simpulan: Sebagian besar pola asuh yang dipersepsikan remaja dengan kecanduan internet adalah pola asuh ibu demokratis.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan adalah suatu dokumen yang berisi tentang keadaan pasien mulai dari bio-psiko-sosial-spiritual dan seluruh kegiatan atau tindakan yang dilakukan oleh perawat terhadap pasien dari pasien datang di rumah sakit sampai pasien pulang. Dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan ini menjadi salah satu faktor yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap suatu pelayanan kesehatan khususnya di rumah sakit, karena apapun yang dilakukan ketika pasien di rawat sampai pasien pulang dapat dilihat dari kualitas dari dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan itu sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas dari dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan di RSUD dr.Slamet Garut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling. Sebanyak 100 dokumen dijadikan sample dan instrumen studi dokumentasi penerapan standar asuhan keperawatan di rumah sakit menurut Depkes, 1995 digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas dokumentasi. Analisa data yang digunakan yaitu analisa univariat untuk mengetahui distribusi frekuensi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan april-mei 2019. Hasil dari penelitian gambaran kualitas dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan di ruang rawat inap RSUD dr.Slamet Garut yaitu 77,24% dokumentasi terisi lengkap lengkap. Dengan masing-masing aspek pengkajian 81,61%, diagnosa 82,17 %, perencanaan 61,96%, tindakan 64,80%, dan evaluasi 95,65%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pada tahap evaluasi memiliki hasil yang tinggi dan untuk tahap perencanaan terkecil di banding dengan tahap yang lainnya yaitu pengkajian, diagnosa, dan tindakan. Diperlukan motivasi yang tinggi untuk perawat dalam mengisi dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan semaksimal mungkin berdasarkan standar asuhan keperawatan yang berlaku. ABSTRACT Documentation of nursing care is a document that contains the patient's condition starting from bio-psycho-social-spiritual and all activities or actions taken by nurses about patients from patients come to the hospital until the patient go back home. Documentation of nursing care is one of the factors that is very influential on a health service, especially in hospitals, because all the records when the patient is treated until the patient returns can be seen from the quality of documentation of nursing care itself. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of nursing care documentation at RSUD Dr.Slamet Garut. This research was a descriptive study with accidental sampling technique. A total of 100 documents were used as samples and documentation for the study of the application of nursing care standards in hospitals according to the Ministry of Health, 1995 was used to measure the quality of documentation. Analysis of the data used was univariate analysis to determine the frequency distribution. This research was conducted in April-May 2019. The result of this research is the description of the quality of documentation of nursing care at inpatient room of Dr. Slamet Garut shows that as many as 77.24% document completed. With each aspect of assessment as many as 81.61%, diagnosis 82.17%, planning 61.96%, action 64.80%, and evaluation 95.65%. The conclusion of this study shows that the evaluation stage has high results and for the smallest result was planning stage compared to the other stages which are assessment, diagnosis, and action. High motivation is needed for nurses in filling out the documentation of nursing care as much as possible based on applicable nursing care standards. Keywords : Documentation, Nursing Care, Hospital.

Abstract

Kinerja perawat dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor. Salah satunya adalah burnout. Burnout merupakan sindrom yang dikonseptualisasikan sebagai akibat dari stres kronis di tempat kerja. Burnout ditandai dengan tiga dimensi yaitu exhaustion, cynicism dan reduced professional efficacy. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan burnout dengan kinerja perawat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu rumah sakit di Bandar Lampung pada bulan Mei 2022. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perawat di Rumah Sakit X di Bandar Lampung dengan sampel sebanyak 175 orang. Alat ukur burnout menggunakan kuesioner Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Service Survey (MBI-HSS), sedangkan kinerja diukur menggunakan kuesioner kinerja perawat yang dikembangkan oleh Nursalam. Uji validitas dilakukan pada 30 orang dengan hasil valid dan reliabel. Uji univariat menggunakan persentase dan uji bivariat menggunakan Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden dalam kategori tidak burnout dan kinerja baik. Ada hubungan antara burnout dengan kinerja perawat (p=0,000).

Abstract

AbstrakTingkat kepatuhan dan partisipasi pasien Penyakit Jantung Koroner (PJK) jantung pasca revaskularisasi dalam menjalani rehabilitasi jantung masih sangat rendah yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai hambatan. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kekambuhan penyakit serta menurunkan kualitas hidup pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hambatandari pasien PJK dalam menjalani rehabilitasi jantung di Poliklinik Jantung RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung. Metoda penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 42 responden yang menggunakan accidental sampling selama 1 bulan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisioner Cardiac Rehabilitation Barrier Scale dari Grace et.al tahun 2011 yang telah diterjemahkan. Analisa data menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan rerata skor. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa hambatan berdasarkan aspek logistik menjadi hambatan dengan rata-rata skor (mean) tertinggi yaitu 2,29. Selanjutnya adalah hambatan berdasarkan aspek waktu dengan rerata skor 2,24, kemudian berdasarkan aspek pelayanan kesehatan dengan rerata skor 2,19 dan yang paling rendah memperoleh rerata skor adalah berdasarkan status fungsional pasien yaitu 2,14. Jarak dan ketidaktahuan pasien mengenai rehabilitasi jantung menjadi dua hambatan yang memiliki rerata skor tertinggi yaitu 2,52 dan 2,38. Hambatan berdasarkan aspek logistik yaitu jarak menjadi hambatan yang paling banyak terjadi. Maka dari itu, peneliti menyarankan untuk dapat menerapkan rehabilitasi jantung dengan setting rumah yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik pasien. Kata Kunci: Hambatan, PJK, Rehabilitasi Jantung AbstractBarrier Of Coronary Artery Disease (Cad)Patient Who Undergoing Cardiac Rehabilitation At Cardiac Clinicrsup Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandungthe. The level of adherence and participation of patients coronary artery disease (CAD) post revascularization  who undergoing cardiac rehabilitation was still very low which is influenced by various barriers.  This may lead a recurrence of disease  and decrease of the quality of life . This research aims to know about barrier of CAD patient who undergoing cardiac rehabilitation in Cardiac Clinic RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung. This research used a descriptive quantitative method and involved 42 respondent were taken by accidental sampling technique which held in a month.  The research instrument used Cardiac Rehabilitation Barrier Scale from Grace et.al in 2011 that has been translated into Indonesian.  Analysis of  data used  distribution of frequencies and mean score. The results obtained that the barrier  based on logistic aspect with mean 2.29 become highest mean score . Then the barriers based on  aspect of time with mean value score 2.24, then based on the aspect of health care with mean score 2.19 and the lowest mean score is based on the patient's functional status 2.14. Distance and patient's ignorance about cardiac rehabilitation came in two barriersand the  highest mean value was 2.52 and 2.38. The barriers based on the logistic aspect was  distance, the most happened in cardiac rehabilitation. Abstract

Patient safety is one of the five crucial hospital safety issues. This study aimed to determine factors related with nurses’ compliance in the implementation of indicators of patient safety goals (IPSG 1, IPSG 2, IPSG 5, and IPSG 6). This study was a descriptive correlative with a cross-sectional approach. Samples were recruited using a purposive sampling technique (n = 102). Data were analyzed using chi-square and Mann–Whitney tests. The results of this study indicate that the leadership style of the head nurse, rewards, attitudes, and motivation had a significant relationship with the level of adherence in the implementation of IPSG 1 and IPSG 2. The level of nurses’ compliance in the implementation of IPSG 5 was only influenced by the leadership style of the room head and the nurses’ positive attitude. None of the factors had significant relationships with the level of nurses’ compliance in the implementation of IPSG 6. The consultative leadership style of the room head can change the level of nurses’ compliance in the implementation of IPSG 1 by 5.6 times, with 5.06 times toward IPSG 2 and 4.71 times toward IPSG 5. This research recommends the need for consultative leadership style from the room head to carry out the roles and functions as a supervisor to improve associate nurses’ compliance in the implementation of IPSG 1, IPSG 2, IPSG 5, and IPSG 6. Abstrak Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Tingkat Kepatuhan Perawat dalam Implementasi Indikator Sasaran Keselamatan Pasien di Rumah Sakit. Keselamatan pasien adalah salah satu dari lima isu penting keselamatan di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan faktor-faktor yang terkait dengan kepatuhan perawat dalam penerapan indikator sasaran keselamatan pasien (IPSG 1, IPSG 2, IPSG 5, dan IPSG 6). Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling (n= 102). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Chi-square dan Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan, penghargaan, sikap, dan motivasi memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan tingkat kepatuhan dalam penerapan IPSG 1 dan IPSG 2. Tingkat kepatuhan perawat dalam penerapan IPSG 5 hanya dipengaruhi oleh gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan dan sikap positif perawat. Tidak ada faktor yang memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan tingkat kepatuhan perawat dalam penerapan IPSG 6. Gaya kepemimpinan konsultatif kepala ruangan dapat mengubah tingkat kepatuhan perawat dalam penerapan IPSG 1 sebesar 5,6 kali, dengan 5,06 kali terhadap IPSG 2 dan 4,71 kali terhadap IPSG 5. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya gaya kepemimpinan konsultatif dari kepala ruangan untuk melaksanakan peran dan fungsi sebagai pengawas untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan perawat dalam penerapan IPSG 1, IPSG 2, IPSG 5, dan IPSG 6. Abstract

This study explores strategies for implementing Indonesian nursing diagnoses, interventions, and outcomes for hospital nurses. This research method uses a scoping review approach. The research results found 12 articles that describe seven main components of strategies for implementing standard diagnosis, intervention, and outcomes of Indonesian nursing, namely educational programs, case study discussions, assistance using instruments, observation, innovation, role play, and demonstration. Conclusion The strategy for implementing training, case study discussions, and service using devices, words, innovation, role play, and demonstrations can increase nurses' knowledge and skills in nursing practice and patient safety using Indonesian hospital nursing standards.
