Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan berupa workshop penulisan artikel ilmiah ini adalah untuk membekali para peserta dengan pemahaman dan kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah yang layak diterbitkan pada jurnal ilmiah, khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan matematika. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan memadukan tiga, yaitu participatory rural appraisal, technology transfer, serta pelatihan dan pendampingan luring dan daring. Dalam pelaksanaannya, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahapan, yaitu workshop secara tatap muka dan pendampingan berupa On Job Training penulisan karya ilmiah yang dilaksanakan secara daring. Pasca pelaksanaan workshop, diperoleh informasi bahwa para peserta telah menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan terkait penulisan karya ilmiah. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh para peserta yang telah memiliki draft artikel ilmiah dan 33% di antaranya telah memperoleh Letter of Acceptance dari jurnal ilmiah pada saat penutupan kegiatan workshop. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan workshop ini efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan unjuk kerja peserta dalam menulis karya ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, program serupa dapat diadaptasi dan dilaksanakan pada subjek dan lokasi lainnya.

Abstract

The tradition of Uang panai is the wisdom of the Bugis-Makassar tribe in Indonesia to honor women in the marriage process. Unfortunately, the amount of Uang panai is often the reason for criminal acts, such as fraud and theft, to fulfill the Uang panai. This study explores how audiences' reception of law news related to uang panai is based on Stuart Hall's theory and how it impacts the prevention of crime associated with this tradition. This article is written qualitatively, using a reception analysis of media news. The search for media news data was supported by in-depth interviews with purposively selected informants and complemented by literature studies. This research focuses on the theft of uang panai, which went viral and was widely responded to by the community. The results show three positions of audience acceptance, namely the dominant position that supports consistent law enforcement to create a deterrent effect. The negotiation position also supports law enforcement but offers customary reforms to make it cheaper and encourages people to act more wisely by facilitating uang panai. The existence of a community that promotes the uang panai tradition will reduce the pressure on men who are committed to marriage and be a deterrent to the criminal act of uang panai. The opposition rejects the application of formal law to perpetrators of theft for uang panai and suggests settlement by customary law. The opposition believes that understanding the sacredness of adat will effectively prevent crimes related to uang panai. The impact of legal reporting related to uang panai to avoid criminal acts appears in the form of public awareness of the consequences. Awareness of the consequences is born from the impact of the news that gives a deterrent effect, strengthens traditions, and encourages policy improvements.

Abstract

The emergence of various problems during online learning must receive attention, especially for special needs students. For deaf children, online learning problems in mathematics lessons will become more complex due to communication barriers (hearing loss). This study aims to analyze deaf children's mathematical anxiety in learning mathematics and its correlation to the deaf children’s learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was descriptive and correlational research types. The subject research was deaf children at the SMP Luar Biasa Negeri Tuna Rungu. The study sample was 24 students. Research data was collected by observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis used was descriptive analysis and simple regression. The results showed that deaf children's mathematical anxiety was very high. The results of the regression analysis show that mathematical anxiety has a significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes. Even though online learning during the pandemic has made the implementation of mathematics learning flexible because it can accommodate different learning styles of children, many obstacles were found in the learning process, given the limitations of deaf children, and they preferred offline learning. The implications of this research are expected to be an evaluation for teachers and deaf children to improve mathematics learning outcomes and to overcome deaf children's mathematical anxiety.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi kepada guru-guru matematika SMP di wilayah Kecamatan Kubu yang mengalami permasalahan dalam (a) mengkonstruksi representasi visual dari objek matematika yang sering dibutuhkan dalam penyusunan bahan ajar dan instrumen penilaian, dan (b) membuat media pembelajaran eksploratif sederhana berbasis komputer. Permasalahan yang ada diupayakan penanganannya melalui pelatihan pemanfaatan program aplikasi GeoGebra. Ketercapaian tujuan pengabdian ini diukur dengan evaluasi proses, hasil dan pemberian angket tanggapan. Berdasarkan observasi proses dan hasil diperoleh bahwa peserta pelatihan telah mampu mengkonstruksi representasi geometri dan membuat media pembelajaran eksploratif sederhana. Tanggapan peserta terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan berada pada kategori sangat positif.Kata kunci : GeoGebra, Geometri, Media Pembelajaran, Matematika, Kompetensi GuruABSTRACTThis community devotion aims to provide solutions to junior high school mathematics teachers in the Kubu district of both had problems in (1) constructing a visual representation of objects mathematics often needed in the preparation of teaching materials and instruments assessment, and (2) making computer based of simple explorative learning media. The existing problems should be done through training the use of application program GeoGebra. The success of this devotion is measured by evaluation process evaluation, product evaluation, and the participant response. Based on observation processes and product obtained that participants have been able to construct visual representation, and make simple explorative media learning. Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika memiliki tuntutan kognitif dan emosional yang tinggi sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan stres akademik dan kecemasan belajar pada peserta didik. Kurikulum yang selama ini berorientasi pada pencapaian kognitif dinilai belum sepenuhnya mengakomodasi aspek kesejahteraan mental peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis urgensi pengembangan kurikulum berbasis wellness sebagai strategi dalam menjawab tantangan kesehatan mental peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur sistematis berbasis model Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). Penelusuran literatur dilakukan melalui basis data Google Scholar terhadap artikel yang diterbitkan pada rentang tahun 2020–2025 dengan fokus pada kesehatan mental peserta didik, pendekatan wellness dalam pendidikan, dan kurikulum berbasis wellness, dan peran sekolah dalam pencegahan masalah mental. Proses seleksi menghasilkan 8 artikel yang terdiri atas 6 artikel terindeks SINTA dan 2 artikel terindeks Scopus. Hasil sintesis literatur menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pendekatan wellness dalam kurikulum matematika secara konsisten dinyatakan berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan regulasi emosi, motivasi belajar, efikasi diri, dan keterlibatan peserta didik, serta berpotensi menurunkan tingkat kecemasan matematika tanpa mengurangi substansi akademik. Namun demikian, implementasi kurikulum berbasis wellness masih menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan literasi kesehatan mental guru dan belum tersedianya panduan kurikulum yang sistematis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengembangan kurikulum matematika berbasis wellness merupakan kebutuhan mendesak untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran yang efektif, humanis, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika masih menghadapi beragam tantangan, terutama dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan, kemandirian, dan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi murid akibat keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran serta karakteristik materi matematika yang abstrak. Sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, Mobile Seamless Learning (MSL) mulai banyak diterapkan sebagai inovasi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Namun, berbagai hasil penelitian mengenai efektivitas MSL masih tersebar dan belum dirangkum secara sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan serta efektivitas Mobile Seamless Learning (MSL) dalam mendukung inovasi pembelajaran matematika melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengacu pada protokol PRISMA yang meliputi tahap identification, screening, eligibility, dan inclusion. Sumber data berasal dari artikel ilmiah terindeks SINTA, Scopus, DOAJ, dan ERIC yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2021–2026 melalui penelusuran Google Scholar dengan bantuan Publish or Perish. Berdasarkan proses seleksi, diperoleh 9 artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria penelitian. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Mobile Seamless Learning (MSL) memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar, motivasi, keterlibatan, keterampilan metakognitif, dan self-regulated learning murid. Selain itu, MSL mendukung pembelajaran yang berlangsung secara berkelanjutan lintas konteks melalui integrasi pembelajaran formal dan informal berbasis teknologi mobile. Pendekatan ini juga membantu murid membangun pengetahuan secara aktif, belajar dengan lebih fleksibel, serta memperoleh pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna. Dengan demikian, Mobile Seamless Learning (MSL) dapat dipandang sebagai inovasi pembelajaran yang efektif dan relevan untuk mendukung pembelajaran matematika di era digital

Abstract

This study focuses on examining the effectiveness of the metacognitive guidance approach in mathematics education using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Metacognitive strategies are considered a relevant approach in 21st-century education because they encourage students to plan, monitor, and evaluate their thinking processes independently. The literature search was conducted via Google Scholar using appropriate keywords and yielded 306 articles in the initial stage. Subsequently, the selection process followed the PRISMA flowchart, including the removal of duplicate articles, screening based on titles and abstracts, and eligibility assessment through full-text review. From these stages, 12 articles meeting the inclusion criteria were selected as the basis for analysis. The study’s findings indicate that metacognitive guidance has a positive impact on mathematics learning, particularly on students’ problem-solving skills, critical thinking, mathematical literacy, and learning outcomes. This approach also enhances metacognitive awareness, enabling students to be more focused in selecting strategies, monitoring the learning process, and evaluating the results. Thus, this strategy is worthy of integration by teachers to strengthen the quality of learning and higher-order thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the effectiveness of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) and ethnomathematics in improving students’ mathematical abilities through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This study is motivated by the low level of students’ conceptual understanding, mathematical literacy, and mathematical communication skills, which are still dominated by conventional teaching approaches. Data were collected from ten research articles relevant to the topics of RME and ethnomathematics. The analyzed articles employed various research methods, including experimental research, classroom action research, and research and development (R&D). The results of the review indicate that the implementation of RME is consistently effective in enhancing students’ mathematical abilities, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical communication, and mathematical literacy. The RME approach, which is based on real-life contexts, helps students understand mathematical concepts more deeply and meaningfully. In addition, the integration of culture through ethnomathematics strengthens the effectiveness of learning by providing contexts that are closely related to students’ daily lives, thereby increasing motivation, engagement, and active participation in the learning process.Furthermore, the findings reveal that the success of culture-based RME is influenced by instructional design, the selection of appropriate contexts, and the teacher’s role in managing the learning process. Therefore, culture-based RME can be considered an effective and relevant approach to improving the quality of mathematics education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran regulasi diri (self-regulated learning/SRL) dan kecerdasan emosional (emotional intelligence/EI) terhadap hasil belajar dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Dari 250 artikel yang ditelusuri melalui Scopus, Google Scholar, dan ERIC, sebanyak 15 artikel lolos seleksi dan menjadi bahan kajian dalam penelitian. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa regulasi diri (self-regulated learning/SRL) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika, baik secara langsung maupun dalam beberapa studi penelitian yang menyatakan bahwa regulasi diri (self-regulated learning/SRL) sebagai variabel perantara yang menjembatani pengaruh faktor psikologis terhadap capaian akademik. Selain itu, kecerdasan emosional (emotional intelligence/EI) juga ditemukan berkontribusi terhyadap hasil belajar matematika, terutama melalui kemampuan peserta didik dalam mengelola emosi, meningkatkan motivasi, dan menjaga konsentrasi selama proses pembelajaran. Terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, komponen metakognisi dalam regulasi diri (self-regulated learning/SRL) meliputi kemampuan merencanakan, memantau, dan mengevaluasi proses berpikir, yang berperan penting dalam proses berpikir tingkat tinggi. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika merupakan salah satu bentuk penerapan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, karena melibatkan proses analisis, evaluasi, dan pengambilan keputusan dalam menyelesaiakan masalah. Sementara kecerdasan emosional (emotional intelligence/EI) berperan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dengan menekan kecemasan matematika yang dapat menghambat proses kognitif, dan meningkatkan motivasi instrik peserta didik yang mendorong ketekunan dan strategi penyelesaian yang lebih efektif. Secara simultan, regulasi diri (self-regulated learning/SRL) dan emosional (emotional intelligence/EI) saling melengkapi, dimana emosional (emotional intelligence/EI) menyediakan landasan afektif yang memungkinkan regulasi diri (self-regulated learning/SRL) berfungsi secara optimal. Sinergi ini berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar matematika serta kemampuan pemecahan masalah, karena peserta didik mampu mengelola emosi sekaligus mengatur strategi berpikir secara efektif. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya integrasi regulasi diri (self-regulated learning/SRL) dan emosional (emotional intelligence/EI) dalam desain pembelajaran matematika yang efektif.

Abstract

Mathematical critical thinking ability is a crucial skill that should be developed in mathematics education, particularly in addressing complex and contextual problems. This study aims to describe the mathematical critical thinking skills of Grade 10 senior high school students in solving ethno-controversial mathematical problems viewed from the level of logical–mathematical intelligence. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with 6 grade 10 students from SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja as subjects, selected based on high, medium, and low levels of logical–mathematical intelligence. Data were collected through a written test based on ethno-controversial problems, a logical–mathematical intelligence questionnaire, semi-structured interviews, and documentation of students' work. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, referring to the indicators of mathematical critical thinking, namely interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference. The results of the study indicate that students with high logical–mathematical intelligence consistently meet most indicators of mathematical critical thinking, although they still show shortcomings in systematically presenting conclusions. Students with moderate logical–mathematical intelligence demonstrate fairly good mathematical critical thinking abilities in the indicators of interpretation and analysis; however, they still experience difficulties in the indicators of evaluation and inference. Meanwhile, students with low logical–mathematical intelligence show limitations in almost all indicators of mathematical critical thinking. These findings suggest the need for differentiated instructional strategies tailored to students' levels of logical–mathematical intelligence.
