Abstract

The religious practice of a small part of the village community in Banyumas Regency that adheres to the flow of beliefs and teachings of puritarianism tends to be exclusive. One of them is a Muslim aboge. This can create an interactive gap with rural communities in general. On the other hand, the existence of this community still exists and lives in the development of the digital era. This research was conducted to answer two things; first, the concept of defense of the existence of the culture and teachings of the Islamic community aboge in the digital era; secondly, the forms of social interaction carried out by Muslim communities aboge with the people of the Cikakak Wangon Banyumas Village. This research is a field study located in Cikakak Village, Wangon District, Banyumas Regency with a phenomenology approach. Methods in data search using interviews and documentation compiled and reported descriptively. After going through the research stage, there are at least three points that can be concluded, namely: 1) The social interaction of the Aboge community with the Cikakak Village community in Wangon Subdistrict Banyumas Subdistrict takes place dynamically, functionally, and has a specific purpose, 2) The Islamic Community Aboge is no different from surrounding communities, and 3) the Aboge Islamic community makes ghair mahdah worship a means of interaction with other communities.

Abstract

Penulisan karya tulis ilmiah bagi guru sangatlah penting, salah satunya adalah menulis artikel ilmiah. Dengan menulis artikel ilmiah harapannya akan memudahkan dalam kenaikan pangkat bagi seorang guru. Maka dari itu perlu di adakannya penguatan penulisan artikel ilmiah bagi guru pendidikan agama Islam se Kec, Petanahan Kab. Kebumen,. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan metode daring Zoom Meeting pada tanggal 3 Juni 2024 dengan materi pendahuluan, kemudian tanggal 4 juni 2024 dilakukan dengan asynchronous learning dengan peserta melakukan pembelajaran mandiri dan membaca jurnal-jurnal yang berkaitan dengan agama  islam dan pada tanggal 8 Juni 2024 dilakukan tatap muka dengan praktik langsung membuat artikel ilmiah yang bertempat di gedung Kwaran Kec. Petanahan. Setelah pelatihan ini harapannya guru-guru pendidikan agama Islam se Kec. Petanahan Kab. Kebumen dapat aktif menulis artikel ilmiah dan bukan menjadikan beban

Abstract

In the 19th century the Shatariyah tariqa was the most popular order in Banyumas. The figure who spread the Shatariyah tariqa was Kiai Nur Hakim. However, so far it is not known which points or areas are the place of distribution. This study seeks to find the distribution points of the Shatariyah tariqa in Banyumas. In addition, it also discusses the Akmaliyah tariqa movement in Banyumas. The focus of the research is on the figure of Kiai Nur Hakim, namely his role in the tariqa which lies in efforts to spread the Shatariyah tariqa in Banyumas and its political movement, namely the Akmaliyah tariqa movement. There are two formulations of problems in this study: First, where are the areas where the distribution of the Shatariyah tariqa in Banyumas carried out by Kiai Nur Hakim, second how the Akmaliyah terakat movement takes place. The research method uses historical methods, through several stages, namely heuristics (data collection), verification (source criticism), interpretation (interpretation), and historiography (historical research). The result of the study was that the Syatariyah tariqa was spread in several areas in Banyumas, namely in the villages of Pasir Wetan, Cikakak, and Sokaraja District. In the Akmaliyah tariqa movement, Kiai Nur Hakim failed to achieve his goal of establishing a sultanate state because the strength of the members of the Akmaliyah tariqa was not comparable to the strength of the Dutch government.

Abstract

This article examines how Islam is represented in Western media and how Southeast Asian Muslim communities interpret and respond to these representations. Using Hans-Georg Gadamer’s philosophical hermeneutics and Homi K. Bhabha’s theory of cultural hybridity, this study explores the intersection between Western media narratives about Islam and the regional cultural contexts of Muslims in Southeast Asia. Representations of Islam in Western media often contain orientalist bias and symbolic simplifications that shape the global public’s perception of Muslims. However, Muslims do not always accept these depictions unquestioningly. Traditionally, Muslims in Southeast Asia have negotiated meaning and constructed new identities that combine Islamic traditions with modern values. This study employs a qualitative–hermeneutic approach by analyzing Western digital media texts including online news outlets (BBC, CNN) and popular audiovisual platforms (Netflix, YouTube) alongside Muslim audience responses collected from social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. The findings demonstrate the formation of a dynamic hybrid identity resulting from the interaction between Western media portrayals and Southeast Asian Muslim socio-religious practices in the digital era. This raises epistemological challenges in understanding religious authority and symbolic meaning in online spaces. Therefore, a more critical and contextual approach is needed in rereading the representation of Islam within the global media landscape.

Abstract

Education is a basic right of every citizen guaranteed by various national regulations. However, in prac-tice, inclu-sive schools in Indonesia still face various challenges, such as limited teacher competency in handling Children with Special Needs (ABK), minimal facilities and infrastructure, weak institutional systems, and social stigma from the community. This condition has implications for the emergence of the phenomenon of "three major sins of education" including sexual violence, bullying, and intolerance. Based on a 2024 study of 408 teachers in Banyumas Regency, it was found that bullying cases dominat-ed with a percentage of 87 percent, followed by in-tolerance at 5 percent, and sexual violence at 0.28 percent. Responding to this problem, the community service team held a workshop on strengthening inclusive school institutions with the aim of increasing the capacity, awareness, and practical skills of education stakeholders. This activity was carried out through the presentation of conceptual materials, technical training, and participatory discussion forums involving teachers from differ-ent inclusive schools. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding of the concept of in-clusive education, violence prevention strategies, and skills in handling ABK adaptively. In addition, this pro-gram can also be used as a stepping stone in strengthening a safe and discrimination-free inclusive education eco-system, as well as being a preventive strategy in suppressing cases of the three major educational sins in the school environment.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Jepang serta menumbuhkan nilai-nilai karakter pada siswa di SMP N 9 Satu Atap Wadaslintang. Program ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya akses siswa terhadap bahasa asing selain bahasa Inggris dan urgensi penguatan karakter remaja di tengah tantangan digital. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui pembelajaran interaktif selama empat minggu yang mencakup pengenalan budaya, alfabet dasar, dan percakapan sederhana dengan dukungan modul ajar khusus. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah 16 siswa kelas 7. Hasil evaluasi melalui tes tertulis dan praktik lisan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dasar bahasa Jepang serta dampak positif pada karakter disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan sopan santun. Kesimpulannya, integrasi budaya asing dalam pembelajaran dapat menjadi sarana efektif untuk internalisasi nilai karakter yang berkelanjutan bagi siswa di daerah perdesaan.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Kualitas pendidikan dalam praktiknya ditentukan oleh ketersediaan sarana dan kurikulum serta kesadaran dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Realita di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran dan motivasi belajar siswa masih rendah dan berkaitan dengan faktor sosial ekonomi serta minimnya pemahaman terhadap relevansi pembelajaran dengan realitas kehidupan. Kondisi ini mendorong perlunya upaya untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan motivasi belajar siswa. Salah satu upaya tersebut dilakukan melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa sosialisasi edukatif di SMK Negeri 1 Wadaslintang, Kabupaten Wonosobo. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi dan kesadaran belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan humanistik berbasis audiovisual dan kontekstual melalui pemaparan materi, penayangan video inspiratif, serta diskusi partisipatif yang melibatkan 420 siswa kelas XII. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap pentingnya motivasi belajar serta munculnya sikap reflektif dan partisipatif selama kegiatan.
