Abstract

This research is conducted to investigate of entrepreneurship orientation, environment dynamic, and management skills of the entrepreneur towards performance.the research is applied to the small and middle enterprise (sme) of embroidery industries in east java which have to encounter dynamic and uncertain environment and high intensity competition and need good management skills in order to win in the competition. The population of the research is the entrepreneurs who are also the owners and managers of the small and middle embroidery industries in east java. The total samples were 314 samples taken from 5 research areas. Meanwhile, the testing of the influence of management skills variable not have an effect on improvement of performance sme. Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to obtain empirical evidence of personality abilities and work motivation in encouraging the improvement of organizational culture and organizational performance, so besides obtaining empirical evidence it is necessary to increase the mediating ability of organizational culture. The writing uses quantitative methods, and the method used is the SEM-PLS program. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 100 employees of KPP Pratama Bitung. Empirical evidence obtained in the form of personality and high motivation and able to encourage increased strengthening of organizational culture and organizational performance. In addition, it was also found that organizational culture is able to act as a strong mediation. Accurate and careful work results in the attention to detail indicator, obeying regulations even though they are not monitored in the aggressiveness indicator, and employee careers are considered by the organization in the stability indicator are items from each indicator that strongly support the creation of a strong organizational culture at KPP Pratama Bitung. This finding is supported by descriptive statistics the four research variables that get respondents' responses are high on average, characterized by sympathy for others, fluid and non-rigid working relationships, obeying the rules even though they are not supervised, as well as the percentage of realized tax revenues.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of work lifequality on the teachers’ performance, the relation between the role of school principal’s management and the teachers’ emotional intelligence affecting the quality of work life. The research was carried out by using a quantitative approach and was through survey method which was based on the structural questionnaire. There were 33 Senior High School teachers of Adventist Colleges in East Java interviewed to obtain variables in answeringthe research objectives. Data were collected in the ordinal form of the Likert scale, described and worked out by using path analysis method based on the framework model formulated.  The results show that the quality of work life plays an important role in maximizing or supporting teachers’ performance.  It was also found that the school principal’s management competency and the teachers’ emotional intelligence have a great contribution to theteachers’ performance. The quality of work life further functions significantly as the intervening variable effect of the school principal’s management competency and the teachers’ emotional intelligence on teachers’ performance.  JEL Classification: I29, J24, M54

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aims to analyze how an organization in improving the performance of its employees through job satisfaction, workload and motivation. The research object chosen was the employees of PT PLN (Persero) the Main Distribution Unit of East Java. This type of research includes causality research, the sampling method uses Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, hypothesis testing and to produce a suitable model (fit), the number of samples is 228 employees at PT PLN (Persero) the Main Distribution Unit of East Java. This study uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM), with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results of this study obtained a conclusion where job satisfaction, workload and motivation have a direct and significant influence on employee performance. Keywords: job satisfaction, workload, motivation, employee performance ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa bagaimana sebuah organisasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawannya melalui kepuasan kerja, beban kerja dan motivasi. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to obtain empirical evidence of the ability of PSM (public service motivation) and transformational leadership in increasing organizational commitment, both directly and through mediating job satisfaction. The quantitative approach of Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to analyze the data of 80 employees of the Planning and Financial Subdivision in the Work Environment of the Pasuruan City Government. They were taken by the census.The empirical findings obtained showed that better public service motivation could increase job satisfaction. However, it was not able to increase organizational commitment. Meanwhile, strong transformational leadership was able to increase job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Job satisfaction could play a role as a strong mediator. These results were supported by descriptive statistics of public service motivation, transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment, all of which have high average scores. Keyword: Public Service Motivation, Transformational Leadership, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris kemampuan PSM (public service motivation) dan transformational leadership dalam meningkatkan komitmen organisasi, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi kepuasan kerja. Sedangkan, transformational leadership yang semakin kuat mampu mendorong peningkatan kepuasan kerja maupun komitmen organisasi. Kepuasan kerja mampu berperan sebagai mediasi yang kuat. Hasil ini didukung oleh statistik deskriptif public service motivation, transformational leadership, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen organisasi yang semuanya memiliki nilai rata-rata tinggi.Kata Kunci: Public Service Motivation, Transformational Leadership, Kepuasan Kerja, KomitmenOrganisasi.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris kemampuan insentif  serta pendidikan dan pelatihan dalam meningkatkan kinerja, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi semangat kerja. Pendekatan kuantitatif Partial Least Square (PLS) digunakan untuk menganalisis data 92 Anggota Satuan Perlindungan Masyarakat Dinas Satpol PP Kota Pasuruan, yang diambil menurut formula Slovin. Temuan empiris yang diperoleh bahwa insentif  yang semakin meningkat mampu mendorong peningkatan kinerja, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi semangat kerja. Begitu juga dengan, peningkatan pendidikan dan pelatihan juga mampu mendorong peningkatan kinerja, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi semangat kerja. Temuan ini sekaligus menjelaskan kuatnya peranan semangat kerja sebagai mediasi. Hasil ini didukung oleh statistik deskriptif insentif, pendidikan dan pelatihan, semangat kerja, serta kinerja yang semuanya memiliki nilai rata-rata tinggi. Kata Kunci: insentif, pendidikan dan pelatihan, semangat kerja, kinerja, Satpol PP.   Abstract: The aim of this research is to obtain empirical evidence of the ability of incentives as well as education and training to improve performance, either directly or through mediating morale. The quantitative approach of Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to analyze the data of 92 members of the Public Protection Unit of the Satpol PP Service of Pasuruan City, which were taken according to the Slovin formula. The empirical findings obtained are that the increasing incentives are able to encourage increased performance, both directly and through the mediation of morale. Likewise, increased education and training are also able to encourage increased performance, both directly and through mediation of work spirit. This finding also explains the strong role of morale as mediation. These results are supported by descriptive statistics of incentives, education and training, morale, and performance, all of which have high average scores.  KeyWords: incentives, education and training, morale, performance, Satpol PP.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research objective is to obtain empirical evidence of the strength of work ability in encouraging increased job satisfaction and for OCB. In addition, to find the mediating power of job satisfaction. This type of research is quantitative research, and the method used is SEM-PLS. Data obtained through questionnaires distributed to 90 Employees Regional Financial Agency of  Batu City. The empirical evidence obtained is higher work abilities are able to encourage increased job satisfaction, but not capable of OCB. In addition, job satisfaction is able to act as a strong mediator of the effect of work ability on OCB. This finding is supported by descriptive statistics of the three research variables that get a high average respondent response, which is supported by mastery of work procedures and methods in indicators of technical ability, work as desired in indicators of job satisfaction, and providing creative suggestions for colleagues in the altruism indicator. Keywords: Work Ability, Job Satisfaction, OCB, The Regional Financial Agency of  Batu City. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris kekuatan kemampuan kerja dalam mendorong peningkatan kepuasan kerja maupun terhadap OCB. Selain itu, untuk menemukan kekuatan mediasi kepuasan kerja. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dan metode yang digunakan adalah SEM-PLS. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 90 Pegawai Badan Keuangan Daerah Kota Batu.  Bukti empiris yang diperoleh adalah  kemampuan kerja yang semakin tinggi mampu mendorong peningkatan kepuasan kerja, tetapi tidak mampu terhadap OCB. Selain itu, kepuasan kerja mampu berperan sebagai mediasi yang kuat atas pengaruh kemampuan kerja terhadap OCB. Temuan ini didukung oleh statistik deskriptif ketiga variabel penelitian yang mendapatkan tanggapan responden rata-rata tinggi, yang didukung oleh penguasaan prosedur dan metode kerja dalam indikator kemampuan teknis, pekerjaan sesuai keinginan dalam indikator kepuasan terhadap pekerjaan, dan memberikan saran kreatif rekan sekerja dalam indikator altruism. Kata kunci:    Kemampuan Kerja, Kepuasan Kerja, OCB,  Badan Keuangan Daerah Kota Batu.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan Kepemimpinan dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kepuasan Kerja. Teknik sampel adalah sensus, yakni 39 orang pegawai Badan Keluarga Berencana dan Pemberdayaan Perempuan Kabupaten Konawe. Setelah dilakukan analisis regresi berganda, maka  diperoleh hasil bahwa Kepemimpinan dan Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai Badan Keluarga Berencana dan Pemberdayaan Perempuan Kabupaten Konawe, baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Motivasi Kerja  memiliki pengaruh dominan dibandingkan dengan Kepemimpinan. Hasil ini juga didukung oleh kategori penilaian statistik deskriptif yang rata-rata tinggi.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  The purpose of this study was to analyze the competence or discipline in improving the quality of patent services, and their implications for customer satisfaction. This type of research is quantitative research, and the method used is Path Analysis. Data was obtained through a questionnaire collected from 100 people of interest in the Lowokwaru District Office, Malang. The findings of the study indicate that better competence is able to improve the quality of patent services, but has no implications for public satisfaction. Likewise, better discipline is also able to improve the quality of patent services, and has strong implications for public satisfaction. This indicates that the quality of Patent service has the ability to bridge the influence of competence or discipline on customer satisfaction. Keywords: Competence, Discipline, Patent Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction ABSTRAK  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan kompetensi maupun disiplin dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan paten, serta implikasinya pada kepuasan konsumen. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dan metode yang digunakan adalah Analisis Jalur.Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 100 orang masyarakat kepentingan di Kantor Kecamatan Lowokwaru Malang. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi yang semakin baik, berkemampuan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan paten, tetapi tidak memiliki implikasi pada kepuasan masyarakat. Begitu juga dengan disiplin yang semakin baik, juga berkemampuan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan paten, dan memiliki implikasi yang kuat terhadap kepuasan masyarakat. Ini menandakan bahwa kualitas pelayanan Paten memiliki kemampuan dalam menjembatani pengaruh kompetensi maupun disiplin terhadap kepuasan konsumen.Kata kunci: Kompetensi, Disiplin, Kualitas Pelayanan Paten, Kepuasan Konsumen

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to obtain empirical evidence of transformational leadership and job satisfaction skills in improving OCB (organizational citizenship behavior), either directly or through mediation of organizational commitment.Partial Least Square (PLS) quantitative approach was used to analyze data on 52 employees of four villages in Purworejo District of Pasuaruan City, there were Wirogunan, Tembokrejo, Sekargadung, and Purworejo, which were taken on a census basis. Empirical findings were obtained that both transformational leadership and job satisfaction were directly able to increase organizational commitment and OCB. However, through the mediation of organizational commitment, transformational leadership and job satisfaction could not increase OCB.
