Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of basic life support training on improving the skills of students of class XI Vocational High School Baznas Sulsel. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of quasi-experimental research and research design pre and post test control group design. In this design the researcher intervened in two groups. The first group as the treatment group and the second group as the control group. The population in this study were all students of Vocational School Baznas Sulsel class XI, amounting to 42 people consisting of 21 intervention groups and 21 control groups. The test used by the Wilcoxon Test is to determine differences in skills before and after in the two groups. The results showed that there was an influence of basic life support training on the skills of Grade XI Students in the Vocational School of Baznas, South Sulawesi, with a value of α = 0.001 (<0.05). There is an effect of providing guidance on basic life assistance to the skills of Class XI Students in the Vocational School of Baznas South Sulawesi with a value of α = 0.008 (<0.05). There is a difference in skills between students who were given training and those who were not given basic life support for Class XI Students at the Vocational High School Baznas South Sulawesi with a value α = 0.015 (<0.05). The conclusion in this study is that there are differences in skills between students who are given training and those who are not given basic life support for Class XI Students at the Vocational High School Baznas South Sulawesi. It is expected that the manager of the Baznas Vocational High School in South Sulawesi needs to plan basic life support training, provide equipment / pantom pulmonary resuscitation, procedural basic video support and life support to improve the knowledge and skills of students and nurses in the Makassar city community need to conduct assistance training programs basic life for vocational high school

Abstract

The underlying reason of the study is the importance of education in global era where parents demand that, to face the future, their children should both master science and technology and have strong religion base. To maintain trust from the society, madrasah must work hard. In the last few years, MIN 1 Kulon Progo, a madrasah (Islamic School) with the highest number of students in district Temon, has experienced a constant decrease in enrolments.   The sudy shows that student parents of MIN 1 Kulon Progo expect that students 1) worship more diligently, 2) possess better moral and personality, 3) have various skills, 4) achieve better grade, and 5) reach both academic and nonacademic achievements.To respond parents’ expectation, Madrasah issues policies such as 1) improving the students’ worship quality, 2) mending their moralsand attitude, 3) strengthening the pupils’ skills, 4) setting higherachievements, 5) raising goals both academic and non academic. The policies prove to fulfil the needs although some parents think differently. It also brought further benefit to the school as more parents send their children to MIN 1 Kulon Progo in 2018/2019 school year. The school reached the target of new students (56), and it even had to refuse some candidates.

Abstract

Banjir merupakan permasalahan manusia diseluruh dunia karena banjir dapat menimbulkan kerugian besar bahkan menimbulkan korban jiwa. Di Indonesia dapat dikatakan setiap tahunnya masyarakat dilanda banjir baik di kota-kota besar maupun di daerah yang sebagian besar masyarakat bertempat tinggal di daerah dataran banjir contohnya di Kab Wajo. Salah satu penyebab terjadinya banjir di Kabupaten Wajo adalah meluapnya air Sungai Siwa Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui curah hujan maksimum dan minimum pada Sungai Siwa dan untuk mengetahui debit banjir sungai siwa. Pada penelitian ini data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dan data primer. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif. Hasil Penelitian yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Curah hujan maksimum didapat 77,000 mm dan minimum didapat 249,667 mm. Debit banjir rencana ditentukan dengan beberapa metode. Namun metode yang dipilih adalah Metode Hidrograf Satuan Sentetik (HSS) Nakayasu atas pertimbangan efesiensi dan ketidakpastian besarnya debit banjir. Dari hasil perhitungan debit rencana didapat sebesar 709,487 m3/dtk dengan periode ulang 2 tahun, 916,832 m3/dtk dengan periode ulang 5 tahun, 1035,398 m3/dtk dengan periode ulang 10 tahun, 1168,485 m3/dtk dengan periode ulang 25 tahun, 1252.863 m3/dtk dengan periode ulang 50 tahun, dan 1324,323 m3/dtk dengan periode ulang 100 tahun.

Abstract

The education system proposed by Paulo Freire is an educational model that can liberate the verbal and mechanistic human culture. Such a culture, according to Freire, is impossible to lead people to a more authentic and more human life. To achieve this, descriptive educational habits are expected to be shifted towards transformative-dialogue education, so that education is not perceived as a shackling education. Education is expected to produce changes to students, both changes in the quality of thinking, personal quality, social quality, quality of independence and quality of society. That is the paradigm shift of Islamic education, that is changing the paradigm of authoritarian to democratic paradigm, closed to openness, doctrinaire to participatory. Society needs to civilize the tradition of criticism, dialogue, openness, the spirit of pluralism and practical practices that touch the problems of the weak and oppressed by anything politically, economically, socially and culturally.

Abstract

The design of the pneumatic hydro system V bending tool serves as an alternative tool for bending plates replacing the manual bending method which is widely used in the industrial community, especially machining workshop workshops today. In this design the hydraulic jack bender is driven by a pneumatic cylinder so that the workload of the operator is lighter. As for the results of this design and analysis, a V bending tool with 750 mm frame height, 650 mm frame width, 150 mm hydraulic stroke length, and 5 mm diameter spring pull wire are obtained. In addition, the punch angle is 85o and the punch radius is 1.5 mm while the die angle is 85o, the width of the V die is 33 mm and the bending line capacity is 300 mm. The punch and die material chosen is steel AISI 1045.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of online learning on economicslearning during the Covid-19 pandemic by the eleventh grader of social studies major at SMA Negeri 1 Bontang. This research is also to find out students' perceptions of applications, tools, and networks used in online learning. This is a case study researchby using qualitative approach. The data sources in this study were eight students from class XI IPS and oneeconomics teacher. This research used purposive sampling technique. Meanwhile, the data collection techniqueused interview, questionnaires and documentation techniques.The research’s finding showed promising result in terms of availability of tools. Cellphone and laptop are the tools used in online learning. The students also showed the capability to use online learning application such as Whatsapp and Google Classroom. The research also showed that students tend to be more interested in using Google Classroom.  Learning process indicators demonstrated the range of student preferences for online learning concepts. There are two dominant concepts. The first is lectures, in which students gain a better understanding of the topic through the teacher's explanation. The second is online learning in the form of videos. The content in the form of a video is more entertaining than reading content.The fulfillment of online learning resources for all students, particularly mobile devices, demonstrates extremely high outcomes in the support indication. Support from schools is also provided, such as internet bundles, textbooks, and instruction on how to utilize online learning media apps. Students are also feeling the support of their parents. The establishment of a parent Whatsapp group by the homeroom teacher is as a school partner in overseeing the student learning process. Keywords: Perception, Online Learning, Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

The ability to read plays a role and is one of the determinants of a person's success, this is because all access to information and knowledge is always related to reading activities. elementary school age children who are still not fluent in reading words and writing. Apparently, cultural literacy has not yet been developed and introduced to children in the area, even though literacy has an important role in supporting the quality and basic abilities of students. the problem faced today is that many young children today prefer to play on their cellphones rather than read books. Many of the children were less interested or sometimes even did not have knowledge books or story books in their storage. This service activity has the following objectives, namely: 1) To support educational programs starting with early childhood, and 2) to activate early childhood interest in reading. The methods implemented in this community service activity program are: 1) Coordinating with the local Pamong with the literacy corner program, 2) Coordinating with TPA administrators and Baitul izzah TPA Trustees, 3) Coordinating with village administrators in preparing literacy corner places, 4) Look for books to read that are not used and worth reading, and 5) Coordinate with related Pamong for activity results. Based on the community service activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the existence of a reading corner program can increase literacy in Metro City, especially in the East Hadimulyo Village, Metro Center.AbstrakKemampuan membaca memiliki andil dan merupakan salah satu penentu sukses tidaknya seseorang, hal ini disebabkan karena semua akses innformasi dan ilmu pengetahuan yang dimiliki selalu berkaitan dengan kegiatan membaca. anak-anak usia sekolah dasar yang masih belum lancar membaca kata dan menulis. Tampaknya, budaya literasi masih belum dibangun dan dikenalkan kepada anak-anak daerah tersebut padahal literasi memiliki peran penting dalam menunjang kualitas dan kemampuan dasar peserta didik. masalah yang dihadapi saat ini banyak anak-anak kecil saat ini lebih memilih bermain HP daripada membaca buku. Banyak dari anak-anak yang kurang tertarik atau bahkan kadang tidak memiliki buku pengetahuan atau buku cerita di rumahnya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki tujuan, yaitu : 1) Mendukung program pendidikan dimulai dengan anak usia dini, dan 2) menggiatkan minat baca anak-anak usia dini. Metode yang dilaksanakan dalam program kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah: 1) Melakukan koordinasi dengan Pamong setempat dengan program pojok literasi, 2) Melakukan koordinasi dengan pengurus TPA serta Pembina TPA Baitul izzah, 3) Melakukan koordinasi dengan pengurus desa dalam mempersiapkan tempat pojok literasi, 4) Mencari buku-buku baca yang sudah tak terpakai dan layak baca, dan 5) Berkoordinasi dengan Pamong terkait untuk hasil kegiatan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model coopertative learning numbered heads together dengan media gambar dan tanpa media gambar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi eksperimen. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Sangatta Utara dengan kelas X IPS 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas X IPS 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, observasi, dan tes. Berdasarkan analisis data nilai rata – rata untuk kelas eksperimen 1 mengalami peningkatan sebesar 12,12 (17,8%) sedangkan nilai rata – rata untuk kelas eksperimen 2 mengalami peningkatan sebesar 8,63 (13,8). Hasil uji hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa menggunakan model coopertative learning numberhed together dengan media gambar dan tanpa media gambar di tinjau dari hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji sejauhmana pengaruh current ratio, return on equity, dan debt to equity terhadap dividend yield dan dampaknya pada harga saham. Peneliti tertarik mengkajinya dalam studi penelitian dikarenakan studi terdahulu belum banyak yang memberikan analisis dan mengeksplorasi pengaruh current ratio, return on equity, dan debt to equity dalam pengaruhnya terhadap dividend yield serta dampaknya pada harga saham. Sampel yang diambil pada perusahaan non keuangan pembentuk indeks LQ45 di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2011–2013. Secara umum harga saham dapat dipengaruhi oleh banyak hal, baik dari sisi eksternal maupun internal perusahaan, hal ini bisa terlihat dalam tinjauan penelitian terdahulu. Beberapa penelitian tentang harga saham telah dilakukan dengan variabel dan objek yang berbeda, sebagaimana pernah dilakukan oleh Amanda (2012), Deitiana (2013), Arista (2012), Choirul (2012), dan Indriarto (2005) yang menemukan bahwa CR, ROE, DER berpengaruh terhadap Dividend Yield dan harga saham. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa current ratio (CR) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap dividend yield, hipotesis 1 diterima. Hipotesis 2 yaitu return on equity (ROE) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap dividend yield, sehingga hipotesis 2 diterima. Hipotesis 3 yaitu debt to equity (DE) berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap dividend yield, sehingga hipotesis 3 ditolak. Hipotesis 4 yaitu dividend yield berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap harga saham, sehingga hipotesis 4 ditolak.
