Abstract

Internet adalah kebutuhan untuk setiap individu dalam menjalankan aktivitas. Untuk mengetahui kualitas jaringan internet dibutuhkan metode Quality of Service. Tujuan penelitian ini pengukuran pada 5 pelanggan IconNet dan membandingkan kualitas layanan pada berbagai waktu. Data diperoleh melalui streaming YouTube dengan Wireshark selama 2 jam, menggunakan paket data 10 Mbps dan 20 Mbps dari IconNet. Wilayah penelitian terletak di Kampung Ciateul, Kabupaten Garut. Hasil dari penelitian di 5 pelanggan jaringan IconNet memiliki index delay 4 dan index packet loss dan jitter 3 tetapi parameter throughput memiliki perbedaan, Pelanggan 1 pada pagi, siang, dan malam hari memperoleh nilai lebih dari Index 3 sedangkan pada sore hari Index 4. Pelanggan 2 pada pagi dan sore hari memperoleh Index 3 sedangkan pada siang dan sore hari Index 2. Pelanggan 3 pada pagi dan malam hari memperoleh Index 3 kategorinya sedangkan pada siang dan sore hari Index 4. Pelanggan 4 pada pagi dan siang hari memperoleh Index 3 sedangkan pada sore dan malam hari Index 2. Pelanggan 5 pada pagi, siang, sore, dan malam hari memperoleh bawah Index 2. Berdasarakan data dari penelitian yang dilakukan, faktor yang mempengaruhi penurunan Quality of Service adalah jumlah pengguna jaringan yang bertambah yang memengaruhi bandwidth dan kemampuan Penyedia layanan internet (ISP) dalam menangani volume data, kondisi geografis  memengaruhi kemampuan infrastruktur untuk mendistribusikan layanan secara merata  diantaranya jarak Base Transceiver Statio (BTS) ke kampung ciateul. Optimalisasi pada aspek jumlah perangkat terhubung, jenis aktivitas, bandwidth yang tersedia dan waktu penggunaan akan meningkatkan kualitas layanan jaringan bagi setiap pelanggan.

Abstract

Kebutuhan masyarakat Indonesia terhadap bahan pangan semakin meningkat setiap harinya. Salah satu bahan pangan yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat Indonesia adalah buah tomat. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kegunaan dari buah tomat yang bisa digunakan di beberapa jenis makanan dan minuman. Kegunaan dari buah tomat biasanya dilihat dari tingkat kematangannya yang dibedakan berdasarkan warna. Buah tomat memiliki beberapa variasi baik variasi warna maupun ukuran. Untuk dapat memisahkan buah tomat para petani melakukan penyortiran dengan cara manual berdasarkan pengamatan visual dengan beberapa tenaga kerja dan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama karena hasil tani yang sangat banyak. Pada penelitian  ini, dibuat alat yang dapat membantu para petani dalam proses pemilihan atau penyortiran yang dapat membedakan buah tomat berdasarkan warna dan berat. Alat dibuat dengan menggunakan Arduino Uno sebagai mikrokontroler, sensor TCS3200 sebagai pendeteksi kematangan berdasarkan warna, sensor Load Cell sebagai pendeteksi berat, dan servo sebagai pembuka pintu dan pengarah buah tomat untuk mengarahkan tomat ketika salah satu kriteria terdeteksi. Sistem akan memilah tomat berdasarkan empat kriteria, yaitu berat matang, berat belum matang, ringan matang, dan ringan belum matang. Buah tomat akan berada di wadah penampungan sementara sebelum dilanjutkan pada proses pendeteksian dan pengklasifikasian. Pengujian keseluruhan dilakukan dengan 10 sampel tomat yang memiliki variasi warna dan berat yang beragam. Kondisi lingkungan pengujian dilakukan di dalam ruangan dengan intesitas cahaya yang terkontrol. Jarak antara sensor TCS3200 dengan tomat yang akan dideteksi berkisar antara 4-5 cm bergantung pada ukuran dan posisi tomat. Sedangkan, untuk sensor Load Cell ditempatkan tepat di bawah tomat untuk mendeteksi beratnya. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, 9 dari 10 tomat berhasil dideteksi baik dari tingkat kematangan maupun berat dari buah tomat. Sementara 1 tomat gagal terdeteksi. Kegagalan deteksi ini disebabkan oleh sensor TCS3200 yang tidak dapat mendeteksi kematangan dikarenakan warna dari tomat yang tidak merata.

Abstract

Mosquito coils contain chemicals that are unsafe if used for a long period of time, so alternative natural ingredients are needed to minimize the effects that can be caused. So far, solid waste from distilleries has only been used as fuel for refining or as organic fertilizer. Citronella waste contains ingredients such as citronellal and geraniol which can function as a mosquito repellent. This research aims to determine how to make mosquito coils from citronella waste and wood dust, to determine the effect of the composition of citronella and wood powder (in weight) with a ratio of 70:30, 60:40, 50:50, 40:60, 30 :70, determine the effect of adding binder with a weight of 0, 3, 6, 9, 12 grams on the composition of mosquito coils, and determine the optimal composition of the composition of mosquito coils. The test methods used are water content testing, ash content testing, burning rate testing, burning time and efficacy testing. From the results of the tests that have been carried out, optimal results were obtained, namely in the treatment with a ratio of citronella waste : sawdust 30:70 and the optimum weight of clay was 9 grams.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the Local Binary Pattern (LBP) method for image extraction in OpenCV software. This method separates the objects' characteristics in the image to be recognized accurately. The research process involves stages of device configuration, image data preprocessing, and implementation and evaluation of extraction results. The research results show that the LBP method produces images with various patterns, such as grayscale, the original LBP shape, and other variations. This study also discusses the application of edge detection, histogram, thresholding, and equalization for image processing. Implementation of this method opens up opportunities for further development in various areas, including object identification, video, and wood imagery.

Abstract

Wood is an incredibly valuable resource, particularly for everyday living. To fully harness the advantages of wood, it must focus on two key considerations. Firstly, it is imperative to consistently utilize wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. Secondly, we must explore techniques that maximize the utilization of every part of the tree. One technique for meeting these considerations is to create a wood identification system. This system can be used for quickly inspecting wood species. In wood identification, it is essential to consider specific characteristics and physical properties of wood. Manual identification will depend on the examination of wood anatomists eye and will require a significant amount of time. In accordance with these situations, a computer vision-based system can address this condition. Therefore, feature extraction is necessary to extract the features of wood characteristics from the wood image. This research aims to propose a method for wood species identification based on Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) features to extract important information about wood characteristics from macroscopic wood images. For the classifier, the Random Forest algorithm is proposed for the identification of the machine learning model. Five wood species images will be used in this research, with each wood sample being presented as a macroscopic image. The total dataset used was 750 images, with each wood species having 150 images. The result showed that the Model C (90/10) training data ratio demonstrates good performance in classifying wood species from the macroscopic images. The model achieved a peak accuracy of 0.81 and correctly predicted all test images. This study indicates that the Random Forest model can be an effective classifier for wood species identification.

Abstract

Mengoptimalkan kinerja database sangat krusial di era dominasi data. Pertumbuhan data eksponensial, khususnya pada data Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) sejumlah 227.587.131 baris di database Oracle yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, menjadi tantangan utama. Eksekusi kueri SQL yang lambat menghambat efisiensi operasional. Penelitian ini menerapkan strategi optimasi kinerja database Oracle melalui teknik pengindeksan (indeks tunggal dan komposit) dan partisi tabel berdasarkan rentang (kolom tahun). Kedua teknik ini bertujuan mempercepat pengambilan data dan meningkatkan efisiensi akses pada tabel besar. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengoptimalkan eksekusi kueri SQL pada data KUR yang besar tersebut. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan waktu respons kueri pada empat skenario tabel (tanpa indeks, indeks tunggal, indeks komposit, serta indeks komposit dengan partisi). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa penerapan indeks (tunggal dan komposit) serta partisi tabel secara umum meningkatkan kinerja kueri seleksi dan join secara signifikan dibandingkan tanpa optimasi, dengan waktu tercepat dicapai pada tabel berpartisi dengan penyebutan partisi eksplisit (0,082 detik untuk seleksi sederhana). Namun, untuk kueri agregasi, tabel tanpa indeks memberikan waktu respons lebih cepat (58.100 detik) dibandingkan tabel dengan indeks tunggal (71.700 detik) ataupun kombinasi indeks komposit dan partisi.

Abstract

Transformasi digital di madrasah menjadi salah satu kunci penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di era Industri 4.0. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman pengabdian masyarakat di Kecamatan Sidoarjo, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, dalam menerapkan teknologi digital di madrasah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini mencakup pelatihan penggunaan platform pembelajaran digital kepada 50 guru dan 200 siswa dari tiga madrasah di daerah tersebut. Hasilnya, 85% guru melaporkan peningkatan kemampuan dalam mengelola pembelajaran digital, terutama dalam menggunakan aplikasi seperti Google Classroom dan Zoom. Sementara itu, 75% siswa menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi aktif dalam kelas daring setelah diterapkannya teknologi ini. Namun, 40% peserta mengalami kesulitan dalam mengakses materi pembelajaran secara online, yang dipengaruhi oleh keterbatasan akses internet di beberapa area. Secara keseluruhan, program ini berhasil meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, meskipun masih ada tantangan terkait infrastruktur yang perlu diperbaiki. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam merancang kurikulum berbasis teknologi di madrasah dan mempercepat adaptasi pendidikan digital di Indonesia.

Abstract

Water is the primary needs for the livelihood of people in Gebang hamlet, Girisuko village, Gunung Kidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Gebang is a hamlet in Panggang district, Gunug Kidul Regency, of which water supply is insufficient to meet the needs. There are 170 households with an average of 4 lives each, thus about approximately 680 people don’t have sufficient water supply. Water supply to the hamlet is constrained by the pumping ability.The neighborhood rely on overflowing raw water in high rainfall season that is channelled through pipe to the certain water tank prepared as reserves for dry season and few of them had used water from a cave. However, the pump is now broken so in a long dry season they need to buy water using tank truck. Based on the observation, this research planned to design water pump arrangement with high capacity so water can easily be channeled to the water tank and distributed to people in the neighborhood.The material absorbed in karst medium is related to each other, between organic (coliform parameter) and anorganic material (TDS parameter). The water puryfying process was conducted in laboratory and another process engaging gravity sand filter was chosen using zeolith with thickness of 40-50 cm that is able to decrease TDS from 232 – 268 ppm up to 180 ppm.

Abstract

Anthocyanins are chemical compounds contained in a plants. Anthocyanin pigments are water soluble and have pink, red, purple, blue, and yellow colors. Anthocyanins act as a natural food coloring in the form of dry powder or concentrated liquid. The production of anthocyanins from butterfly pea as a natural dye is currently not maximized yet. The anthocyanin extraction process in this study was carried out by heating the butterfly pea using aquadest as a solvent. The purpose of this study is to find the optimum conditions for extracting anthocyanins from butterfly pea, to learn the effect of temperature and pH on the absorbance and color values of the butterfly pea extract with distilled water, as well as its application as a natural dye in food. In this study, it was found out that the optimum concentration was obtained at a ratio of 15 grams:500 ml (weight of butterfly pea:solvent volume) at pH 4. This proves that the concentration will increase along with the increase in the absorbance value. The optimum concentration value occurs at a temperature of 60°C. While the lowest transmittance value was obtained in the sample with a ratio of 15 grams: 500 ml (weight of telang flower: volume of solvent) at pH 4 and a temperature of 60°C. This proves that the transmittance value is inversely proportional to the concentration value. The butterfly pea extract that obtained at pH 4 produced a bluish purple color, pH 5 produced a purplish blue color, pH 6 produced a light blue color, pH 7 produces a blue color, pH 8 produces a bluish green color, and pH 9 produces a green color.

Abstract

Porang (Amorphophallus Spp.) is one of the Indonesian commodities that are full of benefits because they contain glucomannan, but Porang also contains calcium oxalate, which is dangerous if consumed in large quantities so it requires pre-treatment such as immersion. Besides that, immersion also serves to maintain and improve the physical and chemical quality of Porang. In this research, the immersion media used were water, salt solution (NaCl), vinegar solution (CH3COOH) and ethanol. Porang that have gone through the immersion process are then removed from the water content using spinner and then dried using dehydrator. This research used drying temperature variations of 40°C, 45°C, 50°C, 55°C, and 60°C. The purpose of this research was to obtain the optimal drying temperature for the glucomannan content of Porang flour. Glucomannan content was determined using DNS method. The result showed that each immersion media had a different optimal temperature due to the difference in oxalate released.
