Abstract

Pangeran Antasari road is an urban road with 2-ways 4-lanes type (using median). In this median was found U-turn facility near of Ganesha Operation. Based on preliminary observations at the study location (Pangeran Antasari Road), it was seen there vehicles that could’t make a smooth U-Turn movement and other vehicles that were obstructed when passing through this facility, especially during peak hours when traffic volume was high.The objevtives of this study is to know the effect of U-Turn on delays in Pangeran Antasari road, which is near of Ganesha Operation. The method used is Gap Acceptance. It was to determine the value of vehicle travel time that is affected by U-Turn movement vehicles, namely the gap time and follow-up time.Based on the data analysis carried out at the U-Turn near of Ganesha Operation, it can be concluded that the effect of delay is due to the average time of gap accepted and follow-up time. The average time value of gap accepted was 3.64 seconds and 4.35 seconds in the morning and 9.59 seconds and 8.78 seconds in the afternoon. The average follow-up time of the vehicle is 12.72 seconds to 18.2 seconds in the morning and 14.01 seconds to 17.87 seconds in the afternoon.

Abstract

The value of travel time is the amount of money a person can spend to save a unit of travel time. Loss of travel time is a form of losses in terms of cost and time experienced by road users. This research is conducted at Kartini Street, Bandar Lampung. The purpose of this study is to obtain the value of travel time for car and motorbike users using the linear regression method processed with SPSS. The dependent variable is the cost per length of trip. The independent variables are the lengths, the costs, and the distance of the trip, as well as the socio-economic data of the respondents, namely gender, age, occupation and income. Based on the results of the processing, it is found that the independent variables that have a significant effect on the value of travel time at the research location are age, income, travel time and travel costs. By distributing the mode value of the survey data into the regression equation, the value of travel time on Kartini street for private car drivers is Rp. 25,452.24 / hour and for motorbike riders is Rp. 14,527.26 / hour. Keywords: travel time value, private vehicle, linear regression

Abstract

Congestion problems are common in transportation, congestion can be caused by several things. The construction of the flyover is expected to be able to overcome congestion in the long term. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the flyover construction on the Teuku Umar - ZA Pagar Alam road. This research was conducted during busy hours on Monday at the Teuku Umar road, ZA Pagar Alam and the nearest intersection.. From the results of calculations and analysis, it can be seen that the construction of an elevated bridge has no significant impact on the decomposition of the congestion problem in the Kedaton area and its surroundings, this can be seen from the level of service on all roads in the study area with a value of V / C Ratio <0.75. Meanwhile, the average degree of saturation obtained from the analysis of intersections with signal and no signal> 0.75. Construction of a flyover which illustrates that it will unravel traffic jams, in fact the performance of the flyover and the main road underneath has not increased. This needs to be addressed immediately considering the current traffic flow in Kedaton and its surroundings is already saturated. Therefore, the growth of vehicles is on time, and public transportation facilities need to be improved. So that people begin to switch to public transportation in order to reduce the incidence of congestion on these roads. Keywords : Road Performance, Degree of Saturation, Level of Road Service

Abstract

Choosing the right mode of transportation is something that passengers want, but with the advantages and disadvantages of existing transportation modes can affect the number of users of these modes of transportation. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors and probability of choosing the mode of passenger transportation between trains and buses with the Bandar Lampung - Palembang route. The method used in this research is the Discrete Choice Model method, with the analysis used is linear regression analysis of the two models used, namely the difference binary logit model and the binary logit ratio. Based on the research results, the probability value from the bus mode selection analysis is known if the value (∆C) = 0, the probability value with the binary logit model is the difference = 35%, and if the value (∆C) = 100000 then the probability value increases to 41%. Meanwhile, if (C1 / C2) = 0.1, then the probability value with the binary logit model ratio = 58%, and if the value (C1 / C2) = 1 then the probability value increases to 35%. From the results of the analysis carried out, the dominant factors influence the choice of mode of transportation by route Bandar Lampung - Palembang is the cost of transportation cheap, and comfort level of service.Keywords : modal choice, binary logit, discrete choice model, probability

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the types of damage to the flexible pavement surface layer, to determine the index value of the pavement condition on the P. Tirtayasa road section based on the PCI (Pavement Condition Index) method, so that these results can be used in the preparation of road maintenance programs. The results of this study are the average of Pavement Condition Index (PCI) value on P. Tirtayasa street is 49.4 with moderate conditions (fair). The most dominant type of damage was patches with a damaged area of 2378.96 m (44.7%), then crocodile cracks with a damaged area of 1375.01 m (25.8%). Judging from the damage to the existing roads, it is necessary to patch, cover cracks, fill cracks, pave and smooth the roads for the damage that has occurred and then overlay and continue with a routine maintenance program. Keywords: road damage, PCI method, road maintenance.

Abstract

AbstractTraffic jam is a problem that always exists as an area develops, especially at the Untung Suropati intersection in Bandarlampung City. To solve the problem, a fly over is built and a feasibility study is needed.Feasibility studies conducted are reviewed in terms of traffic performance using pkji method. In terms of economy, it is reviewed from BCR and NPV parameters by analyzing saving of vehicle operating costs variables and Vehicle Travel Time Value.With the development, the degree of saturation for the direction of Labuhan Dalam – Labuhan Ratu decreased from 0.57 to 0.32, for the direction of Labuhan Ratu – Labuhan Dalam reduced from 0.66 to 0.32, for way Halim – Rajabasa reduced from 0.80 to 0.41 and for rajabasa direction – Way Halim reduced from 0.82 to 0.46 so it is said to be feasible in terms of traffic performance. In terms of economy obtained bcr value is 10,059 and NPV is Rp 398,062,846,073.96. So in terms of economics it is said to be feasible.Keywords: Feasibility, Flyover, Traffic jam

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus causes a decrease in the activity of transportation movements on the R.A. Kartini. As a result of the decrease in transportation movement, it can have a positive effect, namely the reduction of traffic jams on Jalan RA Kartini. In connection with the above problems, it is necessary to study the road performance of R.A. Kartini during the new normal period which can then be compared with the road performance of R.A. Kartini during normal times, in order to find out how much changes in traffic performance on R.A. Kartini due to Covid-19. Thus, this study aims to determine the road performance of R.A. Kartini in new normal condition and normal condition. The results of this study indicate that there has been a change in the level of road services on Jalan R.A. Kartini with road service level during normal condition class D becomes class B road service level when new normal condition.Key words: Road Performance, Degree of Saturation, Traffic Volume, Capacity.

Abstract

Parking is a temporary condition of not moving a vehicle. One of the parking requirements is Pasar Bambu Kuning Bandar Lampung. However, they prefer to park on the shoulder of the road and cause congestion around the market. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the characteristics of parking at Pasar Bambu Kuning in Bandar Lampung and to analyze the capacity and needs of parking spaces at Pasar Bambu Kuning in Bandar Lampung.  The results showed that the highest frequency of four-wheeled vehicles was 395 vehicles / 3 hours, while the highest frequency of two-wheeled vehicles was 653 vehicles / 5 hours in on-street conditions. The highest parking turnover rates for four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles are 1.518 vehicles / SRP / hour and 0.445 vehicles / SRP / hour, respectively, then the highest parking index values for four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles are 144% and 72.5%, respectively. . The maximum parking capacity for four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles is 281 vehicles / hour and 618 vehicles / hour respectively and the parking requirements for four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles are 73 SRP and 82 SRP. Keywords: parking, parking accumulation, frequency, average duration, cumulative frequency, turnover rate, parking capacity, parking demand.

Abstract

The impact of the shadow terminal has caused the congestion and the unrest for road users. This is due to side obstructions caused by pedestrians, buses, cars, and other transportation waiting and picking up passengers around the road, resulting in buildup around the shadow terminal. As a result of the accumulation around the shadow terminal, it caused traffic jams on the Soekarno Hatta - Natar road. In connection with the above problems, it is necessary to study the impact of the shadow terminal on the Soekarno Hatta - Natar road section which can then be compared with the performance of the Soekarno Hatta - Natar road in the absence of a shadow terminal, in order to find out how much traffic performance changes on Soekarno Hatta road - Natar due to the shadow terminal. Thus, this study aims to determine the performance of the Soekarno Hatta - Natar road when there is a shadow terminal and when there is no shadow terminal. The results of this study indicate that there is a change in the value of the side friction in the condition of the shadow terminal on Monday with an event weight of 314 events with a side drag in the absence of a shadow terminal of 213 events. The difference in the value of the side friction will result in a decrease in the value of road capacity, degree of saturation and level of road services. Key words : Road Performance, Side Obstructions, Degree of Saturation, Capacity, Level of Service.

Abstract

Tanah merupakan salah satu bagian penting dalam pekerjaan konstruksi teknik sipil. Kekuatan tanah dasar sangat penting guna menopang beban konstruksi. Beberapa cara untuk mengestimasi nilai CBR adalah dengan soil grading dan data plastisitas tanah. Namun pada kenyataannya di lapangan, banyak kendala yang dihadapi maka seringkali dilakukan uji DCP (Dynamic Cone Penetrometer). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui persamaan hubungan antara CBR laboratorium dan DCP serta perbandingannya dengan persamaan SNI. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menguji tanah di Teluk Ratai Kabupaten Pesawaran pada tiga titik dengan pengujian CBR laboratorium (Unsoaked), DCP mould, dan DCP lapangan. Sampel tanah dipadatkan dengan variasi pemadatan 10, 25, dan 56 tumbukan dan kadar air optimum sebesar 22,95% yang didapat dari uji pemadatan dengan proctor modified. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persamaan korelasi CBR Laboratorium dengan gd adalah y = 30,878x – 26,98 dengan korelasi persamaan CBR dan DCP didapat Log (CBR) = 2,26557 – 0,807 Log (DCP). Bila dibandingkan dengan nilai CBR hasil persamaan CBR SNI, nilai CBR dari persamaan CBR dan DCP memiliki nilai yang lebih tinggi. Kata kunci : tanah, daya dukung, CBR laboratorium, DCP lapangan.
