Abstract

The Tugu Dam is one of the National Strategic Projects located in Trenggalek, East Java. Dam construction is an old practice, so history of dam shows great innovations in engineering. The innovations are not only for foundation design, but for foundation failure repairing. In the conduit of the Tugu dam, there is displacement as far as 20 mm - 60 mm. The alternative foundation failure repairing is grouting. The purpose of this study is to identify problems in the foundation failure of Conduit Tugu Dam and to evaluate the effectiveness of grouting based on the lugeon value and displacement value in the simulation by software. The results of the investigation that obtained a colovial layer as deep as 15-28 (m) in the displacement. The Lugeon Value area by testing the water pressure is 3,54 – 104,13. After the grouting work is done and the water pressure test is carried out, the Lugeon value on the Check Hole is 1,01 – 4,95 so that the grouting effectiveness is 75% (good category). The results using sigma/w show that displacement without using grout is -0,394 (m) alternative 1 is -0,027 (m), alternative 2 is -0,051(m), alternative 3 is -0,034 (m) and alternative 4 is -0,026 (m).

Abstract

This paper reports the results of an investigation of the durability of the AC-WC mixture using latex based on the SNI 6753:2015 test method. This method uses a test object with a low density (7% air void), while another method, namely Bina Marga (BM) 2018 which is more often applied in the field, uses a normal density test object (air void 4%). The product of these two different methods needs to be evaluated. On the other hand, the performance of latex on the durability of the AC-WC mixture at low density also needs to be studied. The main objective of the research is to study the durability of the AC-WC mixture using latex based on the SNI test method, compare it with the BM method, and at the same time evaluate these two test methods. The research method used is to conduct durability tests in the laboratory on test objects with low and normal densities. Two types of specimens were prepared, namely without and with latex, both were tested in conditions without and with immersion. The properties of the test object were evaluated using Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS). The test results were studied and compared, including to evaluate the two test methods. The results of the study concluded that the AC-WC mixture at low density (7% air void) had high durability with an IKS value above 90%. The value of the durability of the mixture is higher when using latex and at normal density (4% air void). The SNI 6753:2015 test method that uses 7% air void specimens is more recommended for evaluating the durability of asphalt mixtures.

Abstract

Many road pavements using asphalt mixtures in Indonesia are found to be not durable, especially heavy traffic roads. Even road damage often occurs early before the service life is reached. Many efforts have been made to improve the strength and durability of the mixture, but have not been effectively. For example, the use of fillers can increase the strength and durability of the mixture significantly, but its performance at low temperatures has an impact on the risk of hardening and cracking. The research objective is to propose the idea of implementing nanotechnology for palm oil waste materials to increase the durability of road pavement materials based on the research roadmap developed. The method used is through five approaches, namely: (i) review of research results on the durability of road pavement materials, (ii) review of research results on the implementation of nanotechnology in road pavement materials, (iii) research gaps, (iv) research ideas, and, (v) proposed research roadmap. A research roadmap for the implementation of nanotechnology to improve the durability of road pavement materials has been prepared. The substance of the research roadmap proposes three ideas, namely maximizing the function of nanomaterials as: (i) anti-aging agent, (ii) protecting water infiltration into the body of the asphalt mixture, and (iii) bonding agent between asphalt-aggregate.

Abstract

Campuran beraspal dingin dapat berbentuk campuran foamedasphalt ataupun campuran aspal emulsi. Jenis campuran ini semakindikenal karena efektif untuk penggunaan teknologi daur ulangperkerasan jalan. Dalam campuran ini, bahan agregat dalamkeadaan dingin dicampur dengan foamed bitumen atau aspal emulsi,akan menghasilkan campuran yang ramah lingkungan dansustainable. Sayangnya, campuran ini belum masif dimanfaatkan dilapangan karena teknologinya belum banyak dikenal dan memilikiresiko nilai stabilitas kurang baik, serta kinerja kurang konsisten.Oleh karenanya perlu ada seperangkat penelitian untuk merubahposisinya menjadi campuran yang lebih kompetitif dengan nilaistabilitas yang lebih baik dan kinerjanya konsisten. Maka perludibangun peta jalan penelitian terkait dengan jenis campuran ini.Peta jalan dibangun dengan mengintegrasikan hasil-hasil penelitiandan mengidentifikasikan kebutuhan penelitian di masa mendatang.Peta jalan memiliki 6 tahap yakni (1) mengembangkan hubunganantara propertis foamed bitumen dan kinerja campuran, (2)pendalaman teori foamed bitumen, (3) investigasi agregat RAP, (4)kebijakan penggunaan bahan jalan ramah lingkungan, (5) investigasipropertis campuran foamed asphalt, (6) investigasi propertiscampuran aspal emulsi, dan (7) prospek agenda penelitianselanjutnya: peningkatan nilai stabilitas campuran dan penggunaanagregat limbah perkerasan beton.

Abstract

he background of the campus 4 mosque UMS construction was because the capacity of the old mosque was very limited and to facilitate the participants of the Muhammadiyah congress. The construction is carried out on the self-managed basis. Construction work carried out with a very short period of time has a risk of controlling aspects, both quality, time, and cost. The purpose of the community service activity is to carry out supervision of the construction process for the foundation construction of the campus 4 UMS mosque. The method of community service activities uses a direct supervision approach in the field through quality, time, and cost control. Quality control is carried out with scheduled supervision of daily work and material quality testing. Time control is carried out using the basis of the work schedule plan and S curve. Meanwhile, cost control is carried out using the cost budget plan basis. The work supervision service activities resulted in the following: (i) the progress of the work was more controlled, (ii) the quality of the foundation materials was more standard and according to specifications, (iii) there was no delay in work, and (iv) the cash flow of project costs had to be anticipated by the contractor.

Abstract

Proses pembangunan fly over (FO) biasanya diikuti dengan kebutuhan tanah bila luasan tanah eksisting tidak mencukupi. Kebutuhan tanah tersebut kemudian ditindaklanjuti dengan pengadaan tanah yang prosesnya harus selesai sebelum pembangunan fisik dimulai. Di lapangan proses tersebut sering mengalami berbagai kendala, diantaranya kendala pendanaan, proses pelaksanaan, dan kendala lainnya. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk memberi bantuan konsultansi upaya penyelesaian masalah proses pengadaan tanah untuk mendorong percepatan proses pelaksanaan pembebasan tanah pembangunan FO Dermoleng dan FO Klonengan, Brebes Jawa Tengah. Metode kegiatan PkM ini dilakukan dengan memberi bantuan teknis penyelesaian masalah yang terjadi pada pengadaan tanah. Tim PkM bekerjasama dengan Balai PUPR mengumpulkan data lapangan dan wawancara dengan pihak terkait. Rekomendasi disusun berdasarkan hasil analisis data lapangan dan hasil diskusi dengan pihak Balai PUPR. Pada FO Dermoleng telah diberikan solusi terhadap masalah penyelesaian tanah wakaf tidak melalui ijin Kemenag Kabupaten, satu bidang tanah tidak melalui ijin nazhir, dan menggunakan sistem UGR yang diberikan kepada pihak nadzir dan ahli waris. Sedangkan pada FO Klonengan telah diberikan solusi terhadap masalah adanya satu bidang tanah Perhutani belum dibebaskan.

Abstract

Artikel ini adalah laporan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk KKN Mas (Kuliah Kerja Nyata Mahasiswa Perguruan Tinggi Muhammadiyah dan Aisyiyah) di desa Mesanggok Kecamatan Gerung Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Desa Mesanggok adalah sebuah desa yang letaknya sangat strategis dan memiliki berbagai potensi alam, SDM, pengalaman, dan kearifan lokal lainnya. Namun demikian desa Mesanggok memiliki beberapa permasalahan terkait dengan penyelenggaraan pemerintahan desa, pembangunan desa, penyelenggaraan program pendidikan dan kesehatan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini maka dilaksanakan program KKN Mas dengan tujuan untuk membantu pemerintahan desa dan memfasilitasi masyarakat menuju terbentuknya masyarakat yang mandiri dan sejahtera. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah melalui 6 tahap kegiatan: observasi & wawancara, menemukan masalah, analisis masalah, perencanaan kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah menghasilkan 3 kegiatan utama bidang pendidikan, 2 kegiatan utama bidang kesehatan, dan sebuah grand design pengembangan potensi wisata desa berbasis Edu-Sehat. Tiga kegiatan bidang pendidikan adalah pembuatan rumah belajar (RUBELA), baca dan hafalan al_Qur’an (BAHA-AQ), dan mengasah ketrampilan elektro pelajar (SMK TE BISA).  Sedangkan dua kegiatan bidang kesehatan adalah sosialisasi edukasi kesehatan masyarakat (SOSI EDU-SEHAT), dan penerapan hidup sehat melalui percontohan (MODEL SEHAT). Gambar grand design wisata desa Mesanggok dilengkapi dengan penataan lokasi mini gallery model pendidikan dan kesehatan, sudut-sudut keindahan alam desa, desain jaringan jalan dan sungai, desain lampu jalan berbasis energi matahari, dan desain penyiram tanaman otomatis.

Abstract

Tanggungjawab masyarakat yang rendah dan paradigma kumpul-angkut-buang sampah membuat kegiatan pengelolaan sampah kurang optimal. Masalah ini juga terjadi pada kawasan universitas, termasuk Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat rencana desain infrastruktur pengolahan sampah Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) dengan memperhatikan peraturan yang berlaku. Data yang digunakan berupa data eksisting kondisi sarana dan prasarana pengelolaan sampah beserta pola pelayanannya, serta jumlah mahasiswa, dosen dan tenaga pendidik. Perencanaan infrastruktur Tempat Pengolahan Sampah Terpadu (TPST) didasarkan pada Permen PU No. 03/PRT/M/2013. Hasil penelitian didapatkan jenis sampah yang ada berupa plastik, organik, kardus dan kertas, kaca, konstruksi, laboratorium, balokan, elektronik, dan B3 non medis. Pola pelayanan pengelolaan sudah baik namun kegiatan pemilahan sampah dari sumber belum dikoordinasi oleh pihak UMS. Prioritas daerah layanan untuk semua kawasan menempati peringkat 1 kecuali Kampus 3. Proyeksi timbulan sampah Tahun 2031 didapatkan total 25,97 m3/hari dan digunakan untuk merencanakan sarana TPST mencakup pengadaan 263 tempat sampah ukuran 50 L, dan 78 buah ukuran 150 L, 1 kontainer 4 m3, dan 3 unit Arm Roll Truck kapasitas 6 m3. Jumlah tersebut juga untuk mendesain prasarana yang meliputi Bangunan Hanggar, Jembatan Timbang, Bengkel, Bank Sampah, Kantor, Musholla, Rumah Genset, Menara Air, dan Tempat Cuci Kendaraan. Pola pelayanan rencana mengikuti eksisting dengan menambahkan kegiatan pengolahan sampah di TPST.
