Abstract

Prioritizing school building maintenance solely based on structural damage often leads to inefficient budget allocation and fewer beneficiaries. The research introduced an integrated Cost-User Effectiveness Ratio (CUER) to establish maintenance priorities by combining three critical factors: damage severity, maintenance costs, and the number of affected students. The CUER formulation employed the Geometric Mean or the root mean multiplication of the cost effectiveness and user effectiveness ratio to balance these factors systematically. The methodology encompassed several steps, including damage assessment and calculation of component importance weights using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), to determine integrated damage levels, costs, and student weights. These inputs were subsequently used to generate priority rankings of schools requiring maintenance. As a result, the case study in Wonogiri Regency illustrates the superiority of the proposed method over the conventional method. While the conventional approach prioritizes 27 schools benefiting 2,442 students, the CUER approach prioritizes 33 schools benefiting 2,957 students, demonstrating increased efficiency and broader impact. The CUER-based model presents a systematic and equitable solution to prioritize school building maintenance, ensuring the optimal allocation of resources and maximizing benefits within existing budgetary constraints. This innovative approach addresses current challenges in maintenance planning and offers significant implications for improving the management of educational infrastructure.

Abstract

Jalan Gatot Subroto merupakan salah satu jalur provinsi yang memiliki peran penting dalam menghubungkan Kabupaten Blora dengan Kabupaten Grobogan. Ruas jalan ini melintasi berbagai kawasan strategis, seperti area pendidikan, perkantoran, pusat perdagangan, serta wilayah industri, sehingga aktivitas lalu lintas di jalan ini cukup padat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji karakteristik kecelakaan yang terjadi di ruas jalan tersebut, mengidentifikasi titik-titik rawan kecelakaan (black spot dan black site), serta merumuskan langkah-langkah penanganan yang tepat guna meningkatkan keselamatan pengguna jalan. Analisis karakteristik kecelakaan didasarkan pada jumlah kejadian, tingkat fatalitas korban, faktor penyebab, jenis tabrakan, serta aspek demografi seperti usia dan jenis kelamin korban. Perhitungan angka kecelakaan dilakukan dengan metode Equivalent Accident Number (EAN), sementara penentuan lokasi rawan kecelakaan menggunakan pendekatan Batas Kontrol Atas (BKA) dan Upper Control Limit (UCL). Hasil analisis data kecelakaan selama lima tahun terakhir (2018-2022) menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 136 kejadian kecelakaan, dengan mayoritas korban mengalami luka ringan sebanyak 200 orang. Faktor utama penyebab kecelakaan adalah unsur manusia, dengan 78 insiden atau 57,35% dari total kejadian. Selain itu, berdasarkan metode UCL dan BKA, ditemukan lima titik black spot dan empat titik black site yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus. Pengamatan langsung di lapangan juga mengungkapkan bahwa beberapa faktor yang dapat meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan di masa depan antara lain kondisi jalan yang berlubang, perilaku pengendara yang kurang disiplin, serta tingginya tingkat aktivitas di sekitar jalan akibat keberadaan kawasan pendidikan, perkantoran, perdagangan, dan industri.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, people with heart disease are patients who are at high risk of severe severity if exposed (Indonesian Association of Cardiovascular Specialists, 2020). Chairman of the Central Board of the Indonesian Association of Cardiovascular Specialists (PERKI), Isman Firdaus, said that the Covid-19 pandemic which has been going on since the end of 2019 has become a concern for heart disease sufferers. Considering that exposure to any infection, including Covid-19 infection, can worsen cardiovascular diseases such as the recurrence of coronary heart disease or chronic heart failure (RI, 2019). One of the important efforts in preventing the occurrence of cardiovascular disease that can be done is to identify the risk factors for cardiovascular disease from each individual. There are several models to detect risk, one of which is by using the Jakarta cardiovascular score [2]. Health promotion is also one of the efforts in managing modifiable risk factors for heart disease (Handayani, 2010). Health promotion is expected to prevent risky behaviors that lead to an increased incidence of heart disease in the long term. This study aims to see the effectiveness of early detection and health promotion on changes in attitudes and lifestyles of residents at risk of heart disease after the covid-19 pandemic. The research method in this study uses a quasi-experimental design with a total of 30 respondents in a group of 1. The research was conducted in the working area of the Puskesmas of Pasar Minngu District, Jakarta. The results showed that after intervention by conducting early detection and providing health promotion, there was a change in attitude of 0.8 points, from 88.13 (before the intervention) to 88.95 (after the intervention). The results of the T test were obtained p value = 0.004, meaning that statistically there was a significant difference between before and after the intervention. The respondents' lifestyle also changed by 5.5 points, from 66.03 (before the intervention) to 71.62 (after the intervention) with p value = 0.004 which means that statistically there is a significant difference between before the intervention and after the intervention was carried out.

Abstract

Clean water is a fundamental need at the heart of individual and community life. Lack of clean water can have a significant impact on various aspects of life, including health, social and economic. In Indonesia, many villages are still facing a clean water crisis, one of which is Taman Sari Village. This problem requires a solution in the form of an efficient clean water pipeline network planning system to distribute water evenly and meet the needs of the community. This study aims to calculate the daily clean water needs of the Taman Sari Village community and design an efficient clean water pipe network system. In addition, this study also aims to determine the appropriate and efficient method of water distribution through pipe network analysis. Field survey data was used as the basis for calculations to ensure a system design that is relevant and appropriate to local conditions. The analysis and simulation process was conducted using EPANET software, which is capable of modeling water flow in pipe networks in a detailed and accurate manner. With the help of this software, water distribution calculations are performed to ensure the network design can optimally meet the clean water needs of the community. The research results are expected to not only provide a solution to the clean water crisis in Taman Sari Village but also become a planning model that can be applied in other areas with similar conditions. The implementation of this system is believed to increase access to clean water, improve quality of life, and support sustainable development at the local and national levels.

Abstract

Campuran beraspal dingin dapat berbentuk campuran foamedasphalt ataupun campuran aspal emulsi. Jenis campuran ini semakindikenal karena efektif untuk penggunaan teknologi daur ulangperkerasan jalan. Dalam campuran ini, bahan agregat dalamkeadaan dingin dicampur dengan foamed bitumen atau aspal emulsi,akan menghasilkan campuran yang ramah lingkungan dansustainable. Sayangnya, campuran ini belum masif dimanfaatkan dilapangan karena teknologinya belum banyak dikenal dan memilikiresiko nilai stabilitas kurang baik, serta kinerja kurang konsisten.Oleh karenanya perlu ada seperangkat penelitian untuk merubahposisinya menjadi campuran yang lebih kompetitif dengan nilaistabilitas yang lebih baik dan kinerjanya konsisten. Maka perludibangun peta jalan penelitian terkait dengan jenis campuran ini.Peta jalan dibangun dengan mengintegrasikan hasil-hasil penelitiandan mengidentifikasikan kebutuhan penelitian di masa mendatang.Peta jalan memiliki 6 tahap yakni (1) mengembangkan hubunganantara propertis foamed bitumen dan kinerja campuran, (2)pendalaman teori foamed bitumen, (3) investigasi agregat RAP, (4)kebijakan penggunaan bahan jalan ramah lingkungan, (5) investigasipropertis campuran foamed asphalt, (6) investigasi propertiscampuran aspal emulsi, dan (7) prospek agenda penelitianselanjutnya: peningkatan nilai stabilitas campuran dan penggunaanagregat limbah perkerasan beton.

Abstract

he background of the campus 4 mosque UMS construction was because the capacity of the old mosque was very limited and to facilitate the participants of the Muhammadiyah congress. The construction is carried out on the self-managed basis. Construction work carried out with a very short period of time has a risk of controlling aspects, both quality, time, and cost. The purpose of the community service activity is to carry out supervision of the construction process for the foundation construction of the campus 4 UMS mosque. The method of community service activities uses a direct supervision approach in the field through quality, time, and cost control. Quality control is carried out with scheduled supervision of daily work and material quality testing. Time control is carried out using the basis of the work schedule plan and S curve. Meanwhile, cost control is carried out using the cost budget plan basis. The work supervision service activities resulted in the following: (i) the progress of the work was more controlled, (ii) the quality of the foundation materials was more standard and according to specifications, (iii) there was no delay in work, and (iv) the cash flow of project costs had to be anticipated by the contractor.

Abstract

Proses pembangunan fly over (FO) biasanya diikuti dengan kebutuhan tanah bila luasan tanah eksisting tidak mencukupi. Kebutuhan tanah tersebut kemudian ditindaklanjuti dengan pengadaan tanah yang prosesnya harus selesai sebelum pembangunan fisik dimulai. Di lapangan proses tersebut sering mengalami berbagai kendala, diantaranya kendala pendanaan, proses pelaksanaan, dan kendala lainnya. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk memberi bantuan konsultansi upaya penyelesaian masalah proses pengadaan tanah untuk mendorong percepatan proses pelaksanaan pembebasan tanah pembangunan FO Dermoleng dan FO Klonengan, Brebes Jawa Tengah. Metode kegiatan PkM ini dilakukan dengan memberi bantuan teknis penyelesaian masalah yang terjadi pada pengadaan tanah. Tim PkM bekerjasama dengan Balai PUPR mengumpulkan data lapangan dan wawancara dengan pihak terkait. Rekomendasi disusun berdasarkan hasil analisis data lapangan dan hasil diskusi dengan pihak Balai PUPR. Pada FO Dermoleng telah diberikan solusi terhadap masalah penyelesaian tanah wakaf tidak melalui ijin Kemenag Kabupaten, satu bidang tanah tidak melalui ijin nazhir, dan menggunakan sistem UGR yang diberikan kepada pihak nadzir dan ahli waris. Sedangkan pada FO Klonengan telah diberikan solusi terhadap masalah adanya satu bidang tanah Perhutani belum dibebaskan.

Abstract

The Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka Program is an application of collaborative learning, which aims to strive for graduate abilities, both soft skills and hard skills, so that graduates are ready and in accordance with the demands of the times, planning graduates as future leaders with character. This research is part of the first MBKM Research in the Civil Engineering Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, which involves several parties outside the scope of the Civil Engineering discipline. The purpose of this research is to share the experience of the MBKM research program, as well as to find out the results of nano aging asphalt. The method used is laboratory experiments in the form of testing the physical properties of asphalt (Penetration, Softening Point, Specific Weight, Ductility), and supporting testing results (SEM-EDX and FTIR). The results showed that the MBKM research program demonstrated the continuity between engineering sciences, as well as improved the quality of nano aging asphalt.

Abstract

 The Gajah Mungkur Reservoir is one of the popular destinations by the people of Wonogiri. The Regional Government of Wonogiri Regency plans to develop the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir in 2024. The development plan for the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir is predicted to have the potential to have potential impact on decreasing the performance of the road network and intersections in the surrounding area, so a study is needed regarding the current performance of parking, road networks and intersections, current generation and attraction, parking performance, road and intersection networks after development and handling traffic impacts due to development. The analysis method uses MKJI 1997. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the performance of Jalan Wonogiri - Manyaran - Blimbing/Bts. Provinsi DIY (B-T) in the 2023 Existing condition has a saturation degree of DS=0.43 with a service level of "B", while for Jalan Wonogiri - Manyaran - Blimbing/Bts. Prov. DIY (T-B), degree of saturation DS=0.39 with service level "B". The performance of Simpang 4 Pintu Masuk on the 2023 Existing has a degree of saturation DS=0.407; Queue Opportunity is 19.14% and the intersection delay is 7.89 seconds/pcu with a service level of "B". Performance of Simpang 4 Pintu Keluar in 2023 Existing has a degree of saturation DS=0.450; the Queue Opportunity is 21.59% and the intersection delay is 8.40 seconds/pcu with a service level of "B". In the existing conditions in 2023, the attraction of the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir is 155.38 pcu/hour and the generation is 116.88 pcu/hour. In 2024 construction period until 2027 after development, the performance of Jalan Wonogiri - Manyaran - Blimbing/Bts. Provinsi DIY is still in good condition with a service level of "C". However, in 2028 after development, the performance of the Jalan Wonogiri - Manyaran - Blimbing/Bts. Provinsi DIY has a decrease in performance and an increase in the DS value where the performance of the Jalan Wonogiri - Manyaran - Blimbing/Bts. Provinsi DIY (B-T) has DS = 0.76 with a service level of "D" while for Jalan Wonogiri-Manyaran-Blimbing/Bts. Prov. DIY (T-B) has DS = 0.60 with a service level of "C". The performance of Simpang 4 Pintu Masuk in 2028 with development has a degree of saturation DS=0.583; the chance of queuing is 30.58% and the intersection delay is 9.76 seconds/pcu with a service level of "B". The performance of Simpang 4 Pintu Keluar in 2028 with development has a degree of saturation DS=0.643; Queue Opportunity is 35.53% and the intersection delay is 10.44 seconds/pcu with a service level of "B". Parking performance, both existing and after development, is still able to accommodate all vehicles entering the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir. Recommendations for handling traffic impacts (Do Something) due to the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir Development consist of 2 alternatives, namely alternative 1 by reducing side obstacles by controlling street vendors on the road shoulder and prohibiting on-street parking while alternative 2 is by arranging separation of traffic directions on the Jalan Wonogiri - Manyaran - Blimbing/Bts. Prov. DIY. Of the two treatment alternatives, alternative 1 provides better results than alternative 2. Performance of the Jalan Wonogiri - Manyaran - Blimbing/Bts. Provinsi DIY experienced a decrease in the DS value for each direction from the previous DS=0.76 with a service level of "D" for the B-T direction to DS=0.74 with a service level of "C" while for the T-B direction from the previous DS=0.60 with service level "C" becomes DS=0.59 with the same service level, namely "C". The performance of Simpang 4 Pintu Masuk in the 2028 with Development & Do Something 1 shows good results, with a degree of saturation of 0.576; Queue Opportunity is 30.11% and the intersection delay is 9.69 seconds/pcu with a service level of "B". The performance of Simpang 4 Pintu Keluar in 2028 with Development & Do Something 1 shows good results, with a degree of saturation of 0.637; the Queue Opportunity is 34.95% and the intersection delay is 10.37 seconds/pcu with a service level of "B". Apart from that, it is also recommended to put several road equipment both inside and outside the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir location.

Abstract

Ruas Jalan Caruban-Ngawi mempunyai beban lalu lintas yang sangat tinggi dan padat terutama jumlah kendaraan berat yang melintas. Secara aspek geoteknik perlu diperhatikan ruas jalan pada badan jalan yang merupakan jenis tanah lunak (soft soil), sehingga banyak ditemukan permasalahan kemampuan daya dukung dan stabilitas tanah lunak seperti kuat dukung dan kuat geser yang rendah dan tidak stabil. Jika beban telah bekerja di atas timbunan badan jalan, dalam kurun waktu tertentu akan terjadi penurunan yang akan berlangsung dalam waktu lama. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan perkuatan geosintetik sehingga perlu dievaluasi penempatan/penggunaan geosintetik dan penurunan yang terjadi. Pengujian dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas perbaikan Jalan Caruban–Ngawi KM 158+600 sampai dengan KM 160+600 yang menggunakan geotekstil. Dengan mengevaluasi teknik metode pelaksanaan dan evaluasi yang dilakukan, diawali dari data penyelidikan tanah, pengujian laboratorium, melakukan analisis perkuatan terhadap geotekstil yang digunakan, melakukan pemeriksaan mengenai penurunan, serta mengetahui besarnya settlement yang terjadi dari data yang diperoleh dengan mendasarkan data penyelidikan tanah dari Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Balitbang) Dapartemen Pekerjaan Umum Provinsi Jawa Timur. Perbaikan di atas tanah lunak dengan perkuatan geotekstil pada ruas Jalan Caruban–Ngawi KM 158+600 sampai dengan KM 160+600 sangat efektif. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan daya dukung tanah meningkat, kondisi jalan lebih stabil, tingkat keawetan jalan lebih lama, perawatan jalan berkurang, dan pengguna jalan lebih nyaman.
