Abstract

The purpose of this research is to preserve one of Balinese building, Lempuyang Luhur Tempel which is located in Bisbis Hill. In that area, there are landslides and erosion that happened often and risk the temple's holy building. This software is built using augmented reality technology so this software can be one of educational interactive media in learning Lempuyang temple. The narration of this application is made in English so it can also be used as a media to introduce Balinese culture which is known as 'Island of Thousand Temples' in the international community. The research method used in this project is a research and development using waterfall model, there are requirements definition phase (phase of information gathering and system requirement analysis), system and software design (phase of making application design), implementation, and system and software testing. The result of this research is a book that containing information and images related to Pura Lempuyang and an augmented reality application that can be installed on Android smartphones. The images on the book also functioned as a marker for augmented reality applications which capable of displaying objects of Lempuyang Landscape and Lempuyang temple building Layout in 3 dimensional forms. When application displaying 3D objects, this application also equipped with voice narration and explanation in English and music background.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out whether there was a significant difference toward cognitive learning achievement in Information Technology (ICT) subject between groups of students who were taught using Discovery Learning Strategy and those who were taught using conventional strategy. This study was categorized into pseudo experiment (quasi experiment) in which Control Grup Design was used as research design in this study. The population of this research was eleventh grade students of SMA 1 Gianyar in the academic year 2012/2013. The sample of this study was the eleventh grade of science class 4 eleventh grade of science class 6 with the total number of sample was 64. The eleventh grade of science class 4 was used as the experiment class while the eleventh grade of science class 6 was used as the control class. Multiple choices test was used as the data collection to measure the students’ cognitive aspect. Precondition test was conducted to analyze the data including normality testing and homogeneity testing and hypothesis testing in the form of T Relating to the result of the analys found that the normality and the homogeneity of both groups were normally and homogeneity distributed. The average score of the group of students who were taught using discovery learning strategy was higher than the group of students who were ta direct learning strategy.The result of the analysis showed that tcalculation > ttable, the implementation of discovery learning strategy influenced significantly toward cognitive learning achievement in ICT subject for the eleventh grade students of science class of SMA 1 Gianyar in the academic year 2012/2013.

Abstract

Pura Catur Loka Phalamerupakan empat pura yang mengitari Padma Tiga(Penataran Agung) di Pura Besakih. KeberadaanPura Besakih yang terletak di kaki Gunung Agung,sangat beresiko terkena bencana alam danmembahayakan Pura Besakih itu sendiri.Berdasarkan hal tersebut, perlu adanya usahapelestarian situs kebudayaan khusunya di Bali, salahsatunya adalah dengan cara memanfaatkanteknologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untukmemanfaatkan teknologi dengan caramengembangkan aplikasi yang dapat digunakansebagai media untuk mempelajari sekaligusmelestarikan Pura Catur Loka Phala Besakih.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalahpenelitian dan pengembangan, untukmengembangkan aplikasi Augmented Reality Bookpengenalan tata letak Bangunan Pura Catur LokaPhala Besakih, dengan menggunakan modelwaterfall sampai pada tahap pengujian sistem.Aplikasi ini menggunakan library vuforia yangmampu menampilkan objek 3 dimensi bangunanpura ke dalam sebuah lingkungan nyata denganmenggunakan bantuan buku dan smartphoneandroid. Hasil akhirnya berupa buku yang berisikaninformasi dan gambar terkait Pura Catur LokaPhala Besakih yang difungsikan sebagai penandadan juga aplikasi Augmented Reality Book berbasisandroid yang mampu menampilkan objek bangunanPura Catur Loka Phala dalam bentuk 3 dimensitepat di atas marker lengkap dengan suara narasipenjelasan. Aplikasi ini dapat dijadikan sebagaimedia untuk memperkenalkan sekaligusmelestarikan budaya bangsa.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to produce a valid, reliable, and practical portfolio assessment instrument to assess students ability, particularly to the development of assessment instruments portfolio discussion of hardware, software, and usefulness of the application program.  The validation process of the portfolio assessment instrument was conducted in two stages, namely through the theoretical validation and empirical validation.Validation of theoretical validation is determined by expert judgment or assessment, while the empirical validation is determined by the validity of the specific criteria for testing to student in order to measure the ability of students. For content validity rate was calculated using the  Gregory formula, and the value obtained classified in either category. Second step validation, was the data of empirical test results. This data then, was used to find the validity and reliability of the developed instrument. The instrument validity was calculated using the formula correlation product momment, the results obtained that 4 items were invalid, Item numbers 2, 8, 9, and 12, while for the instrument reliability  was calculated using Cronbach alpha formula which had moderate reliability value. For interater reliability involved two (2) teachers as assessors. From the data obtained, then it was calculated using the Ebel formula and had a value that was a very high degree of reliability. Furthermore, the practicality of the instrument was calculated using the theoretical ideal benchmark assessment, and had a very practical level criteria

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh penerapan e-modul berbasis metode pembelajaran problem based learning pada mata pelajaran pemrograman dasar terhadap hasil dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X Multimedia SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja, (2)mengetahui respon siswa kelas X Multimedia SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja terhadap penerapan e-modul berbasis metode pembelajaran problem based learning pada mata pelajaran pemrograman dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) dengan desain Post Test Only, With Non Equivalent Control Group Design.. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas X Multimedia SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas X MM 1 yang digunakan sebagai kelas control dan X MM 3 yang digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode tes uraian untuk mengukur hasil belajar, dan metode angket untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar siswa da respon siswa. Data hasil belajar kemudian dianalisis dengan melakukan uji prasyarat yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji- t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X Multimedia SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja antara siswa yang menggunakan E-Module dengan hasil belajar siswa yang beajar menggunakan bahan ajar konvensiona Hasil analisis uji-t memperoleh thitung sebesar 6,9492.dan ttabel sebesar 1,671untuk dk sebesar 58 dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian diperoleh thitung > ttabel, ini berarti H0 ditolak.Motivasi belajar siswa yang menggunakan E-Module dikatakan tinggi dilihat dari rata-rata motivasi belajar kelas eksperimen yaitu sebesar 131,83. (2) respon siswa dari penerapan E-Modul berbasis problem based learning pada mata pelajaran pemrograman dasar adalah positif dilihat dari rata – rata skor hasil angket respon siswa yaitu 78,07. Kata Kunci : quasi eksperimen, e-modul, pemrograman dasar, metode pembelajaran problem based learning. Abstract— The purposes of this research are (1) To know about the effect of e-module based on Problem Based Learning method for the Basic Programming toward Basic Programing learning result and learning motivation the X grade students at SMK Negeri 3 SIngaraja (2) To know the response of the 10th grade students in SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja toward about the effect of e-module based on Problem Based Learning method for the Basic Programming. The type of this research is quasi-experimental research with research design Post Test Only, With Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research includes all of 10th grade students of Multimedia in SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja academic year 2015/2016. The sample that used is X MM 1as a control class and X MM 3 as an experimental class. The data was collected using an essay test method to measure the learning result and questionnaire method to analyzed the learning motivation and the students responses. Data was analyzed Data was analyzed by studying the results of test preconditions including normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. The result of this research shows (1) that there was a significant effect toward the learning result of the 10th grade students in SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja among the students who were used e-modul of students who were used conventional learning modul. T-test analysis results obtained t count for 6,9492.and t table registration by 58 with 5% significance level. Based on criteria obatained t count > t table, this means that H0 is rejected. Learning motivation of the students who were used e-modul showed a high learning motivation with an average value of 131,83in experimental class. (2) results analysis of students responses showed a positive responses with an average responses value of 78,07. keyword : Quasi Experimental, E-Module, Basic Programming, Problem Based Learning Method.

Abstract

Abstrak-- Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis secara deskriptif faktor motivasi memasuki dunia kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK Negeri di bidang TIK se-Bali tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei yang menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMK Negeri di bidang TIK se-Bali tahun ajaran 2014/2015 dengan jumlah sampel 333 orang siswa. Penarikan sampel untuk penelitian ini berdasarkan Teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sanpling. Data penelitian dihimpun menggunakan angket dan dianalisis dengan metode analisis deskriptif untuk masing-masing tingkat gender. Interpretasi terhadap data dilakukan berdasarkan besaran persentase jawaban responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada responden laki-laki dan responden perempuan memiliki motivasi memasuki dunia kerja tinggi terhadap kesiapan kerja atau sebesar 49.67% dan 50.41%. Persentase responden laki-laki dan responden perempuan terhadap kesiapan kerja sebesar 58.43% dan 62.4%. Faktor motivasi memasuki dunia kerja yang dominan pada responden laki-laki dan responden perempuan adalah faktor desakan dan dorongan lingkungan yaitu 52.31% untuk responden laki-laki dan 52.81% untuk responden perempuan. Sedangkan ciri-ciri kesiapan kerja yang dominan yaitu mempunyai ambisi untuk responden laki-laki sebesar 62.66% dan beradaptasi dengan lingkungan untuk responden perempuan sebesar 71.3%. Kata-kata kunci: Survei, Motivasi, Kesiapan Kerja. Abstract-- This study aimed at analyzing motivation factor of entering work world toward work readiness of SMK Negeri students in the field ICT in Bali in the academic year 2014/2015. This study was a survey study which use descriptive method. The population of this study was 333 students. The sample withdrawal of this study was based on Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling Technique. The data were collected using questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive analysis method for each level of gender. The interpretation toward the data was conducted based on the percentage of the respondents answer. Based the result conducted on male and female respondents, the motivation in entering work world toward working readiness were 49.67% and 50.41%. The percentage of male and female respondents toward working readiness was 58.43% and 62.4%. The dominant factors of motivation on entering work world on male and female respondents were insistence and encouragement of environment factors that were 52.31% for male and 52.81% for female. The dominant characteristics of working readiness for male respondents were having ambitions that were 62.66%. Meanwhile, for the female respondents were the ability of adapting with society that was 71.3%. Keywords : Survey, Motivation, Working Readiness.

Abstract

The development of three-dimensional animated film "Tude The Movie – The Adventure of Si Rina (Kite Festival)", is the story of part 4 from 5 parts contained in the animated film ―Tude The Movie‖, this section tells where Tude, Rina and friends arrived in the second area of their destinations, which is Padang Galak beach, they had planned to watch the largest kite festival in Bali which is only held once a year, the participants of this festival came from all regions in Bali, there are also some types of kites that are following the contest such as Janggan (bird-shaped), Bebean (fish-shaped) and others New Creation. In this story Tude, Rina and his friends met with Made, and Made told them that bird which is carried by Rina is a rare species bird, that is Jalak Bali bird. Then, they were invited to participate on this contest. In the part of this film also as a medium to introduce Balinese kite culture, on some parts of the film also contains some moral messages such as, creativity in creating Balinese kites, teaches us to always try and work together to achieve a goal (in this case flying up the large kite and win), the preservation of nature by doing a bird rescue although we don’t know that is a rare bird, and it's not always the traditional ones is old-fashioned and such a boring thing. The aim of this study were: 1) Designing three-dimensional animated film "Tude The Movie-The Adventure of Si Rina (Kite Festival)‖. 2) Implementing three-dimensional animated film "Tude The Movie-The Adventure of Si Rina (Kite Festival)‖.In this 3D animation film making, we use block diagrams methods. This Block diagram describes the steps of making 3-D animated film Tude The Movie : Petualangan Si Rina (Festival Layang-layang) from start to finish. The steps In the block diagram is divided into three (3) main phases: 1) Pre-Production (Story idea, Script Writing / Sipnosis, Output Format Setting, Character Design, Image Design, and Making Storyboard), 2) Production (Modelling, Texturing, Ringging, Skining, Acting / Animation, Lighting, and Rendering), 3) Post Production (Recording and Merger process).The result is 3-dimensional animation format DVD. The film is expected to provide an exciting spectacle and educational for the audience, especially children. So with this young generation’s animations development can make local television interesting and no longer have to import 3D animation from other countries.

Abstract

Abstrak— Kebun Raya Eka Karya Bali memiliki banyak koleksi bunga diantaranya bunga mawar, bunga anggrek dan bunga begonia. Namun informasi yang menyertai bunga tersebut sangat minim sehingga pengunjung merasa kesulitan apabila ingin mengetahui informasi lebih lanjut dari bunga tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai media informasi untuk ajang memperkenalkan bunga di Kebun Raya Eka Karya Bali kepada masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Aplikasi Pengenalan Bunga Kebun Raya Eka Karya Bali Berbasis Markerless Augmented Reality ini dikembangkan dengan model waterfall. Aplikasi ini diimplementasikan dalam bahasa pemrograman Java dengan menggunakan editor Eclipse dan plug-ins ADT(Android Development Tools) serta menggunakan Metaio sebagai library untuk mendeteksi objek menggunakan Object Tracking. Aplikasi ini juga menggunakan AndEngine sebagai library untuk desain dan Metaio Toolbox sebagai alat bantu untuk membuat Tracking Data dari suatu objek. Fungsi utama dari aplikasi ini adalah mendeteksi bunga di Kebun Raya Eka Karya Bali, kemudian menampilkan informasi berupa nama bunga dan detail informasi terkait dengan bunga yang dideteksi.. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan, aplikasi ini dapat dijalankan pada perangkat Android yang diujikan dengan spesifikasi yang berbeda-beda. Seluruh fitur yang terdapat pada aplikasi ini dapat dijalankan pada semua perangkat yang diujikan. Kualitas suara dan musik yang dihasilkan sudah baik. Abstract — Eka Karya Bali Botanical Garden has a large collection of flowers including roses, orchids and begonias. However, the information that accompanies the flower was minimal so that visitors feel difficult if they want to know more information of the flower. The purpose of this research is to design and implement an application that can be used as a medium of information for the event to introduce interest in Eka Karya Bali Botanical Garden to the public. The research method using research and development. Introduction to Flower Recognition Application Based Markerless Augmented Reality was developed with the waterfall model. This application is implemented in Java programming language using the Eclipse editor and plug-ins ADT (Android Development Tools) and using additional tracking library Metaio as being able to perform a 3D object tracking. This application is also used AndEngine as a library for the design and Metaio Toolbox as a tool to make Tracking Data from the object. The main function of this application is to detect flowers in Eka Karya Bali Botanical Garden, then displays information such as the name of the flower and detail information associated with the detected flower. Based on the testing that has been done, the application can be run on Android devices tested with different specifications. All features contained in this application can run on all devices tested. Abstract

This research aimed to design and develop an application identifier balinese character learning that can be used to facilitate for people to recognize text characters Balinese more efficiently in term of time and place. This application is developed by using the template matching method. Input of this application is the writing of user using a digital pen, touchpad or mouse and the output is the image of Balinese character that has the smallest error value. Implementation of this template matching method produces a software called Balinese Character Matching. This application was developed using the PHP programming language which is a web programming language that can be used by many users without the limitations of space and time. In this application there are two main processes namely preprocessing and recognition by template matching methods. Preprocessing process consists of grayscale, thresholding and size normalization. In the size normalization conducted the search process limits, cropping, scaling, and labeling of 1 and 0. Testing program conducted by admin (person whose data is stored in the database) and user (person whose data is not stored in the database). For admin who test the program obtained more accurate result with an average of 95.45%, while the result of testing on the user obtained an average of 86.25%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Treffinger dan Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada mata pelajaran TIK, (2) respon siswa dalam penggunaan model Treffinger dan Problem Based Learning (PBL). Rancangan penelitian ini adalah “Post Test Only With Non Equivalent Control Group Design”. Populasi dari penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Laboratorium Undiksha. Sampel yang dipilih adalah kelas XI IPA1, XI IPA2, XI IPA3 yang berjumlah 76 orang. Kelas XI IPA2 digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 menggunakan model pembelajaran Treffinger, Kelas XI IPA1 digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Kelas XI IPA3 digunakan sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Terdapat dua jenis variabel dala penelitian ini yaitu (1) variabel bebas adalah model pembelajaran Treffinger, model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan model pembelajaran Konvensional, (2) variabel terikat adalah hasil belajar siswa. Data hasil belajar siswa dianalisis melalui uji prasyarat dengan hasil ketiga kelompok berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus ANOVA Satu Jalur dilanjutkan dengan uji pasangan menggunakan rumus t-Schefee. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh hasil (1) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Treffinger dan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada mata pelajaran TIK kelas XI di SMA Laboratorium Undiksha Singaraja, (2) nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok Treffinger lebih tinggi dari kelompok Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan kelompok Konvensional. Rata-rata respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Treffinger mencapai 83,280, dan rata-rata hasil respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) mencapai 76,923 yang berkategori positif. Selain skor respon siswa dikatakan positif, hal ini juga dapat dilihat dari langkah-langkah pembelajaran Treffinger, dimana siswa mampu memahami materi yang dipelajari. Kata Kunci : Studi Komparatif, model pembelajaran Treffinger, model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning(PBL), Hasil Belajar TIK dan Respon Siswa. The purpose of this study to determine (1) a significant difference to student learning result using model Treffinger and Problem Based Learning (PBL) on the subjects of ICT, (2) the response of students in the use of models Treffinger and Problem Based Learning (PBL ). The study design was a "Post Test Only With Non-Equivalent Control Group Design". The population of this research is all students of class XI SMA Undiksha Laboratory. The selected sample is a class XI IPA1, IPA2 XI, XI IPA3 totaling 76 people. Class XI IPA2 used as an experimental class 1 using model Treffinger, Class XI IPA1 use as an experimental class 2 using model Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Class XI IPA3 used as a control group using conventional learning models. There are two types of variables dala this study are (1) the independent variable is Treffinger learning models, learning model Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Conventional learning model, (2) the dependent variable is the student learning outcomes. Were analyzed student learning outcomes through the prerequisite test with the results of the three groups of normal distribution and homogeneous. ANOVA hypothesis testing using the formula One Strip continued by couples using the formula t-Schefee. From the results of the hypothesis test result (1) a significant difference to the learning outcomes of students who use the learning model Treffinger and learning model Problem Based Learning (PBL) on the subjects of ICT in class XI SMA Laboratory Undiksha Singaraja, (2) the average value Treffinger group of learning outcomes is higher than the group of Problem Based learning (PBL) and Conventional groups. The average response to the students 'learning model Treffinger reached 83.280, and the average results of students' response to the learning model Problem Based Learning (PBL) reached 76.923 categorized positive.
