Abstract

Green economics is the study of sustainable economic transformation with environmentally friendly principles. Many studies that position green economics discuss the energy transition and the influence of technological and scientific developments, including from the perspective of policy studies from the political realm. However, of the many articles, only a few specifically discuss topics with a legal perspective and Islamic economic principles. Even though the basic foundation of maqashid sharia is an essential element in protecting the environment and being sustainable, this research aims to see the extent of Islamic studies in the green economics sector. From the results of the bibliometric analysis, researchers also see many gaps between the green economy and the Islamic economy, one of which is in terms of sharia management, halal industry, sharia finance, social finance, sharia management still focuses on energy transformation and even though the governance side still has uncertain benchmarks. Meanwhile, the halal industry only discusses the term green supply chain. From various existing studies, the research only focuses on sustainable economic theory, while the discussion on Islamic-based green economics is not very in-depth and specific.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan pencapaian yang didambakan oleh setiap negara, di negara yang mayoritas penduduknya beragama Islam, sudah seharusnya instrumen keuangan syariah menjadi faktor pendorong utama pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah. Dan juga mengurangi disparitas antar daerah satu dengan lainnya. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana instrumen keuangan Islam meliputi; Zakat, Infak, dan Sedekah. Pembiayaan bank syariah dan juga dana pihak ketiga syariah. Yang diuji menggunakan e views 12, dengan data time series 2018-2021. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel X (Zakat, Infaq, Sedekah, Pembiayaan, Dana Pihak Ketiga) berpengaruh terhadap Y1 (Ketimpangan). Semua variabel X juga mempengaruhi Y2 (pertumbuhan ekonomi). Namun variabel Y1 (ketimpangan) tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi.

Abstract

Background: Technological advances have impacted intense business competition in the banking world, requiring all banks to compete in updating systems to maintain customer loyalty, which is essential to a business' success. Influencingtors influencing customer loyalty are service quality, banking image, and fairness. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine how customer satisfaction functions as a mediating factor between service quality, banking image, fairness and customer loyalty. Design/methodology/approach: Quantitative methods are used in this study. The population consists of Bank Muamalat customers. Accidental sampling was utilized as a research sampling method. The sample amounted to 210 respondents with research data using primary data. The SmartPLS 3.3 analysis tool was used to assist this research. Findings/Result: The findings of this study show that CARTER service quality can significantly improve customer loyalty at Bank Muamalat Malang. A favorable banking image has a strong positive impact on customer loyalty. Likewise, the Maqashid Syari'ah Index (MSI) fairness concept can have a direct impact on consumer loyalty. In addition, the study's findings suggest that customer happiness can mediate the impact of service quality, image, and fairness on customer loyalty. Conclusion: This study shows that service quality and banking image have a substantial impact on customer loyalty. At the same time, the concept of fairness has a substantial impact on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction can mediate the impact of service quality, banking image, and the concept of fairness on customer loyalty. Originality/Value (State of The Art): This study attempts to explain service quality based on an Islamic perspective; it is hoped that this model development will reduce the scarcity of literature on service quality. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Customer-centric Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) within the scope of Islamic Ethics on Company Values. In addition, this study also examines the role of customer satisfaction mediation and financial performance towards Customer-centric CSR with company values and tests the role of customer satisfaction mediation for Customer-centric CSR with financial performance. The sample used is Islamic Commercial Banks registered with BI with specified sample criteria. The data was processed using smartPLS, where the direct influence of Centric Customers in Islamic Ethics (CSR) on company values was significant. The Centric Customer variables in Islamic Ethics (CSR) influence financial performance. The other four hypotheses showed insignificant results. The results of the indirect influence test show that the variables of customer satisfaction and financial performance have not been able to mediate the relationship between Customer-centric in Islamic ethics and Company Values.

Abstract

Abstrak – Modal Intelektual dalam Akuntansi Keberlanjutan Bank Islam: Relevankah?Tujuan Utama – Penelitian ini menginvestigasi dampak pengungkapan akuntansi keberlanjutan berperspektif maqasid syariah terhadap nilai perusahaan melalui modal intelektual.Metode – Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi OLS dan bootstrapping. Sampel penelitian adalah 34 bank Islam terkuat dari The ASEAN Banker untuk periode 2016 sampai 2022.Temuan Utama – Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pengungkapan akuntansi keberlanjutan berperspektif maqasid syariah berpengaruh langsung terhadap nilai perusahaan tanpa melalui modal intelektual. Meskipun demikian, modal intelektual tidak berperan sebagai mediator pada pengaruh pengungkapan keberlanjutan dengan nilai perusahaan. Pengungkapan akuntansi keberlanjutan dapat mengubah keputusan investasi.   Implikasi Teori dan Kebijakan – Teori sinyal masih relevan dalam menjelaskan peran pengungkapan  dalam keputusan investor untuk berinvestasi. Modal intelektual lebih diperlukan untuk menguatkan luas pengungkapan akuntansi keberlanjutan dibandingkan menjadi perantara informasi kepada investor. Kebaruan Penelitian – Penelitian ini membangun indeks pengungkapan keberlanjutan baru berbasis SASB berperspektif maqasid syariah. Abstract – Intellectual Capital in Islamic Bank Sustainability Accounting: Is it Relevant?Main Purpose – This study investigates the impact of sustainability accounting disclosure from the maqasid sharia perspective on company value through intellectual capital.Method – This study uses OLS regression and bootstrapping. The research sample consists of 34 strongest Islamic banks from The ASEAN Banker from 2016 to 2022. Main Findings – This study finds that sustainability accounting disclosure from a maqasid syariah perspective directly affects firm value without going through intellectual capital. However, intellectual capital is not found to mediate the relationship between sustainability disclosure and firm value. Sustainability accounting disclosure can alter investment decisions. Theory and Practical Implications – The signalling theory remains relevant in explaining the role of disclosure in investors’ decisions to invest. Intellectual capital is more necessary to strengthen the scope of sustainability accounting disclosure than to serve as an information intermediary to investors. Novelty – This study develops a new sustainability disclosure index based on SASB with a maqasid sharia perspective.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Sumber daya manusia merupakan aset terpenting bagi suatu organisasi, pengelolaan sumber daya manusia tidak dapat dipisahkan dari karyawan yang diharapkan dapat bekerja sebaik-baiknya demi tercapainya tujuan organisasi. Penurunan kinerja karyawan yang tercermin dari fluktuasi produktivitas menjadi tantangan utama di PT Wijaya Karya Beton Pasuruan, dengan indikasi rendahnya motivasi, disiplin kerja, dan employee engagement. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui employee engagement sebagai variabel mediasi. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh yang melibatkan seluruh karyawan tetap PT Wijaya Karya Beton Pasuruan berjumlah 93 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan. Employee engagement terbukti mampu memediasi pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan pentingnya peran employee engagement sebagai faktor penghubung dalam meningkatkan efektivitas motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Abstract

SMEs can achieve sustainable competitive advantage and superior profitability if they possess valuable resources and capabilities. Financial literacy is one such intangible resource that helps equip individuals with the knowledge and information necessary to manage budgets and make strategic investment decisions. Financial literacy is a person's knowledge of improving the quality of decision-making and financial management to achieve welfare. This study aims to determine the effect of Islamic financial literacy of SMEs actors on the growth of SMEs’ performance. Testing the Islamic spirituality as moderating the effect of Islamic financial literacy on the spirituality of SMEs’ performance. The method used in this study is quantitative research with an explanatory approach to prove the truth of the hypothesis. The population in this study consisted of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) actors in Malang City, East Java, with the criteria of being Muslim. The sample used in the study was obtained using the Slovin formula with a precision of 5%, so a sample of 200 respondents was obtained. The data collection technique used a questionnaire distributed to 200 respondents and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The findings reveal that Islamic financial literacy directly and significantly affects SMEs’ performance. Islamic spirituality can moderate the effect of Islamic financial literacy on SMEs’ performance. Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that SMEs’ actors will know what factors need to be considered to improve their business performance. Future studies should include other variables and expand the topic of discussion regarding the sustainability of SMEs’ performance related to innovation, Islamic business ethics, and spirituality in the workplace.

Abstract

E-WoM1 is vital in generating and creating purchase intentions, so it is significant for use in knowing and analyzing investment intentions. This research aims to analyze and know the effect of Electronic Word-of-Mouth (E-WoM) on investment intention in the capital market with brand dan trust as mediation variables. It belongs to qualitative research with an explanatory research approach. The population of this study refers to the people of Jayapura City. The sampling technique was the purposive sampling technique. The samples in this research are 203 respondents. Questionnaires collected data and analyzed using partial least squares (PLS). The results reveal that E-WoM directly affects brand image and trust. Besides, brand image and trust directly affect investment intention, while E-WoM does not directly affect investment intention. Furthermore, brand image and trust can completely mediate the effect of Electronic Word-of-Mouth (E-WoM) on investment intention and function as full mediation. The findings from this research could be applied to enhance investment intention by building customer trust and sharing the banks' reputation and brand image through E-WoM, so they receive credible information from the bank.

Abstract

The study aims to: examine, test, and evaluate the influence of emotional quotient (EQ) andspiritual transformational leadership on job satisfaction, and performance. The study is conducted inshariah banks in Malang. The research sample is 65 shariah banking managers. Sample determinationconsiders satumted sampling while research data analysis uses PLS (Partial Least Square). The resultshows that: emotional quotient (EQ) significantly influences transformational leadership, emotional quotient(EQ) significantly influences job satisfaction, emotional quotient (EQ) significantly influences performance,spiritual quotient (SQ) significantly influence transformational leadership, spiritual quotient (SQ)significantly influences job satisfaction, spiritual quotient (SQ) significantly influences performance, transformationalleadership significantly influences job satisfaction, transformational leadership significantlyinfluences performance, and job satisfaction significantly influences performance.

Abstract

The success of a organization in achieving its targets is highly dependent on the skills and abilities of its employees. HR is a key factor that drives all organizational activities. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of transformational leadership and work-life balance on job satisfaction,  and testing psychological well-being as a mediator of the influence of transformational leadership and work-life balance on job satisfaction.. This study employs a quantitative approach using questionnaires distributed to employees. The population and sample used in this study consist of all employees, totaling 70 employees. The data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, while work-life balance does not have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, psychological well-being is proven to act as a mediating variable.
