Abstract

In an agency, company profile video is an important part. To facilitate information about the services provided to the wider community which is considered very effective in the era of increasing technological advances, various forms of communication media are needed that can target everyone with interesting and interactive information and promotions. One of them is the existence of a company profile video that contains educational videos to the public to obtain information about various services provided by the Bengkulu City Education and Culture Office. There are four fields that need to be introduced to the community, namely the Field of Energy Development, the Field of Basic Education Development, the Field of Early Childhood Education, and the Field of Culture. This video profile is made to provide a brief overview that can represent and form the image of an agency. Company profile videos are important because they can convey information more effectively. Company profile videos can convey a full message in a short time by combining text, sound, and images. An agency can also more easily convey messages to the community at large. The method used in making this video profile is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model. MDLC includes the stages of concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution. The creation of this video profile is expected to provide benefits for viewers and the public who have an interest in the Education and Culture Office of Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Chronic kidney failure is a disease that affects the world's population and an alternative solution is hemodialysis. Hemodialysis is the process of cleaning the blood from urea and creatinine through a semi-permeable membrane in the form of a hollow fiber membrane (HFM) with the following advantages: flexible and low energy requirements. The weaknesses of commercial hemodialysis membranes are that they are hydrophobic, chemical resistant, and low biocompatibility. This research uses a membrane of polysulfone combined with eugenol and polyethylene glycol (PEG) or polyethylene glycol diglycidyl ether (PEGDE). Eugenol has allyl, hydroxy, and methoxy groups which are derived from polyeugenol via allyl groups and from polyeugenol to polyeugenoxy acetic acid via hydroxyl groups. The resulting molecularly imprinted membrane (MIM) in the form of hollow fiber has better porosity, absorption, flux values and is highly selective in transport, with the order of selectivity, namely urea > creatinine > vitamin B12.

Abstract

Plastic use, in this case including plastic drinking water bottles particularly polyethylene terephthalate (PET) has resulted in significant environmental, social, economic, and health repercussions. It will ultimately be deposited in landfills, requiring up to 1,000 years for each individual bottle to degrade. This review begins by briefly introducing the composition and characteristics of PET. It then details the methods for converting waste PET into valuable materials for diverse applications. The review emphasizes advanced uses of these materials in water treatment, highlighting the development of robust, organic solvent-resistant membranes. The primary aim of this review is to evaluate recent studies of PET bottle recycling to membrane technologies, membrane fabrication from PET waste, applications of PET-based membranes, advantages and challenges of using PET waste for membrane fabrication.

Abstract

Mediation is one of the means and efforts to resolve disputes that occur between husband and wife in a peaceful manner that is appropriate, effective, and can open wider access to the parties to obtain a satisfactory and just settlement. In response, the Supreme Court release the regulation of supreme court governing mediation procedure in proceedings in court. Beginning with the SEMA (Surat Edaran Mahkamah Agung) or Supreme Court Circular Number 1 year 2002 on the Empowerment of the First Tribunal Applying the Peace Institution, instructed all the judges who tried the case, in order to sincerely seek peace among the litigants. However, because some basic matters have not been explicitly stipulated in the SEMA, the Supreme Court issued Perma (Regulation of the Supreme Court) RI Number 2 Year 2003 on Mediation Procedure in Court, which was then revised and refined by Perma Number 1 Year 2008, which further reinforce the obligation to pursue mediation procedures related to litigation in court. And its peak on February 4, 2016 Supreme Court renewed by ratifying Perma Number 1 Year 2016 on Mediation Procedure. This paper discusses about how the implementation of this Perma, what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the success of mediation and the extent of its effectiveness in the settlement of divorce cases in the Religious Court of Palu.

Abstract

Fazlur Rahman offered a new methodology in understanding the hadith which he called situational interpretation. This interpretation combines historical and sociological approaches. According to him, the sunnah of the Prophet is more appropriate if viewed as a concept of protection (a general umbrella concept) rather than as a special handle that is absolutely specific. The concept of sunnah and evolution, according to him, includes three categories, ideal sunnah, namely sunnah (practical traditions) and hadith (verbal traditions) which exist together and have the same substance and are attributed to the Prophet and obtain normativeity from him; Second, is the living tradition; and Third, are conclusions drawn from both. The concept of the Sunnah underwent evolution in three periods, firstly, an informal hadith; second, the semi-formal hadith; and third is the formal hadith. This third period causes the actual creative and dynamic sunnah to change into something static, undeveloped and closed.
