Abstract

Pertanian organik merupakan sistem pertanian yang holistik dan terpadu, tanpa menggunakan bahan kimia dan hanya menggunakan pupuk oraganik yang berasal dari bahan-bahan alami. Salah satu sumber daya alam yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembuatan pupuk organik adalah bonggol pisang. Bonggol pisang adalah batang tanaman pisang yang berupa umbi batang yang mengandung unsur-unsur penting yang dibutuhkan tanaman. Meskipun sistem pertanian organik memberikan keuntungan kepada pembangunan pertanian masyarakat namun penerapannya tidak mudah. Beberapa hal yang menjadi kendalanya adalah masyarakat belum paham sistem pertanian terpadu, tanah yang butuh perawatan lama, tingkat hasil dan produktivitas belum meyakinkan petani pada umumnya, belum adanya insentif harga yang memadai untuk produsen produk pertanian organik, dan permodalan yang belum menyentuh semua petani. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sekitar bulan Juli hingga Agustus 2023 di Lembang (desa) Batu Tiakka’. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode demonstrasi yaitu menjelaskan teori tentang manfaat bonggol pisang sebagai pupuk organik. Kemudian mempraktikkan bagaimana cara membuat pupuk dari bonggol pisang. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pembuatan pupuk kompos sangat membantu masyarakat dalam memahami bagaimana manfaat bahan organik, mengenal bahaya pestisida, masyarakat dapat membuat pupuk organik dengan bahan yang mudah diperoleh di daerah sekitar yaitu bonggol pisang dan mengetahui bagaimana mengelola lahan dengan baik.

Abstract

The use of technology in learning has become inevitable in modern education. It plays an important role in optimizing the learning process, including in the context of mathematics learning. This study aims to describe the optimization of mathematics learning outcomes using Artificial Intelligence technology. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The instruments used were tests and interviews. The data collected was then analyzed using the interactive model analysis flow developed by Miles and Huberman, namely reducing data, presenting data, and verifying/concluding. The results showed that by using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in the learning process, lecturers can provide experiences tailored to students' individual needs, improve their understanding of mathematical concepts, and provide fast and precise feedback. Thus, the use of AI technology can optimize mathematics learning.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal dalam pengelolaan wisata, serta pengembangan yang mengedepankan keberlanjutan merupakan konsep utama kegiatan pengabdian ini. Pembenahan dan pengembangan objek wisata Buntu Asa yang terletak di Lembang La'bo', Kecamatan Sanggalangi', Kabupaten Toraja Utara bertujuan untuk menghidupkan kembali serta meningkatkan daya tarik wisata di lokasi tersebut, sekaligus menyediakan berbagai fasilitas guna mendukung keberlanjutan pariwisata. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan observasi dan partisipasi aktif dalam pembuatan fasilitas wisata. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi antara tim pengabdian dan komunitas lokal dapat menciptakan perubahan positif dalam pengelolaan objek wisata

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren publikasi terkait penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran numerasi di sekolah dasar dalam kurun waktu 2014 hingga 2024. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis bibliometrik dengan memetakan data publikasi yang terindeks di database Scopus. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa jumlah publikasi terkait topik ini mengalami peningkatan dengan puncaknya terjadi pada tahun 2022. Penulis yang paling produktif dalam bidang ini antara lain Amir MF, Canbazo?lu HB, dan Tarim K, sedangkan institusi yang sering muncul adalah Federal University of Alagoas dan University of Oregon. Negara yang memberikan kontribusi terbesar dalam publikasi ini adalah Indonesia, diikuti oleh USA dan Malaysia. Kata kunci yang sering digunakan dalam publikasi adalah “numeracy,” “mathematical literacy,” dan “primary school,” yang mencerminkan fokus pada pengembangan keterampilan matematika dasar menggunakan teknologi. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mengenai arah perkembangan penelitian dan pentingnya teknologi dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran numerasi di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The "Play and Learn" program is designed to enhance the social skills of elementary school children through enjoyable educational activities. Social skills, such as communication, teamwork, and emotional understanding, are essential aspects that need to be developed from an early age to support children's success in personal and academic life. This program adopts a participatory approach based on Bandura's social learning theory and Piaget's concept of "active learning," emphasizing the importance of direct interaction and active involvement of children in the learning process. The program implementation consists of three main stages: initial observation to understand children's needs, activity execution involving collaborative games and social simulations, and evaluation and monitoring to measure outcomes. The expected results of this program include improved communication skills, the establishment of a culture of teamwork in the school environment, and better understanding of self and others' emotions. This program offers an experiential-based solution to help children develop sustainable social skills while contributing to strengthening their emotional intelligence in the digital era. Broader implementation in various schools is expected to create a generation that is not only academically competent but also equipped with strong interpersonal skills

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah salah satu pilar utama pembangunan masyarakat dan negara. Dalam konteks pendidikan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), materi pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses belajar mengajar. Saat ini, teknologi telah menjadi bagian integral dari pendidikan, dan alat desain grafis seperti Canva memberikan peluang baru untuk menciptakan materi pembelajaran yang menarik dan berdaya tarik. PKM bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi pembelajaran interaktif dengan menggunakan platform desain grafis Canva dalam konteks pendidikan di SMP. Metodologi pengembangan materi pembelajaran melibatkan analisis kebutuhan siswa, perancangan materi, dan implementasi dalam lingkungan kelas. Hasil PKM ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Canva dalam mengembangkan materi pembelajaran di SMP memberikan manfaat yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Materi pembelajaran yang dirancang dengan baik menggunakan Canva mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan membantu mereka memahami konsep pembelajaran dengan lebih baik. Selain itu, pendekatan ini juga memberikan kesempatan bagi guru untuk lebih berkreasi dalam mengajar. Melalui penerapan inovatif ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di tingkat SMP dan memberikan kontribusi positif bagi perkembangan pendidikan di masa depan.  Abstract. Education is one of the main pillars of community and state development. In the context of junior high school education, engaging and interactive learning materials can improve the quality of the teaching and learning process. Nowadays, technology has become an integral part of education, and graphic design tools such as Canva provide new opportunities to create interesting and engaging learning materials. The PKM aims to develop interactive learning materials using the Canva graphic design platform in the context of junior high school education. The methodology of developing learning materials involves analyzing student needs, designing materials, and implementation in a classroom environment. The results of this PKM show that the use of Canva in developing learning materials in junior high school provides significant benefits in increasing students' interest in learning. Well-designed learning materials using Canva are able to increase student engagement and help them understand learning concepts better. In addition, this approach also provides an opportunity for teachers to be more creative in teaching. Through this innovative application, it is expected to improve the quality of education at the junior high school level and make a positive contribution to the development of education in the future.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the implementation of the IOC Learning Model (Inside-outside-circle) in enhancing the interest and academic performance of elementary school children. This model emphasizes the interconnection of learning inputs, instructional processes, and learning outcomes, while taking into account the educational environment's context. This research used a literature review methodology, examining the efficacy of the IOC Model across diverse educational settings. The findings indicate that the IOC Model can provide a more pertinent and stimulating educational experience, particularly in primary education. It is adaptable and attuned to the diverse individual requirements of students, hence fostering intrinsic drive and critical thinking abilities. The effective execution of the IOC Model is contingent upon teacher preparedness, educational infrastructure, and sufficient policy backing. This study indicates the necessity for additional empirical research to evaluate the model's performance across many educational contexts and to discern the difficulties and opportunities associated with its implementation. The IOC model possesses the capacity to enhance educational quality, particularly in addressing the problems of 21st-century learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes by implementing the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by ULTRASI media in grade IV students of UPT SDN 3 Sesean. The subjects in this study were 10 grade III students, 5 of whom were male and 5 were female. The instruments used in this study were tests, observations, interviews, and documentation, while the stages of data analysis in this study were data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data interpretation. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The implementation of learning followed the steps of the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by ULTRASI media which consisted of two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. Each had four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The minimum success criteria for each cycle were 75% of the completeness value in each cycle. The results of this study indicate that there was an increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes by implementing the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by ULTRASI media on the basic arithmetic operations material on the topic of multiplication.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of interactive learning in teaching fraction concepts to students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Program at UKI Toraja. A qualitative approach using a case study method was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of students' experiences during the learning process. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis, and analysed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model. The findings reveal that interactive approaches promote active student engagement, enhance conceptual understanding, and help address common misconceptions in fractions. These results highlight the importance of contextual, collaborative, and experience-based learning strategies in elementary mathematics education. The study offers implications for designing more meaningful instruction for prospective teachers and contributes to curriculum development based on students learning needs.

Abstract

Program optimalisasi Air Terjun Sarambu sebagai destinasi edukatif dan ekowisata telah berhasil mengintegrasikan aspek ekologis, rekreasi, dan kearifan lokal. Program ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan ekowisata berbasis kearifan lokal, penguatan identitas budaya masyarakat lokal, pelestarian lingkungan, dan peningkatan pendapatan ekonomi masyarakat lokal. Sinergi antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan akademisi sangat dibutuhkan untuk menjaga keberlanjutan ekosistem dan mempromosikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal sebagai bagian integral dari daya tarik wisata.
