Abstract

This research aims to analyze the sustainability status and analyze sensitive attributes (leverage analysis) on the sustainability of the Sumatran orangutan (Pongo abelii L.) reintroduction program in the Bukit Tigapuluh Landscape. The analysis was carried out using the RAPFISH method with four dimensions, namely ecological, economic, social and institutional dimensions which were then validated using the Monte Carlo method, determining the stress value and R2 value. Determining sensitive attributes is done using leverage analysis. The research results show that the sustainability status of the Sumatran Orangutan (Pongo abelii L.) reintroduction program in the Bukit Tigapuluh Landscape in the ecological and economic dimensions is quite sustainable, but in the social and institutional dimensions it is less sustainable. The results of the sensitivity analysis showed that of the total of 36 attributes used, 13 sensitive attributes were identified which influenced the sustainability index value of the Sumatran orangutan reintroduction program namely pressure on the area, number and type of nest trees, forest area area, opportunities for competition (intra and between species), level of habitat suitability, contributing to improving the community's economy, average income against UMP, potential tourist attractions, threat of habitat change, conflict management mechanisms, threat of animal hunting, level of community education and information on regulations related to management rules for Sumatran orangutans.

The results of the AHP analysis showed that the building rooms had a weight of 0.83 and an open yard of 0.17. Then for the open page, the largest weight was found on Accessibility with a weight of 0.31 while the building space the largest weight on Flexibility with a weight of 0.34. Then for open yard has the largest weight on Accessibility with a weight of 0.31 while the building rooms weighs the largest on Flexibility with a weight of 0.34. Alternative facilities and infrastructure needed show that the Lecture Room and Seminar Room have the largest weight of 0.76. The construction of facilities and infrastructure for education is very necessary, especially for a more flexible building rooms for lecture room activities and student seminars.

Abstract

The waste handling program is one of the efforts to maintain the cleanliness of the environment and reduce pollution. Training activities on waste management and maggot cultivation through Community Service (CS) aim to increase knowledge, insight, and care for the environment and village entrepreneurship through the Pandan Bersih Non-Community Group (NCG). The Community Service activities provide skills to NCG and the surrounding community to process waste (organic and inorganic) and maggot cultivation, thereby increasing selling value and environmentally friendly products. Based on the results of the evaluation conducted on the training participants, this activity is needed, especially in maintaining the cleanliness of the environment and reducing the stench from garbage. Participants felt that so far their knowledge was still very limited. In the future, it is expected that other programs in processing inorganic waste, such as plastic into con blocks, paving blocks and fuel, will produce environmentally friendly maggots.
