Abstract

This study aims to (1) develop an alternative assessment on the 2nd General Chemistry Experiment through conservation-based chemistry fair project by utilizing the daily chemical (2) Determine the level of validity, practicality and effectiveness. This research is the development (Research Development) development model applied Dick and Carey (1985). The subject of limited testing and field trials is subject lecturers and students of Science Education UNNES. Determined by purposive sample, the lecturers and the students who take the course 2nd General Chemistry Experiment. The data obtained from this trial are: (1) input from experts, to determine the content and construct validity of the assessment feature; (2) input from a limited sample testing, to determine the practicality of chemistry clue fair project (CFP) based conservation by utilizing chemical daily; Instrument data collectors in the form of a questionnaire legibility chemistry making instructions fair project (CFP) based conservation by utilizing daily chemical, scoring guidelines. (3) student learning outcomes data to determine the effectiveness of the assessment. Input from experts student questionnaire, and the value of chemistry fair project (CFP) limited test samples analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Assessment of 2nd General Chemistry Experiment alternative developed is successful well-developed assessment if valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis  pengaruh penghimpunan dana yang meliputi tabungan, deposito dan giro terhadap kredit yang disalurkan oleh bank  di kabupaten / kota di Provinsi  Jawa Tengah. Data penelitian diambil dari buku Jawa Tengah Dalam Angka 2010. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa jumlah tabungan, deposito dan giro berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap jumlah kredit. Sehingga meningkatnya dana yang dapat dihimpun oleh perbankan di Provinsi  Jawa Tengah.akan dapat mejningkatkan jumlah pnyaluran kredit.                Kata kunci : Penghimpunan dana, tabungan, deposito, giro dan kredit

Abstract

One of the essential skills for future science teacher candidates is scientific communication, while the background of sociocultural aspects influences communication which must have a scientific basis. This research aims to analyse the scientific communication skills of prospective science teacher based on sociocultural aspects. Quantitative survey research methods applied in this research, using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The population in this research were students of natural science education programs at one of the state universities in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, while the samples are 87 students. The results of this study indicate that the sociocultural aspects of students vary with the characteristics of the area of origin, regional languages, different languages, regional cultures, and different social attitudes. The sociocultural aspects are specified in two levels, which are Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) and More Knowledgeable Other (MKO). At the ZPD level, 67% of the students are in the intermediate criteria and 33% in the advanced criteria. While at the MKO level, the criteria are intermediate and advanced, with percentages almost equal to 49% and 51%, respectively. It was concluded that the profile of scientific communication skills of prospective science teacher based on sociocultural aspects was in the intermediate and advanced criteria. Students are indicated to experience “vernacular misconceptions” related to the sociocultural aspects of the use of various languages used in daily communication and writing. The frequency is dominated by the use of regional languages that are not relevant to scientific languages. Further research needs to be carried out on the identification of scientific misconceptions related to sociocultural aspects.

Abstract

Banyuwangi is one of the districts in East Java Province which is on the eastern tip of Java Island where the population has a livelihood as a farmer. Agriculture is one of the priority sectors of regional development in Banyuwangi Regency. One effort was made to support the Department of Agriculture in mapping rice fields for organic and inorganic agriculture in Banyuwangi Regency by using a web-based Geographic Information System that can produce information about spatial fields and identification of soil fertility from the results of testing in soil laboratories. The method used in this study is Rapid Application Development (RAD). The conclusion obtained in this study is the Web Geographical Information can inform the spatial fields and identify soil fertility using the RAD method, so that it can support the Agricultural Service in mapping rice fields in Banyuwangi Regency.Keywords — Banyuwangi, Department of Agriculture, RAD, Web Geographic Information

Abstract

The course of thermodynamics is one of the subjects whose material content consists of real theory and practice and the use of formulas. Therefore, in the application of this course is a need to apply a learning model that is able to help students find and solve problems and be able to explain their findings in achieving the basic competencies of thermodynamics course. The learning model is a Problem Based Instruction learning model based on Blended Learning. This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of pre-service physics teacher as a result of using Problem Based Instruction based on Blended Learning in the course of thermodynamics. Retrieval of data in this study was conducted on third semester students of physics education study programs that take Thermodynamics course. This research was conducted in September-October 2019. The research method used is quasi-experimental. Quasi-experiments are research carried out on a single group of students. Data analysis in this study used a one-party t-test. The results showed that (1) the application of the Problem Based Instruction learning model based on Blended Learning can improve students’ critical thinking skills, (2) Students’ responses to the application of the Problem Based Instruction learning model based on Blended Learning get a very happy category of ongoing learning.

Abstract

The main problems in conducting this research include 1) The ability of the students to analyze the question was less creative in answering; 2) the students learning activities were still low; 3) the students’ interest and response were still low in the instruction. Those problems that had an impact on the instruction were not a success as individual and classical. Therefore, we need an innovative instruction model in enhancing the learning and teaching process, such as; SCL-based Learning Cycle model. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consisted of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. This research was the students in the fifth semester in the Physics Education Department that consisted of 21 students. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the implementation of Learning Cycle 5E through SCL-based had improved students’ creative thinking skills, lecturer’s and students’ activities in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

International trade has become a key pillar in driving a country's economic growth. The stability of international trade is reflected in export-import activities. The amount of exports that exceeds the amount of imports will increase national income and positively affect the country's economic growth. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is Indonesia's dominant export product that plays a critical role in the country's economic growth. Indonesia's CPO production in 2018 was recorded at 40.57 million tons. India is Indonesia's largest main market in exporting CPO. The purpose of this study is to determine the competitiveness and performance of Indonesia's CPO exports compared to the main competitor countries, namely Malaysia and Thailand. The data analysis process utilizes Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), Constant Market Share (CMS), and the Man-Whitney Test with the period of research statistics from 2013-2022.The results show that Indonesia's RCA value has competitiveness and comparative advantage in CPO exports against Thailand, but does not show significant differences with Malaysia in the Indian market. The results of data analysis using Constant Market Shares (CMS) to measure Indonesia's CPO export performance through standard growth, commodity composition effects, market distribution effects and competitiveness effects show that the export performance of CPO commodities against major competitor countries in the Indian market tends to have a positive trend.

Abstract

Perkembangan informasi global berakibat pada semakin hilangnya filter informasi bagi kalangan anak-anak usia sekolah. Implementasi nilai pendidikan agama Islam diharapkan mampu benteng dari kemerosotan moral dan perilaku menyimpang. Pendekatan behaviorisme digunakan sebagai strategi implementasi nilai tersebut. Pendidikan agama Islam adalah internalisasi nilai-nilai ajaran agama Islam kepada sikap keseharian. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan dan proses implementasi nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Islam melalui pendekatan behavior di Madrasah Ibtidaiah Babul Ulum Kanten Trucuk Bojonegoro. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis dengan triangulasi data. Implementasi nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Islam melalui pendekatan behavior dilakukan secara terintegrasi dengan kegiatan pengembangan diri dan pembiasaan, meliputi hafalan juzamma, salat duhur berjamaah, membaca Al Quran setelah kegiatan pembelajaran, dan membesuk teman yang sakit serta dievaluasi secara terstruktur dan terpogram untuk mengetahui perubahan perilaku. Hasil dari penelitian behavior dapat dikembangkan bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk melakukan penelitian lebih mendalam atau pada fokus lainnya. Diharapkan lebih banyak lagi madrasah yang mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Islam melalui pendekatan behavior.

Abstract

Tawhid, as a fundamental concept in Islam, serves as the primary foundation for all religious teachings, particularly in the aspects of worship and social life. Tawhid not only teaches the oneness of Allah SWT but also acts as the basis that guides the behavior of Muslims in all aspects of their lives. Given the importance of this concept, various mufassirs or Qur'anic scholars from different cultural and intellectual backgrounds have sought to interpret it according to the context of their times and societies. This study focuses on two prominent mufassirs from the Nusantara, Quraish Shihab and Buya Hamka, whose works, Tafsir Al-Misbah and Tafsir Al-Azhar, have become key references in Islamic studies in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to compare and analyze how these two mufassirs understand and interpret the concept of Tawhid in the Qur'an. The method used is library research with a comparative approach, allowing the identification of similarities and differences in the interpretation of Tawhid by the two mufassirs. Tafsir Al-Misbah by Quraish Shihab is known for its contextual and modern approach, often linking the interpretation of Qur'anic verses to contemporary social realities. Conversely, Tafsir Al-Azhar by Buya Hamka tends to use a more traditional approach, emphasizing the relevance of Qur'anic teachings in the daily lives of Muslims. The findings reveal that, despite differences in interpretative methods, both mufassirs share similar views on the essence of Tawhid. Quraish Shihab emphasizes the importance of contextual understanding tailored to the challenges of the times, while Buya Hamka focuses more on the spiritual and moral aspects of Tawhid. This difference lies in their methods, with Shihab inclined toward a more flexible hermeneutic approach, whereas Hamka is more literal and normative. Nonetheless, both agree that Tawhid should be reflected in all aspects of a Muslim's life and serve as the foundation for all moral actions and worship. This research provides important insights into the interpretation of Tawhid by Nusantara mufassirs and its relevance in the lives of Muslims in Indonesia today.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the government's efforts to reduce poverty through the BSPS program in Ponorogo Regency. All methods have been implemented by the government, one of which is through the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) program. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of community welfare and analyze the depletion of the poverty rate in Ponorogo Regency. The methods used to collect data include direct observation, interviews with informants, literature studies and documentation. While the method used in analyzing the data is descriptive analysis starting from data collection, data processing, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study concluded that the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) program had not significantly provided a way out in reducing poverty in Ponorogo Regency
