Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of student learning activity in the Science and Social Studies (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial, IPAS) subject among third-grade students at SDN 4 Tomilito, as indicated by limited participation in classroom activities, low enthusiasm in discussions, and minimal involvement in group work. The purpose of this research was to enhance students’ learning activity through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model combined with Interactive Learning Multimedia (ILM), selected for its potential to present learning materials in a more engaging, visual, and contextual manner. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Student activity was measured through five indicators: observing, questioning, collecting information, processing information, and communicating. The results showed a marked improvement, with the average percentage rising from 47.37% in the first cycle to 84.21% in the second cycle. These findings indicate that PBL supported by ILM is effective in fostering active, critical, and participatory learning, and can serve as an innovative approach for improving classroom engagement in similar educational settings. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas III SDN 4 Tomilito, yang terlihat dari rendahnya partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, kurangnya antusiasme dalam diskusi, serta minimnya keterlibatan dalam kerja kelompok. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang dipadukan dengan Multimedia Pembelajaran Interaktif (MPI). Model PBL dipilih karena mampu menyajikan permasalahan kontekstual yang mendorong siswa berpikir kritis dan memecahkan masalah, sedangkan MPI memberikan dukungan visual dan interaktif sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Aktivitas belajar diukur melalui lima indikator, yaitu mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan informasi, mengolah informasi, dan mengomunikasikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, dari 47,37% pada siklus I menjadi 84,21% pada siklus II. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan PBL berbantuan MPI efektif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif, kritis, partisipatif, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa di kelas.

Abstract

Teknologi telah menjadikan proses pembelajaran lebih fleksibel, lebih praktis, dan lebih efisien karena tidak tergantung hanya pada kegiatan tatap muka di kelas saja. melainkan juga di luar kelas, atau di luar jadwal pelajaran. Perubahan ini menjadi tantangan bagi para guru untuk berinovasi dalam mengajar dengan memanfaatkan teknologi dengan bijak. Proses belajar yang memadukan tatap muka dan online, yang disebut Blended Learning (BL), telah menjadi model platform pembelajaran yang banyak diimplementasikan di sekolah-sekolah dan perguruan tinggi karena hakikat BL yang luwes dan memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk belajar dari sumber belajar dan moda belajar yang bervariasi. Meningkatkan hasil dan minat belajar dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran yang hanya satu macam, blended learning mampu meningkatkan hasil dan minat belajar siswa. Hal itu karena metode belajar yang digunakan jauh lebih menarik dan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang menarik pula.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media aplikasi Blooket pada pembelajaran IPS di kelas IV SD Negeri 20 Pulubala. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 14 orang. Adapun metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik pengmpulan data observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media aplikasi Blooket yang digunakan pada pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 20 Pulubala. Pada siklus I, tingkat motivasi belajar siswa memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 57,33% kategori cukup (C) dengan rincian 2 orang siswa atau (14%) memperoleh kategori baik (B), 10 orang siswa atau (72%) memperoleh kategori cukup (C) dan 2 orang siswa atau (14%) memperoleh kategori kurang (K). Sedangkan pada siklus II, tingkat motivasi belajar siswa memperoleh hasil sebesar 84,73% kategori sangat baik (SB) dimana seluruh siswa memperoleh kategori sangat baik (SB). Dari seluruh tindakan pada penelitian tindakan kelas sudah dapat dikatakan berhasil sebab tingkat motivasi belajar siswa yang terdapat pada siklus I dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media aplikasi Blooket mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS di kelas IV SD Negeri 20 Pulubala.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a cultural and civic literacy programme design in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah using Thiagarajan's 4D tool development model, which includes four stages: defining, designing, developing and disseminating. The problem formulations studied include (1) how to design the development of cultural literacy and citizenship of Madrasahs in MIM Unggulan Kota Gorontalo and (2) the feasibility of the developed programme design. Data were obtained through interviews, documentation and validation by experts. The results showed that the design of the cultural and civic literacy programme consists of three main aspects, namely habits (habituation), institutions, and integration in learning. The programme was validated by experts and declared feasible to be implemented at MIM Unggulan Gorontalo City. The implementation of this programme is expected to increase the sense of nationalism, form reasonable and responsible student characters, encourage creativity, and strengthen national unity. This research contributes to the development of cultural and civic literacy education, especially at the basic education level.

Abstract

Learning is a learning process built by teachers to improve moral, intellectual, and develop various abilities possessed by students, including thinking abilities, creative abilities, knowledge construction abilities, problem solving abilities, and the ability to master learning material well. The aim to be achieved in this research is to describe the role of teachers in 21st century learning at SDN 1 Mansalean, Banggai Laut Regency. This type of research uses qualitative research. The teacher has tried to carry out his role as a teacher in implementing 21st century learning at SDN 1 Mansalean by using various learning models and methods to encourage students to be more active in learning

Abstract

This study is "Can the Use of Guided Discussion Methods Improve Students' Creative Thinking Competencies in Science Learning in Grade IV of SDN 4 Kopandakan?". The results of the study showed that students' learning outcomes in creative thinking in cycle I showed that out of 13 students who could achieve the KKM score were 9 students or 69%, while students who had not achieved the KKM score were 4 students or 31%. Furthermore, in cycle II there was an increase from 13 students who achieved the KKM score to 11 students or 85%, while 2 students or 15% did not achieve the KKM score. Thus, it can be concluded that through the guided discussion method assisted by Interactive Powerpoint media, it can improve students' learning outcomes in creative thinking in science learning in grade IV of SDN 4 Kopandakan.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of using Google Earth on the fifth-grade students' Learning Motivation on the Material of maps in the Subject of Natural and Social Sciences at SD Laboratorium UNG. This was a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design, with the independent variable being Google Earth and the dependent variable being students' learning motivation. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. To examine the influence of Google Earth on students learning motivation, the instrument validity (questionnaire) was tested using SPSS and expert validation. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Based on the post-test results, the average score of the control class (which was not exposed to Google Earth) was 77,69, categorized as high, while the experimental class (which used Google Earth) had an average score of 85,75, categorized as very high. This indicated that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hi) is accepted. The conclusion was supported by the independent sample t-test at a 0,05 significance level. The test results confirmed that the use of Google Earth has a significant effect on the fifth-grade students' learning motivation on the material of maps in the subject of natural and social sciences at SD Laboratorium UNG. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Google Earth ini terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS materi peta di kelas V SD Laboratorium UNG. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis quasi experimental dengan variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah aplikasi google earth dan variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar siswa. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu purposive sampling atau sampel bertujuan. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi Google Earth terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dilakukan uji validitas instrumen (angket) menggunakan SPSS dan uji validasi oleh para ahli, serta pengumpulan data melalui angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil postest parameter skor rata-rata kelas kontrol yang tidak diberi perlakuan media google earth adalah 77,69 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dan postest paramater skor rata-rata kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan media google earth adalah 85,75 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t test dalam bentuk independent sample t-test pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil uji-t test menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak sedangkan H1 diterima, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Penggunaan Aplikasi Google Earth terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPAS Materi Peta di Kelas V SD Laboratorium UNG.

Abstract

This research aims to describe management aspects and learning transition strategies from high school to college. This research uses library study or content analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that managing a successful transition from high school to college is critical to students' academic success, especially in the first year. Various studies show that many students are less prepared to study at university and experience obstacles, especially in the aspect of learning adjustment. The gap not only occurs in the secondary school system which does not fully prepare its students to enter college, but colleges also do not have the equipment to accommodate students from secondary schools. To make the transition from high school to college, students need to make adjustments and be supported by the people and systems in their environment. From the aspect of students who will become students, they need to prepare three separate stages in the transition process, namely: separation/separation, transition/transition and merger/merger. From the aspect of higher education, it is necessary to prepare strategies, programs and services to facilitate the transition for students who will enter college. This article reviews the results of a collection of literature regarding management and successful strategies implemented in various countries in facilitating learning from high school to university. The purpose of this literature review is to produce recommendations and considerations that can be used as guidelines for students, parents and universities involved in transition to manage the transition well and successfully.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Social Sciences (IPS) through the use of Blooket digital media in class V of SDN 12 Kota Barat, Gorontalo City. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method consisting of two cycles, where each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 8 students consisting of 5 male students and 3 female students. Data were obtained through observations of teacher and student activities and learning outcome tests. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of Blooket media. In the initial observation, only 25% of students achieved the KKM. In cycle I, learning completeness increased to 50%, and in cycle II it increased significantly to 88% or as many as 7 students achieved a score of ≥ 75. In addition, teacher and student activities also increased in each cycle, indicating that Blooket digital media is able to create more interactive, interesting, and motivating learning for students. Thus, it can be concluded that the Blooket digital media is effective in improving the social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students. This media can be an innovative learning alternative and support technology-based learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di sekolah dasar sehingga diperlukan pengembangan media Dadura sebagai inovasi pembelajaran yang menarik, interaktif, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media Dadura (Dadu Edukatif Responsibilitas dan Akses) serta menguji kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifannya dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) materi hak dan kewajiban di kelas III sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah dominannya metode pembelajaran berpusat pada guru dan terbatasnya penggunaan media interaktif, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya partisipasi murid yang berada pada tahap operasional konkret. belarPenelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), dilaksanakan di SDN 80 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo dengan subjek murid kelas III. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi ahli materi, media, bahasa, dan pengguna, lembar observasi, serta pre-test dan post-test. Analisis data menggunakan perhitungan persentase skor untuk menentukan tingkat kelayakan dan kepraktisan, serta N-Gain untuk mengukur keefektifan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media Dadura memperoleh skor kelayakan 92,7% (sangat layak) dan kepraktisan 100% (sangat praktis). Dari sisi keefektifan, nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 48,00 pada pre-test menjadi 86,67 pada post-test, dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,76 (kategori tinggi) dan tingkat keefektifan 76,11% (efektif). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa media berbasis permainan konkret mampu menjembatani kesenjangan antara karakteristik berpikir operasional konkret murid dengan tuntutan pemahaman konsep abstrak, sekaligus memperkuat keterlibatan kognitif dan emosional secara bermakna.
