Abstract

The threat of terrorism in Indonesia is not a new phenomenon but has persisted since the early years of independence. Presently, perpetrators of terrorism come from various groups with diverse motives, encompassing ideology, politics, and security disturbances. This study aims to delineate the profile, characteristics, and motives of terrorism in Indonesia. Employing a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach, data collection involved non-participant observation. The findings reveal that from 2017 to 2022, there were 97 recorded instances of terrorism actions in Indonesia. Political motives predominantly drove these actions, constituting 88 cases. Moreover, the targets of terrorist actions exhibited minimal disparity between non-civilian and civilian objects, with 59 and 38 cases, respectively. The terrorism action networks are primarily associated with Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (69 cases), East Indonesia Mujahideen (10 cases), and Lone Wolf operatives (7 cases). The study’s findings highlight the role of political factors in terrorist activities in Indonesia, informing policymakers and law enforcement agencies about the need for targeted interventions to address underlying grievances and enhance social cohesion. Furthermore, identifying terrorist networks offers valuable intelligence for disrupting these groups, ultimately improving national security and public safety.

Abstract

This article examines the current landscape of research on electric vehicle (EV) policy, emphasizing the critical yet underexplored role of political economy. While existing studies predominantly focus on infrastructure development, sustainability, and subsidy policies, there is a notable lack of attention to the political dynamics and economic influences that shape EV initiatives. This study investigates the implications of EV policies through a bibliometric analysis, utilizing tools such as VOSviewer to map and analyze academic literature on the topic. It provides a comprehensive overview of key themes, including highly cited research, author contributions, country-level outputs, institutional engagement, and network analyses such as co-citation, bibliographic coupling, and keyword co-occurrence. The study also highlights the countries that have significantly contributed to the field. Findings reveal that integrating political economy perspectives is essential for developing comprehensive and equitable EV policies that address the diverse needs of stakeholders. Ultimately, this article calls for a more holistic approach to EV research, advocating a deeper exploration of the interplay between political and economic forces to enhance the effectiveness and inclusivity of electric mobility initiatives. This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on EV policy frameworks by offering insights into the complex dynamics of political economy, thereby informing policymakers and researchers seeking to navigate the challenges of sustainable mobility transitions.

Abstract

Pelayanan publik merupakan salah satu fungsi utama pemerintahan yang bertujuan memenuhi kebutuhan administrasi masyarakat secara efektif dan efisien. Kegiatan pendampingan mahasiswa magang yang dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Bulak Banteng Surabaya memberikan pengalaman langsung bagi mahasiswa mengenai proses administrasi pemerintahan dan pelayanan masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan pendampingan mahasiswa magang adalah untuk memahamkan kepada mahasiswa tentang pelaksanaan fungsi administrasi dalam pelayanan publik serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaannya. Metode pendampingan yang digunakan berupa arahan bagi observasi, arahan dalam partisipasi langsung selama kegiatan pelayanan administrasi, serta arahan untuk dokumentasi selama pelaksanaan magang. Hasil kegiatan pendampingan mahasiswa magang menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memahami fungsi administrasi di Kelurahan Bulak Banteng telah berjalan dengan baik melalui pelayanan dokumen kependudukan, surat keterangan, dan berbagai administrasi lainnya. Mahasiswa mampu mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung meliputi keramahan pegawai, ketersediaan sarana kerja, dan sistem pengarsipan yang tertata. Mampu identifikasi faktor penghambat yang meliputi keterbatasan ruang pelayanan, kurangnya fasilitas pendukung, dan minimnya sarana informasi bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap praktik administrasi publik sekaligus memberikan masukan bagi peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik.
