Abstract

Latar belakang: Rumah sakit memberikan pelayanan kesehatan kepada masyarakat selama 1x24 jam. Tingginya beban kerja serta dan jam kerja menyebabkan perawat mengalami kelelahan kerja.Keluhan kelelahan kerja perawat akibat pergantian shift kerja yang menyebabkan terganggunya ritme sirkadian pada tubuh dan kecukupan status gizi yang berbeda pada setiap perawat. Kelelahan kerja yang terjadi pada perawat dapat menimbulkan terjadinya kecelakaan kerja pada perawat dimana hal tersebut akan dapat menyebabkan terjadinya penuranan status kesehatan pada perawat Tujuan: Studi ini bertujuan guna melihat hubungan status gizi serta shift kerja dengan keluhan kelelahan kerja perawat di RSUI Yakssi Gemolong,Sragen Metode:. Kuantitatif analitik dengan desain penelitian cross sectional menjadi jenis penelitian ini. 55 orang dijadikan populasi dan sampel. Teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Instrumen di studi ini yakni kuesioner serta timbangan berat badan. Analisis deskriptif dan uji Spearman rho dipakai di studi ini. Hasil: Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan terdapatnya hubungan yang signifikan diantara status gizi (ρ=0,000) dan shift kerja (“ρ=0,046”) dengan keluhan kelelahan kerja perawat di RSUI Yakssi Gemolong, Sragen.. Kesimpulan: adanya hubungan yang signifikandi antara status gizi dan shift kerja dengan keluhan kelelahan kerja yang terjadi pada perawat di RSUI Yakssi Gemolong,Sragen

Abstract

Background: Oxidative stress can cause health problems for workers and affect productivity for workers. Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL) and Malondialdehyde (MDA) levels a biomarkers for systemic oxidative stress. Car painting and body repair businesses play a crucial role in preventing corrosion and damage from crashes by employing a variety of processes. The worker in the stage poses the highest risk of exposure to the chemical substance known as toluene. Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship of toluene intake with Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL) and Malondialdehyde (MDA) levels. Methods: This study employed an observational research design with a cross-sectional method. All 30 car painting workshop workers in sanding, caulking, painting, polishing, and finishing are included in this research. Workers were measured for exposure to Toluene and Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL) and Malondialdehyde (MDA) levels. Data were analyzed descriptively and statistically. Results: Almost half of the total workers are adults. More than half of the total workers have a working period of 8 hours/day, have a working period of up to 10 years, and BMI in the normal category. Only a small number of workers do not smoke. Toluene exposure that enters the body of workers has more than the reference dose and is found in more than half of the total workers. Most workers have optimal LDL. More than half of the total workers have low MDA. The results of the Toluene exposure test with LDL obtained p = 0.098, and toluene exposure with MDA (malondialdehyde) obtained p = 0.045. Conclusion: There is a relationship between Toluene and MDA, but not with LDL. This indicates the need for efforts to anticipate Toluene exposure in companies to prevent oxidative stress, preceded by an increase in MDA. Abstract

Nurseis a profession that has a high stress level. High stress is thought to play a role in causing cardiovascular disease. This study aims to analyze the relationship between work stress and cardiovascular risk. A cross sectional study design. Respondents were all nurses of Malang Islamic Hospital as many as 84 people. Chi Square test is used to determine the relationship of work stress levels with the risk of cardiovascular disease. Most nurses have an abnormal stress that is equal to 72.6% or 61 nurses. Mostof them have a low risk of 90.5% or 76 people. The number of nurses who have abnormal stress has a higher risk of cardiovascular disease that is 11.5% compared to nurses who have normal stress which is 4.3%. Chi Square test results of a significance valueof 0.321 means greater than 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between the level of work stress with the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Abstract

Computer Vision Syndrome adalah kumpulan gejala mata dan penglihatan akibat penggunaan perangkat elektronik dalam waktu lama, yang kini menjadi isu penting dalam penelitian sehingga memerlukan instrumen yang andal untuk menilai gejala yang dialami individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitas dari kuesioner Computer Vision Syndrome Scale 17 (CVSS17) versi Bahasa Indonesia yang diterjemahkan dari versi Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan melibatkan 47 pekerja pengguna komputer yang diteliti setelah 4 jam penggunaan komputer. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara daring menggunakan google form. Analisis data pada uji validitas setiap butir diuji dengan membandingkan nilai r hitung dengan r tabel yaitu > 0,288 dan signifikansi < 0,05. Uji reliabilitas dinilai melalui Cronbach’s Alpha, analisis menggunakan aplikasi IBM SPSS 29. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan seluruh 17 item memiliki nilai r-hitung dan nilai signifikansi sesuai dengan ketentuan, sehingga dinyatakan valid. Nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,880 menunjukkan konsistensi internal yang sangat baik. CVSS17 versi Bahasa Indonesia memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam mengukur gejala CVS, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai instrumen standar untuk menilai keluhan visual akibat penggunaan perangkat digital pada populasi pekerja di Indonesia.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Labor is one of the most important components in the implementation of workers and is a determining asset for the company. The increase in work accidents in ordinary work environments is due to incidents of unsafe actions, unsafe conditions and near misses among workers. With the HSE main rule observation program, it is a safety campaign for the company. Observation and evaluation of the number of unsafe actions, unsafe conditions, near misses, safe actions, safe conditions as an indicator of the company's success in implementing zero accidents at PT SSI. Descriptive with an observational approach, using a questionnaire inputted to the web (Gensuite Observation). Using primary data from interviews in the field and secondary data obtained through research-related documents. Gensuite Observation for the period January – June in 2022 in the operational section (HSE, processing, warehouse) found 297 findings, while in 2023 there were 260 findings, where this year there was a decrease in findings by 37. Comparison of Gensuite Observation results in 2022 and 2023 for the HSE section there was an increase in new findings of 6 findings (15 to 21), a comparison of the results of Gensuite Observations in 2022 and 2023 for the Processing section showed a decrease in findings of 9 (158 to 149), a comparison of the results of Gensuite Observations in 2022 and 2023 for the Warehouse obtained the same finding value 0 findings (30 to 30). The results of research at PT SSI show that corrective action has been taken. The final process of SMK3 is corrective action from the results of audits and performance evaluations that have been carried out as an effort to prevent unsafe actions, unsafe conditions, near misses, safe actions, safe conditions from occurring in the company environment. Keywords: Occupational Health and Safety, Observation and Reporting of HSE Rules, Unsafe Action, Unsafe Condition, Near Miss. Gensuite Observation  ABSTRAK Tenaga kerja merupakan salah satu komponen terpenting dalam pelaksanaan pekerja dan merupakan aset yang menentukan bagi perusahaan. Terjadinya peningkatan kecelakaan kerja di lingkungan kerja biasa disebabkan adanya kejadian unsafe action, unsafe condition, near miss pada pekerja. Dengan adanya program pengamatan aturan utama (health safety Environment) HSE merupakan salah satu safety campaign bagi perusahaan. Pengamatan dan evaluasi angka kejadian unsafe action, unsafe condition, near miss, safe action, safe condition sebagai alat indikator keberhasilan perusahaan dalam melaksanakan zero accident di PT SSI. Deskriptif dengan pendekatan observasi, dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang diinput ke web (Gensuite Observation). Menggunakan data primer hasil wawancara dilapangan dan data sekunder di peroleh melalui dokumen terkait penelitian. Gensuite Observation periode januari – juni pada tahun 2022 pada bagian operasional (HSE, processing, warehouse) didapatkan sebanyak 297 temuan sedangkan di tahun 2023 sebanyak 260 temuan, dimana pada tahun ini mengalami penurunan temuan sebanyak 37. Perbandingan hasil Gensuite Observation pada tahun 2022 dan 2023 untuk bagian HSE didapatkan peningkatan temuan baru sebanyak 6 temuan (15 ke 21), perbandingan hasil Gensuite Observation pada tahun 2022 dan 2023 untuk bagian Processing didapatkan penurunan temuan sebanyak 9 (158 ke 149), Perbandingan hasil Gensuite Observation pada tahun 2022 dan 2023 untuk bagian Warehouse didapatkan nilai temuan yang sama 0 temuan (30 ke 30). Hasil penelitian di PT SSI menunjukkan bahwa tindakan perbaikan sudah dilakukan. Abstract

ABSTRACT Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) is a fundamental aspect in maintaining industrial productivity and sustainability, particularly in the agribusiness sector, which is at high risk of exposure to physical hazards. This study aims to evaluate the conformity of physical work environment measurements, including noise, Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBT), and lighting, with the Threshold Limit Value (TLV) and the requirements of Minister of Manpower Regulation No. 5 of 2018, and to provide control recommendations for the prevention of Occupational diseases. This research method is descriptive qualitative by analyzing secondary data from measurements in 2024–2025 from the accredited laboratory Envilab. The results show that several production areas such as the Buhler Bagging Off and Workshop have noise levels exceeding the TLV of 85 dBA, with values reaching 90 dBA. The WBT and lighting factors also show non-compliance in several areas, although there is a trend of improvement. These findings emphasize the need to improve company compliance with regulations through the implementation of technical and administrative controls, as well as the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The research conclusion shows that continuous evaluation and regular monitoring of the physical work environment is a strategic step in strengthening the implementation of K3 and preventing the emergence of occupational diseases in the agribusiness industry. Keywords: Physical Work Environment, Noise, Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT), Lighting, Occupational Diseases.

Abstract

Background: Mechanical failure, age and poor quality of machines, and heavy equipment can cause mining accidents or disasters. Accidents in mining can be caused by equipment and handling of heavy loads, mechanical failure, safety management, poor leadership and work environment, unsafe actions, inexperienced workers, and lack of rules, regulations, training and safety education. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyse risk opportunities for enhancing heavy equipment employee protection performance. Method: This study used a qualitative method, by using Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Opportunities (HIRARO) methods to identify work hazards in mining areas and opportunities to control them to improve safety performance. Result: The risk management that has been carried out by the company does not use a hierarchy of controls, but goes directly to preventive measures with moderate status. Conclusion: Risk management in East Kalimantan heavy equipment companies still needs to be improved in terms of preventing accidents and occupational health by adding risk level after initial controls, to obtain post-initial control risk levels, as well as proper additional controls and take into account the opportunities to enhance OSH performance or reduce risks.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kandungan pada komposisi cat maupun thinner terdapat BTX. Kandungan yang digunakan tersebut bersifat toksik dan bahkan karsinogenik. Dengan demikian, paparan BTX yang tidak terkontrol akan menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan pada pekerja. Beberapa metabolit BTX yang menghasilkan produksi ROS dan dapat menyebabkan terjadinya stress oksidatif serta kerusakan genetic. Interaksi yang terjadi antara ROS dengan biomolekul salah satunya DNA dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kerusakan DNA oksidatif. Tingkat keparahan kerusakan DNA juga dapat dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik individu antara lain usia, masa kerja, dan status merokok. Tujuan: untuk menganalisis hubungan antara karakteristik individu dengan degenerasi DNA pada pekerja bengkel pengecatan mobil di Surabaya. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional deskriptif dengan analisis kuantitatif dan rancang bangun cross sectional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 20 orang dengan metode sampling yaitu total population sampling. Penelitian dilakukan di bengkel pengecatan mobil Kalijudan, Surabaya. Variabel penelitian terdiri atas variable independen (karakteristik indvidu meliputi usia, masa kerja, dan status merokok) dan variable dependen (degenerasi DNA). Analisis variable menggunakan tabel distribusi frekuensi, uji coefficient contingency, dan uji korelasi point-biserial. Hasil: Hubungan antara karakteristik individu dengan degenerasi DNA yaitu usia (kategori sedang dan berarah negative), masa kerja (kategori sangat lemah dan berarah negative), dan status merokok (kategori sangat lemah dan berarah positif). Kesimpulan: Hubungan antara karakteristik individu dengan degenerasi DNA pada pekerja bengkel pengecatan mobil di Surabaya berada pada kategori sedang dan sangat lemah dengan arah positif maupun negative. Meski hubungan yang terjadi tidak bersifat kuat, namun pihak industry atau pemilik bengkel pengecatan mobil sebaiknya menyediakan dan menganjurkan pemakaian Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) sebagai bentuk pencegahan terhadap pekerja.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Industri percetakan adalah industri tulisan dan gambar massal yang menggunakan tinta pada kertas dan mesin cetak. Dalam proses produksinya digunakan tinta dan pelarut yang mengandung bahan kimia, salah satunya adalah benzena. Paparan benzena dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi benzena di lingkungan kerja serta meningkatkan risiko kesehatan bagi pekerja. Benzene menargetkan darah yang dapat mengurangi jumlahsel darah yang ada dalam tubuh atau anemiaTujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsentrasi benzena dengan eritrosit dan hemoglobin pada pekerja bagian produksi di Airlangga University Press. Metode: Variabel bebas yang digunakan adalah konsentrasi benzena dan variabel terikatnya adalah kadar eritrosit dan hemoglobin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan cross sectional. Semua 11 pekerja produksi di perusahaan percetakan Airlangga University Press diambil sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji korelasi PearsonHasil: konsentrasi benzena pada pekerja produksi percetakan berada di bawah nilai ambang batas. Rerata kadar hemoglobin dan eritrosit pekerja dalam batas normal. Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara konsentrasi benzena dengan eritrosit (p = 0,816) pada pekerja di bagian produksi percetakan Airlangga University PressKesimpulan: Efek kesehatan yang terjadi akibat paparan benzena adalah gangguan sistem hematologi dimana target utama benzena adalah sumsum tulang. Abstract

Background: A car paint shop is one of the works that use paint as the main working material containing benzene. Benzene is a colorless liquid aromatic compound that is carcinogenic to humans. This compound is classified as a group 1 human carcinogen by the IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer). Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the correlation between individual characteristics and workplace benzene concentrations with DNA degeneration of workers in an automotive paint shop in Kalijudan, Surabaya. Methods: This study is an observational study with a cross-sectional design and a quantitative approach. Secondary data from the previous study were collected from 20 respondents, all of whom were paint workers in an auto paint shop. The dependent variable in this study is DNA degeneration and the independent variables are age, body mass index (BMI), number of years working, smoking behavior, and benzene concentration. To analyze the correlation of independent and dependent variables, the chi-square test was used. And then the phi test and Cramer's v are used to analyze the strength of the correlation between the two variables. Results: Measurements of benzene concentrations in the workplace showed higher mean concentrations than TLV-TWA. As a result of laboratory tests, 13 out of 20 workers showed DNA degeneration. At the same time, the results showed a moderate correlation between BMI and DNA degeneration, and a very weak correlation between benzene concentration at work, individual characteristics (worker age, years of work, and smoking behavior) and DNA degeneration. Conclusions: This study found no correlation between individual characteristics and workplace benzene concentration with DNA degeneration in Surabaya auto paint shop workers.
