Abstract

This study aims to describe the perceptions of clothing traders in Rengel Village Traditional Market regarding financial digitalization. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied using method and source triangulation. Data were collected through structured and semi-structured interviews, direct observations, and photo documentation. The findings reveal that traders’ perceptions vary depending on their understanding, experience, and technology access. Some perceive digital payments such as e-wallets (DANA, OVO), QRIS, and bank transfers as useful (perceived usefulness), but actual use remains limited to bank transfers, often with family assistance. QRIS and e-wallets are still in the introductory stage due to limited technical knowledge. Other obstacles include unstable internet access and limited device ownership.Overall, the acceptance of digital finance among traditional market traders is still at an early stage. Therefore, education, guidance, and infrastructure support are needed to gradually enhance the adoption of financial digitalization in traditional markets.

Abstract

UMKM seasoning LLR is one of the UMKM that produces cooking spices. UMKM seasoning LLR is located in Putat village RT.05 / RW.01, Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo. Natural cooking spices produced by UMKM seasoning LLR made from selected natural spices consisting of shallots, garlic, various empon-empon tubers, and leaves. Based on observations made by the community service team in collaboration with students, it has been found that there are two problems, namely in the production and management aspects. In the production aspect, in particular, the process of cleaning raw materials includes the process of peeling and washing with tools only knives and ordinary washing tubs which take a very long time and a lot of labor. Problems in the management aspect are due to weak business management, especially in business bookkeeping and marketing management. Implementation of activities that include the preparation stage, implementation stage, monitoring and evaluation. The semi-automatic roller brush method multipurpose cleaning machine can increase production. The large capacity of the machine can speed up the process of washing materials and does not require a lot of labor. The machine has a capacity of 165 kg/hour. The machine is also equipped with a roller brush of seven plastic brush models so that it is elastic and also equipped with a spray model water hose to make it easier and able to remove dirt to difficult parts. The implementation of a multipurpose cleaning machine using the roller brush method can increase the speed of the washing process by about 15 times compared to the manual method. The washing results from the machine are also cleaner, more hygienic and the operation and maintenance of the machine is very easy. Management training using e-commerce and bookkeeping can increase knowledge to improve product.

Abstract

This study aims to find the relationship between compliance with HDI in East Java. With case study on Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Gresik. Where is expected to recover low HDI East Java in Java Island that year. The method to be used in this research is descriptive Quantitative research method. The first result, success in controlling the population both from the side of birth control and in-migration, will enable the achievement of a relatively low population density. As the population density diminishes, the government's education budget and health budget will have a more significant impact on improving education and public health. This will ultimately increase HDI, as education and health levels are a dimension in HDI measurement. Second, population control will increase income per capita. the income per capita (GRDP per capita) of GRDP is divided by the total population. With fewer populations, GDP per capita will tend to be higher. High income per capita will increase HDI growth.

Abstract

The high number of poor families and the lack of employment opportunities. The solutions offered are training in processing superior products, thus opening up new job opportunities and motivating the community to be independent. One of the potential possessed by Wonosalam Subdistrict is cow milk production. To increase the added value of dairy products in this area, we carry out a training to process superior products in Wonosalam District. The output of this PKM activity is the creation of a superior village product in the form of Jackfruit Milk Pie. Jackfruit milk pie made from milk and jackfruit. The object of this training is the female population both classified as working age (15-64) and outside of working age (64+). For women who are of working age, this activity will provide business opportunities for them, so they can try to be independent. For female residents outside the working age will motivate them to work, thereby reducing the burden of family dependence.

Abstract

Income inequality in East Kalimantan Province remains an issue of concern despite the region’s improving economic growth during the period 2014–2023. The increase in Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), largely driven by the mining and oil and gas sectors, has not resulted in an equitable distribution of income across regions. This study aims to analyze the effects of government expenditure on the economic, education, and social protection functions, as well as GRDP, on income inequality at the district and city levels in East Kalimantan Province. The method employed is panel data regression, with model selection conducted using the Chow test, Hausman test, and Lagrange Multiplier test. The results indicate that government expenditure on the economic function significantly reduces income inequality, while expenditure on the education and social protection functions shows a positive and significant association with income inequality. GRDP has a positive effect on income inequality, supporting the view that economic growth in its early stages tends to increase disparities. Simultaneously, all independent variables are found to have a significant effect on income inequality. These findings highlight the importance of improving the effectiveness of public spending and implementing more inclusive fiscal policies to promote a more equitable distribution of welfare in East Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of economic growth on environmental pollution across Indonesia's provinces, utilizing Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current market prices as the primary economic indicator and population density as a control variable. Employing a quantitative approach with cross-sectional secondary data from Indonesia's Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the research conducts multivariate regression analysis on data from all 34 provinces. Comprehensive diagnostic tests, including assessments of normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and model specification, were performed to validate the statistical model. The findings reveal that both GRDP and population density exert statistically significant positive effects on environmental pollution, though the magnitude of these effects is relatively modest. The model explains approximately 44.35% of the variation in environmental pollution, suggesting that additional factors beyond economic and demographic variables contribute substantially to pollution dynamics. This research provides contemporary empirical support for the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis in the Indonesian context, emphasizing the necessity for integrated policy approaches that balance economic development with environmental sustainability.
