Abstract

The development of teaching modules aligned with the Merdeka curriculum for junior and senior high schools is essential to improving the quality of education. Several studies have highlighted the importance of supporting teachers in creating teaching modules based on the Merdeka curriculum to address the challenges faced by educators who may not fully understand the concepts and techniques required. These studies emphasize the importance of training sessions and workshops to equip teachers with the skills needed to develop effective teaching modules that are aligned with the principles of the Merdeka curriculum. In addition, integrating 21st-century skills into teaching modules is essential to prepare students for the challenges of the modern era. The Merdeka curriculum emphasizes the freedom to design learning experiences that are tailored to students' needs and encourage deeper understanding of the material. It also encourages the use of innovative approaches, such as problem-based learning, to enhance the effectiveness of teaching modules. In addition, mathematics teachers' readiness to implement the Merdeka curriculum was assessed as positive, indicating a willingness to embrace a new educational paradigm. However, challenges remain, such as the need for further support in developing instructional materials that are aligned with the thematic nature of the Merdeka curriculum. The development of teaching modules that are aligned with the Merdeka curriculum is an important aspect of modern education. By providing teachers with the necessary training and resources, schools can ensure that students receive high-quality education that is aligned with the principles of the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

Mahasiswa sebagai pengguna aktif komputer di lingkungan akademik berisiko terhadap berbagai ancaman keamanan komputer, namun tidak semua memiliki kesadaran dan perilaku protektif yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku mahasiswa JTIK di Universitas Negeri Makassar dalam menghadapi ancaman terhadap keamanan komputer. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 43 mahasiswa dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki kesadaran tinggi terhadap pentingnya keamanan komputer dan mampu mengenali ancaman seperti phishing. Namun, sebagian responden masih menunjukkan perilaku berisiko seperti membagikan kata sandi dan mengklik tautan mencurigakan. Meskipun pengetahuan mereka cukup baik, implementasi keamanan tidak selalu konsisten dalam praktik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa diperlukan upaya pendidikan dan pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk mengubah kesadaran menjadi perilaku aman yang konsisten dalam menghadapi ancaman digital.

Abstract

Corona virus or Covid-19 that occured in Indonesia have the government made a statement to minimize all activites for temporary including schools that are have to  implementing online learning. Educators are required to prepare a learning system that effective and innovative, that include blended learning method. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of blended learning in post-pandemic. This study uses quantitative research methods and collecting data by made questionnaire and spread it in Makassar State University. Based on facts from literature, a conclusion has been made that blended learning method is effectively applied because it makes easier for students to learn, such as flexibly and independently.

Abstract

Identifikasi Pemahaman Siswa Dengan Menggunakan Evaluasi Model Peta Konsep Mata Pelajaran Kelistrikan Otomotif Pada Siswa Kelas XI SMK Teknologi Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa. Skripsi. Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dalam bentuk deskriptif yang melibatkan variabel tunggal, yaitu pemahaman yang diidentifikasi dengan cara evaluasi model peta konsep. populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Teknologi Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa pada tahun pelajaran 2010/2011 sebanyak 120 siswa yang tersebar pada 3 kelas. Sampel yang dipilih secara acak sebanyak 30 siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui dua cara : Nilai siswa yang diperoleh melalui evaluasi multiple choice sebagai data pembanding dan nilai siswa yang diperoleh melalui evaluasi model peta konsep. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif inferential, Selanjutnya data tersebut dideskriptifkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasannya dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman kelistrikan otomotif siswa kelas XI SMK Teknologi Somba Opu kabupaten gowa yang diidentifikasi dengan evaluasi multiple choice oleh guru bidang studi berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase skor ≥ 43,33% sedangkan identifikasi pemahaman siswa oleh peneliti menggunakan evaluasi model peta konsep berada pada kategori rendah dengan persentase skor ≤ 30,00% dengan siswa yang sama. Melihat hal tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa evaluasi model peta konsep lebih ideal digunakan dalam mengevaluasi pemahaman konsep siswa karena gambaran pemahaman siswa terlihat pada diagram pemetaan konsep

Abstract

In an era of digital transformation, the integration of technology in education has become indispensable—especially in technical disciplines such as civil engineering. This study explores how students in the Civil Engineering and Planning program at Universitas Negeri Makassar perceive their competence within the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework. Utilizing a quantitative descriptive design, a structured survey was administered to 75 students to assess their self-reported proficiency in the domains of technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge. The results indicate strong confidence in the use of technology for content comprehension and problem-solving, while moderate scores were observed in pedagogical and integrative dimensions of TPACK. These findings reveal both strengths and gaps in students’ readiness to apply TPACK holistically, highlighting the need for curriculum innovation that balances technical fluency with pedagogical strategy. The study extends the application of the TPACK framework beyond teacher education, offering insights for advancing instructional competence in engineering education. Recommendations for future research include triangulated methods, longitudinal studies, and cross-disciplinary comparisons to enrich understanding of TPACK adoption in higher technical education.

Abstract

Energi listrik ialah energi yang kompleks diubah bentuk ke energi yang lain. Energi listrik sangat dibutuhkan oleh manusia untuk membantu pekerjaannya. Energi listrik ini dapat dihasilkan dari konversi energi panas. Energi Panas ini dihasilkan dari plat permukaan cerobong mesin pengering rak telur. Energi panas tersebut diubah menjadi energi listrik dengan menggunakan konsep efek seebeck. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui karakter dari modul TEG sebagai sumber energi listrik dalam memanfaatkan panas pada dinding cerobong suatu mesin pengering rak telur yang menggunakan sekam padi sebagai bahan bakar tungku mesin. Pengujian dilakukan dengan cara memanfaatkan panas cerobong bawah yang terpisah oleh sebuah Heat Excanger (HE) dengan kecepatan blower tungku pembakaran 2600 rpm dan kecepatan blower lingkungan 2800 rpm dengan jumlh termoelektrik yang digunakan sebanyak 36 buah. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa modul TEG pada cerobong bawah diperoleh perbedaan temperatur (∆T), perbedaan tegangan (∆V) dan daya (P) masing-masing ∆T 73.25 °C ; ∆V 12.26 Volt ; P 1.312 Watt.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess how well the "MindWell" information system facilitates the assessment and tracking of users' mental health. "MindWell" is an online resource created to give consumers quick and simple access to mental health assessments, educational materials, and expert advice. Using cutting-edge web technology, this system offers real-time screening services, ensures user data confidentiality and privacy, and includes features like mental health education, support service referrals, and monitoring. The system's capacity to offer pertinent information and assist users in understanding their mental health disorders was examined, along with input from beta users and a series of trial runs. The findings demonstrated that "MindWell" was successful in raising users' awareness of mental health issues, assisting in the early detection of mental health issues, and giving them access to helpful resources. It is envisaged that the deployment of this system will aid in the pursuit of more widespread and long-lasting improvements in mental health.

Abstract

The integration of affective aspects into adaptive learning systems remains limited, as most educational technologies primarily rely on cognitive performance indicators. However, students’ emotional conditions significantly influence engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes. This study aims to develop and evaluate a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model for classifying students’ emotions based on facial expressions to support adaptive learning environments. A quantitative experimental approach was employed. Facial expression image data were preprocessed through face detection, resizing, normalization, and data augmentation before being trained using a CNN architecture with the Adam optimizer and categorical cross-entropy loss function. Model performance was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and confusion matrix analysis. The experimental results show that the proposed CNN model achieved an overall accuracy of 90% with an average F1-score of 0.88 across four emotion categories (Happy, Sad, Neutral, and Angry). The confusion matrix indicates that most predictions fall within the correct classification range, although minor misclassifications occurred between low-intensity Sad and Neutral expressions. The stability of training and validation loss curves demonstrates good generalization ability without significant overfitting. These findings indicate that CNN-based facial emotion classification can serve as a reliable component in adaptive learning systems by providing real-time affective feedback. The study contributes to the development of artificial intelligence applications in education by integrating emotional recognition into adaptive instructional design

Abstract

Salah satu usaha agar mutu pendidikan di Indonesia dapat ditingkatkan adalah dengan memperbaiki proses belajar di dalam maupun di luar kelas. Proses belajar mengajar ini dapat diperbaiki salah satunya adalah dengan cara mengadakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). PTK merupakan hal yang sangat penting sehingga wajib ada pada semua sekolah-sekolah di Indonesia, salah satunya di SD 1 Centre Patalassang, Kabupaten Takalar. Metode Pelaksanaan Pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah ceramah, diskusi, serta evaluasi. Adapun hasil evaluasi dari pre-test dan post-test yang diperoleh adalah rata-rata skor jawaban peserta pelatihan sebesar 31,75 persen atau kategori rendah, sedangkan rata-rata skor jawaban post-test peserta pelatihan sebesar 87,41 persen kategori sangat tinggi. Ini berarti program ini dianggap berhasil karena skor jawaban post-test peserta pelatihan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan skor jawaban pre-test.

Abstract

Mengacu pada karya tulis ilmiah sebagai syarat kelulusan mahasiswa, dosen wajib membekali mahasiswanya dengan memberikan materi terkait pemahaman referensi dan manajemennya. Melihat pentingnya hal tersebut, tim peneliti berinisiatif mengadakan pemberian materi dan pelatihan pemanfaatan aplikasi manajemen referensi. Aplikasi manajemen referensi yang digunakan dan dipaparkan pada materi dan pelatihan ini adalah aplikasi Zotero. Aktivitas pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan agar mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan kualitas publikasi dan dapat terhindar dari bahaya plagiarisme pada karya tulis ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan pemaparan materi, praktik Zotero, dan Focus Group Discussion. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan seluruh peserta sangat antusias dalam pelaksanaannya. Para peserta juga merespon positif pelatihan ini karena memiliki banyak manfaat dalam penggunaannya.
