Abstract

ABSTRAKBeksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih merupakan salah satu jenis tari tradisi klasik yang lahir dan berkembang di lingkungan Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta. Seperti halnya tari tradisi klasik lainnya, Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih mengalami penurunan popularitas karena perkembangan zaman dan kurangnya publikasi dari masyarakat dan akademisi. Menyikapi permasalahan tersebut, berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan pertunjukan Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih, perlu adanya penyesuaian dengan minat generasi zaman ini agar eksistensi tarian ini meningkat dan tetap lestari. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan perkembangan Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan model penulisan deskriptif dan teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu obserasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dari Analisis Kebutuhan Perkembangan Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih dapat dilihat dari beberapa faktor, yakni faktor beralihnya fungsi ritual, gerak tari, busana, maupun dari faktor publikasi Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih yang masih sedikit. Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih at Keraton Surakarta Hadiningrat: The Analysis of The Needs of Traditional Dance PerformanceABSTRACTBeksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih is a type of classical traditional dance that was born and developed from the Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta. Like other classical traditional dances, Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih has experienced a decline in popularity due to the times and the lack of publications from the public and academics. Responding to these problems, based on the analysis of the needs of Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih's performances, it is necessary to adjust to the interests of today's generation so that the existence of this dance increases and remains sustainable. This article aims to analyze the developmental needs of Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive writing model and the techniques used in data collection are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the analysis of the developmental needs of Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih can be seen from several factors, namely the factor of shifting ritual functions, dance movements, clothing, as well as from the factor of Beksan Bedhaya Kirana Ratih's publication which is still few.

Abstract

The Tikitiki rhythmic syllable method is a notation reading method developed by Dr. Pono Banoe. This method is an effective method for understanding rhythm for beginners. The success of the practice process of drummer Bahana Eka Sapta is due to the members who have various musical experiences. In addition, the many contributions of drummer Bahana Eka Sapta in fulfilling ceremonies, parades and competitions are an effective factor in the Tikitiki method chosen during practice. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the Tikitiki method is applied in the Bahana Eka Sapta training process. In this study using descriptive qualitative methods. Sources of data taken in this study are primary data sources from members of Bahana Eka Sapta and trainers Bahana Eka Sapta. Meanwhile, secondary data sources were taken when the research took place in the form of documentation, song archives, and assignment letters. Data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that there was ease in understanding the members of the Bahana Eka Sapta drum band after the Tikitiki rhythmic syllable method was applied in the training process so that it became a solution to overcome diverse musical experiences and help new members in understanding rhythm. The Tikitiki method can also be applied to drum band activities at school and institutional extracurricular activities to make it easier for beginners to understand the rhythm of the song.

Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran yang dituntut aktif dan berpusat kepada siswa, mengharuskan guru mencari berbagai solusi untuk membuat proses pembelajaran yang menarik dan bersifat baru dengan menghadirkan berbagai inovasi baik dalam media, model, strategi, metode, materi, hingga evaluasi pembelajaran. Tantangan tersebut harus dilakukan dengan  mendesain perangkat pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi yang terbaru, agar proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik, terlebih dalam materi teori yang mengharuskan siswa aktif dalam pemeblajaran. Beberapa contoh penggunaan media daring (online) antara lain Google Clasroom, Google Form, Zoom Metting, Kahoot, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Tiktok atau pun media lainnya yang tersedia di smartphone. Hal tersebut yang menjadi latar belakang adanya penelitian terhadap minat pembelajaran siswa pada materi seni budaya. Berbagai pendapat yang menjadi perbincangan di lingkungan siswa antara lain: kurang jelasnya penyampaian materi praktik, kurangnya minat belajar siswa, kurang menariknya proses belajar mengajar, kurangnya penerapan media pemebelajaran dalam proses belajar menagajar, serta kurang efektifnya waktu pembelajaran, dari fenomena tersebut peneliti akhirnya tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian tentang Implementasi Kahoot Berbasis Digital Game Based Evaluation Pada Pembelajaran Gerak Dasar Tari yang dilakukan pada kelas XI MIA 1 di SMA Negeri 1 Binuang. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengimplementasikan media pembelajaran Kahoot yang digunakan dalam proses evaluasi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Digital Game Based Evaluation yang berbasis permainan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tindakan kelas dengan teknik analisis data kualitatif deskriptif dengan menganalisi dan mendeskripsikan kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan Kahoot. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu pendeskripsian dan penjelasan mengenai pembelajran seni budaya aspek seni tari yang menggunakan Kahoot berbasis Digital Game Based Evaluation pada pembelajaran gerak dasar tari yang dilakukan pada SMA Negeri 1 Binuang kelas XI MIA 1.

Abstract

Art in Education (AIE) memungkinkan seni untuk terintegrasi dengan materi Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah Dasar, sehingga dapat tercipta Pendidikan Agama Islam yang lebih menyenangkan. AIE diterapkan oleh K.H. Ahmad Rifa’i melalui Batik Rifa’iyah, sebagai sarana pendidikan agama Islam bagi masyarakat Batang. Batik Rifa’iyah juga dirasa dapat digunakan sebagai inspirasi pendidikan agama Islam di sekolah dasar. Tujuan penulisan menjelaskan analisis kebutuhan seni dalam pendidikan agama Islam di sekolah dasar melalui inspirasi Batik Rifa’iyah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data berupa reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kebutuhan seni dalam pendidikan agama Islam di sekolah dasar melalui inspirasi batik Rifa’iyah Batang meliputi; materi pembelajaran, lokasi pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, jenis motif batik, dan tahap pembelajaran. Pendekatan Art in Education melalui inspirasi batik Rifa’iyah dapat diterapkan pada tahap instruksional pembelajaran PAI siswa kelas 1 SD sebagai tahap inti dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, sekaligus menjadi tahap siswa dalam menerima materi dari pengajar. Kata Kunci: analisis kebutuhan, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Batik Rifa’iyah  Needs analysis of art in elementary school’s Islamic education through batik Rifa'iyah Batang inspiration Abstract          Art in Education (AIE) allows art to be integrated with Islamic Education in Elementary Schools, so that a more enjoyable Islamic Education can be created. AIE was implemented by K.H. Ahmad Rifa'i through Batik Rifa'iyah, as a means of Islamic religious education for the Batang community. Rifa'iyah batik is also considered to be used as an inspiration for Islamic religious education in elementary schools. The purpose of writing is to explain the analysis of the need for art in Islamic religious education in elementary schools through the inspiration of Batik Rifa'iyah. This research uses a qualitative approach with analytical descriptive method. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis techniques were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate the need for art in Islamic religious education in elementary schools through the inspiration of Rifa'iyah Batang batik including: learning materials, learning locations, learning media, types of batik motifs, and learning stages. The Art in Education approach through the inspiration of Rifa'iyah batik can be applied to the instructional stage of PAI learning for grade 1 elementary school students as the core stage in learning activities, as well as the stage for students to receive material from the teacher. Keywords: needs analysis, Islamic Education, Batik Rifa’iyah

Abstract

The importance of art education in instilling the principles of Pancasila that should be taught to pupils has diminished since the era of technological transformation. Learning the names of the Pancasila principles through music is a powerful tool. However, pupils lose interest in the process when learning is still presented in the traditional fashion. Student's strengths in global variety, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity can be cultivated through this music-learning process and included in their Pancasila student profiles. As a result, changes in music education are necessary for the extras. The study's overarching objective was to explain how interventions based on the world wall application might help students build a Pancasila profile to better serve their communities. The art and culture instructor and the tenth-grade pupils at MAN 2 Kediri in the city of Kediri participated in this study. This research uses observation, interviews, and written records to acquire its data.  The results of this study indicate that learning the art of music at schools in trumpet practice using the wordwall.net application can stimulate the profile of Pancasila students by cultivating an open way of thinking, mutual respect, mutual care and collaboration. This research is expected to be an innovative medium for teaching music learning so that students can get to know music in various ways

Abstract

Barongan art is folk art that has been adhered to people's lives. Its presence is used as entertainment. Barongan art not only functions as entertainment but contains character values in the elements of the performance. The purpose of this research is to describe the form and character values of barongan turonggo laras art performance. The method used in the research is a qualitative method with phenomenological, ethical, and emic approaches. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity technique used is the triangulation technique. The data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results show that the barongan turonggo laras art developed in Galih Village, Gemuh District, Kendal Regency has eight characters’ values, namely: 1) Religious, 2) Honesty, 3) Tolerance, 4) Hard work, 5) Creativity, 6) Love for the country, 7) Responsibility, and 8) Cooperation. The cultivation of character values in barongan turonggo laras art can be analyzed through performance elements consisting of movement, dancers, dance music, makeup, fashion, time, place, stage, sound, lighting, properties, and audience. For example, it provides an understanding to members and the community about the values contained in the elements of the barongan turonggo laras art performance, such as the values contained in movements have a religious value shown in sembahan movements and the floor pattern elements contain the value of tolerance that occurs between fellow dancers.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pendidikan Karakter menjadi sebuah wacana dan perhatian berbagai pihak selama beberapa dekade. Termasuk salah satunya Presiden Joko Widodo yang membawa revolusi mental. Gagasan Pendidikan Karakter membuka luas diskursus tentang bagaimana menanamkan moral value kepada peserta didik. Pandemi Covid 19 dan digitalisasi membawa kondisi proses belajar berubah 180 derajat. Kajian pendidikan modern mengarah kepada perspektif baru, sebuah wacana pendidikan karakter melalui pendekatan profetik. Humanisasi, liberasi, dan transendensi menjadi tafsiran kuntowijoyo akan frasa Nilai Profetik. Manusia yang diciptakan sesuai dengan khodrat Yang Maha Esa untuk mengurus bumi dan menyembah kepada Tuhannya. Konsep penilaian karakter yang sederhana dan berkonsep kuat menjadi sebuah dambaan dari pelaksana pendidikan dan orang tua. Nilai Profetik menjadi sebuah gagasan transformasi nilai sosial khas Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan uji sample. Data yamg diperoleh dari studi pustaka akan dideskripsikan dengan data lainnya. Merangkai sebuah model penilaian karakter dengan pendekatan Nilai Profetik Kuntowijoyo. Peran tenaga kependidikan tidak hanya memberikan pembelajaran saja, namun kekuatan emosional dan keteladanannya mampu mempengaruhi proses pendidikan peserta didik secara kolektif. Humanisasi dipandang perlu untuk muncul ditengah masyarakat yang saat ini mengalami dehumanisasi, agresif, dan penyendiri. Sehingga Kuntowijoyo mengajukan manusia humanis yang berorientasi kepada Tuhan dengan mengangkat martabat manusia. Penilaian pendidikan bisa didefinisikan sebagai sebuah sistem kolektif untuk mengumpulkan informasi mengenai kualitas dan perkembangan peserta didik. Konsep Penilaian pendidikan karakter berdasarkan nilai profetik kuntowijoyo menjadi salah satu gagasan yang menarik untuk terus dikembangkan. Selain karena sederhana tetapi juga diharapkan mampu untuk menjebatani definisi dari pendidikan karakter itu sendiri di lingkungan kependidikan Abstract. The Prophetic Value became an idea for the transformation of Indonesian social values. The research method used is a literature study with a sample test approach. The data obtained from the literature study will be described with other data. Assemble a character assessment model with Kuntowijoyo's Prophetic Values ​​approach. The role of education personnel is not only to provide learning, but their emotional strength and example are able to influence the collective education process of students. Humanization is deemed necessary to emerge in the midst of a society that is currently experiencing dehumanization, aggression, and aloofness. So Kuntowijoyo proposes a humanist human being oriented to God by elevating human dignity. Educational assessment can be defined as a collective system for gathering information about the quality and development of learners. The concept of character education assessment based on Kuntowijoyo's prophetic values ​​is an interesting idea to continue to develop. Apart from being simple, it is also expected to be able to bridge the definition of character education itself in the educational environment.

Abstract

Abstrak. This study aims to produce an android-based performance assessment instrument that is valid, reliable, and practical. Research development approach with ADDIE model from Dick and Carry. The performance assessment instrument developed consisted of: (1) task items, (2) music accompaniment audio, (3) an assessment rubric, (4) an observation sheet, and (5) guidelines for the interpretation of assessment results. Development of indicators of performance assessment instruments for the subject of singing folk songs by referring to the music learning curriculum for class VIII junior high school (SMP). Assessing students' competence in singing folk songs using performance assessment with practice test techniques with the assignment technique of singing folk songs in an unisono. Based on the resultunisonials conducted at the model application stage, shows that, technically, the performance assessment model on the subject of singing folk songs developed can be applied very well. Based on the results of the analysis of the reliability test conducted using the analysis of the correlation coefficient between classes, it shows that the instrument for assessing the performance of singing folk songs developed has met the specified criteria.

Abstract

The Banjar people in South Kalimantan have a tradition of putting their children to sleep in a swing while chanting a rhythmic shalawat of Banjar poetry called Ma'ayun Anak. This tradition is integrated into the Ba'ayun Mulud tradition which is a cultural tradition of the Banjar people to ma'ayun a child in the month of Maulid or Rabiul Awwal in the Islamic calendar (Hijriyah) to celebrate the birthday of Rasulullah Muhammad Shalallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam. This cultural reflection collaborated and was expressed in a new dance creation entitled "Japin Ayun Anak" in 2018 by the Posko La Bastari Kandangan, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. This article is descriptive qualitative using an ethnochoreological approach to obtain descriptions, meanings and values in the choreography of this dance which includes conceptualized motion, space and time as well as classification of movement types. There are 15 variations of motion in this dance that reflect important messages for appreciators, including regarding the love of parents for their children and the actualization of Muslim gratitude for the birth of Muhammad Shalallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam, in which mothers rock their children accompanied by the Prophet's blessings and prayers for his son. It is hoped that the child who is rocked will inherit the glory of the Prophet Muhammad Shalallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam and obtain safety in this world and in the hereafter.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the role of make-up, clothing and dance properties in Lilin Shiva dance in the city of Palembang. The Lilin Shiva dance is an important part of Palembang culture, and has a rich history and cultural significance. This study will investigate how makeup, clothing, and dance props are used to enhance the beauty and grace of the Lilin Shiva dance, and how they contribute to the overall performance. Qualitative research methods will be used, and data will be collected through observation and interviews with artists, choreographers and make-up artists. It is hoped that the findings of this study will provide insight into how makeup, clothing, and dance props can be used to enhance traditional dance forms, while staying true to their cultural roots. This research is to contribute to a deeper understanding of the importance of preserving and promoting local culture. The result of this analysis is that the form of cosmetology, fashion and dance props used in each Lilin Shiva dance performance is a blend of Palembang culture which is still maintained today. The changes in the form of karya are not too obvious and can be adapted to the development of the era, both within the scope of traditional performances and in the context of contemporary dance performances.
