Abstract

Laporan keuangan harus disajikan secara wajar dan dapat dipercaya. Peningkatkan kualitas laporan keuangan dapat dilakukan dengan cara penunjukan jasa auditor independen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menemukan bukti empiris pengaruh CEO power dan poitical connections terhadap pemilihan auditor berkualitas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 45 laporan tahunan perusahaan indeks LQ45 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2018. Teknik analisis menggunakan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian meunjukan CEO yang memiliki power lebih kuat dari kepemilikan saham pada perusahaan yang dipimpinnya cendrung memilih auditor berkualitas. Namun political connections melalui kepemilikan saham oleh pemerintah tidak berpengaruh dalam memilih auditor berkualitas di perusahaan index LQ45 yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of depth variations of the bowl blade on the performance of kinetic turbines. The test has conducted experimentally on a laboratory scale. In this study three vertical shaft, kinetic turbines were used with blade depth variations of 2 cm, 3 cm, and 4 cm. Each turbine will be tested on different rotation variations and flowrate variations. Parameters such as turbine power and efficiency will be determined based on the results of measurements of water velocity, water level, and braking load. The results showed that the depth of the bowl blade affected the performance of the kinetic turbine. The highest kinetic turbine performance was obtained in the turbine with 4 cm blade depth variation, followed by the turbine with 3 cm blade depth variation and the lowest turbine performance was obtained at 2 cm blade depth variation. The maximum performance of the turbine is obtained at 4 cm blade depth variation at 80 rpm and 65 m3/h water discharge, where the power generated is 13.2 Watts and efficiency is 34.5%.

Abstract

The CO2 content in biogas is an impurity, so it needs to be reduced. One way to reduce the levels of CO2 in biogas is by purification with tile-zeolite adsorbents. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of tile - zeolite as an adsorbent in the purification process to reduce CO2 levels using a 23 factorial design. The use of tile powder adsorbents (25% and 75%) - Zeolite (75% and 25%), biogas flow rates of 1 and 6 liters/minute, which were investigated at intervals of 5 and 20 minutes, to collect CO2 content data. Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) is used to test the adsorption gas content. The results are shown by the Pareto curve resulting from biogas purification of CO2 levels, each of which has a magnitude of response to CO2 levels. Increased levels of tile-zeolite as an adsorbent and the rate of biogas flow in the purification process had an effect of reducing CO2 levels by 44.214%. Conversely, an increase in tile-zeolite levels as an adsorbent increases CO2 levels in the biogas purification process. Natural tile is a porous material that can adsorb and has ions that can be exchanged with ions from the outside.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan operasi purse seine adalah kecepatan kapal yang dapat mengimbangi kecepatan renang ikan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecepatan kapal purse seine terhadap hasil tangkapan yang maksimal. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen, uji kecepatan kapal dilakukan diperairan Probolinggo. Data yang diperoleh analisis statistik selanjutnya ditampilkan dalam bentuk Tabel dan Gambar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan operasional kapal purse seine di Probolinggo (4 knot) yang memperoleh hasil maksimal hingga 180 kg/ setting, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa hasil tangkapan ikan menggunakanpurse seine di perairan Probolinggo relatif rendah.  Kata Kunci : kecepatan kapal, purse seine

Abstract

There are many small industryy that manufacture parts and accessories two-wheeled. Production process of parts and accessories has been done in the welding process. Welding is a common method used to connect the metal permanently. The results of observation on welding process identify there are many problems faced by operators of welding process. Welding facilities are not ergonomic and resulted in complaints of the welding operator. Results of nbm questionnaire given to operators welding showed that there are many complaints from operators. To solve the problems, this paper propose repairing on a working position and design work facilities that match with the anthropometry operators and then propose the additional aids ( jigs and a fixture ) for operators.

Abstract

Continous improvements to increase productivity is compulsory for small medium enterprise. The average value of productivity observed with Objective Matrix, in January-September 2014, is 261 . The main factorwhich affect the value of productivity is the number of defective products produced by Automatic Feeding and Sealing Machine.Approximately, 73.7% of total defective products is leak product. Thus, the main effortto increase value of  productivity is reduce the amount of leak products produced by those macine. After calculating the average value of productivity, design of experiment were performed using central composite design approach. Then measure optimum value for each independent variables using Response Surface Methodology. The optimal values are : Cup Type A ( supplied by PT.Indopack ) , the heater I’s temperature is 256.9 °C and the heater II’s temperature is 258.48 oC . with predicted number of leaked product is 0.86 . By using this setting , the value of productivity turned to 855, far above the average of the previous months.

Abstract

Small and middle enterprises  have been the important part of the economic of a nation or a local. Karang Write-Batik is one industrial center which is located at Karang Village, Semanding Subdistrict, Tuban District. Early observation shows that various processes within the production of Write-Batik are conducted without considering ergonomic aspects, such as work method and work facility. It may result in complaint and even muscle injury which is called Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD’s) Many pronlem of pain perceived by workers are caused by less ergonomic work position or work posture. It may also be evident because the less correspondence between work equipment and workers’ anthropometry size. To measure workers’ musculoskeletal injured, the author uses Standard Nordic Questionnaire (SNQ) and to assess work posture, Quick Exposure Check (QEC) is used. The reduction of workers’ musculoskeletal injuredt can be realized by improving work facility based on workers’ anthropometry size. Result of early measurement of exposure level of several parts of body indicates that the exposure level of the back is 26, while that of the arm is 30, that of the hand wrist is 26, and that of the neck is 16. After the improvement of work facility, workers’ complaint is reduced and so is exposure level. The exposure level with the improved work facility is shown as follows: the exposure level of the back is 22, while that of the arm is 22, that of the hand wrist is 22 and that of the neck is 14.

Abstract

Fluid flow flowing through an elbow causes separation. Separation leads to vortex, shake and cavity. As a result, the head loss will increase and the pipe installation is potentially damaged. Thus, separation must be eliminated. The separation is identified by the presence of high pressure decreasing in the downstream of elbow. To minimize the pressure decreasing in elbow, we need flow conditioner like a tube bundle. The aim of this research is to identify the influence of tube bundle placement toward the head loss such as pressure drop. The elbow being tested is placed on a pipe installation already equipped by testing aids such as computers and its software, pressure transmitter, and rotameter. The free variable in this study is the distance of the tube bundle from the outlet edge of the pipe turn 2D, 3D, 4D and 5D and fluid flow volume which flows through the installation that are 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500, 1600, 1700, 1800, 1900 and 2000 litres/hour. Whereas, the dependent variable is the pressure drop (p) measured by pressure transmitter and the head loss of which the value is obtained from the measurement of pressure drop. The test was conducted on 1.25 inch in diameter elbow with 22 holes of tube bundle and 27 mm in length. To know the head loss, so the pressure drop (p) of fluid at upstream and downstream of the pipe turn are measured using 2 pressure transmitters connected to the computer through ADC (Analog Digital Converter). The data had already recorded in computer was processed using the LabView software to get the averaged value of the pressure drop. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia: Aliran Fluida yang mengalir melalui belokan pipa menyebabkan terjadinya separasi. Separasi mengakibatkan terjadinya vortex, getaran, dan kavitasi, dimana kerugian tersebut mengakibatkan kerugian head meningkat dan berpotensi merusak instalasi pipa sehingga separasi perlu dihilangkan. Separasi ini ditandai dengan penurunan tekanan yang besar pada bagian hilir belokan pipa. Untuk memperkecil penurunan tekanan pada belokan pipa diperlukan suatu alat pengkondisi aliran (flow conditioner) berupa tube bundle (gabungan pipa). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh peletakan tube bundle tersebut terhadap kerugian head yang berupa penurunan tekanan. Belokan pipa yang diuji dipasang pada instalasi pipa yang telah dilengkapi alat bantu pengujian seperti komputer dengan software-nya, pressure transmitter, dan rotameter. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah jarak peletakan tube bundle dari sisi keluaran belokan pipa 2D, 3D, 4D dan 5D serta debit aliran fluida yang melewati instalasi yaitu 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500, 1600, 1700, 1800, 1900 dan 2000 liter/jam. Sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah beda tekanan (p) diukur dengan pressure transmitter dan kerugian head yang nilainya diperoleh dari perhitungan beda tekanan tersebut. Pengujian dilakukan pada belokan pipa berdiameter 1,25 inci dengan jumlah lubang tube bundle 22 dan panjang 27 mm. Untuk mengetahui kerugian head yang terjadi, maka beda tekanan (p) fluida antara bagian hulu dan hilir belokan pipa diukur dengan menggunakan 2 buah pressure transmitter yang dihubungkan dengan komputer melalui ADC (Analog Digital Converter). Data yang telah terekam pada komputer diolah dengan bantuan LabView software sehingga diperoleh nilai rata-rata dari beda tekanan yang terjadi. Kata kunci: Kerugian head, tube bundle, belokan pipa.

Abstract

Biogas is an alternative energy that has great economic value for rural communities. In practice, the CH4 biogas content is the most important part of the energy conversion process, but the impurities in the form of carbon dioxide which reduce the heating value is still large. So that efforts are needed to reduce CO2 by purification.The purpose of this study is to obtain a way of purification that improves the quality of biogas with high heating value and low CO2 impurities. The use of tile-type powder adsorbents, namely fine and coarse, which were studied at intervals of 5 and 20 minutes, for data retrieval of heat value and CO2 content. Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) is used to test the adsorption gas content. The results showed a finer type of tile powder size gave better purification results with results at minute 5 and 20 respectively of 24.1 and 20.1% while on the type of grain size coarse at minute 5 and 20 each produced CO2 levels of 23.1 and 20.8%. Due to a decrease in CO2 levels the biogas calorific value after the highest purification is 23893 kJ/ m3 after the purification process which has resulted in a decrease in CO2 levels known during the purification process takes place the largest absorption effectiveness is 59.8% in the type of fine size within 20 minutes. Abstract

Because of the fickle nature of the renewable sources of energy production, professionals in this sector have developed hybrid renewable energy systems (HRES) that offer a constant and stable load supply. This research intends to build off-grid hybrid energy systems (HES) in Malang, Indonesia, that uses a solar generator, wind turbine, and biogas to power public buildings. The HOMER program was used to construct this model. Following the computations, multiple hybrid renewable energy system models are used to analyze each component’s capital cost and also cost of energy (COE). Furthermore, energy output, gas emissions, and a thermoeconomic assessment of several HRES models have been explored. Two ideal HRES models were evaluated: one with a biogas generator and one without. According to the research, employing a generator of biogas would reduce fuel consumption and emissions by 68.3%. This HRES model is impressive in light of Malang’s severe air pollution. Switching from diesel to biogas generator decreases NPC by 6.84%, according to the data.
