Abstract

The School Health Service (UKS) is one of the health activity units at the elementary school level. At present, the UKS program has not been able to contribute optimally in improving the health status of school-age children. This condition is caused because UKS program planning has not been based on data and information related to school-age children's health problems. This study aims to develop a UKS database application at the elementary school level. The scope of this research includes the implementation of the UKS Triad and the recording and reporting system for the UKS elementary school level Implementation Team. This type of research is Action Research. The subject of this research was the implementation team of the UKS in Public Primary School / Elementary School (SDN) of I / 240 Sutorejo Surabaya. Data analysis uses a systems approach which is a process, input, and output. An analysis of the recording system and reporting of the UKS in SDN I/240 Sutorejo found a problem that is the source of data available only in the field of health services, so the analysis cannot be based on the UKS Triad. This research resulted in a prototype of the UKS database that was developed based on the results of the analysis of the recording and reporting system that was running on the UKS in SDN 1/240 Sutorejo implementation team. The UKS database prototype produces health education information, health services, and school environmental health guidance that can be used for UKS program planning for the implementation team and at the Public health center. The use of the UKS database requires supporting facilities including maintenance management systems that aim to make the UKS program sustainable as well as monitoring and evaluating the database system.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) Type 2 is one type of DM that affects nearly 90% of patients with a diagnosis of DM in the world. DM type 2 patients need long-term care and treatment to prolong life and improve quality of life. This study aims to analyze the relationship of family support with the quality of life of patients with DM type 2. This type of research is observational analytic with a cross-sectional study design. The study population was all patients with DM type 2 who visited the Public health center (PHC) of Pademawu in May – June 2017. The number of samples was 50 respondents who were randomly selected using a simple random sampling technique. The variables studied were the characteristics of respondents (age, sex, level of education, length of suffering, complications), and family support. The results of the chi-square test with a significance level of 5% (α = 0.05) showed that variables significantly related to the quality of life DM type 2 were family support (p = 0.001) and DM complications (p = 0.011). The conclusion in this study is the variable of family support and complications have a significant relationship with the quality of life of DM type 2 in PHC of Pademawu, Pamekasan District so that health workers in PHC of Pademawu are expected to further enhance health promotion regarding the importance of family support to patients to extend the life of patients with DM type 2.

Data were collected using a questionnaire on 135 respondents in nine health centers in the city of Kediri region. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. For data analysis and test, the feasibility used a test model of SEM with AMOS program 19.Results: The results showed self esteem caregiver (-0.25 <0.05), community resources (0.24 <0.05), self-efficacy (0.22> 0.05) , caregiver coping effort (12:17 <0.05), and the perception of caregiver about the family situation at this time (0:19 <0.05), which means that adaptation of caregiver in treating patients with schizophrenia is influenced by the characteristics of the family, namely community resources, self-efficacy, caregiver coping effort, self-esteem and perception of family caregiver to the conditions experienced at this time. Perception of caregiver about the condition of today's families is affected by stress, which appears on a caregiver stress due to stressor for caring for people with schizophrenia, especially the aggressive behavior of schizophrenics.Discussion: Adaptation of caregiver was highly influential in the care of people with schizophrenia because in this case becomes one of the important points to be able to sustain the process of treatment and prevent relapse of schizophrenics.

Abstract

Kompetensi perawat (OR = 0,05) ; CI95% = 0.02 hingga 0.09; p <001), 3. Komitmen perawat (OR = 0.13; CI95% = 0.07 hingga 0.24; p <001), 4. Smear negative (OR = 0.35; CI95% = 0.18 hingga 0.67; p = 0,002), 5. TB paru ekstra (OR = 15,45; CI95% = 8,08 sampai 29,51; p <0,001), dan 6) manajemen rumah sakit (ICC = 11,24%; CI95% = 2,20% sampai 41,62%). . Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat enam indeks yang berhubungan dengan kasus under-reporting TB di RSUD Kudus.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on public transportation worldwide. At the beginning of the pandemic, public transportation systems reduced their performance by 80-90% in major cities in China, Iran, and the United States, and by 70% in the UK, including a significant decline in Indonesia. Several studies have shown that public transportation contributes significantly to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This study aims to review the use of public transportation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: A systematic review using the PRISMA guidelines was conducted on literature published between 2020-2023 with inclusion criteria of national and international research articles in English related to the title "Public Transportation Strategy in Response to COVID-19". The database sources used were Scopus, Google Scholar, and PubMed. Results: Based on the literature review, it is concluded that efforts to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission in public transportation include providing personal protective equipment (PPE) for all public transportation crew, implementing strict physical distancing policies among passengers inside the vehicle, ensuring good ventilation, and enforcing the use of masks and hand hygiene. Another solution is to provide non-cash payment options to reduce physical contact between passengers and transportation personnel. The government and public transportation operators should consistently prepare supporting facilities and educate users about physical distancing, using masks, and hand hygiene through posters, social media, and regular announcements in public transportation areas. Implementing strategies in public transportation in response to COVID-19 requires collaboration between the government, transportation operators, and the public.
