Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan siswa dalam memahami hubungan konfigurasi elektron dengan sistem periodik unsur melalui two tier multiple choice test, metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan mengambil subjek penelitian pada siswa kelas XI IPA1, IPA2, IPA3, dan XII IPA3 Telaga Biru. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar jawaban siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kesulitan siswa sangat tinggi, pada konsep menentukan letak unsur pada Sistem Periodik unsur berdasarkan konfigurasi elektron terdapat 50,60% menentukan konfigurasi elektron berdasarkan letak unsur dalam sistem periodik unsur terdapat 62,77%, menganalisis konfigurasi elektron dari suatu ion berdasarkan letak unsur dalam Sistem periodik unsur terdapat 90,96% menganalisis persamaan konfigurasi elektron dari suatu ion/unsur terdapat 80,86%, secara keseluruhan atau rata-rata total siswa yang mengalami kesulitan sebesar 71,12%.

Abstract

This research is descriptive method, the aim of this research is to know the students ability to determine the kinds of chemical compound which found from SMA text book. The population in this research at class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo concist of 93 students academic year 2008/2009. The sample of this research are students XIIB1, XIIB2, XIIB3 and XIIB4. To collecting the sample of research based on the average of the class according to the information which I get from the teacher. The instrument of this research by using the text and three alternative answer, and one of the answer 35 items. The result of experimental text get validasi is 85,66% and the reabilities koefisien is 0,92. The result of this research shows that the percentage of the students at class II SMA Negeri 1 Gorontalo who can be identify the kinds of chemical compound include in SMA text book, they are : (a) the bond ionic of ion kation and anion (28%), (b) the bond of kovalen nonpolar at chemical homodiatomic (86%), (c) the bond kovalen polar at the chemical heterodiatomic (50%), (d) the bond ionic at the yudium with simple kation and anion polyatomic (15%), (e) the bond of ionic at the yudiom with kation and anion polyatomic (46%), (f) the bond kovalen polar at the ion polyatomic in one yudium (54%), (g) the bond kovalen polar at the ion polyatomic (75%). The patterns of the students mistakes it can be identifier, there are: (a) relation between the same of two atom nonlogam is a relation with kovalen polar, (b) relations of the differences between two of nonlogam include of ionic compound, (c) relation between cation and anion in one of yudium include kovalen compound polar, (d) relation between cation and anion in one of yudium include kovalen compound polar, (e) relation in between kation and anion in one of yudiom include kovalen compound nonpolar, (f) relation between atom logam and atom nonlogsm include of kovalen compound nonpolar, (g) relation between atom logam and nonlogam of polar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kesalahan siswa dalam memahami konsep larutan buffer pada tingkatj makroskopis dan mikroskopis. (2) pola-pola gambaran mikroskopik larutan buffer oleh siswa. Rancangan penelitian adalah rancangan deskriftif. Subyek adalah siswa kelas XII IPA SMA Negeri Kota Gorontalo tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Objek penelitian adalah siswa SMAN 1, SMAN 2, SMAN 3, dan SMAN 4 Gorontalo. Masing-masing sekolah diambil 2 kelas. Data diperoleh melalui tes gambaran mikroskopis, berupa tes tertulis dalam bentuk uraian objektif. Data dianalis dengan persentase. Darihasil analisis diidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk kesalahan pemahaman siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa mengalami kesalahan dalam memahami konsep larutan buffer. Pola gambaran mikroskopis yang salah adanya (a) campuran hasil reaksi larutan buffer dari asam lemah dan garamnya tidak mengalami ionisasi menjadi ion-ionnya. (b.) campuran hasil reaksi dari basa lemah dan garamnya tidak mengalami ionisasi dalam larutan yang terbentuk. (c) hasil larutan yang terbentuk dalam larutan buffer asam lemahnya mengalami ionsasi sempurna dan garam tidak terionisasi. Bertolak dari hasil penelitian ini maka untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep pada tingkat mikroskopik hendaknya menggunakan model gambaran mikroskopik dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah suatu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA-3 SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pada pokok Bahasan Koloid dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Bakulikan pada Siswa Kelas XI IPA-3 SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo, Tahun Ajaran 2010-2011 yang berjumlah 37 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan mengikut sertakan seorang guru pengamat. Kriteria keberhasilan penelitian ini adalah 85% siswa memperoleh nilai 7,5 keatas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Bakulikan ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa yang dilaksanakan dengan meninngkatnya hasil belajar siswa. Pada sisklus I hasil belajar siswa sebesr 78,38% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 91,89%. Dan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Bakulikan pada materi koloid dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dengan ditunjukan dengan meningkatnya hasil belajar Siswa Kelas XI IPA-3 SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo.

Abstract

The research is classroom action research and conducted at students of XI class in SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa in 2008/2009 academics years. The sample was 26 students that consisted of 5 male students and 21 female students. The research aimed to improve students comprehension ability in solubility and solubility product concept through cooperative learning of Think-Pair-Share type. The research was had 2 cycles, in where there was an improving of teacher interaction in learning with average value as 3,27 (81,75%) in good category at first cycle and became 3,63 (90,75%) in excellent category at second cycle. In addition, there was an improving of students interaction with average value as 2,50 (62,5%) with enough criteria at first cycle and improved as 3,50 (80,75%) in excellent criteria at second cycle. Also, there was an improving of students achievement that was 62,5% at first cycle and improved to 88% at second cycle. Therefore, it showed that there was an improving of students comprehension ability in solubility and solubility product concept through Cooperative learning of Think-Pair-Share type. Hence, the hypothesis that stated, If in learning about solution and result times solution used cooperative learning of Think-Pair-Share type then students comprehension ability in XI class of SMA N 1 Suwawa can improve is accepted.

Abstract

This research is class act based research that had been done on the second semester 2008/2009 academic year, the total number of students are fifteen (15), consist of four (4) men and elevent (11) women. This research is done into two cycles and use one teacher as observer 1 and one else observer 2. the aim of the research is to increase the students learning result of class XI IPA MA Al-Huda Gorontalo on solubility and solubility product by using problem possing approach. In this research, the dat are taken by teacher activities monitoring sheet and students as long as teaching and learning process, also the test of students learning result. The succsessfull qualification of this research is 85% students get mark 6,5 also monitoring to teacher activities and students achieve 70%. From the result of research show that learning by using problem possing approach can increase the students learning result. It can be proven on increasing the students learning result 20% in cycle I, from 73,3% to 93,3%or average the mark from 64,3 to 71,2.

Abstract

This study aims to utilize corn cob charcoal made briketdengan using sago pereket used variation in the ratio between sago and charcoal are: 1:3, 1:4, 2:3, 2:5. charcoal briquettes are made of corn cobs proksimasi testing include: air.kadar ash content, volatile compounds decomposition levels, the levels of heat, carbon-bound, and test the density of briquettes. comparing the corn cob charcoal briquettes with briquette quality standards through test proksimasi. test results of corn cob charcoal briquettes proksimasi dalah as follows: the level of water in 1:3 variation was 6.66%.,, 1:4 is 7.30%., 2:3 is 8.66%., 2:5 is 7.50%., 1:3 variation in ash content was 3.28%., 1:4 is 3.11%., 2:3 and 2:5 were 3.50% is 3.40%., Dekomposi volatile compounds in variations of 1:3 is 44.58., 1:4 is 58.99%., 2:3 is 2:5 adalah51 62.02%, 30%. Carbon bound to the variation of 1:3 is 45.48%., 1:4 is 54.56., 2:3 and 2:5 is 25.84 is 41.20. Calorific value of the variation of 1:3 is 6757kal / g. 1:4 is 6150kal / g., 2:3 is 3758 cal / g and 2:5 is 2912 cal / g.Kerapatan at 1:3 variation is 0.63 g/cm3., 1:4 is 0.60 g / cm3.,., 2:3 is 0.56 cal / g and 2:5 is 0.55 cal / g. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model on students' creative thinking skills on the reaction rate topic. This quantitative research used true experimental design of pretest-posttest control. The samples used in this study were from 11th grade at SMA Negeri 1 Pinolosian. The experimental class sample was given treatment of the CTL learning model while the control class used conventional learning, respectively, were 31 and 30 students of 93 populations. Based on a questionnaire, students' creative thinking skills were obtained through observation during the learning process. The data analysis of the test instrument was carried out through a validity test using the product-moment correlation technique (significant level = 0.05), Lilliefors normality test, homogeneity of variance test and ttest. The CTL implementation questionnaire and instrument test data were converted into percentages and categorized. The results showed that the application of the CTL model had a positive effect on students' creative thinking abilities, evidenced by the average score of students in the experimental class before and after treatment increased from 14.55 to 74.84. Otherwise, in the control class, the scores were 30.59 to 33.56. The percentage of students' achievement in creative thinking aspects in the experimental class was good (61%-80%) while the control class was less good (21%-40%). The creative thinking abilities of both classes are very different, which is also reflected in the learning outcomes. The value of tcount (2.240) was greater than ttable (2.042) at the significant level = 0.05, and the hypothesis of H0 was rejected, or H1 was accepted. The application of the CTL learning model positively influenced students' creative thinking skills on the reaction rate material. Students' low originality abilities compared to fluency, flexibility, and elaboration abilities were also discussed.

Abstract

This objective of this study for investigate mental models of SMA Negeri 1 Telaga students about electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions. Data was collected by giving a mental model test in the form of two-level multiple choice in class X involving 196 students. The results showed that the analysis of the mental model of students of class X science about electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions was 38% classified as scientific mental models and 62% alternative mental models, which consisted of 30% partially correct mental models, 32% misconceptions (Specific Misconception) and 0% no response (No Responds). Thus, most students do not yet have a complete mental model in understanding the material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions.

Abstract

DYRK2 (Dual-specificity tyrosine phosphorylation-regulated kinase 2) merupakan protein kinase yang memiliki banyak peranan dalam berbagai proses biologis, termasuk pembelahan sel, proliferasi sel, diferensiasi sel, dan apoptosis. DYRK2 diantaranya terlibat dalam regulasi siklus sel dengan cara mengatur aktivitas proteasom 26S sehingga inhibisi aktivitas DYRK2 dapat menghambat fungsi proteasom 26S dan mengurangi proliferasi sel kanker. Secara in vitro, kurkumin menunjukan kemampuan mengurangi proliferasi sel kanker melalui penghambatan enzim DYRK2. Pada penelitian ini, analog kurkumin telah diskrining dari database bahan alam Zinc15 dengan menggunakan model farmakofor yang diperoleg dengan pendekatan berbasis ligan. Hasil skrining kemudian dievaluasi dengan menerapkan teknik docking molekuler dan dinamika molekuler berdasarkan energi interaksi, rata-rata energi pengikatan bebas dan stabilitas interaksi antara ligan dan situs aktif DYRK2. Skrining terhadap 270.547 molekul dari database bahan alam Zinc15 menghasilkan 110 senyawa hit terpilih. Dengan mempertimbangkan hasil simulasi docking dan dinamika molekuler, tiga analog kurkumin prospektif telah dipilih yaitu ZINC000085597244, ZINC000217945958, dan ZINC000217643970. Molekul-molekul ini memiliki kriteria yang lebih baik dibandingkan kurkumin pada beberapa kriteria, seperti energi interaksi, energi pengikatan bebas, dan stabilitas interaksi dengan target. Disimpulkan, senyawa-senyawa ZINC000085597244, ZINC000217945958, dan ZINC000217643970 diprediksi sebagai kandidat potensial untuk obat anti-kanker dengan mekanisme aksi spesifik terhadap DYRK2.
