Abstract

This research was conducted because people are increasingly losing their character and identity as an excellent Indonesian nation, and the low public awareness of religious activities. For this reason, this study aims to analyze and examine the remembrance of Ratib Al-Haddad to strengthen religious character education. The approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative type of case study. Data collection uses observation and in-depth interviews and is supported by documentation. The research location is in Kaling Village, Tasikmadu District, Karanganyar Regency. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. The results showed that efforts to strengthen religious character education in Kaling Village provided the community an understanding of religious character through remembrance of Ratib Al-Haddad activities led by Kyai. Strengthening character education through remembering Ratib Al-Haddad includes moral knowing, feeling, and doing. This research implies that all parties need support to achieve a common goal, namely creating a harmonious religious character.

Abstract

Purpose – This study investigates the influence of educational level, work experience, and work commitment on the quality of authentic leadership among elementary school principals in Surakarta. Given the initial findings indicating low levels of authentic leadership among these principals, the study seeks to fill a gap in the literature by exploring how these factors contribute to enhancing leadership quality in an educational context. Design/methods/approach – A correlational research design was employed to explore the relationships between the variables. The study sampled 110 principals from a population of 255 in Surakarta using cluster random sampling. Data were collected through validated and reliable questionnaires measuring work experience, work commitment, and authentic leadership quality, alongside the educational level of the principals. Data analysis included classical assumption tests and regression analysis to determine the significance of the relationships. Findings – The study found significant positive relationships between educational level, work experience, and work commitment with authentic leadership quality. Specifically, regression analysis revealed that higher education levels, greater work experience, and stronger work commitment positively influenced the quality of authentic leadership. These findings suggest that these factors are critical in developing authentic leadership in school settings. Research implications – This research contributes to the understanding of authentic leadership within educational management by identifying key factors that enhance leadership quality among school principals. It provides empirical evidence supporting the importance of formal education, practical experience, and commitment in cultivating effective and authentic leadership.

Abstract

Stres kerja berpengaruh besar dalam kelancaran untuk mencapai tujuan karyawan, ketika karyawan mengalami stres maka akan membuat karyawan berpikir negatif dan mengganggu karyawan saat berlangsungnya proses bekerja. Penelitian ini mencoba meneliti korelasi kecerdasan emosional, keharmonisan keluarga, dan kualitas lingkungan kerja dengan stres kerja pada karyawan sma batik surakarta. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu 131 karyawan SMA Batik Surakarta. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan bantuan SPSS, di dapatkan hasil penelitian yaitu kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh terhadap stres kerja, namun keharmonisan keluarga dan kualitas lingkungan kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap stres kerja. Namun begitu, kecerdasan emosional, keharmonisan keluarga, dan kualitas lingkungan kerja bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap stres kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the alignment between the study programs offered at Vocational High Schools (SMK) in the Bogor region and the competencies required by the local labor market. Given the rapid development of industries in sectors such as agribusiness, manufacturing, and services in Bogor, ensuring that SMK graduates possess relevant skills is crucial to enhance their employability. This research adopts a mixed-method approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative techniques. The quantitative data, collected through surveys, measures the extent to which study programs meet industry needs, while qualitative data obtained from interviews provide deeper insights into the perceptions of educational stakeholders and industry representatives. The study involves 120 respondents, including school principals, teachers, alumni, and industry representatives. The findings reveal significant gaps in several areas, particularly in technical skills and soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and adaptability, which are essential for readiness in the workforce. Additionally, the lack of collaboration between schools and industries, outdated curricula, and the lack of industry-specific training for educators were identified as key barriers to improving this alignment. The study concludes by recommending the establishment of stronger partnerships between SMK institutions and industries, curriculum updates, and more focused teacher development programs to address the identified gaps and ensure that SMK graduates are better prepared to meet the demands of the local labor market.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study investigates the enduring relevance curriculum of Ibn Sina's (Avicenna's) 11th-century concepts of child education in contemporary pedagogical practice. Background: As modern education systems grapple with balancing cognitive and character development, Ibn Sina's holistic approach from the Islamic Golden Age offers valuable insights that remain understudied in current literature. Aims: The research examines three key objectives: (1) analyzing Ibn Sina's educational framework for children, (2) evaluating its alignment with modern developmental theories, and (3) identifying implementation strategies for Indonesian classrooms. Methods: A qualitative systematic review was conducted, analyzing primary sources (Ibn Sina's original texts) and 35 secondary sources (2018-2023 peer-reviewed articles) through thematic coding. Results: Findings reveal four persistent relevancies: (a) developmental stage-based curriculum mirroring modern constructivist approaches, (b) integrated moral-intellectual-physical development anticipating heutagogy principles, (c) non-punitive teaching methods aligning with trauma-informed education, and (d) teacher competency standards resembling Indonesia's Guru Penggerak framework. Conclusion: Ibn Sina's philosophy provides a viable model for addressing contemporary education gaps, particularly in character education and differentiated learning. Contributions: The study offers three practical innovations: (1) a crosswalk matrix connecting classical Islamic pedagogy with 21st-century skills, (2) evidence-based recommendations for Indonesia's Merdeka Curriculum reform, and (3) a theoretical framework for culturally responsive pedagogy in Muslim-majority contexts. Abstract

Tradisi yang merupakan bagian dari kebudayaan merupakan suatu kekayaan yang sangat benilai. Oleh sebab itu, upaya penjagaan, pemeliharaan dan pelestarian budaya merupakan kewajiban tiap individu dari daerah atau bangsa tersebut. Perubahan dan pergeseran dalam pelaksanaan upacara adat diperlukan adanya perhatian dari berbagai praktisi budaya maupun ilmuwan sosial. Sebab, menjaga, memelihara dan melestarikan kebudayaan atau adat istiadat merupakan kewajiban setiap individu. Selain itu, tradisi adalah identitas sebuah daerah atau suku bangsa. Atas dasar itu, penelitian atas perubahan, pergeseran dan makna upacara tedhak siten ini kami lakukan. Tujuan dasar dari penelitian ini adalah agar masyarakat mengetahui adanya perubahan, pergeseran, dan juga memahami makna dibalik simbol-simbol dalam tradisi Tedhak Siten tersebut. Selain itu, juga agar masyarakat, terutama generasi sekarang, mengetahui bahwa bangsa kita memiliki tradisi yang unik, menarik, dan penuh makna serta fungsi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif, dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fakta secara sistematis dan objektif melalui sifat, ciri serta unsur- unsur yang terkait dengannya. Penelitian yang dilakukan di desa Bawen Kecamatan Bawen Kabupaten Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi literature. Sedangkan teknik untuk menguji keabsahan dan validitas data dengan menggunakan teknik trianggulasi, adapun peneliti menggunakan empat macam trianggulasi yakni, trianggulasi sumber data, trianggulasi peneliti, trianggulasi, trianggulasi metodologis, dan trianggulasi teoritis. Secara teoritis, upacara tedhak siten masih sering dilakukan oleh masyarakat, khusunya di Kelurahan Bawen, Kecamatan Bawen, Kabupaten Semarang. Namun, masyarakat yang masih melaksanakan tersebut bisa dikelompokkan menjadi tiga, yaitu: kelompok yang memegang pakem, dan kelompok yang mengurangi atau menambahi pakem. Hal ini dikarenakan beberapa faktor, diantaranya yaitu: faktor ekonomi, perubahan cara pandang yang dikarenakan oleh tingginya pendidikan dan modernitas, dan faktor kegagalan transformasi nilai. Sehingga mengalami pergeseran, baik berkenaan dengan bentuk dzatiyah- nya maupun makna sosialnya. Pergeseran makna sosialnya adalah pergeseran dari yang awalnya sacral menjadi profan. Bentuk profan-nya bisa sebagai: upaya menunjukkan tingkat status sosial; menjaga gengsi keluarga; dan bahkan hanya biar dianggap ‘wah’ oleh kolega atau masyarakatnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan ibu Nyai dalam character building santri perempuan di lingkungan pondok pesantren Mu’allimin Mu’allimat Babakan Ciwaringin Cirebon. Penelitian mempergunakan metodologi kualitatif didukung oleh pendekatan deskriptif. Data primer dan sekunder dikumpulkan melalui survei, wawancara, serta tinjauan literatur mengenai pimpinan lembaga dan pimpinan yayasan. Prosedurnya disempurnakan dengan peneliti yang berperan sebagai instrumen utama. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan Ibu Nyai Masthuroh sesuai dengan gaya kepemimpinan situasional Hersey dan Blanchard dengan tipikal kharismatik. sedangkan Unsur- unsur karakteristik yang dikembangkan dalam pendidikan di pondok pesantren Mu’allimat Babakan Ciwaringin Cirebon memuat enam unsur karakter, yaitu spiritualitas, jujur, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatifitas dan tanggung jawab. Implikasi dari penelitian ini bahwa efektifitas kepemimpinan berbanding lurus dengan gaya kepemimpinan yang dimiliki seorang pemimpin. Dengan kata lain, penelitian ini menguatkan teori situasional Hersey dan Blanchard.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of inter-organizational Islamic study groups (Majelis Taklim), particularly Bidayatus Salikin, in conflict resolution within multicultural communities. The research explores strategies employed to foster and sustain peace amidst differing religious organizational perspectives and backgrounds, using Johan Galtung’s theoretical framework of peacemaking, peacekeeping, and peacebuilding. Data were collected through documentation of Majelis Taklim activities, in-depth interviews, and field observations. The findings reveal that Majelis Taklim serves as an inclusive forum that enables various religious organizations to openly discuss sensitive issues through a consensus-based (musyawarah) approach. Cross-organizational activities, such as joint religious discussions and the implementation of internal codes of conduct, effectively prevent conflict and promote group harmony. Additionally, the study group initiates peacekeeping efforts through economic empowerment programs, social outreach, and the formation of inter-organizational task forces aimed at long-term peacebuilding. These strategies not only strengthen inter-organizational relations but also generate positive social outcomes. This research concludes that inter-organizational Majelis Taklim plays a strategic role in managing diversity through holistic and inclusive approaches. Their efforts contribute significantly to building a more peaceful, tolerant, and prosperous society. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a model for similar initiatives in addressing conflict in multicultural contexts.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the impact of sincerity on the resilience of adolescents in dealing with family problems. This research method is a qualitative phenomenological study. The research subjects consisted of 3 female high school students at Karya Pembangunan Paron High School who had family problems with economic difficulties, orphans and divorce. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that family problems faced by adolescents included financial challenges caused by parents who did not have a permanent job, the issue of orphaned youth and the problem of lack of attention from parents due to a broken home divorce. A sincere picture of childhood in dealing with family problems, namely surrendering to Allah SWT. Adolescent resilience in dealing with family problems through family behaviour that supports each other, friendship environmental factors, the understanding that everything owned is only a deposit and expressions of gratitude. The impact of sincerity on the resilience of adolescents in dealing with family problems is obtaining inner satisfaction, understanding that we should not love the world excessively, feeling relieved after letting go and being persistent in doing good. Keywords: Sincere, Resilience, Family Problem, Youth Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dampak ikhlas pada resiliensi remaja dalam menghadapi masalah keluarga. Metode penelitian ini merupakan studio kualitatif fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 3 siswi remaja SMA Karya Pembangunan Paron yang memiliki masalah keluarga kesulitan ekonomi, yatim dan perceraian. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permasalahan keluarga yang dihadapi remaja antara lain masalah kesulitan ekonomi yang disebabkan oleh faktor orang tua yang tidak memiliki pekerjaan tetap, masalah remaja yatim dan masalah kurangnya perhatian orang tua akibat dari broken home perceraian. Gambaran ikhlas remaja dalam menghadapi masalah keluarga yaitu berserah diri kepada Allah SWT. Resiliensi remaja dalam menghadapi masalah keluarga melalui perilaku keluarga yang saling mendukung, faktor lingkungan pertemanan, pemahaman bahwa segala yang dimiliki hanya titipan, dan ungkapan syukur. Dampak ikhlas pada resiliensi remaja dalam menghadapi masalah keluarga yaitu memperoleh kepuasan batin, memaknai bahwa kita tidak seharusnya menyayangi dunia secara berlebihan, merasa lega setelah mengiklaskan dan istiqomah dalam melakukan kebaikan. Abstract

Pembinaan karakter merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pendidikan untuk membentuk individu yang memiliki nilai-nilai luhur. Projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji tahapan pembinaan karakter melalui projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila di MIN 7 Boyolali. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan enam tahapan dalam pembinaan karakter siswa, yaitu melibatkan pembentukan tim fasilitator sebagai penggerak utama, asesmen lingkungan dan gagasan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan dan potensi di lingkungan sekolah dan masyarakat, perancangan projek untuk memberikan kerangka kerja terstruktur, penyusunan modul untuk pemahaman mendalam tentang tujuan dan nilai dalam pembinaan karakter, pelaksanaan projek sebagai kesempatan siswa menerapkan pemahaman dan keterampilan, dan pelaporan projek untuk berbagi hasil pembelajaran. Enam tahapan pembinaan karakter melalui projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila ke dalam kehidupan siswa. Temuan ini dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan pembinaan karakter melalui projek untuk memperkuat pofil pelajar dalam konteks Pancasila.
