Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine how the readiness of infrastructure at tourist destinations in achieving sustainable tourism development in Bangka Belitung Islands, Indonesia. Research methods: The method used in this study is the IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) which is used to measure a person's level of satisfaction with the performance of others. The sample used in this study were 400 samples. Results and discussions: The results showed that the development of infrastructure at tourist destinations in the province of Bangka Belitung the main concern is the health facilities, security facilities, educational facilities and playing, the information center or the sale and handling of waste or garbage while the infrastructure is perceived less important and the level of satisfaction is at lower level, namely the availability of public transportation, bus stops, hotel/resort, souvenir shop/souvenirs, minimart, ATM/money changer as well as cultural and arts facilities, sports facilities, disable facilities, and lockers. Conclusion: That the development of infrastructure at district/ town is located on the main priorities and strengthening the necessary infrastructure and development in order to satisfy the future be tourist infrastructure.

Abstract

Tempilang Village is one of the culture-based villages in Bangka Barat District which has historical value and various cultural attractions. However, there are some factors which may inhibit the position of Tempilang Village as a tourism-based village, such as the inadequate role of the local district government in managing cultural assets, especially in its utilization as a tourism attraction, community involvement in promoting villages and the role of cross sectors in development of cultural and economic potentials in Tempilang Village. This research aimed at formulating a sustainable cultural tourism development strategy to enhance the cultural potential and economic condition of the surrounding local community. This research used descriptive qualitative analysis, content analysis, IFAS EFAS and SWOT matrix. The results of the IFAS and EFAS analysis in the SWOT Cartesian diagram indicated that Tempilang Village is in a favorable position with the dominant strength and opportunity factors and growth strategy as the main focus of the development strategy. Based on the results of analysis of internal and external factors using the SWOT matrix, there were four main strategies for sustainable tourism development to be implemented in Tempilang Village, including strategies for optimizing the management of cultural tourism, strategies for optimizing the potential of home based enterprises in the village to support tourism activities, utilizing intangible culture in the village as a product of cultural tourism and managing tangible cultural assets in the village through opportunities for cooperation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of management experts, professional skepticism and professional ethics on the auditor's ability to detect fraud with intelligence emotional as a moderating variable. This research was conducted at the Makassar City Inspectorate. This research is an explanatory study with a quantitative approach. The study used a saturated sample method with a sample of 25 people. Analysis data in this research using multiple regression analysis with absolute difference value. The results of multiple analysis show that management experts, professional skepticism and professional ethics have a positive and significant effect on the auditor's ability to detect fraud. The result of the analysis show that emotional intelligence is able to moderate expert management and professional skepticism towards the auditor's ability to detect fraud, while emotional intelligence does not moderate professional ethics on the auditor's ability to detect fraud.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of beta on return by using two unconditional and conditional approaches. In this study a sample of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange used the LQ 45 Index for the period January 2011 to December 2015. From the tests obtained results showed that in the unconditional beta approach the stock had a positive and insignificant effect on stock returns. Whereas by using a conditional approach, the results obtained where beta and return have a significant positive effect when the positive risk premium and a positive effect are not significant when the risk premium is negative.Keyword: Beta, Return, Risk Premium, Unconditional, Conditional.

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to empower a group of target communities to become independent communities. After empowerment is carried out through appropriate technology produced and training activities for 8 (eight) months for the Brick Business partner Mr. Zulkiflide detail the output targets are as follows: a) Management improvement. Indicators of the success of PKM activities in the form of improving management of partners, namely: the implementation of neat and good business financial reports on a continuous basis, as well as the application of marketing strategies to businesses. b) increased knowledge of product marketing strategies. Indicators of the success of PKM activities in the form of increasing knowledge about product marketing strategies to partners, namely: 100% e-commerce application and continuous stone stock calculation applications, c) increasing knowledge about business capital/bank credit. Indicators of increasing knowledge about business capital/bank credit to partners, namely: understanding in making bank credit proposals. The working procedures in this PKM are as follows: Stage of Making Appropriate Technology for e-commerce web and brick stock calculation applications, Training stages, namely: Business Management Training (Training on making and presenting financial reports and marketing training strategies), training on the use of e-commerce and the application of the calculation of the stock of bricks, training in capital management for micro-enterprises and a simulation of making bank loan proposals, and the PKM evaluation stage. The results of this PKM can increase the competitiveness of partners' businesses; the application of science and technology by 60%; and an increase in knowledge and skills by 70%.

Abstract

The pepper plant is a main commodity for farmer in the Bangka city because it has a reasonably high selling power and a distinctive taste also long history. Still, many problems occur because Bangka Belitung has a national and international role, resulting in less and less influence on the economic conditions of pepper farmers, wrong one factor is the lack of use of information technology by pepper farmers in the current era, both for marketing and for financial records. This study aims to build a financial recording system for pepper farmers based on websites and android applications to make it easier for farmers to produce financial documents and become a financial report for farmers and outsiders.  The technique used in this research is the waterfall method, which will facilitate the development of an information framework. This research aims to make applications for pepper farmers in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands and help financial management. Pepper farmers can utilize information technology for their interests in the industrial era 4.0 and improve information technology expertise in increasing the well fare of pepper farmers

Abstract

An Analysis of Faktor that Influence the Accounting Students to Select Their Career as a Lecturer (A Case study at Economic Faculty of  Bangka Belitung University).This study aims to determine the effect of intrinsic value of work, income, availability of work opportunities, work environment, sacrifice of profession, skills, and work understanding to career selection of accounting students being a lecturer. Primary data is collected from the field. Samples are 119 students using Slovin formula and analyzed by factor analysis.The analysis yields there are two factors affecting the career selection of accounting students being a lecturer. First, job information consisted of some variables such as income, availability of work opportunities, and work understanding. Second, personality consisted of work intrinsic value and work environment. There is relation between those factors showed by the result of analisis factor in which the magnitude of both is high enough over 0.5 (50%). The amount of the first factor is 65% and the second one is 57.9%. So, it can be concluded that the most dominant factor is the first factor (job information).Keyword : intrinsic value of work, income, availability of work opportunities, work environment, sacrifice of profession. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test the hypothesis of the influence of independent variables namely ROI, ROE, EPS, DER, CSR while the dependent variable is Stock Return. This research approach is a fixed effect approach, general effects, and random effects approach. The sample used in this study was 19 Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2018 period. The results showed that ROI, ROE, EPS, and DER partially did not affect Stock Return, while CSR partially affected stock returns on Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2018 period. This means that the companies sampled in this study stated that CSR is a form of commitment in improving welfare through social and environmental responsibility, CSR also provides long-term benefits by increasing the company's reputation and branding, efficiency, internal party appreciation, and strong profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the loan to deposit ratio, interest rates, inflation, and intellectual capital on profitability at the Indonesian Conventional Bank. This study uses panel data regression using three models: Common Effect, Fixed Effect, and Random Effects. The Chow and Hussman test results show that the best model is using the random effect model. The random effect model results show that the loan to deposit ratio and inflation effects, but interest rates and intellectual capital have no impact on profitability. This means that investors consider net income and pay attention to such as Loan to Deposit Ratio and Intellectual Capital. The company's performance in managing capital to be more effective and efficient, thereby increasing added value for companies and investors.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the world including Indonesia since early 2020 has had The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of company size and net working capital towards holding cash with profitability as an intervening variable. This Research uses quantitative methods with 2013-2017 observation years. The research sample consisted of 15 food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while the method used was purposive sampling. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression and path analysis. The results showed the size of the company had a negative and not significant effect on profitability, net working capital was positive and not significant on profitability. Company size, net working capital, and profitability have a positive and significant influence on cash holding. Profitability is not able to mediate the effect of company size on cash holding.But profitability is able to mediate the effect of net working capital on cash holding
