Abstract

This research focuses on the learning strategies of Al-Azhar Pare Kediri Arabic Course Institute to improve students' ability to practice Arabic both in terms of speaking (Muhadasah), writing (Kitabah), listening (Istima') and reading (Qiraah) using innovative methods. The majority of students have learned Arabic properly so that many of them managed to continue their studies in the Middle East and develop Arabic after studying at Al-Azhar Pare Kediri. The results showed that the learning strategy at Al-Azhar Pare Kediri is very structured, both in terms of learning materials and in the readiness of teachers to provide innovative methods to create an interesting and fun learning atmosphere, besides that students can choose Arabic course programs that suit their abilities and expertise.

Abstract

This article focuses on kyai leadership in developing da'wah strategies through wayang art at the Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda, Sragen. This da'wah strategy refers to the da'wah pattern echoed by the Wali Songo in the past when spreading Islam without abandoning the customs, traditions and culture that had developed in the archipelago. The strategy implemented by Wali Songo is also carried out by the Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda in Sragen, with activities that have become the pondok pesantren routine since 1986 until now, gaining enthusiasm and interest from the santri, the surrounding community and even from outside the area. This routine takes the form of recitation and wayang art which is regularly held every night of Ahad Legi.

Abstract

Living pharmacies focus on the use of medicinal plants and spices that can be grown at home or in the surrounding environment to support the health and welfare of the community. Medicinal plants have long been used as traditional medicine in various cultures around the world. Living pharmacies are emerging as an attractive option with increasing interest in holistic health and sustainability. Many medicinal plants contain bioactive compounds that have medical benefits such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial. This research uses a participatory approach with the following steps: (1) Needs assessment through observations and interviews with local communities, (2) Implementation of training and workshops regarding medicinal plant cultivation techniques and the health benefits of plants, (3) Making living pharmacies by planting various medicinal plants in several home yards, gardens, parks, and (4) Monitoring and evaluating the impact of training and implementation of living pharmacies. Participants showed increased knowledge regarding the benefits of medicinal plants and the ability to cultivate and utilize these plants. People are starting to use medicinal plants for their daily health needs.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pasar tradisional di era milenial mulai terasingkan atas kehadiran pasar modern yang merajalela tidak hanya di kota, namun sudah merambah ke pelosok-pelosok desa. Keterasingan ini dikarenakan banyak orang yang merasa lebih nyaman berkunjung ke pasar modern karena dinilai lebih bersih, aman, rapi, dan wangi. Mendasar pada problematika tersebut, pemerintah dan masyarakat perlu untuk bersinergi dalam merawat keberadaan pasar tradisional agar tidak hilang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan sudut pandang keilmuan kajian budaya, yaitu didasarkan pada pengumpulan, analisis, dan interpretasi data berbentuk narasi serta visual. Hasil dari penelitian ini memaparkan bahwa slogan “Negeri Ngawi Ramah” dengan makna filosofi perilaku ramah dan juga “dari, oleh dan untuk” Ngawi, mampu mengintegrasikan eksistensi pasar tradisional sebagai media merawat kearifan lokal. Esensi dari pasar tradisional adalah transaksi sosial dan upaya tawar menawar. Dua hal itu yang tidak ditemui di pasar modern. Keberadaan pasar menjadi simbol kemanusiaan yang harmonis, humanis, dan naturalis yang sesuai fitrah manusia sebagai makhluk sosial. Kata Kunci: pasar tradisional, Negeri Ngawi Ramah, kabupaten Ngawi   Abstract: Traditional markets in the millennial era have begun to be alienated from the presence of modern markets which are rampant not only in cities, but have penetrated remote villages. This alienation is because many people feel more comfortable visiting modern markets because they are considered cleaner, safer, neater, and smell better. Based on these problems, the government and society need to work together in caring for the existence of the market so that it does not disappear. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a scientific point of view of cultural studies, which is based on the collection, analysis and interpretation of data in the form of narrative and visual. The results of this study explain that the slogan "Negeri Ngawi Ramah" with the meaning of the philosophy of friendly behavior and also "from, by and for" Ngawi, is able to integrate the existence of traditional markets as a medium for caring for local wisdom. The essence of traditional markets is social transactions and bargaining efforts. Two things that are not found in the modern market. The existence of the market is a symbol of a harmonious, humanist and naturalist humanity which is in accordance with human nature as a social being. Abstract

Abstract: Buffalo is a strong and large animal that is mostly bred by the people of Bulak Pepe hamlet, Banyubiru village. The motivation for buffalo farming in the village, apart from being inherited from generation to generation, is also based on a system of saving wealth in the form of livestock that can be bred. Hundreds of buffalo support the community's economy in which there are also values ​​and norms from customs and traditions that make Bulak Pepe hamlet a cultural village. he formulation of the problem in this research is, first, how are efforts to strengthen the Banyubiru buffalo village community as a symbol of wealth? second, how did the Banyubiru buffalo village become a cultural entity? The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The researcher served as the key instrument, sampling data sources purposively and snowballing, collecting techniques using data triangulation, and data analysis were inductive/qualitative, and the emphasis on the results was more on meaning than generalization. The theory used is the concept of habitus as the truth of symbolic domination which was initiated by Pierre Bourdieu. The results of this research are that the people of Bulak Pepe term the buffalo as a 'raja kaya' animal, meaning that the animal is treated as a king, manifesting as a symbol of wealth, namely the buffalo has a high selling value, its existence can be a symbol of wealth for the people of Bulak Pepe village, Banyubiru village. Traditions of cultural entities can attract tourists so that they can have an impact on the community's economy, including many buffalo buyers who come from the Ngawi area or outside Ngawi who are ready to buy their livestock. Abstract

In the context of celebrating the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, carnival costumes are often the center of attention. However, processing of plastic waste as basic material for costumes is still minimal, especially in the Islamic boarding school community. This research aims to explore the potential for using plastic waste in making carnival costume hand crafts as part of creative and educational activities for students at the Banu Saudah Islamic Boarding School. This approach not only offers a creative alternative to recycling plastic waste, but also teaches students about the importance of sustainability and practical skills. The research results show that the use of plastic waste not only produces unique and attractive carnival costumes, but also provides an opportunity for students to understand and apply the concept of recycling. This activity also increases environmental awareness and practical skills among students. It is hoped that the implementation of this program can become a model for similar initiatives in other communities, as well as encourage creative use of plastic waste in festive and educational contexts.

Abstract

At Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an al-Munawarah, Pandanan Hadiluwih Village, one of the challenges faced is improving the students’ ability to memorize Asmaul Husna, the 99 names of Allah which have special meaning and priority in Islam. To overcome this challenge, the singing method is used as an innovative approach to the memorization process. The singing method is a real learning approach that is able to make the female students of Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an al-Munawarah Pandanan happy and happy, so that they are enthusiastic about reciting the al-Qur’an at Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an. Children are guided in a psychological state to build a happy soul through tonal and rhythmic expressions which make the learning atmosphere more enjoyable. Learning will be easier to instill through songs because the lyrics are often repeated, so that when singing, children without realizing it train their memory. This method not only improves memorization skills but also motivates students and enriches their learning experience. Memorizing Asmaul Husna can also stimulate students’ love for Allah Swt, so that they can become a generation of believers, pious, Islamic and Qur’anic.

In the context of youth, this phenomenon is reflected in election style dressing that is not only influenced by global trends , but also by values local and specific group identities . Today's youth utilise clothing as a medium of expression self , symbol resistance , or even form affirmation to identity his group . With the existence of the influence of social media and culture popular , development style These clothes are increasingly dynamic and reflective complexity interaction between multiculturalism , politics identity , as well as current globalization . Therefore that , research about connection third This aspect is important to understand how young people interpret identity and diversity in modern life . Changes have an impact on the lifestyle of young people in terms of clothing. Young people tend to choose clothing styles based on what they see on social media sites, for example fashion trends for cewek kue, cewek bumi, and cewek mamba . This study uses method qualitative descriptive approach studies bibliography , which is based on the collection and analysis designed to produce appropriate ideas. The results of this study explain that there is an influence between lifestyle in dressing and identity politics for young people to appear modern.
