Abstract

Background: Character education plays a crucial role in shaping the moral foundation of a nation, influencing the quality of human resources. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (IRE), the integration of character values is essential to nurturing ethical behavior among students. Purpose: This research explores the implementation of character values integration into IRE at Madrasah Aliyah. Method: Employing a qualitative descriptive research methodology, this study identifies the collaborative efforts required from all components of the madrasa, including the principal, teachers, and educational staff, to successfully integrate character values into the learning process. Result: The findings indicate that the integration process requires comprehensive support from all stakeholders to ensure optimal internalization of character values. Conclusion: The study concludes that the integration of character education within IRE is most effective when supported by adequate facilities and institutional cooperation, leading to a more holistic development of students' character.

Abstract

The issue of gender binary, sexuality, and human rights in Islamic education discourse in Indonesia is an area that is often neglected but crucial for the relevance of religious education in the contemporary era. Aiming to analyze the understanding of PAI teachers, school principals, and students regarding these issues and how PAI reflects or responds to them, this study identifies challenges and opportunities in integrating non-binary perspectives. Using a qualitative approach with a multiple case study design at SMAN 1 and SMAN 2 in Ciamis District, data were collected through in-depth interviews with four PAI teachers, two school principals, and several students, supplemented by document analysis. The research indicates that the majority of PAI teachers and school leaders also retain a binary understanding of gender and sexuality. Many of these teachers also report feeling inadequately prepared or unable to know where to start when it comes to teaching these issues. Although there is a general commitment to human rights, its implementation in these sensitive issues remains limited. On the other hand, students demonstrate ambiguity, accepting the binary narrative of PAI while also being exposed to diversity from other sources, creating a gap between formal teachings and their lived realities. As a result, PAI risks losing relevance and creating an environment that is less inclusive if it does not adapt to broader socio-cultural realities. This requires curriculum development, teacher training, and more progressive school policies to foster a more comprehensive understanding of religion, humanity, and diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to describe character education through technology-based which is carried out in Islamic schools, namely in the form of extracurriculars at MAN 1 Darussalam Ciamis and digital literacy which is included in the curriculum at Al-Azhar Islamic High School 5 Cirebon.  This research was conducted in April-May 2022, with the subject of research by the Vice Principal of the Curriculum section and students. The method used is a descriptive method using a qualitative approach. Data collection used several guidelines including interview guidelines, documentation studies, and observations. The results of the research at MAN 1 Darussalam Ciamis showed that: (1) Robotics extracurricular activities are carried out every Thursday at 15.00-end; (2) Activities are carried out at the Robotics Lab, Integrated Religious Laboratory Building; (3) Activities are carried out with the supervision of a teacher and coach; (4) Material taught in robotics extracurricular activities includes material training and work programs. The results of research at Al-Azhar Islamic High School 5 Cirebon show that: (1) Digital literacy activities are included in the school curriculum; (2) Digital literacy activities are carried out in the School Mosque Hall; (3) The activity is attended by all students of class X, XI and XII every Friday at 07.00-08.00 WIB; (4) Digital literacy activities are carried out with the supervision of the Vice Principal of the Curriculum Section and several teachers; (5) The material taught includes training on various digital applications that are useful in learning, and work programs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi belum maksimalnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dalam mendukung pencapaian program pembelajaran maupun tujuan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui manajemen pengelolaan media pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah dasar dalam perencanaan pembelajaran sudah membuat silabus dan menyiapkan RPP sebelum melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar guna sebagai panduan dalam proses pembelajaran. Adapun tahapan guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran yakni melaksanakan kegiatan pendahuluan, melaksanakan kegiatan Inti dan melaksanakan kegiatan penutup. Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah Dasar mengevaluasi penilaian hasil belajar melalui tugas rumah (PR) atau tugas di kelas, ujian semester, tes tertulis maupun lisan, tanya jawab dan pastinya sikap yang tercermin. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa sangat penting mengelola media pembelajaran, sebagai daya dukung keberhasilan pendidikan. Dengan memanfaatkan manajemen pada penggunaan media pembelajaran, berdampak pada efisiensi dan efektivitas proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang menciptakan teknologi pendidikan dan implementasinya pada pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini menggunakan metode atau pendekatan kepustakaan (library research), bahwa studi pustaka atau kepustakaan dapat diartikan sebagai serangkaian kegiatan yang berkenaan dengan metode pengumpulan data pustaka, membaca dan mencatat serta mengolah bahan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemajuan-kemajuan teknologi saat ini tidak bisa terlepas dari semua aktivitas manusia, tidak terkecuali dalam aktivitas penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Hanya saja, diketahui bahwa kemajuan teknologi ini memiliki dua aspek, yakni aspek positif dan aspek negatif sehingga kita harus benar-benar cermat dalam pengaplikasiannya. Seiring dengan terjadinya pandemi Covid-19 disegala penjuru dunia termasuk juga di Indonesia maka hal tersebut sangat berimplikasi terhadap pembaharuan sistem pendidikan kita yang menyebabkan para peserta didik dipacu untuk beradaptasi dan berselancar dengan berbagai macam perkembangan teknologi khususnya di bidang pendidikan. Sehingga dalam hal ini kemajuan teknologi itu diharapkan dapat menunjukan bahwa teknologi memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pembelajaran apalagi pada saat keadaan pandemi. Adapun salah satu bentuk perubahan sistem Pendidikan kita adalah pembelajaran dalam jaringan yang sebelumnya pembelajaran itu dilaksanakan secara luar jaringan.

Abstract

Education to revive character is one of the alternative answers to renew the aridity of our educational output. This spirit of value education must be internalized in all components of education so as to create educational outputs that have a balance of competencies both on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor planes. This research was conducted to reveal student character through the integration of character values in PAI learning which was implemented at MTs Al-Fadliyah Darussalam Ciamis. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis, with data collection carried out by observation supplemented by interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that MTs Al-Fadliliyah Darussalam Ciamis integrates character (religious, honest, independent, communicative, responsible and democratic and etc) in PAI learning which is carried out with special emphasis on material, methods and is supported by several madrasah programs. In general, the integration of character values in PAI learning runs effectively, because it is supported by sufficient facilities at MTs Al-Fadliliyah Darussalam Ciamis.
