Abstract

Latar Belakang:. Konseling pada ibu hamil akan mempengaruhi pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku ibu hamil terhadap kepatuhan mengkonsumsi tablet Fe dalam upaya pencegahan anemia. Kepatuhan minum tablet besi (Fe) merupakan bentuk perilaku yang terwujud karena adanya pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari luar, serta keyakinan dan adanya dorongan dari orang lain, seperti petugas kesehatan, keluarga, tetangga, atau teman dekat. Bagi pelaksana dan pengelola program, arti keberhasilan program adalah meningkatnya cakupan program pemberian tablet besi (Fe) dan menurunnya prevalensi anemia pada sasaran yang dilayani. Tujuan: Mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara konseling dengan kepatuhan ibu hamil trimester III dalam mengkonsumsi tablet Fe. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan cross sectional dengan pendekatan rancangan point time approach, dengan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive sampling, sampel 56 responden, instrument penelitian lembar kuesioner. Hasil: Hasil analisa bivariat mayoritas ibu mendapatkan konseling kurang baik dan mayoritas ibu hamil tidak patuh dalam mengkonsumsi tablet Fe. Hasil analisa bivariat dengan uji Chi-Square menunjukkan nilai Pvalue (0,000) < 0,05. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan antara konseling dengan kepatuhan ibu hamil trimester III dalam mengkonsumsi tablet Fe di Puskesmas Sangkrah Kecamatan Pasar Kliwon Surakarta.

Abstract

Background: Final-year students are entrusted with the responsibility of completing their final assignments as a prerequisite for graduation and degree attainment. The prevalence of mental health problems among these students is higher, with more pronounced stress symptoms compared to new students. Central Java is ranked third, reporting 95,461 cases of emotional and mental disorders among individuals aged 15 and above. Expressive writing, which revolves around emotions, assists each student in channeling and expressing their anger through written words. Objective: Depicting students' stress levels through the implementation of expressive writing to reduce stress among those finalizing their Independent Study (KTI) at Universitas 'Aisyiyah Surakarta. Method: A case study approach is employed. A pretest utilizing the DASS-42 (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale) questionnaire determines respondents' stress levels. Following implementation, a posttest is conducted using the same scale. Results: Findings indicate moderate stress levels pre-implementation, which decrease to mild stress post-implementation. Conclusion: The application of expressive writing significantly influences the reduction of stress levels experienced by final-year students at Universitas 'Aisyiyah Surakarta.

Abstract

Background: In 2020, there were 2.9 million cases of perineal rupture in mothers giving birth, it is estimated that this will reach 6.8 million in 2050. Childbirth is a process that is vulnerable to various complications that can endanger the mother. Vaginal delivery is more susceptible to tearing of the perineum to varying degrees. Red betel leaves contain essential oils, hydroxycabicol, chabicol, carbibetol, allylcatechol, cineole, tanim, diastase, sugar and starch. Objective: to determine changes in wound healing before and after being given red betel leaf decoction Method: Case study with application to 2 respondents. Respondents were given red betel leaf decoction twice a day in the morning and evening for 5 consecutive days. Wounds were measured using the REEDA scale. Results: After applying red betel leaf decoction, the results showed a decrease in the rate of wound healing in both respondents, there was a decrease in scores from previously Mrs. E 10 becomes 0 (good wound healing) and Mrs. S 11 becomes 1 (poor wound healing). Conclusion: There were changes and differences in the rate of wound healing before and after giving red betel leaf decoction to the two respondents. Keywords: , ,

Abstract

Background: Elderly is a condition where a person is 60 years old. Hypertension is a condition of a person who has mixture of salt and lemongrass that can facilitate blood circulation in the body. systolic blood pressure of 140 mmHg and diastolic 80 mmHg. Data from the Kaliwungu Health Center (2023) shows that the number of hypertensive elderly is 18 elderly people. Non-pharmacological therapy that can be done by soaking warm water feet with aObjective: to determine the effect of the application of foot soak therapy using warm water with salt and lemongrass on blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension in Kaliwungu Village, Semarang Regency. Method: this application uses a case study research design with prestest and post-test design. Samples were 2 elderly people who had 2nd degree hypertension. Results: the application of there was a decrease in blood pressure that was different between respondent 1 and respondent 2 after the application of warm water foot soak with salt and lemongrass for 3 consecutive days for 20 minutes. Both respondents were categorized as grade 2 hypertension decreased to normal-high based on the PDHI classification (2019). Conclusion: Application of warm water foot soak with a mixture of salt and lemongrass can lower blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension.

Abstract

 Data according to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (2020) the incidence of phlebitis in 2020 reached 0.51%. Children are more at risk because children have different physical characteristics and attitudes than adults. From the results of observations and interviews with nurses of the Dadap Serep ward, it was found that the average child who experienced feblitis was children aged 2-6 years. To determine the results of the application of aloe vera compress in reducing the degree of feblitis in inpatients at Pandan Arang Boyolali Hospital.  Descriptive research design with a case study approach conducted on 2 respondents and a pretest-posttest research design, the application was carried out 5 times for 20 minutes in two days. The results of the application after applying aloe vera compresses for 2 days were obtained for both respondents to experience a decrease in feblitis degree from the beginning of 2 to 0.  There was a change in the degree of feblitis before and after the aloe vera compress from both .

Abstract

Background: Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by blood sugar instability caused by insufficient insulin secretion and action. Diabetes mellitus can be controlled through four pillars of management, one of which is physical activity such as progressive muscle relaxation. Progressive muscle relaxation is one of the nursing interventions that can be given to DM patients which involves regular muscle tightening and stretching to improve relaxation and self-management ability to lower blood sugar levels. Objective: Knowing the results of the application of progressive muscle relaxation with a decrease in blood glucose levels in patients with DM. Methods: Case study by comparing pre and post tests on 2 respondents conducted in May-June 2024. Results: Blood glucose levels before the application of progressive muscle relaxation in Mr. S were 452 mg/dl and 452 mg/dl. S is 452 mg/dl and after application it becomes 196 mg/dl while in Mrs. S before application it is 378 mg/dl and after application it becomes 193 mg/dl. Conclusion. There is a decrease in blood glucose levels before and after progressive muscle relaxation for 25-30 minutes in 4 days.

Abstract

Background; Stroke is a blood circulation disorder in the brain which results in the death of brain tissue. Stroke patients who experience hemiparesis can result in functional impairment, impaired mobility, impaired daily activities and irreversible disability. Purpose: This study aims to determine the results of implementing rubber ball ROM exercise on muscle strength in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients. Methods: The application was carried out using a descriptive method with a case study design in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients who are at risk of experiencing muscle weakness. The application of the rubber ball rom exercise was carried out for 4 consecutive days by holding the rubber ball for 5 seconds and repeated 7 times. Results: There was an increase in muscle strength of 1 degree in both respondents after the rubber ball ROM exercise. Conclusion: The results of the application to the two respondents between before and after being given the rubber ball ROM exercise showed an increase in muscle strength. So that rubber ball ROM exercise can be used as a non-pharmacological technique to increase muscle strength in stroke patients.

Abstract

Diabetic ulcers is a complication of diabetes mellitus resulting from autonomic neuropathy and/or vascular disorders of the limbs. One of the diabetic ulcer treatment techniques is using aloe vera gel contains anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and can repair tissue damage of diabetic ulcers.. To determine changes after applying aloe vera gel to diabetic ulcer wound healing. This research uses descriptive case studies by observing nursing care for diabetic ulcer patients using aloe vera gel at the Boyolali with an application 3x and application is carried out every 2 days using the Bates-Jensen Wound Assessment Tool. Results: The results of the assessment score before application in respondent 1 score 24 points with categories wound regeneration and respondent 2 score 30 points with categories wound regeneration. After application with aloe vera gel the score on respondent 1 was 14 points with categories wound regeneration while on respondent 2 was 11 points with categories Tissue Health. The application of aloe vera gel can be used as an effective nonpharmacological method for diabetic ulcer wound.

Abstract

Background: Elderly is someone aged 60 years and over. Factors causing hypertension are genetics, an unhealthy lifestyle. WHO in 2021 the number of hypertension sufferers will double to 1.28 billion due to population and aging in the world. One of the efforts made to lower blood pressure is hypertension exercise. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of hypertension exercise on the blood pressure of elderly in the Surakarta city area. Method: Descriptive with application to 2 respondents. Respondents had their blood pressure measured 10 minutes before doing the exercise, then they were given exercise for 30 minutes, once a week for 3 weeks, and their blood pressure was measured 15 minutes after doing the exercise. Results: After applying hypertension exercises for 3 weeks, it was found the average blood pressure of Mrs.S before the exercise was 144/93 mmHg, and Mrs.W is 148/97 mmHg. Then the average blood pressure of Mrs.S after doing the exercise was 133/89 mmHg, and Mrs.W is 133/90 mmHg. Conclusion there was a decrease in blood pressure before and after being given hypertension exercises in respondents, result of a decrease in Mrs.S's blood pressure by 11/4 mmHg and Ny.W's blood pressure by 15/7 mmHg.

Abstract

Hospitalisasi merupakan salah satu penyebab kecemasan pada anak-anak. penyebab kecemasan bagi anak-anak tersebut karena kondisi lingkungan sosial seperti sesama pasien anak-anak yang di rawat serta sikap dan interaksi petugas dan lingkungan fisik rumah sakit seperti bangunan atau ruang perawatan, peralatan rumah sakit, bau khas, petugas rumah sakit dan pakaian putih pekerja menjadi alasan kenapa anak-anak selalu merasa cemas di ruang perawatan. Tujuan : Mengetahui hasil implementasi dari penerapan play therapy coloring terhadap tingkat kecemasan hospitalisasi pada pasien anak usia prasekolah di RSUD Karanganyar. Metode : rancangan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus mengunakan metode pre dan post iplementasi dengan 2 responden anak yang mengalami kecemasan akibat hospitalisasi. Hasil : terdapat penurunan tingkat kecemasan setelah dilakukannya play therapy coloring pada pasien anak yang mengalami kecemasan akibat hospitalisasi. Kesimpulan : terdapat penurunan tingkat kecemasan pada anak di RSUD Karangayar akbiat hospitalisasi, dimana faktor jenis kelamin dan dukungan keluarga mempengaruhi penurunan tingkat kecemasan pada anak.
