Abstract

Dekubitus merupakan luka pada kulit yang terlokalisasi atau pada jaringan dibawah tulang yang menonjol akibat tekanan yang terus-menerus atau tekanan yang disertai dengan gesekan. Peran perawat dalam mengurangi dekubitus sangat penting. Menjaga integritas kulit pasien merupakan salah satu aspek terpenting dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatam. Pemberian tindakan alih baring atau dengan posisi miring kanan dan miring kiri dapat menjadikan suatu alternatif untuk penatalkasanaan pasien koma untuk mencegah dekubitus. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menurunkan resiko dekubitus pada pasien stroke non hemoragik dengan memberikan latihan mobilisasi. Metode : Penerapan dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif dengan rancangan studi kasus pada pasien stroke non hemoragik yang beresiko mengalami luka dekubitus. Penerapan mobilisasi dilakukan selama 3 hari berturut-turut. Hasil : Terdapat penurunan resiko dekubitus pada pasien stroke non hemoragik setelah dilakukan latihan mobilisasi. Kesimpulan : Adanya perbedaan perkembangan penurunan resiko dekubitus pada pasien stroke non hemoragik sebelum dan sesudah penerapan latihan mobilisasi. Sehingga mobilisasi dapat dijadikan salah satu teknik nonfarmakologis untuk mencegah resiko luka dekubitus.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a condition where systolic blood pressure exceeds 140 mmHg and/or diastolic pressure exceeds 90 mmHg. One non-pharmacological method to reduce blood pressure is the recitation of Quranic verses. Method: The method used in this research is quantitative, employing a case study approach by comparing pretest and posttest results. Objective: This study aims to describe the effectiveness of murottal therapy in reducing blood pressure in clients with hypertension. Results: The application of Al-Qur'an Surah Ar-Rahman murottal therapy for 11 minutes at a volume of 41-60 dB on two respondents showed a decrease in blood pressure from 161/94 mmHg and 164/100 mmHg to 140/85 mmHg and 145/90 mmHg, respectively. This study discusses an intervention focused on auditory therapy. Conclusion: There is a reduction in blood pressure following the application of Al-Qur’an Surah Ar-Rahman murottal therapy.

Abstract

Background: Family members may experience physical and psychological side effects, such as poor hygiene, sleep disturbances, appetite loss, anxiety, sadness, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), if they are around critically ill patients who were treated in intensive care units. Ensuring family needs are met during patients' stays in the intensive care unit can help to lessen the negative impacts. Objective: The aim of this study is to determine whether nurse motivation and meeting the needs of their critically sick patients' families are related. Methods: The type of research is quantitative, descriptive correlational to determine the relationship between nurse motivation and meeting the needs of families of critical patients. The population in this study were all ICU nurses at One of Public Hospital in Salatiga, totaling 32 people using total sampling technique. Results: The results of this study indicate that the intensive care nurses in the ICU is in the good category in nurse motivation (53,3%), also family needs fulfillment in good category (50%).  Meeting the needs of the families of critically ill patients in the intensive care unit is correlated with nurse motivation (p value < 0,000). Conclusion: As a support system for the patient's recovery and to mitigate any negative effects on the family, nurses must attend to the needs of the critical patient's family.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan penyakit yang ditandai oleh meningkatnya kadar gula darah yang lebih tinggi dari batas normal yang terjadi karena kelainan sekresi insulin, sehingga memerlukan penanganan yang tepat dan serius. Penyakit DM membutuhkan intervensi terapi seumur hidup dan juga bisa menimbulkan komplikasi hingga kematian. Kondisi ini seringkali membuat para penderita mengalami kecemasan. Berdasarkan laporan yang diperoleh dari Dinas Kesehatan Kota Surakarta jumlah prevalensi DM di Kota Surakarta tahun 2023 berjumlah 17.191. Tujuan : Mengetahui hasil perbedaan dari penerapan terapi murotal al-qur’an pada tingkat kecemasan pasien Diabetes Mellitus. Metode : Penerapan ini dengan studi kasus pada 2 responden yang mengalami kecemasan akibat menderita Diabetes Mellitus. Penerapan ini menggunakan desain deskriptif dilakukan 1 kali sehari selama 3 hari berturut-turut dalam waktu 15 menit. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah kuisioner HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale) Hasil : Adanya penurunan tingkat kecemasan setelah pemberian terapi murotal al- qur’an pada Ny. S dari tingkat kecemasan berat menjadi tingkat kecemasan sedang dan pada Tn.S dari tingkat kecemasan sedang menjadi tingkat kecemasan ringan. Kesimpulan : Penerapan ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah diberikan terapi murotal al-qur’an terjadi penurunan tingkat kecemasan pada kedua responden.

Abstract

Background: The practice of fulfilling patients' spiritual needs has various benefits, including increasing speedy recovery, preventing disease, and providing calm for patients. Fulfilling a patient's spiritual needs is one of the professional behaviors of a nurse in meeting the patient's holistic basic needs. Caring and spirituality are aspects that nurses can provide to clients as a form of quality nursing care. The professional attitude of nurses in providing caring and spiritual values ​​to clients is applied to all client conditions, including critical patients who require fast and appropriate treatment. Objective: This research aims to analyze the relationship between nurses' spiritual intelligence and nurses' caring behavior in the ICU. Method: The research population is all ICU nurses at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital, Surakarta. The research used a total sampling method with a total of 23 respondents. The research used a spiritual intelligence questionnaire and the Caring Behavior Inventory questionnaire. Results: Research shows that all respondents have high spiritual intelligence (100%) and the majority behave in caring ways (56.4%). Bivariate analysis shows a p value> 0.005 with a p value of 0.673. Conclusion: There is no relationship between spiritual intelligence and caring behavior.

Abstract

Background: Scabies is a type of contagious skin disease caused by the Sarcoptes scabiei mite. There are around 130 million people worldwide affected by scabies to date and scabies usually occurs in relatively densely populated places, such as prisons, orphanages, and Islamic boarding schools. Transmission occurs through direct contact with the sufferer's skin and if this disease is left untreated, secondary bacterial infections can occur due to scratching wounds in sufferers. Purpose:  To find out the level of knowledge of students regarding scabies incidents at the Imam Syuhodo Modern Islamic Boarding School. Methods: The type of research used in the study is descriptive research with quantitative analysis, where the sampling technique is carried out using the Quota Sampling method with a total of 89 respondents who are students of the Modern Imam Syuhodo Islamic Boarding School. The research instrument used is a questionnaire on knowledge about scabies. Results: The research shows that there are 39 students (43.8%) who have good knowledge, then 45 students (50.6%) who have sufficient knowledge, and 5 students (5.6%) who have less knowledge. Conclusion: The level of knowledge of students regarding scabies cases at the Imam Syuhodo Modern Islamic Boarding School shows that most of them have sufficient knowledge.

Abstract

The level of knowledge of the patient's family in the Stroke Unit at RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Soemarso regarding "Prevention of Decubitus in Bedrest Patients in the Stroke Unit of Dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri Hospital" is still quite low. Therefore, the group carried out PKM health education regarding the prevention of decubitus ulcers in bedrest patients in order to increase the knowledge of the patient's family in the Stroke Unit of RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Soemarso Wonogiri. The activity target to be achieved from this activity is 100% of patient families in the Stroke Unit of RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Soemarso Wonogiri who attended the event knew and understood how to prevent decubitus ulcers in bed rest patients.

Abstract

A fracture is an interrupted occurrence of bone continuity determined by the type and extent of the injury. One of his treatments is Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF). A common problem in post-operative patients is pain, so it requires non-pharmacological implementation of one of which is compressed ice gel pack. To find out the results of ice gel pack compression therapy in post-operative patients. The application was performed with a descriptive method of case study to 2 respondents with a diagnosis of fracture and performed the operation Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF) performed 6 hours after the operation for 1x within 10-15 minutes. Based on the results of the application already performed there was a decrease in the intensity of pain in postoperative patients. ice gel pack compression therapy can be used as one of the non-pharmacological techniques or independent intervention in post-operative patients in particular on the action Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF)

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of storytelling play therapy on reducing pain levels in children with leukemia in Flamboyant Room 9 at Dr. Moewardi Hospital Surakarta. Methods: The research method used is the descriptive method with a pre- and post-test in the intervention group with a case study design. Results: The results of this study indicate a decrease in pain levels in children with leukemia after being given storytelling play therapy for 3 consecutive days. Before the application of the pain scale, the two respondents experienced pain on a scale of 5 (moderate pain) and 4 (moderate pain), after being given the pain scale on scales 2 (mild pain) and 1 (mild pain). Conclusion: There is a decrease in the level of pain in children with leukemia after storytelling play therapy for 3 consecutive days at Dr. Moewardi Surakarta Hospital.

Abstract

Latar Belakang :Kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat sekitar terhadap karakteristik bahaya, kurangnya informasi atau peringatan dini yang mengakibatkan ketidaksiapan dalam menghadapi bencana salah satunya bencana kebakaran. pendidikan pengurangan resiko bencana perlu dilaksanakan di seluruh sekolah yang ada di Indonesia. Dampak bencana di bidang pendidikan dapat mengakibatkan banyaknya korban jiwa yakni peserta didik, terhentinya proses belajar mengajar rusaknya sarana dan prasarana di sekolah serta hilangnya dokumen sekolah. Metode : Pelaksanan pengabdian Masyarakat dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan pada kader di Tingkat sekolah yaitu guru. Pelatihan yang diberikan terkait penanganan bahaya kebakaran dan pertolongan saat terjadi bencana kebakaran. Hasil : Rata-rata nilai sebelum dilakukan edukasi adalah 93 dan rata-rata nilai setelah pemberian edukasi adalah 96. Hasil simulasi diperoleh hasil 57 peserta atau 90,5% mampu melakukan pertolongan pertama kebakaran dan 6 peserta (9,5%) belum mampu melakukan pertolongan pertama. Kesimpulan : Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan pada peserta setelah dilakukan edukasi dan mayoritas peserta mampu melakukan pertolongan pertama kebakaran
