Abstract

Swamedikasi adalah upaya pengobatan diri sendiri, biasanya dilakukan untuk mengatasi penyakit ringan, seperti demam, nyeri, pusing, batuk, influenza, diare, penyakit kulit. Badan Pusat Statistik mengatakan bahwa masyarakat Indonesia yang melakukan swamedikasi sebesar 72,44%. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi dengan perilaku swamedikasi di Apotek Suganda Tangen Sragen. Penelitian analitik dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan tekhnik quota sampling dengan jumlah 90 responden, dengan subjek penelitian ini adalah pembeli yang membeli obat tanpa menggunakan resep dari dokter di Apotek Suganda Tangen Sragen, sedangkan instrument penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner, analisa bivariate menggunakan uji Chi Square dengan taraf signifikasi (0,05). Hasil analisa univariate sebagian besar responden memiliki motivasi yang tinggi sebanyak 42 responden(46,7%), perilaku swamedikasi menunjukkan sebagian besar responden memiliki perilaku yang baik sebanyak 38 responden (42,2%). Hasil analisa bivariate menunjukkan nilai Exact Sig. (2-sided) (0,000) < 0,05. Terdapat hubungan motivasi dengan perilaku swamedikasi di Apotek Suganda Tangen Sragen. Kata kunci : motivasi, perilaku, swamedikasi RELATIONSHIP OF MOTIVATION WITH THE BEHAVIOR OF SELF MEDICATION ABSTRACT Self-medication is an attempt self-medication, usually done to cope with minor illnesses, such as fever, pain, dizziness, cough, influenza, diarrhea, skin diseases.The Central Statistics Agency said that the Indonesian people who self-medication were 72,44%. Sampling using the dwarf quota sampling with a population of 90 respondents, with the subject of the research is the buyer who bought drugs without the use of a prescription from a Medical Doctor at theSuganda Pharmacy Tangen Sragen, while this research instrument using bivariate analysis questionnaires, using test Chi Square with the significance level (0.05). The results of the univariate analysis most respondents have a high motivation as much as 42 respondents (46,7%), behavioural self-medication showed most respondents have good behavior as much as 38 respondents (42.2%). Bivariate analysis results show the Exact value of the Sig (2-sided) (0.000) < 0.05. There is a relationship of motivation with the behavior of self-medicationat theSuganda Pharmacy Tangen Sragen. Abstract

Full day school system in Indonesia had actually been running before the existence of a policy from the Ministry of Education and Culture, namely in private schools, international schools and religious-based schools such as Islamic boarding schools. The full day system allows children to lose some of their playing time due to the long study time at school. Children with a full day school system have a higher stress level than children with a half day school system. This is because children study at school until 15.30. Long study time results in reduced playing time for children so that children get bored easily. Adequate play time for children will have a good impact on children, they will tend not to feel a burden on themselves .Objective to determine the description of the level of stress on students in attending full day school SMA Batik 2 Surakarta. Methods This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Sampling of 96 respondents. The research instrument used the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) questionnaire. Data analysis using Univariate test. The results showed that the majority of student categories based on gender were female as many as 47 (52.2%) and the description of the level stress on students attending full day school was the majority of respondents with severe stress levels of 52 students or 57.8% and minority respondents were mild stress level with a total of 7 students or 7.8% . Conclusion the description of the level of stress on students in attending full day school at SMA Batik 2 Surakarta is relatively high with the results being the majority of 52 people (57.8%) in the severe stress category.

Abstract

Background: Elderly is a condition where a person is 60 years old. Hypertension is a condition of a person who has mixture of salt and lemongrass that can facilitate blood circulation in the body. systolic blood pressure of 140 mmHg and diastolic 80 mmHg. Data from the Kaliwungu Health Center (2023) shows that the number of hypertensive elderly is 18 elderly people. Non-pharmacological therapy that can be done by soaking warm water feet with aObjective: to determine the effect of the application of foot soak therapy using warm water with salt and lemongrass on blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension in Kaliwungu Village, Semarang Regency. Method: this application uses a case study research design with prestest and post-test design. Samples were 2 elderly people who had 2nd degree hypertension. Results: the application of there was a decrease in blood pressure that was different between respondent 1 and respondent 2 after the application of warm water foot soak with salt and lemongrass for 3 consecutive days for 20 minutes. Both respondents were categorized as grade 2 hypertension decreased to normal-high based on the PDHI classification (2019). Conclusion: Application of warm water foot soak with a mixture of salt and lemongrass can lower blood pressure in elderly people with hypertension.

Abstract

Introduction: Creating a program to establish a Disaster Safe Education Unit [Satuan Pendidikan Aman Bencana (SPAB)] is one of the initiatives the government is doing to prevent catastrophes and manage their effects in educational settings. Objective: The purpose of this community service project is to improve students' understanding of and proficiency in disaster preparedness. Method: The three types of activity approaches include planning, carrying out, and reviewing. 43 students participated in this activity, which involved a lecture and Q&A session. Result: It may be inferred from the activity's outcomes that educating students can help them become more knowledgeable about earthquake and flood disasters. The instructive exercise proceeded without any difficulties, and the participants engaged with great enthusiasm. Conclusion: In order to make sure that every student is aware of disaster readiness and can lower their risk of disaster, it is desired that the school would keep up its ongoing disaster preparedness education programs.

Abstract

  Background:Indonesia is a country crossed by the equator which has various kinds of potential natural beauty such as beaches, lakes, caves, waterfalls, mountains and others. On the island of Java there are 35 volcanoes,Mount Merapi is one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia and even in the world. Efforts to reduce disaster risk are carried out before a disaster occurs,which is called risk management, while after a disaster occurs,it is called impact management. The results of disaster mitigation efforts are used for the disaster preparedness process.Objective:Education is carried out to increase knowledge of the community, especially in communities that are in areas prone to the Mount Merapi disaster.Method:Community service is carried out using educational video media which is given to communities that are vulnerable to being affected by Mount Merapi.Result:The results of the student pretest showed that 70% of the participants did not understand about volcanic eruption mitigation and 30% of the students already understood. The posttest was carried out with the same questions as the pretest and the results showed that 93% students already understood the issue. explanation of mitigation for the volcanic eruption disaster.Conclusion:There is an increase in knowledge after disaster mitigation education is carried out.

Abstract

Latar Belakang; Kolik abdomen adalah rasa nyeri pada perut yang sifatnya hilang timbul dan sumber dari organ yang terdapat dalam abdomen atau perut, yang disebabkan oleh infeksi didalam organ perut. Banyak juga para ahli yang mendefinisikan Kolik abdomen sebagai suatu kondisi yang ditandai dengan kram atau nyeri kolik hebat yang mungkin disertai dengan mual muntah. Tujuan; Mengetahui adanya penurunan intensitas nyeri setelah diberiakan terapi kompres hangat pada pasien dengan kolik abdomen Metode; Jenis penelitian ini studi kasus. Hasil; Penerapan kompres hangat dilakuian selama dua hari berturut-turut dilakukan dua kali sehari, didapatkan hasil yang sama pada kedua responden yaitu terjadi penurunan skala nyeri dari kedua responden yang sebelumnya nyeri sedang menunjukan skala nyeri 5-6 sesudah diberikan relaksasi kompres hangat menunjukan skala nyeri ringan di skala nyeri 2-3. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa nyeri kolik abdomen dapat teratasi keduanya. Kesimpulan; Terdapat perbedaan perkembangan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan kompres hangat pada nyeri kolik abdomen.

Abstract

Background: Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by blood sugar instability caused by insufficient insulin secretion and action. Diabetes mellitus can be controlled through four pillars of management, one of which is physical activity such as progressive muscle relaxation. Progressive muscle relaxation is one of the nursing interventions that can be given to DM patients which involves regular muscle tightening and stretching to improve relaxation and self-management ability to lower blood sugar levels. Objective: Knowing the results of the application of progressive muscle relaxation with a decrease in blood glucose levels in patients with DM. Methods: Case study by comparing pre and post tests on 2 respondents conducted in May-June 2024. Results: Blood glucose levels before the application of progressive muscle relaxation in Mr. S were 452 mg/dl and 452 mg/dl. S is 452 mg/dl and after application it becomes 196 mg/dl while in Mrs. S before application it is 378 mg/dl and after application it becomes 193 mg/dl. Conclusion. There is a decrease in blood glucose levels before and after progressive muscle relaxation for 25-30 minutes in 4 days.

Abstract

Background; Stroke is a blood circulation disorder in the brain which results in the death of brain tissue. Stroke patients who experience hemiparesis can result in functional impairment, impaired mobility, impaired daily activities and irreversible disability. Purpose: This study aims to determine the results of implementing rubber ball ROM exercise on muscle strength in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients. Methods: The application was carried out using a descriptive method with a case study design in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients who are at risk of experiencing muscle weakness. The application of the rubber ball rom exercise was carried out for 4 consecutive days by holding the rubber ball for 5 seconds and repeated 7 times. Results: There was an increase in muscle strength of 1 degree in both respondents after the rubber ball ROM exercise. Conclusion: The results of the application to the two respondents between before and after being given the rubber ball ROM exercise showed an increase in muscle strength. So that rubber ball ROM exercise can be used as a non-pharmacological technique to increase muscle strength in stroke patients.

Abstract

Diabetic ulcers is a complication of diabetes mellitus resulting from autonomic neuropathy and/or vascular disorders of the limbs. One of the diabetic ulcer treatment techniques is using aloe vera gel contains anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and can repair tissue damage of diabetic ulcers.. To determine changes after applying aloe vera gel to diabetic ulcer wound healing. This research uses descriptive case studies by observing nursing care for diabetic ulcer patients using aloe vera gel at the Boyolali with an application 3x and application is carried out every 2 days using the Bates-Jensen Wound Assessment Tool. Results: The results of the assessment score before application in respondent 1 score 24 points with categories wound regeneration and respondent 2 score 30 points with categories wound regeneration. After application with aloe vera gel the score on respondent 1 was 14 points with categories wound regeneration while on respondent 2 was 11 points with categories Tissue Health. The application of aloe vera gel can be used as an effective nonpharmacological method for diabetic ulcer wound.
