Abstract

Produksi jamur Indonesia mencapai 63,16 ton pada tahun 2022 dengan salah satu produksi terbesar berada di Jawa Tengah. Kabupaten Sukoharjo menjadikan jamur sebagai salah satu usahatani budidaya khususnya pada budidaya jamur tiram dan jamur kuping. Metode dasar penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif dan analitis. Lokasi penelitian dipilih secara sengaja di Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Metode penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan sensus sampling dengan sampel yang diambil masing-masing 30 petani di Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan yaitu rata-rata biaya total pada usahatani jamur tiram dan jamur kuping adalah sebesar Rp 3.465.303 danr Rp 3.580.136. Rata-rata penerimaan jamur tiram dan jamur kuping adalah sebesar Rp 4.613.878 dan Rp 6.526.150. Rata-rata keuntungan yang diperoleh usahatani jamur tiram dan jamur kuping adalah Rp Rp 1.148.575 Rp 2.946.013. Rata-rata efisiensi usahatani jamur tiram adalah 1,33 dan jamur kuping adalah 1,82 yang berarti keduanya telah efisien. Hasil independent sample t-test menunjukkan nilai sig (2-tailed) 0,05 pada kategori biaya sehingga tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Nilai sig (2-tailed) 0,05 pada penerimaan, keuntungan dan efisiensi sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua usahatani. Analisis mann-whitney menunjukkan bahwa ancaman risiko usahatani jamur tiram dan jamur kuping memiliki nilai Asymp sig (2-tailed)  0,05 sehingga tidak berbeda secara signifikan.

Abstract

Technical efficiency is a crucial aspect of shallot production in Indonesia, yet comprehensive research analyzing the technical efficiency of shallot farmers in Magetan Regency remains limited. This study aims to measure the technical efficiency levels of shallot farming in Magetan Regency, identify the influencing factors, and provide relevant recommendations. This research contributes to the literature by providing the first comprehensive analysis of technical efficiency in Magetan Regency's unique highland-lowland agricultural context, offering evidence-based policy recommendations for sustainable shallot production intensification.The research method employed was a survey with a sample of 125 shallot farmers selected through a multistage random sampling technique. Data analysis utilized the Cobb-Douglas Stochastic Frontier production function with Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE), and technical efficiency was measured by comparing actual output to potential output. The results showed that the average technical efficiency of farmers reached 0.757, with 80% of farmers classified as efficient (≥ 0.7). Factors with a significant impact on production included the use of urea, labor, and seeds, which had a positive influence, while land area and organic fertilizer had a negative effect. These findings indicate inefficiencies in some production inputs, particularly in land management and the use of organic fertilizers. Optimizing fertilizer application, enhancing labor skills, and selecting quality seeds are strategic steps to improve technical efficiency. The findings have direct policy implications for agricultural extension programs, input subsidy allocation, and farmer training initiatives in Indonesia's shallot production centers.

Abstract

Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) merupakan upaya preventif dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan yang perlu ditanamkan sejak usia dini. Namun, pemahaman anak-anak mengenai pentingnya mencuci tangan dan menyikat gigi dengan benar masih tergolong rendah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran anak terhadap penerapan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) melalui edukasi cuci tangan dan sikat gigi sejak dini. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyampaian materi, demonstrasi, serta praktik langsung oleh peserta. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di TK Pertiwi Genikan dengan sasaran siswa TK A dan TK B. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta antusias mengikuti kegiatan dan mampu mempraktikkan kembali langkah-langkah mencuci tangan serta menyikat gigi dengan benar. Selain itu, peserta juga menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman terkait pentingnya menjaga kebersihan diri. Dengan demikian, kegiatan edukasi ini dapat menjadi salah satu upaya dalam menanamkan PHBS sejak dini.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises are experiencing rapid development. MSMEs need to measure performance to determine business conditions and increase competitive advantage. Minions Winner MSME is a banana chip agro-industry business that has development potential. This study aims to determine the business performance of UMKM Minions Winner based on the balanced scorecard perspective and determine the business improvement strategy plan for UMKM Minions Winner. The research was conducted at MSME Minions Winner in Karanganyar Regency, Central Java using the basic descriptive method. The data sources of this research are primary data and secondary data. Analysis of research data using the balanced scorecard method. The results showed that the performance of Minions Winner MSMEs had a score of 88.5% in the good category. The financial, customer, and learning and growth perspectives achieved good performance, while the internal business process perspective was in the poor category. Indicators that are still lacking are customer acquisition, innovation level, and damaged products. Strategic recommendations suggested for improving the performance of Minions Winner MSMEs focus on internal business process perspectives and customer perspectives, including digital marketing, consignment, expansion of marketing areas, innovation of flavour variants, improvement of SOPs, elimination of job rolling systems, and monitoring.

Abstract

Installation of an Ozone Generator Machine to Improve the Quality of Organic Vegetables in Gedangan Village - Boyolali. The Utomo Jayan Farmers Group is an organic vegetable farmer group in Gedangan Village, Cepogo District, Boyolali Regency which has a major problem: the quality of vegetables. The vegetables produced by the group are quickly damaged, and many are returned by partners (buyers) due to needing to meet quality. The main purpose of this service activity is to assist in adopting post-harvest technology as an ozone generator to improve the quality of vegetables. Ozone technology can increase the shelf life of vegetables, prevent vegetables from spoiling quickly, reduce pesticide residues and harmful chemicals in the vegetables. The method of community service was conducted by socialization and active participation by involving all members of the farmer group. The results of this service activity were able to increase the shelf life of fresher vegetables within 20 days (red chilies), 14 days (tomatoes), 7 days (scallions), celery (9 days), and broccoli (5 days).

Abstract

UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah) adalah bisnis yang dijalankan secara individu, rumah tangga, atau badan usaha ukuran kecil. UMKM berguna dalam menaikkan harga jual bahan baku mentah untuk dipasarkan dalam bentuk produk jadi. Tawangmangu merupakan kecamatan yang berada di Kabupaten Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah. Tawangmangu berada di daerah pegunungan dengan ketinggian rata-rata 1.000 mdpl sehingga cocok untuk ditanami tanaman, baik berupa tanaman pangan, sayuran, maupun buah-buahan. Beberapa tanaman yang sering dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan dasar produk olahan pangan UMKM seperti pisang, ubi jalar, ubi kayu, wortel, jagung, dan lainnya. Tawangmangu yang menjadi daerah wisata diharapkan mampu dijadikan peluang bagi masyarakat khususnya UMKM dalam memasarkan hasil olahannya. Bentuk dukungan yang dapat diberikan adalah dengan melakukan pelatihan kewirausahaan bagi UMKM dalam membangun branding produk olahanya sehingga mampu bersaing dengan kompetitor. Berdasarkan survey yang dilakukan, keberadaan UMKM di Tawangmangu cukup banyak namun branding yang dilakukan kurang maksimal. Pelatihan branding produk olahan berguna dalam menarik konsumen dan menjaga keberlanjutan usaha yang nantinya berdampak dalam menyediakan lapangan pekerjaan, serta meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat di Tawangmangu. Melihat potensi, prospek, dan peluang usaha tersebut maka pelatihan kewirausahaan pada UMKM Tawangmangu Karanganyar perlu dilakukan, karena hal ini dapat membantu UMKM dalam mengembangkan usahannya. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan beberapa kegiatan yaitu penyuluhan mengenai kewirausahaan, branding, dan pengemasan produk olahan UMKM. Dari permasalahan yang ada, perlu kiranya dilakukan pendampingan kepada UMKM Akar Mulya Desa Karanglo, Tawangmangu, khususnya mengenai kegiatan dalam melakukan manajemen usaha, mengembangkan branding dan kemasan produk olahan sehingga mampu mengembangkan UMKM. Dari kegiatan persiapan dan diskusi dengan Kelompok UMKM Akar Mulya di Desa Karanglo Kecamatan Tawangmangu Kabupaten Karanganyar mereka sangat mengharapkan bantuan dan pelatihan untuk kewirausahaan, branding dan pengemasan produk olahan UMKM hasil produksi yang dihasilkan dari Desa Karanglo itu sendiri.

Abstract

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is one of the leading agricultural commodities in Karanganyar Regency and makes a high contribution to the regional economy. Supply chain management is designed to face the main challenges related to quantity and quality risks and provide maximum profits for business actors. The research took place from July to August 2024. This research aims to analyze the ginger supply chain system and measure its performance using Vorst's Food Supply Chain Management (FSCN) analysis, margin value, and farmers' share. Optimization/upgrading in the supply chain is analyzed based on product, process, and functional aspects. A sampling of 35 farmers was carried out using proportional random sampling, and 8 traders used snowball sampling. The research results show that the ginger supply chain operates well through four distribution channels. Channel I (Farmers-consumers), Channel II (Farmers-retailers-consumers), Channel III (Farmers-collectors-retailers), Channel IV (Farmers-collectors-industrial consumers). Channel I is the most efficient with a margin value of zero and a farmer's share value of 100%. The highest margin value is in channel III at Rp. 4,428.60. Recommendations for product, process, and functional upgrading include improving land management, such as superior seeds; increasing control of storage space; improving the contract system; creating website technology; and government support in meeting the needs of chain members (capital, credit, and institutional formation). The aim is to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness of ginger to gain a wider market share.
