Abstract

The application of technology in learning is a must for teachers to respond to the challenges of changing times. The implementation of digital literacy training and assistance for elementary school teachers in the city of Atambua aims to train teachers in developing learning media and Quiz with Canva and Kahoot. The participants in this activity were 30 elementary school teachers spread across the city of Atambua. The result of this activity is an increase in teachers' skills in using Canva and Kahoot in developing learning media and quizzes for elementary school students as well as producing learning media products and practice questions in the form of quizzes.

Abstract

AbstrakPerumusan indikator dan tujuan pembelajaran merupakan suatu permasalahan klasik yang dihadapi oleh guru terkhususnya dalam menetapkan kata kerja operasional. Dengan adanya alat bantu berupa aplikasi Kamus KKO berbasis android yang dijalankan secara offline dan online sangat membatu guru di SDI Lasiana Kota Kupang dalam memangkas waktu perumusan indikator dan tujuan pembelajaran secara tepat sesuai dengan level pada setiap ranah. Sebanyak 66% guru merasa sangat puas dengan aplikasi Kamus KKO dan sebanyak 80% guru menyakatan aplikasi Kamus KKO sangat praktis digunakan. Kata Kunci : Kamus KKO, Indikator, Tujuan Pembelajaran AbtsractFormulating indicators and learning objectives is a classic problem faced by teachers, especially in determining operational verbs. With the existence of tools in the form of an Android-based Kamus KKO application that can be run offline and online, it really helps teachers at SDI Lasiana, Kupang City in reducing the time for formulating indicators and learning objectives appropriately according to the level in each domain. As many as 66% of teachers were very satisfied with the Kamus KKO application and as many as 80% of teachers said the KKO Dictionary application was very practical to use. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether using a digital problem-based learning strategy improves the problem-solving skills of prospective elementary school teacher education students. The research is quantitative and uses a quasi-experimental design. This study implemented a nonequivalent control group design. This study included 66 students divided into two groups: an experimental class using the digital problem-based learning model and a control class using the problem-based learning model. Data were collected using pretest and posttest instruments in both courses before and after the therapy, as well as a questionnaire to assess the attractiveness of learning using the DPBL learning paradigm. The N-gain technique was used to examine the effectiveness of the DPBL model on the problem-solving abilities of prospective elementary school teacher students. The results show an N-gain value of 0.69, which is quite effective when interpreted using N-gain criteria. This means that the digital problem-based learning model can help improve the problem-solving skills of prospective elementary school teacher education students.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Adventist Kupang City on the material for making decorative study schedules by applying the Project Learning model. This research is a class action research carried out in two cycles with the following teps: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects in this study were 15 class IV students. The data collection instruments used in this study were teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets, students' project skills, and learning achievement tests. The data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively.The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle. Student learning outcomes increased in cycle I, namely 27% increased to 100% in cycle II, project work results increased from 20% to 100% in cycle II, teacher observation results increased in cycle I 58% in cycle II to 100% and the results of student observations increased in cycle I 58,5% to 87% in cycle II. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model in learning can improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the material for making decorative lesson schedules at Adventist Elementary School, Kupang City.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes regarding the life cycle of living things in class IV SD GMIT Kolhua, Kupang City by using the application of reinforcement methods. Based on the results of initial observations by researchers at GMIT Kolhua Elementary School, Kupang City, totaling 23 students, it was found that in reality, the student learning outcomes showed that 80% had not reached a score above the KKM, namely 70. This is because teachers do not provide reinforcement so students are less motivated in the learning process because students feel that there is no appreciation for their participation in learning so student learning outcomes still look low. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which includes four stages of planning, implementation, observation/test, and reflection. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation sheets and tests. The research results in cycle I received poor criteria with a complete presentation of student learning outcomes obtained at 56.52%, while student learning outcomes in cycle II received very good criteria (SB). With the completeness of the presentation, the students obtained 86.96. So the learning method is student learning outcomes, while the data from student observations in cycle I, students obtained a total score of 1,1561.11 with an average of 67.87 and received adequate criteria (C), while in cycle II the student activity score increased to 2,038, 89 with an average score of 88.65 and received very good criteria (SB). Based on the results of student observations above, there was an increase from cycle I to cycle II of 13.04%.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to determine the significance of the PMRI approach in helping class VB students understand cubes and blocks. The research was conducted at SD Inpres Fatukoa, Kupang City, using a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design and a one-group pretest-posttest design type. The research instruments used are pretest and posttest questions. Research findings show that the PMRI approach has a strong influence on student learning outcomes, with an average after-treatment of 78.33. Data analysis with paired sample t-test on SPSS version 21 resulted in a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which shows that the PMRI approach has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in the geometry of cubes and blocks.

Abstract

Utilization of Whole Number Multiplication Board Teaching Aids in Mathematics Learning Multiplication Material Using the Inquiry Learning Model to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Class IV Uptd Sdi Perumnas 1. The research problem is that learning tends to use the lecture method so that learning is less interesting which causes student learning outcomes to be low. The aim of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of class IV UPTD SDI Perumnas 1 students using the inquiry learning model by utilizing the multiplication board teaching aid. This research method uses the PTK method which consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this research were class IV B students, totaling 20 students. Data collection techniques are in the form of observation and tests, while the data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. The research results showed that in cycle I, the percentage of teacher activity was 64%, the percentage of student activity was 70.50% and the average student test results were 60.5 with a completion percentage of 50%. Meanwhile, in cycle II there was an increase with the percentage of teacher activity being 96%, the percentage of student activity being 80% and the average student test result being 78 with a completion percentage of 80%. Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that learning by utilizing multiplication board teaching aids using the inquiry learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class IV UPTD SDI Perumnas 1 students.

Abstract

The Implementation of the PBL (Problem-Based Learning) Model to Improve Mathematics Learning Outcomes on Fraction Material The research problem is: How can the implementation of the PBL (Problem-Based Learning) learning model improve learning outcomes in fraction material for fifth-grade students at UPTD SD Inpres Bakunase 2 The aim of the study is to improve students' learning outcomes in fraction material by using the PBL (Problem-Based Learning) model for fifth-grade students at UPTD SD Inpres Bakunase 2.The research subjects consisted of 14 students, including 6 male and 8 female students.  The research method used was qualitative descriptive in the form of classroom action research (CAR), with data collection techniques including observation, tests, and document studies. The collected data were processed and further analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study in Cycle I showed that out of 14 research subjects, only 6 students (42.85%) achieved mastery, while the remaining 8 students (57.14%) did not meet the criteria. This was due to the teacher's lack of guidance during group tasks, students' low conceptual understanding of the material, and students not paying attention to the teacher's explanation when using teaching aids.In Cycle II, there was an improvement, as evidenced by 12 out of 14 students (85.7%) achieving mastery. This increase was due to the teacher's better classroom management and individual guidance during group tasks, improved student understanding of the material, and an increase in students' motivation to participate in learning and pay attention to the teacher's explanations

Abstract

Numeracy ability is one of the abilities that students need to have to be able to overcome problems related to mathematical logic. The results of the PISA survey stated that Indonesia is classified as a country with the numeracy ability of students that has not been maximized. Meanwhile, to be more specific, the numeracy ability of students in areas spread throughout Indonesia is not clearly known. This research method is quantitative research, with a survey type. The subjects in this study were 364 students from elementary schools spread across Kupang City. Data collection was carried out using test techniques with a total of 15 numeracy test questions. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics so that the average and distribution of the frequency of numeracy skills of students in elementary schools in Kupang City was known based on the level of their levels. The results showed that as many as 157 students or 45.35% had numeracy skills at level 3, namely being able to choose and apply simple problem-solving strategies; 143 respondents or 41.33% have numeracy skills at level 2, namely being able to use formulas, carry out procedures or agreements in solving problems; and the remaining 46 respondents or 13.29% have numeracy skills in Level 1 is being able to identify information and complete routine procedures according to clear instructions for the situation

Abstract

This study aims to test the significant influence of the use of Augmented Reality technology-based learning media on the learning outcomes of third-grade students on Ecosystem material in third-grade SD Inpres Noelbaki, Kupang Regency. The type of research used is quantitative experimental research. The population in this study were third-grade students of SD Inpres Noelbaki with the research sample being students of class III C. Data were obtained through observation and testing, which were then analyzed in two stages, namely test analysis in the form of validity and reliability tests, then data analysis in the form of normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the study showed a significant influence of Augmented Reality learning media on student learning outcomes, this was indicated by an increase from the pretest to the posttest results and the results of the hypothesis test stating that H_0 was rejected and H_a was accepted with a significance level obtained of 0.000 <0.05.
