Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) are one of the business entities mandated by law as the spearhead of driving the economy in the village. This study wants to know the extent of the BUMDES collaboration strategy with other parties in building and developing tourist villages and other business units. This study uses qualitative research methods, with interviews with several trusted sources in Bhinor Village, Paiton District, Probolinggo Regency. This study shows the success of the BUMDES collaboration strategy with other parties. There are three BUMDES collaboration strategies in developing BUMDes, namely first, collaboration with PT. PJB UP Paiton in optimizing CSR to develop the quality of human resources and infrastructure for tourist villages and BUMDES business units. Second, cooperation with community groups in exploring village potential and recruiting workers. Third, Collaborating with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to develop and promote local products. In short, BUMDES has succeeded in optimizing collaborative collaboration with other parties in driving the economy in the village. In addition, this study uses analysis of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) as an effort to face competition with competitors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze ICT management in the earthquake disaster in Jayapura Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive design. Sources of data come from secondary sources, which include books, journals, online news, and various documents according to the research theme. Based on research results, comprehensive and clear handling of natural disasters has been regulated in Article 5 of Chapter 3 of Law 24/2007 concerning disasters. In ICT management, Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) and Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) use official websites as information channels. Regarding disaster management information and communication systems, BNPB and BPBD themselves have a Disaster Management Operations Control Center, hereinafter abbreviated as Pusdalops PB. The people of Jayapura City mostly access information independently through social media.

Abstract

Kegiatan bertujuan untuk menerapkan metode community development dan two way symmetric yang dikemas dalam bentuk edukasi dan sosialisasi berbasis door to door. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi minim plastic cukup efektif untuk diterapkan sebagai upaya meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya mengurangi bahkan meniadakan penggunaan kantong plastic dan beralih memanfaatkan kantong belanja alternatif seperti noken. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi terungkap bahwa jika para pedagang buah belum mengetahui adanya Instruksi Walikota Jayapura Nomor 1 Tahun 2019 kaitannya dengan penggunaan kantong belanja alternatif sebagai pengganti kantong plastic sekali pakai. Sebagai rekomendasi, kedepannya pihak terkait harus intens turun ke masyarakat guna memberikan edukasi yang berpangkal terhadap peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat, baik itu mengenai kebijakan yang dikeluarkan pemerintah begitu juga dengan menanamkan rasa kecintaan terhadap lingkungan di tengah-tengah masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the United Nations Fund for Women (UNIFEM) in upholding women's rights by helping victims of sexual violence in the Darfur region of Sudan. By extension, it explores whether the organisation provided an effective example of a feminist groups in the face of this issue. This research is descriptive, using qualitative methods. The data taken is based on relevant books, academic journals, and online material. The analytical tools used are the concepts of feminism and international cooperation. The results of this research show that, when attempting to solve the problem of sexual violence in Darfur, UNIFEM came to the aid of victims, collaborating with local institutions in the area. This resulted in positive outcomes for sexual violence victims in Darfur, though UNIFEM continues to face several challenges. Keywords: Feminism, Sexual Violence, Conflict, UNIFEM

Abstract

This research is aimed at gathering information and analyzing branding strategies to strengthen the tourism image of Jayapura Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, namely describing and analyzing branding strategies to strengthen the tourism image of Jayapura Regency. Sources of data in this study came from the website belonging to the Jayapura Regency Culture and Tourism Office, online news related to the theme, and literature reviews. The data analysis technique used in this study refers to that described by Creswell in Moleong (2008), namely using 5 steps, namely: processing and preparing data for analysis, reading the entire data, analyzing in more detail by coding the data. Based on the results of this study, tourism branding in Jayapura Regency has several challenges.

Abstract

Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Mendeley ditujukan bagi Mahasiswa Akhir di Kota Jayapura. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan mengenai aplikasi Mendeley serta kemudahan yang diberikan dalam penyusunan tugas akhir skripsi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini memanfaatkan metode Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), metode ini terbagi dalam 3 (tiga) tahapan kegiatan, masing-masing; tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta tahap refleksi dan diskusi. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan ini; pertama, sebagian peserta sebelumnya tidak sama sekali memiliki pengetahuan tentang aplikasi Mendeley, akan tetapi setelah mengikuti pelatihan mereka telah mendapatkan gambaran serta pengetahuan mengenai kemudahan yang diberikan dalam menunjang penulisan karya ilmiah. Kedua, sebagian peserta telah mengenal aplikasi Mendeley akan tetapi belum memiliki kemampuan dalam mengoperasikannya, maka setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan mereka telah mampu menjalankannya. Adapun minat dan antusias para peserta sangat tinggi dalam mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan tersebut, hal ini dapat terlihat melalui partisipasi yang berkembang dalam tahapan diskusi, serta praktek menjalankan aplikasi Mendeley. Sebagai rekomendasi, pertama pelatihan serupa penting untuk dilakukan secara rutin bagi mahasiswa, kedua peserta kegiatan diharapkan tidak hanya mahasiswa yang sedang atau hendak menyusun skripsi, ketiga ketika peserta terlalu banyak sebaiknya dibuat ke dalam beberapa sesi agar kegiatan pelatihan dapat berjalan efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the roles and strategies of the Lontar literacy community to introduce literacy culture to the wider community in the West Nusa Tenggara region. Primary data obtained through observation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out systematically by determining the sections and relationships between the data sections. The validity of the data is measured by triangulation and external audit. The results show that the Lontar Community has played its role by providing intensive coaching since 2017 at Taman Baca Masyarakat in two regencies that are tourist destinations, such as TBM Rinjani at the slopes of Rinjani, and the Perpustakaan Adat Bayan for this Traditional Village, North Lombok Regency. In this journey, the Community cooperates with all parties whose mission is to advance education. As for the strategy of spreading literacy culture, the Lontar Community utilizes public space as a place for reading books, scientific discussion and writing in the classroom, and uses social media for literacy campaigns.

Abstract

Kajian ini terfokus membahas tentang peran influencer dalam sistem politik Indonesia di era digitalisasi. Mengingat dewasa ini, para influencer semakin meluas ranah keterlibatannya hingga merambah ke dunia politik. Kajian ini memanfaatkan jenis penelitian kepustakaan, dimana data dikumpulkan dari pelbagai sumber literatur dengan melakukan analisis teks dan wacana. Selanjutnya dilakukan cross check  dengan tujuan menguji validitas data. Hasil kajian ini  menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pola segitiga kekuatan dalam sistem politik, masing-masing; government, private sector dan civil society yang berperan penting dalam memotori proses pengambilan kebijakan. Pada konteks ini, influencer kemudian dikategorikan sebagai bagian dari civil society yang bertindak sebagai pemberi input dan feedback dalam proses pengambilan kebijakan. Di ranah Pemilihan Umum [Pemilu], pelibatan influencer dari kalangan selebritis  bertujuan untuk membentuk opini publik, mendapatkan dukungan masyarakat, bahkan memenangkan kompetisi. Aura positif yang dimiliki oleh influencer juga dimanfaatkan oleh penyelenggara pemilu [KPU] dalam peningkatan partisipasi pemilih. Realita ini, banyak ditemui dalam penghelatan Pilkada di sejumlah daerah di Indonesia. Sebagai catatan penutup, perkembangan media sosial lambat laun mengalami pergeseran menjadi alat propaganda politik, terlebih di masa Pemilihan Kepala Daerah [Pilkada] di Indonesia, maka perlu dilakukan pendewasaan diri oleh masyarakat dalam bermedia sosial yang dimulai dari langkah sederhana seperti dengan melakukan cross check terlebih dahulu terhadap beragam informasi atau berita disajikan.
