Abstract

Kebon Gedang Block is one of the few areas of natural dye batik craftsmen in Indonesia. The activity of using natural dyes for batik has been carried out from generation to generation. This study aims to analyze the transfer of ethnobotanical knowledge of natural dyes based on age class (KU), analyze ways to regenerate and analyze the policy scheme for retention of ethnobotanical knowledge of natural dyes in the Kebon Gedang Block. The main methods used in this study were semi-open interviews, observation, and documentation. The selection of respondents was carried out by purposive sampling by considering age (years), namely I (30-39), II (40-49), III (50-59), IV (> 60). The results showed that the level of knowledge of natural dyes and retention was highest in KU III because the people were still healthy, strong, and generally still actively following the development of the batik industry. However, KU III is the group with the highest change in knowledge and is feared to be lost. While at other KU levels, the inheritance of knowledge is still going well. The policy of retaining ethnobotanical knowledge of natural dyes can be carried out in several ways, including by creating books, booklet or electronic sites about knowledge of natural dyes, as well as by registering intellectual property rights. This research can record the current state of knowledge so that efforts can be made to avoid losing this knowledge.

Abstract

Organic waste is the type of waste that has the largest amount in Indonesia. If not managed properly, the organic waste can cause various kinds problem. One of the technologies to overcome this is by means composting using Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae. BSF larvae (maggot) has a better decomposition ability compared to organisms as well as other microorganisms. The aims of this research is to determine the most effective substarte that can affect the growth of black soldier larvae and the speed of bioconversion. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with an expreslanatory design. The study uses two variables (independent and dependent). Independent variables in this study are feeding frequency and type of organic waste as substrate. The dependent variables in this study are the speed ofbioconversion and the growth of black soldier larvae. The instruments used in this study are experiment research. The primary Data was obtained from 8 different composition and kind of organic waste. The analysis used is univariate analysis of variance using the SPSS 25.0 application. Results showed that restaurant waste is the most effective waste for reduction by black soldier fly larvae because it produces larvae with the best growth and the highest bioconversion rate among other waste.

Abstract

Wirasangka mango is the identity flora of Tegal Regency. The morphological characters of the wirasangka mango have been studied, but need to be supplemented with anatomical characters. The anatomical character of the plant that needs to be studied is the anatomy of the leaves. Leaves have varying tissue structures and pigment content. This study aims to describe the anatomical characters and analyze the pigment content of wirasangka mango leaves. The characteristics and pigment content of wirasangka mango leaves have never been reported. Anatomical characters of mango wirasangka leaves were determined by cross-sectional leaf preparations using non-embedding method and whole mount leaf preparations. The pigment content of mango wirasangka leaves was analyzed using a spectrophotometer. The results of the study of the anatomical characters showed that the leaves of wirasangka mango have dorsiventral and hypostomatous leaf, have a palisade ratio of 4-5 cells, stomata are anomocytic type, guard cell length is 11.45 µm and guard cell width is 4.78 µm, and has a stomatal density of 173.25 /mm2. The chlorophyll content of shoots, young and mature leaves of wirasangka mango were 9.1 mg/l, 12.28 mg/l and 47.89 mg/l. The carotenoid content of shoots, young leaves and mature leaves were 293.51 µmol/g, 371.76 µmol/g, and 1445.88 µmol/g respectively, and the anthocyanin content of shoots, young leaves and mature leaves were respectively also 1.36 mg/100g, 0.75 mg/100g, and 0.38 mg/100g. The results of the research can be used to complete the characters that need to be observed in the characterization of wirasangka mango.

Abstract

Palmyra (Borassus flabellifer L.) is the identity plant of Tuban Regency. The main palmyra product in Tuban Regency is the sap. In the last 5 years (2015-2020) the productivity of sap has not increased. This study aimed to determine the correlation between cultivation factors and palmyra production in the Semanding Subdistrict, Tuban Regency, Indonesia. The research was correlative research with quantitative descriptive explanatory. The independent variables were several tree ownership, nurseries, fertilization, tapping methods, and control of plant pests. The dependent variable was the productivity of the palmyra sap. The research data sources were the people in the villages of Kowang, Gedongombo, Tegalagung, and Prunggahan, with a total sample taken of 103 people. Data collection was carried out using observation and semi-structured interviews. The results were then analyzed using the multiple linear regression application SPSS 25. The results showed that all the factors in the model, through the F test, had a significant effect simultaneously. Partially using the t-test, the factors that influence the productivity of the palmyra sap are pest control, the number of trees, and tapping methods. Therefore, the result confirmed the correlation between cultivation factors and palmyra production in the Semanding Subdistrict, Tuban Regency, Indonesia.

Abstract

The Kaligarang River is one of the longest rivers in Semarang which is widely used for various purposes over time, this river has changed towards sedimentation and erosion. Therefore, the existence of vegetatiton is important as an ecosystem balancer. The purpose of this study is to study environmental parameters and analyze the diversity of plants found in the Kaligarang watershed. This type of research includes exploratory research with a line plot sampling method (5 quadrant plots) measuring 1x1 meters for herbs, 5x5 meters for shrubs/shrubs, and 10x10 meters for trees in May 2023-May 2024. Research locations at Tinjomoyo station, Tugu Soeharto, and behind PDAM Tirto Moedal. The results showed that the soil types found were sandy loam, clay, and dusty clay; soil pH between 5.51-6.23; C-organic content 0.32-0.94%; light intensity between 2950-7610 lux; ambient temperature 38°C-45°C, and air humidity 24%-43% which means that the quality of the environment is quite supportive of plant growth quite well. The results of the calculation of plant species diversity (H') with tree habitus was found at station 1 was 0,69 (low) and the highest at station 3 was 0.97 (low); the lowest shrub at station 2 was 0.45 (low) and the highest at station 3 was 1.19 (medium); and the lowest herbaceous at station 1 was 1.25 (medium) and the highest at station 2 was 2.92 (medium). The conclusion from these results is that environmental factors and plant diversity values at each station are different.

Abstract

Ekoenzim merupakan larutan multi guna yang diproduksi dari hasil fermentasi limbah organik berupa limbah sisa sayuran dan buah-buahan, dan memiliki aktivitas antimikroba. penelitian sebelumnya menunjukan perbedaan hasil aktivitas antimikroba ekoenzim berdasarkan perbedaan bahan baku yang digunakan. Beberapa jenis bahan baku menunjukkan hasil aktivitas antimikroba ekoenzim yang baik, tetapi ditemukan pula bahan baku yang tidak menunjukkan aktivitas antimikroba sama sekali. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh bahan baku pembuatan ekoenzim terhadap aktivitas antimikroba yang terkandung di dalamnya. Penelitian ini adalah Systematic Literature Review yang ditulis berdasarkan Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA). Pencarian digital melalui Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, OpenAlex, dan Pubmed menghasilkan 24 artikel yang kemudian dianalisis. Hasil Penelitian menemukan bahwa bahan baku terbukti berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas antimikroba ekoenzim, dikarenakan beberapa jenis bahan baku memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap aktivitas antimikroba ekoenzim, sedangkan terdapat bahan baku yang tidak memberikan pengaruh dan memiliki hasil negatif terhadap aktivitas antimikroba ekoenzim. Bahan baku yang menujukan hasil positif terhadap aktivitas antimikroba adalah sampah kulit nanas, kulit jeruk, kulit pisang dan sisa tomat. Kelompok bahan baku ini menujukan hasil aktivitas antimikroba yang baik jika digunakan sebagai bahan baku tunggal maupun dalam campuran, baik itu dengan sampah buah-buahan lainnya maupun sampah sayur-sayuran. Bahan baku yang tidak menunjukkan aktivitas antimikroba adalah daun kayu putih. Pembuatan ekoenzim dengan atau campuran daun kayu putih sebaiknya dihindari guna memaksimalkan potensi aktivitas antimikroba ekoenzim.

Abstract

The Government-to-Government (G2G) program significantly increases the number of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) in Korea. As a developed country, South Korea is committed to protecting all workers in its territory, including migrant workers from Indonesia. However, the employment social security of the South Korean government is not fully able to cover the risks and needs of PMI. Protecting migrant workers' rights to social security is important. It is also the responsibility of the Indonesian government through BPJS Employment, not only to ensure equal treatment in social security for migrant workers but also to expand social security coverage for populations that are currently unprotected. Therefore, it is important for employment social security administrators to increase the probability of migrant workers becoming BPJS Employment participants. Using the logistic regression method and Sakernas data for August 2021, it was found that migrant workers who work in the formal sector, with work contracts, and have BPJS Health membership have a higher tendency to become Employment Social Security participants.

Abstract

Jahe merupakan tanaman herbal dengan peminat yang tersebar di seluruh dunia. Menurut data yang disebutkan oleh Food and Agriculture Organization di tahun 2019, produksi jahe di Indonesia sebanyak 174 ribu ton dan Indonesia menempati urutan keenam sebagai negara dengan hasil produksi jahe terbesar di Asia. Tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap jahe mengakibatkan melonjaknya produksi jahe sehingga muncul permasalahan baru salah satunya kerusakan pada rimpang jahe. Sehingga alternatif pengendalian dengan fungisida alami diperlukan. Buah pinang memiliki kandungan senyawa bioaktif seperti saponin, flavonoid, tannin, phenol, steroid, alkaloid yang dapat berperan sebagai anti-kapang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ekstrak buah pinang muda terhadap  pertumbuhan kapang pada rimpang jahe segar dan simplisia kering rimpang jahe. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini adalah adanya penghambatan pertumbuhan kapang dari penambahan ekstrak dengan pengenceran. Sedangkan perlakuan ekstrak tanpa pengenceran kurang memberikan pengaruh dalam penghambatan pertumbuhan kapang.

Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology have changed the paradigm in the agricultural sector, especially in the application of the Internet of Things (IoT). An IoT-based monitoring system is an innovative step as there is an increasing need for technology in the agricultural sector and the development of the world of education. SMK Negeri 3 Salatiga, majoring in agribusiness, has great potential in hydroponic agriculture of lettuce plants, but there is no use of IoT technology in it. Hydroponic learning activities at SMK Negeri 3 Salatiga still use manual hydroponic learning media, which results in the competence possessed by teachers and students not being competent in IoT technology, especially its application to hydroponics. Meanwhile, if adjusted to learning outcomes, students should be able to fertilize plants in a modern way. The purpose of this study is to develop and implement hydroponic monitoring learning media based on Internet of Things technology. The application of learning media aims to improve the understanding or competence of teachers and students at SMK Negeri 3 Salatiga. The research methods used are Research and Development with the ADDIE development model, as well as one group pre-test and post-test design research design with 31 samples as a competency improvement test. This study resulted in 26 participants out of 31 participants experiencing an increase in competency in the results of the post-exam exam. So, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the competence of using hydroponic IoT by 83% among teachers and students.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan desa sangat erat kaitannya dengan mengembangkan potensi ekonomi di era pembangunan indonesia. Desa Tambakroto merupakan salah satu desa yang memiliki berbagai potensi ekonomi yang menjadi daya tarik bagi masyarakat sekitarnya. Permasalahan lain yang berada di desa tambakroto ialah masih minimnya wawasan dan kesadaran akan pentingnya pendidikan yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia. Peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia dapat diperoleh melalui adanya pemberdayaan melalui pelatihan yang dilaksanakan menyeluruh bagi setiap masyarakat desa. Dalam hal ini, kegiatan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan anggota UNNES GIAT 12 Desa Tambakroto berupa pelatihan berbunga, yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas masyarakat terutama pemberdayaan bagi kaum perempuan terkhusus yang tergabung dalam PKK. Tujuan dari adanya kegiatan pelatihan berbunga adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan memanfaatkan waktu luang anggota PKK yang dapat berdampak dalam meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga.
