Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand quality, price discounts, and consumer reviews on purchasing decisions for Kahf products on the Shopee platform in Sidoarjo City. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 100 respondents who are consumers of Kahf products on Shopee. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, while data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the help of the SmartPLS 3.0 application. The results showed that brand quality, price discounts, and consumer reviews had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Consumer reviews were the variable that had the most dominant influence on purchasing decisions, followed by brand quality, while price discounts had the lowest influence. These findings indicate that consumers consider the experience and assessments of other users more than price factors in determining purchasing decisions for Kahf products on Shopee. Therefore, companies are advised to continue to improve brand quality and encourage consumers to provide positive reviews to improve purchasing decisions

Abstract

Objective: This research is motivated by the importance of product quality, word of mouth, and brand trust in influencing purchasing decisions in local food MSMEs. The main problem lies in how these three factors contribute to consumers' decisions in choosing Tempe Yusuf products. The purpose of this study is to quantitatively analyze the influence of product quality, word of mouth, and brand trust on consumer purchase decisions. Method: This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to 96 respondents who have purchased Tempe Yusuf products, selected by purposive sampling technique. 96 respondents were selected because the number met the regression statistical requirements and was considered sufficient to represent the profile of Tempe Yusuf consumers that were relevant to the purpose of the study. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. Result: The results showed that product quality and word of mouth had a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, while brand trust did not have a significant influence. Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in its focus on local food MSMEs, specifically Tempe Yusuf, and its findings emphasize the dominant role of product quality and word of mouth over brand trust in influencing purchasing decisions within the context of local market competition.

Abstract

General Background: Digital transformation, social media expansion, and e-commerce growth have reshaped consumer behavior, making impulsive buying especially in fashion more prevalent. Specific Background: Fashion items function not only as necessities but also as identity symbols influenced by visual stimuli, promotions, and algorithm-driven advertising. Knowledge Gap: Prior studies seldom integrate technological, psychological, social, and financial factors with consumer engagement to explain impulsive fashion purchases in a digitally dense environment. Aims: This study examines how these consumer characteristics predict impulsive buying behavior among individuals aged 18–35 who actively shop for fashion products online. Results: Findings show that psychological, social, and financial factors significantly affect impulsive buying, while technology plays a lesser role; consumer engagement emerges as the strongest predictor, and the model explains 57% of behavioral variance. Novelty: This research uniquely demonstrates that impulse buying is driven more by affective and social dynamics than by digital convenience, highlighting the mediating intensity of online engagement. Implications: The study suggests that marketers should employ emotionally resonant, socially oriented strategies—such as influencer collaboration and interactive digital promotion—to effectively stimulate impulsive purchasing within fashion markets. Highlights: Impulse buying is driven primarily by psychological, social, and financial factors, not technological convenience. Consumer engagement on social media is the strongest predictor of impulsive fashion purchases. Digital platforms amplify emotional and identity-based triggers, shaping modern buying behavior. Abstract

General Background The Islamic banking industry rapidly develops through modern precious metal investment facilities to meet public demand for safe and compliant assets. Specific Background Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Jenggolo provides precious metal installment products; however, internal data from 2023 to 2025 records a consistent decline in new, existing, and returning clientele. Knowledge Gap Previous studies emphasize the importance of marketing mixes in financial institutions, but few address the specific operational failures causing client attrition in sharia-compliant installment facilities. Aims This research identifies the factors causing the clientele decline and formulates precise marketing and operational frameworks. Results Using a qualitative descriptive method with fifteen respondents, findings indicate that the primary obstacles lie within the People, Promotion, and Process components of the marketing mix. Specifically, conventional offline promotions, inadequate staff communication skills, and limited mobile application features drive client dissatisfaction. Novelty The study provides a targeted diagnostic of sharia investment facilities, linking specific technological deficits directly to clientele attrition patterns over a three-year period. Implications Financial institutions must prioritize human resource training, transition to integrated online promotional campaigns, and upgrade mobile application functionalities to maintain competitive market positioning and investor loyalty. Highlights:  The continuous decline in clientele stems from deficits in personnel competence, promotional reach, and technological processes. Conventional offline marketing fails to attract modern investors compared to targeted online promotional campaigns. Upgrading mobile application features with installment tracking and payment reminders is crucial for securing investor loyalty. Abstract

General Background The global coffee industry increasingly relies on digital platforms to adapt to modern consumer behavior and competitive markets. Specific Background Luwak coffee possesses high economic value but faces significant consumer skepticism regarding authenticity, production hygiene, and animal welfare. Knowledge Gap While previous literature extensively covers social media for sales conversion, there is a lack of empirical evidence on how open digital documentation addresses complex ethical and production concerns in traditional commodities. Aims This study investigates the strategic use of Instagram Feeds and Reels by Kopi Luwak Cikole to deliver transparent information and build brand trust. Results Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method grounded in Integrated Marketing Communications, findings demonstrate that permanent Feeds structure essential certification and processing details, whereas dynamic Reels provide interactive, empirical proof of ethical animal treatment and hygienic production. This integrated openness successfully eliminates consumer uncertainty and translates skepticism into strong buyer confidence without aggressive selling. Novelty The research shifts the digital marketing paradigm from mere promotional volume to radical visual clarity as a mechanism for resolving ethical commodity controversies. Implications Traditional producers must prioritize open, authentic digital documentation to secure consumer confidence, suggesting that future frameworks should fully integrate interactive features like direct messaging to sustain long-term market positioning. Highlights: Dynamic short videos provide empirical proof of ethical animal treatment and hygienic manufacturing. Permanent profile features successfully deliver structured certification details to reduce buyer uncertainty. Open digital communication directly converts consumer skepticism into profound brand trust.
