Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by implementing the Learning Together instructional model in the Integrated Social Science subject for Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Kota Gorontalo. The researcher acted as the classroom teacher and was assisted by the subject teacher, who served as an observer The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two class sessions. Each cycle included four stages. planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used in this study included observation, teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and documentation, all aimed at measuring improved student learning outcomes. The findings indicated increased student engagement from the initial condition through Cycle 1 and Cycle II. In Cycle II, both teacher and student activity data reached the predetermined success indicator of 80% student learning outcomes. Specifically, teacher activity achieved a 94% score, while student activity also reached 92%. Additionally, a significant improvement was observed in students' academic performance, with learning outcomes increasing from the pretest to the posttest by 93%. These results demonstrate that the Learning Together model effectively enhances student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to discover the influence of enterpreneurship learning on students entrepreneurial interest at SMK Negeri 2 Paguyaman. This study employs a quantitative approach using an Associative study method. The data used in this study are primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to all Class XI students of SMK Negeri 2 Paguyaman. The samples consist of 90 respondents. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of the data aanalysis indicate that entrepreneurship learning significantly influences students entrepreneurial interest at SMK Negeri 2 Paguyaman. The contribution of enterpreneurship learning entrepreneurial interest in 88,5% while the remaining 11,5% is influenced by other variables not exantited inthis study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the KIP-K scholarship program policy and learning motivation on the academic achievement of students in the Economics Education Department at Gorontalo State University. The study applies a quantitative approach using survey techniques for data collection. Data processing was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of statistical software. Information was collected directly from KIP-K scholarship recipients through questionnaires distributed at Gorontalo State University. The partial results show that there is a positive influence of the KIP-K Scholarship Program Policy (X1) on Academic Achievement (Y), with a t-value of 2.626 > 1.687 and significance level of 0.012 < 0.005. Learning Motivation (X2) also has an influence with a t-value of 4.067 > 1.687 and significance level of 0.000 < 0.005. Simultaneously, the KIP-K scholarship program policy and learning motivation significantly contribute to students’ academic achievement, with an F-value of 11.581 > 2.859 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.005. However, there are also other factors influencing academic achievement that were not the focus of this study, such as family support and environmental conditions, which account for 58.5% of the influence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of the Theory of Planned Behavior and Financial Literacy on the Intensity of E-Wallet Usage among university students. This research employs a quantitative method. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 88 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Gorontalo State University and analyzed using SPSS version 25 by conducting validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, and F-test. The results show that: (1) the Theory of Planned Behavior has a positive and significant effect on the Intensity of E-Wallet Usage, (2) Financial Literacy has a positive and significant effect on the Intensity of E-Wallet Usage, and (3) both variables simultaneously exert a significant influence. These findings indicate that behavior in using e-wallets is influenced by psychological elements and financial literacy skills Both factors play a crucial role in shaping smart, effective, and responsible digital financial behavior in today's era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between communication skills and students’ learning activities in Social Studies for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Paguyaman. The research employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive correlational design. The population of this study consisted of all eighth-grade students, with a sample of 30 students selected based on appropriate sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Simple linear regression analysis was applied to analyze the relationship between communication skills and students’ learning activities. The results indicate a positive and significant relationship between communication skills and learning activities in Social Studies. This is evidenced by a significance value of 0.000, which is lower than the significance level of 0.05. These findings suggest that better communication skills contribute to higher levels of student learning activity during the instructional process. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination of 0.458 indicates that communication skills account for 45.8% of the variance in students’ learning activities, while the remaining 54.2% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Therefore, enhancing students’ communication skills is essential in fostering active learning in Social Studies classrooms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa, Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Meskipun berbagai penelitian sebelumnya telah menunjukkan efektivitas PBL dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, masih terdapat gap penelitian terkait penerapannya secara spesifik pada konteks pembelajaran Ekonomi di tingkat SMA, khususnya pada materi Industri Keuangan Non Bank (IKNB), serta keterbatasan studi yang menggunakan desain kuantitatif korelasional untuk mengukur besaran pengaruh secara empiris. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei korelasional, yang bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan dan pengaruh antara variabel tanpa melakukan manipulasi. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 123 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 56 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS versi 21.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PBL memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, dengan nilai t-hitung 7,949 > t-tabel 2,004 dan koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 53,9%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa 53,9% variabilitas kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dipengaruhi oleh penerapan PBL, sedangkan sisanya 46,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Dengan demikian, semakin baik penerapan PBL, semakin tinggi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. The Effect of Problem Based Learning Model on Critical Thinking Abilities of Grade X Students in Economics Subject This study aims to determine the effect of the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the critical thinking skills of tenth grade students in Economics subject at SMA Negeri 1 Suwawa, Bone Bolango Regency. Although various previous studies have shown the effectiveness of PBL in improving critical thinking skills, there is still a research gap related to its specific application in the context of Economics learning at the high school level, especially in the Non-Bank Financial Industry (IKNB) material, as well as limitations of studies that use quantitative correlational designs to measure the magnitude of the effect empirically. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational survey design, which aims to test the relationship and influence between variables without manipulation. The study population was 123 students with a sample of 56 respondents selected through a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, then analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 21.0. The results showed that PBL has a positive and significant influence on students' critical thinking skills, with a calculated t-value of 7.949 > t-table 2.004 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 53.9%. This indicates that 53.9% of the variability in students' critical thinking skills is influenced by the implementation of PBL, while the remaining 46.1% is influenced by other variables not examined. Therefore, the better the implementation of PBL, the higher the students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Influence of Digital Literacy and Learning Motivation on Learning Outcomes in the Accounting Computer Course, Faculty of Economics and Business, Gorontalo State University. This study uses a quantitative approach, with the Survey research method. The data used is primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to students of the S1 Economics Education Study Program Class of 2022. The number of Sample Withdrawals in this study was 58 respondents. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the XI variable with the highest indicator was search competence on the internet with an average of 4.44 or 88.8%. In Variable X2 with the highest indicator, namely tenacity in facing difficulties and the existence of future hopes and ideals with an average score of 4.43 or 88.6%. Meanwhile, Variable Y with the highest indicator is in the affective domain with an average score of 4.37 or 87.4%. The results of the study show that there is a positive influence of digital literacy and learning motivation on learning outcomes in the Accounting Computer Course, Faculty of Economics and Business, Gorontalo State University. The results of the determination coefficient showed that there was an influence of digital literacy and learning motivation together on learning outcomes of 0.885 or 88.5% and the remaining 11.5% was determined by other factors outside the model that was not studied. ABSTRAK Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Literasi Digital Dan Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pada Mata Kuliah Komputer Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi Dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode penelitian Survei. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebaran Angket pada Mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Ekonomi Angkatan 2022. Jumlah Penarikan Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebesar 58 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa variabel XI dengan indikator tertinggi yaitu kompetensi pencarian di internet dengan rata-rata 4,44 atau 88,8%. Pada Variabel X2 dengan indikator tertinggi yaitu ulet menghadapi kesulitan serta adanya harapan dan cita-cita masa depan dengan skor rata-rata 4,43 atau 88,6%. Sementara itu Variabel Y dengan indikator tertinggi yaitu pada ranah afektif dengan rata-rata skor 4,37 atau 87,4%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Positif Literasi Digital Dan Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pada Mata Kuliah Komputer Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi Dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Hasil koefisien determinasi menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh literasi digital dan motivasi belajar bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 0,885 atau 88,5% dan sisanya sebesar 11,5% ditentukan oleh faktor lain di luar model yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy levels on financial management of beneficiaries of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) social assistance in Iluta Village, Batudaa District, Gorontalo Regency. This research used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study consisted of all PKH beneficiaries in Iluta Village totaling 104 people, with a sample of 31 respondents determined using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires, while data analysis techniques used simple linear regression analysis supported by validity test, reliability test, normality test, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The results of the study indicate that the level of financial literacy of PKH beneficiaries is in the good category, and family financial management is also in the good category. The hypothesis testing results show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the financial management of PKH beneficiaries in Iluta Village, Batudaa District, Gorontalo Regency. This means that the higher the level of financial literacy possessed by beneficiaries, the better their ability to manage family finances, such as budgeting, distinguishing between needs and wants, recording financial transactions, and saving. Thus, financial literacy plays an important role in improving the effectiveness of the use of PKH social assistance funds and encouraging economic independence and welfare of beneficiary families. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat literasi keuangan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan penerima manfaat bantuan sosial Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) di Desa Iluta Kecamatan Batudaa Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh penerima manfaat PKH di Desa Iluta sebanyak 104 orang, dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 31 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana yang didukung oleh uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat literasi keuangan penerima manfaat PKH berada pada kategori baik dan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga juga berada pada kategori baik. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan penerima manfaat PKH di Desa Iluta Kecamatan Batudaa Kabupaten Gorontalo. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat literasi keuangan yang dimiliki penerima manfaat, maka semakin baik pula kemampuan dalam mengelola keuangan keluarga, seperti menyusun anggaran, membedakan kebutuhan dan keinginan, melakukan pencatatan keuangan, serta menabung.Dengan demikian, literasi keuangan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas penggunaan dana bantuan sosial PKH serta mendorong kemandirian ekonomi dan kesejahteraan keluarga penerima manfaat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas XI di MAN 2 Banggai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi sekaligus sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa kelas XI. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,353 menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 35,3% variasi aktivitas belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan media pembelajaran, sedangkan 64,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat, relevan, dan mudah digunakan dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPS. Oleh karena itu, guru diharapkan mampu mengoptimalkan penggunaan media pembelajaran guna meningkatkan aktivitas dan kualitas belajar siswa.

Abstract

Learning activities are all forms of activities carried out by students during the teaching and learning process that lead to changes in knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Learning is not only a process of receiving information, but also involves students' activeness in thinking, asking questions, observing, discussing, and actively participating in learning activities. This study aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes in Social Sciences (IPS) subjects through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in class VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Suwawa. The low student activity and IPS learning outcomes that have not reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) are due to learning that is still teacher-centered and conventional. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is implemented in two cycles, with the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 24 students of class VIII. The results showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can significantly improve student activity and learning outcomes. Student activity increased from the sufficient category in cycle I to good in cycle II. Student learning outcomes also improved, as indicated by the increase in the average class score and learning completion percentage from 41.67% in cycle I to 83.33% in cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the PBL model is effective in improving the quality of the process and learning outcomes of eighth-grade social studies students at SMP Negeri 2 Suwawa. ABSTRAK Aktivitas belajar adalah segala bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan siswa selama proses belajar mengajar yang mengarah pada perubahan pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan. Belajar bukan hanya proses menerima informasi, tetapi juga melibatkan keaktifan siswa dalam berpikir, bertanya, mengamati, berdiskusi, dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Suwawa. Rendahnya keaktifan siswa serta hasil belajar IPS yang belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) akibat pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru dan bersifat konvensional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 24 siswa kelas VIII.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. Aktivitas siswa meningkat dari kategori cukup pada siklus I menjadi baik pada siklus II. Hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan, ditunjukkan oleh meningkatnya nilai rata-rata kelas dan persentase ketuntasan belajar dari 41,67% pada siklus I menjadi 83,33% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Suwawa.
